WI Protestors Cause $7.5M of Damage

Send them the bill

State says damage to marble at Capitol could hit $7.5 million

Via JSOnline,  WI State officials said Thursday that damage to the marble inside and out the State Capitol would cost an estimated $7.5 million. Cari Anne Renlund, chief legal counsel for the state Department of Administration, said in Dane County court that estimates of damage to marble includes $6 million to repair damaged marble inside the Capitol, $1 million for damage outside and $500,000 for costs to supervise the damage. Much of the damage apparently has come from tape used to put up signs and placards at the Capitol.
Certain kinds of tape can leave lasting residues on surfaces such as marble or wood if they are improperly removed. Only a professional cleaning service experienced in such work and familiar with the situation in the state Capitol could estimate any possible costs.
Who will pay for this? WI taxpayers.  I suggest the State start by billing the goons that disrespected a Veterans Memorial at the Capitol and follow-up by sending a bill to the unions.

Damn, how the heck do you do that much damage to polished marble? That’d be like breaking Correlle dinnerware or Lexan windows with a rubber mallet. (Of course, as we’ve seen before, left/libtards can trash anything.)

How do you know they used painter’s tape? Did you personally supervise the installation of every sign?
As for rumor, I was relaying what was reported by WI’s JSOnline. Granted we don’t know the total cost until an expert evaluates the marble.
Spreading rumors? Painter’s tape? You do project too much…

I propose that those organizations that organized the protest pay for the damage for what their mobs of people have done.
If we get into a car accident and do damage to public or private property it is deemed our fault. we are responsible to pay the damage costs of repair.
If we do willful damage to property and it can be proven, we are responsible for the repair. So,,,the organizations that put up the signs and did the damage should pay. There is little to no doubt that it can be proven.

Doncha just love union goons?
These idiots aren’t helping their cause in any way, shape, or form, and the best part is, they are too stoopid to understand that.

“I doubt any of these individuals could even pass the exam that 14 year olds had to pass in 1898, to get into what was know as “teacher’s college”.”
LOL – They would probably faint dead away.
