She’s my hero!
Two punks were robbing a small convenience store, the Continental Market in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
The market is owned by 80-year-old Otilia Martins’ daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Manny Nogueria.
Otilia was in one of the aisles in the store when the two robbers entered and walked around. One of them pointed a gun at the clerk and told her to open the cash register.
So Otilia pelted fruits at the robbers — Eduardo Torres-Lopez, 22, and Jesse DosSantos, 24 — and drove them out of the store!
Her son-in-law later identified the two punks to police, who arrested them for being armed and for related robbery charges.
