What could possibly go wrong? AOC says defunding police will call for “experimentation” with public safety

These demorats are very, very dangerous.

Seems that their agenda is more important than the safety of their citizens.

I’m a mad scientist and I’ve been looking for someone with an “Abby Normal” brain to experiment on. This one should do just fine.
BTW those eyes look like the proverbial ‘Black Hole’ sucking in and destroying all that they see.

I personally need no experimenting. I understand completely that our founders’ intent was for the “Second Amendment” to cover all the needs of a free citizenry. Including that of tyranny in government,…or the infiltration of agents of foreign interests, which is now rampant. she being an in our face example.

I would like to be able to say I’m astonished that ANYONE would cast a vote for this knuckle dragging bartender. But knowing the general ignorance of the voting public about civil liberties, American history, and the colossal duplicity of politicians who promise the moon, yet deliver nothing, I truthfully can say I’m not in the least surprised. I would call her a dimwit idiot if the term wouldn’t be a complement to actual mental faculties.

Some abysmally low percentage of her district voted that year…something like 25%. Her smugly “ensconced for years” Republican opponent didn’t even campaign. If anyone else could roust out a higher percentage than that for the next Congressional election (reminding them how she drove out 40000 Amazon jobs from them) she’ll be a “goner.”

PS….even Dems…esp Nasty Pelosi, considered redistricting Occasional -Cortex’s district so it would be absorbed piece-meal by surrounding districts, thus eliminating her election district. Dems wanted to get rid of her b/c she’s a bucking bronco newby (as well as functionally & demonstrably illiterate in US History, US foreign relations, US economics, all of which she was SUPPOSEDLY educated at Boston U…her professor’s need to be slapped….so much for higher ed & probably for affirmative action) & embarrassing, as well as a threat, to the Dem leadership. BUT, it’s been turned around, gradually, as the ancients, Nasty Pelosi & even the… Read more »

Just read that an AOC-type Democrat beat Eliot Engel in his NY district for re-election to the US house, so there goes another old school liberal; he’d been in there like 16 terms, having served with Lincoln… or so I believe. He was a fairly powerful chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Recall, AOC herself beat out a sitting powerful Democrat last election (Crowley served as Chair of the House Democratic Caucus). If Biden wins & sides up w/ these neo-marxists, we’re headed for some painful times, real soon. Then again, I STILL hear the news idiots calling Biden… Read more »

A “bolivarian militia” of leftist supporters with guns? Arming the Black Lives Matter folk? A national police? Enquiring minds want to know…

Yes, there is no guessing at all…one of the above is surely slated to take their place. Once the country lays in utter ruin and chaos, they institute a national police force/stasi. No doubt. That is exactly what ex cop James Lancia said Obama was working on behind the scenes about 6 years ago.But they will have everyone begging for it first.

I just read yesterday that U-Hauls in New York City are all rented out till March of 2021. Looks like people in NYC are voting with their feet, thanks to people like Occasional Cortex.

She says nothing of substance, and THAT VOICE is so damn irritating!!

Mark Twain says it best about her:

LOL Laughing at the Twain quote… her voice? Beyond irritating….worse that a 15 year old valley girl because it is coupled with a void of brain cells and total arrogance. Wish we could put a muzzle on it.

Here’s a recent event of mine. Bank Of America wouldn’t close my 30 day old checking account because they kept asking me, several agents, several times a day, what my Tennessee driver’s license was….clue…I’ve been in Ky. for 12 years and received mortgage statements here for 12 years. Now, several wanted to solve this by sending me a document via smart phone–I don’t have a cell phone at all….shock!!! We are screwing up big time by depending on these gadgets. They wouldn’t use email. So, I tricked them after trying two day, 6/7 times a day. I called the checking… Read more »

I feel your pain. We don’t do ANYTHING financial that requires “gadgets” or communications that are open to hacking. We had our identities stolen 2 yrs. ago and had our acct drained of $10,000 and going into our line of credit and even belonged to LifeLock protection (who did NOT notify us….and then when we notified them…said the vendors to whom our charges were made had 45 days to justify/verify the purchase and THEN we could make a claim….and so when we worked with the bank to clear things up….taking months….the “identity protector” told us that they owed us nothing… Read more »

“Rep. Ocasio-Cortez proves Democrats have no idea what would take the place of police after defunding.” Ah. But they know exactly what they’re doing. Their aim is to tear down the rule of law and destroy the order that created and maintains this great nation (and other parts of the world in similar states of development). It’s as clear as day; they’re trying to destroy the US of A, and in its place leave a sh!thole nation of non-exceptional grunts, all dependent upon the government to tell them what to do and how to live their lives — as mere… Read more »

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a lesson to all of us what happens when we don’t vote.

In New York’s 14th Congressional District (parts of Queens and the Bronx) 2018 primary election, more than 80% of eligible voters stayed home. Only about 13% of registered Democrats, numbering 27,744, turned out to vote. AOC won by only 4,000 votes.

June should be a wonderful month to vote. Illinois’ primaries are held in March.

The 4,000 votes sounds like a lot to me.

Hard to imagine so few voting. Some think that if *their* favorite candidate isn’t running, why vote at all? But that’s the same as voting FOR the opposing party. Which is worse? I think a vote for the opposing party is worse…

As for Queens and The Bronx being in a single District, that’s also insane. They’re separated by… Manhattan (and the East River)! Can anyone say, “Gerrymandering to get enough votes to win an election”? Yet who do they accuse of doing it more?

Exhibit A: Someone please tell Occasional-Cortex that she’s out of college for some time now (supposedly) & U.S. citizenry are NOT subjects for the mid-term project for her Intro. to Government class.
Exhibit B: OK…I’ll “buy in” as long as the “No Police” experiment starts on her posh D.C. block. It’s also imperative the citizenry be informed of the experiment & exact area encompassed by the “No Police” zone—of course, in the interest of transparency & having a “control group” for the experiment–upon which we can then “norm” our Police/No Police policies thereafter. Can’t wait.

And, I’d add, providing all law-abiding citizens their own firearm (or taser) and concealed (or open) carry permit with which to protect themselves… and the “castle” law would be applicable to one’s own personal space, wherever you go. That should help. 😉

I think the whole “defund the police” verbal vomit is the beginning stages of predictive programming that the police need to be replaced with UN troops or some anti-American force. The planners know that when they drop the hammer to take the country the police will side with the citizenry. What the overtakers need is a police body that doesnt give a sheit about Americans and could kill on site without remorse. Like Lenin’s Cheka, if you didnt bow to his communism the Cheka would slice your gut open, tie your intestine to a tree, and then shoot at your… Read more »

Thank you. Until I read D’Souza’s book “Obama’s America” I did not understand Obama’s FIRST TERM (esp first 100 days) of runaway, jet-speed destruction of our economic recovery, our American treasures (freedom of religion, the sanctity of life, 2nd amendment, freedom from a foreign influence, ie — socialist/fascist decree that you MUST buy something set up & administered by the government or be punished for it by the government—like, Obamacare, punishing taxes, punishing regulations, the diminishment of the USA abroad & at home —“you did not build that—-this is the new normal & you have to accept a smaller piece… Read more »
