California is having a heatwave right now. They are also experiencing blackouts.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti has a solution for that:
It’s almost 3 p.m. Time to turn off major appliances, set the thermostat to 78 degrees (or use a fan instead), turn off excess lights and unplug any appliances you’re not using.

Years of “progressive climate change” policies have destroyed the energy infrastructure and capabilities in California. In their desire to be a leader in renewable energy, the demorats have destroyed the state’s ability to adequately handle “normal” weather events.
When are demorats going to learn that elections have consequences?

And yet nothing, NOTHING can and will convince California Demonrats to vote against their party. Voting Republican is verboten, never to be considered.
I am a Republican here. I think people are getting fed up, but the political machine and numbers strongly support the dems. Plus illegals voting and fraud.
Gosh, we keep voting Democrat and things get worse!

Here in Northeast Nevada,we’re being asked to shut everything off from 4 PM to 8 PM,(the hottest part of the day) to avoid damage to the Grid.(?) So,to save energy,during this time I’m going for a nice long drive in my 6 MPG work truck. LOL-Well,it won’t be too bad-the days here have been averaging 98-102 high temps for the last Month. I FINALLY got a cooler installed about 2 weeks ago,almost too late in the season to use it.
