WordPress canceled FOTM’s Jetpack Premium software

Because WordPress terminated our Jetpack software, readers can no longer post comments. I’ve reblogged this post on Blogger, where you can post comments, at least for now: https://fotm2.blogspot.com/2019/04/wordpress-canceled-fotms-jetpack.html

Jetpack is the WordPress software that enables this blog, Fellowship of the Minds, to function.

In February 2019, I had purchased the Jetpack Premium plan for $99, which includes all kinds of features, including the powerful Askimet Anti-Spam.

I just received this notice that they’ve cancelled our account. See their email below.

What this means for FOTM I don’t know, nor do I know where we go from here.

TPTB are simply determined to kill FOTM. So if FOTM suddenly disappears, you are forewarned.

I have reached the point where I am bone-weary from fighting battle after battle, dealing with and overcoming attack after attack. This is to let you all know that I do have a limit.

I despair for our country.

God help us.

Keep safe and stay well.

Nazi Censors. And I don’t agree with everything said on FotM, but 1st Amendment Rights say I’ll fight for the right to say them!
Unbelievable. I think it’s time to write Trump about his “Freedom of Speech” and censorship directives, currently aimed at liberal universities and social media organizations (and should be brought to bear upon the lamestream media as well). Want some attorney names too? Likely Pro-bono…
Sorry, just watching the unbelievable projectile vomiting going on non-stop on… ABC??? after the Mueller Report’s SECOND explanation by AG Barr. What the hell is wrong with these morons? They CAN’T LET IT GO!

https://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/melania_trump_754654 It is a human trait, and, it seems, especially American, to make judgements, and to screw anyone who disagrees with our own ideas. Just like this Word Press piece of garbage trying to stifle any ideas contrary to the leftist party line. It is not like this is the first time we have seen such a thing happen, but it is also not going to be the last, by a darn sight. I included a quote from the First Lady, who in my opinion, has overcome her mistakes in her previous life, and become one of the most classy… Read more »

This seems to be a trend. People that design and own plug ins are dirting people that don’t share their same opinions. There was no TOS violation. It’s exactly as they said. They dumped on FOTM because they felt like it. They say they base their business within California laws. There has to be some sort of violation they did here. You can sue for just about anything in California..
On the flipside, Good to see FOTM is up and running.

The problem is some people on this site have hit a nerve with the censors ” you can not criticize those who control you ” I have been banned on 5 other sites mainly for criticizing Jewish roles in history.

The tech giants have been looking increasingly as if they think of themselves as our new masters. They are now so ingrained in our lifestyle, they might be correct.

A couple of maxims apply: 1) Them with the $Billions make the rules, and 2) Absolute power corrupts absolutely. We have to remove their money and power… or at least limit it. Jeff Bezos should in no way be the wealthiest man in the world. He should not be allowed to own the WaPost. But folks keep buying stuff on and through and by Amazon. Ditto the other social media sites and their owners. It wasn’t much different at the turn of the 20th century when railroad (and oil and steel etc.) magnates had the $billions and controlled commerce and… Read more »

I confess to being ignorant of the tech. stuff. I just notice things. Sites like “Jeff Sense” or “What Really Happened” are sometimes targeted too, but they manage to stay up and running. I think I get the issue with “Jet Pack”. Aren’t there other platforms besides “WordPress” that work as well or closely? I know that previously the issue was the host server (I think). So now that’s running through Germany and they’re OK with the site. Now it’s the software? Isn’t there another software that would deliver as well or better. Maybe we could take up a collection.… Read more »
