I hate to disagree with those I so respect,but the drug war is not what it seems….and is why I got out of law enforcement. When our troops are guarding poppy fields because Alkaida was destroying them (and putting a severe crimp in the world narcotics trade) and ATF is supplying weapons to the cartels and ICE has an open borders policy and the Attorney General prosecutes OUR leo’s and Air America still lands shipments in Mena…..
then I submit that it is not a war against drugs but a war for the control of drugs.
