And I thought I needed the latest and greatest computer and software to make good pictures.

This is one more simple post. My sister shared it with me. I share it with my friends at Fellowship of the Minds.

  1. This is a beautiful story, and what a beautiful man. Most would not see him as a minister of the gospel, but I do. He is an overcomer.

  2. Thank you, Trail Dust, for bringing us this moving story of a magnificent human spirit. Allow me to editorialize, referring to TD’s post: https://fellowshipoftheminds.com/2014/09/24/making-the-affordable-care-act-more-affordable/:
If Ezekiel Emanuel had his way, 90-year-old Paul Smith should have been dead 15 years ago, at age 75. Even worse, according to Ezekiel’s “philosophy” that measures a human being’s worth solely by the yardstick of utilitarianism, Mr. Smith, who has cerebral palsy from birth, should not have been allowed to live at all. That’s how poisonous Ezekiel is.
(Note: I refuse to call Ezekiel by his last name, Emanuel, which means “God is with us”.)
In contrast, the deeply religious Paul Smith believes in God, and in God having given him his unique artistic gift. Indeed, can’t you see God in Paul Smith and his works of art? Paul Smith is the true Emanuel!

  3. Beautiful, thanks for sharing!!! It surely puts our lives in perspective, doesn’t it???

  5. What a blessing he is! Another example of the beauty of God’s work through man. Thank God he was blessed with life for he was able to be a blessing to others as a result.
