Uniform shirt cut off of police officer after his arrest at police station

The men and women in law enforcement put their lives on the line every day.  I salute the ones that operate within the law.  We like to think police officers are law abiding citizens. Generally speaking, this is true.  But we must remember that police officers are people like you and I.  Fully capable of making  poor decisions.  Fully capable of breaking the law.  But like you and I they are expected to follow the law.  Police officers are not above the law.

Far too many times have we seen someone in law enforcement  commit crimes and never do a day of jail time when caught.  Some never get charged for the crime. Their victims ignored  while key evidence winds up getting “lost”.   None of which stands true when it comes to the Rio Rancho Police Department and how they proceeded with Police Officer Jeffrey Wharton….so far.

Wharton had been with the department since November 2010.  His arrest took place on 2/22/2020.

Albuquerque Police Officer Jeffrey Wharton  learns about a  warrant for his arrest, “the hard way”.

He was a senior officer with the department.  The criminal complaint says he beat his girlfriend to the point to where she required a trip to the hospital.  Besides having multiple injuries on  face and body , it was also discovered that she had  “Brain Bleed”.  Brain Bleed can occur as a result of head trauma.   Part of the incident was captured on a doorbell camera.

Wharton arrived for his shift only to find   Rio Rancho Police officers waiting for him.  He gets taken into custody by detectives of the Rio Rancho Police Department. The video shows Wharton being disarmed and searched.  While in handcuffs his uniform shirt is removed.  Scissors was the tool of choice for this task.

The video shows his arrest, uniform shirt getting cut off and continues  with  Wharton’s arrival and getting booked  into the Sandoval County Detention Center.  His is charged with the following crimes,

  1. Kidnapping (First Degree) (NO Intent to Commit Sex Offense).
  2. Aggravated Battery (great bodily harm) (household member).
  3. Aggravated Battery Against a Household Member (Strangulation or Suffocation).
  4. Aggravated Battery (great bodily harm) (household member).
  5. Tampering with Evidence.
  6. First or Second Degree and Negligent Use of a Deadly Weapon (Unsafe Handling).

Wharton resigned shortly after this arrest and a trial is pending.

Body cam footage from the Rio Rancho Police Department in New Mexico obtained by @Fire And Police Videos.

Remember, Wharton is innocent until proven guilty

Shout out to the Rio Rancho Police Department for their hard work and dedication.  “Thanks for handling business and letting the people know that no one is above the law.”

Respectfully,

Deplorable Patriot

All right, Wharton got what he deserved.

Now when does this happen to all the Democrats and media apparatchiks who hate Donald Trump and his supporters?

It occurs to me that when his EX-girlfriend gets out of the Hospital and is recovered fully,SHE should get to beat the crap outta HIM-with her properly protected,as she WASN’T when he beat her up. Vigilante Justice? Maybe…..
