  1. Thanks for posting this. It was great!

  2. In this election season, we can expect candidates to use some or many of the following terms. I decided to supply a list of definitions so that you may know what the candidates are talking about even if they do not.
    Anarchy: no government.
    Monarchy: government by a king/queen.
Plutocracy: government by the wealthy, usually by the wealthy for the wealthy.
    Theocracy: government by a church.
Democracy: elected government responsive to its citizens.
Dictatorship: Government by one or a few.
Freedom: no coercion by government, business, unions or church.
Slavery: coercion by government, business, unions or church.
Capitalism: business system where owners of capital run businesses.
    Socialism: government owns businesses.
Fascism: businesses own government. This is the system we have now on the national level and also at the state level in many states.
    Communism (Marxism): socialism and dictatorship.
Mixed economy: socialism and capitalism operating side by side with one trying to dominate the other.
Some of these items are compatible and some cannot be combined. Socialism and democracy and freedom are compatible, while fascism and democracy and freedom are not.

  3. Sometimes I like to think that we’re all on the same team….
red-blooded Americans for truth, justice and freedom ….
but then I’m reawakened to the fact that half of the people in this
country are complicit in it’s destruction and might be happier elsewhere.

  4. No wonder we can’t agree…language barriers abound!

  5. More Progressive Newspeak…
    Hit/strike = Spank
    Openminded = Pro Gay
Fairness = Forced equality through confiscatory policies

  6. Quite true.

  7. I want to move to the highest mountain in tennesse and buy it then fortifie it and dare some one to come on my property. i wonder when u buy a piece of land you pay taxes , then they charge you taxes on lumber, drywall, electrical supplies , roofing supplies, etc. so what gives the goverment the right to charge property tax every yr when we have already payed all these taxes.

  8. Just goes to show uncle sam wants to get richer while we get poorer.
