U.S. embassies push "gay pride" in countries that outlaw homosexual acts

Catholic World News reports, May 14, 2013, that U.S. embassies abroad are preparing to celebrate Gay Pride Month (the correct term is now the more cumbersome “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Month”) in June, even in countries where homosexual behavior is outlawed.
Part of the celebration is the posting of a White House Press Release — Obama’s “Proclamation of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Month” — on the websites of the U.S. embassies.
Author Robert Reilly, who was senior adviser for information strategy to the U.S. Secretary of Defense (2002-2006), points out that in many countries, the U.S. diplomatic pressure for recognition of homosexual partnerships can easily be seen as an attempt to influence internal political affairs—traditionally a taboo in the world of diplomacy. U.S. embassies are also risking the hostility of nations that regard the US as a corrosive cultural influence.
Below are the 76+ countries where homosexual acts are outlawed (source):
1 Algeria
2 Angola
3 Benin
4 Botswana
5 Burundi
6 Cameroon

Two Asian/Middle Eastern countries are listed separately by the ILGA under the heading “Legal status of homosexual acts unclear or uncertain”:

Also in Europe and worth mentioning but not on a list of countries with laws against homosexuality are:

Oh, I’m sure it will. I don’t see South East Asian countries listed. Is that where the administration and their hangers own go for sex trips with Japanese businessmen? I hear child sex is OK there too along with transgender escorts.

Thank you Dr. Eowyn for this interesting post. I pray daily for the king and his regime to be defeated and for the end of this despotic agenda.

What could possibly go wrong with a policy like this?
How about offering ambassador posts to all the public school administrators who promote the LGBT point of view. Make it six figures, with the one stipulation of having to live in muslim majority countries for at least one year.

Wow – nothing like “pride” in one’s country!! I repeat, BO is a spawn from hell. BTW, thanks oooooooooodles for that list. Thank goodness there’s still some common sense somewhere.

It’s nice to see the regime has their priorities in order . Allow their fellow civil servants to be murdered but yet have the time to celebrate ” HUMAN ANOMALIES “…..Go figure !

For some reason, left/libtards are always self-answering their “Why do they hate us?” with “Because we allow private ownership of guns!” when they’re out blaming America first while and offending the rest of the world in our name.

Well its no shock as he, Obama, is gay himself with a trail of dead gay lovers in his past. Hm…
He is an omen.
