USS Grayback submarine discovered 75 years later

Great job by the folks at the Lost 52 Project. About their mission:

“Our mission objective is to provide the fullest possible documentation and accounting of these locations for our missing WWII Navy Sailors, their families and the nation. Our mission goes beyond discovery and exploration and includes site surveys, developing complete database on each submarine, enabling community outreach and build education components that will stand the test of time. This includes collecting and preserving memorabilia, artifacts, scanned correspondence, official documentation, oral histories, films and photos that are shared by family members. A total of 52 U.S. Submarines were lost in WWII with 374 officers and 3131 men of the Submarine Force who gave their lives. Currently there have been seven of these “Lost 52” that have been found. Our team has discovered five of those submarines and we are engaging with several organizations who have also made discoveries.”

Now if they would just make public what happened to the USS Liberty in 1967. But being in the submarine service back then too a rare kind of courage

No FUBAR, intentional, with assistance from the White House. LBJ allegedly said, when told that the Liberty had radioed for help, “I want that Goddamn ship on the bottom of the ocean.” At least one of the Israeli pilots, seeing the American flag prominently displayed, refused to attack and flew back to base where he was arrested. Johnson was vile, despicable, highly compromised, owned by the Zionists. There is speculation that he received his orders re: Liberty from Mossad operative Mathilde Krim who was his mistress. One of them anyway. Krim had been a gun runner for the Irgun zio-terrorist… Read more »

I did a post on this, but it COMPLETELY disappeared after WordPress took FOTM down on August 15, 2018. Unlike the vast majority of our posts that I managed to retrieve from our “Draft Posts” folder (even though they had been published before WP’s takedown), the “USS Liberty” post is one of at most 3-4 posts that are irretrievable, gone forever from FOTM’s archives.

I assumed that you must have published posts re: the Liberty, I would have been surprised if you hadn’t. The survivors, if any are still alive, are still under a gag order I believe. It’s a verboten topic, Israel is our “ally” after all. HIV/AIDS is also verboten. Although not as relevant as it was 20-25 years ago, I keep bringing it up because it provides an excellent case study in how TPTB construct “reality” which is then internalized by the general public. If you’re not familiar with it and would like to post something I could point you in… Read more »

“Or I could write something and send it to you, see what you think.”

Yes, please. I assume you know how to reach FOTM via email.

I remember reading FOTM’s article on the USS Liberty. Otherwise, I would not have known anything about it. From there I was prompted to search other articles on the subject. The only conclusion that anyone with half a brain is that this was a travesty. LBJ deserves to spend Eternity in Hell for all the crap he pulled during his political life.

No, even Satan deserves better than that. He’d probably kick LBJ out. A truly detestable personage

My Dad’s cousin went down on a us submarine during WWII. Somehow, there is a remaining uneasiness among the family members . . . not knowing exactly where the sub went down etc. I think this project is absolutely marvelous. God Bless all who are devoted to this project.
