Why this dog carried a bowl in her mouth

While driving down the street in Turkey, Yusuf Kılıçsarı saw a stray dog walking with a clear purpose, carrying a bowl of food in her mouth.

So Yusuf followed the dog for more than two minutes to see where she was going.

The dog walked past a construction zone into a junkyard. There she set the bowl down for her four puppies, who all appeared to be healthy and plump.

Yusuf exclaimed: “This is motherhood.”

It is heartwarming to see the diligence of this Mama towards her puppies . . . . then my mind wanders to the national spectacle of human mothers by the hundreds of thousands deciding to murder their babies–even up until the very time of their birth. I guess I would rather live with a pack of dogs who treat their offspring in a kindly manner, than to be around individuals who are so vile that they would murder at will.

Those puppies do indeed look well nourished, and excellently cared for. Bless that Mama dog!

Yes, this beautiful dog contrasts very favorably to “mothers” who would murder their own children for the sake of convenience. Thank you for making that point Lulu

I’d take one of the pups but I don’t have a way to get to Turkey. If anyone is headed that way let me know. They look to be well cared for and healthy, and very happy, but they’re in a junkyard in Turkey. So until they are full grown I’ll worry about them. That’s okay, I didn’t have enough to worry about anyway

And good on the person filling the bowl with food for the pups. Perhaps the person is well aware of mom & her pups but just doesn’t have the means to take complete care of them – but is still doing what they can to take care of them.
