Joan Rivers Drops F-Bomb on Red Carpet: ‘Stop Campaigning’ and ‘Take Care of the F****** Country

Via CNS News: “Actress and comedienne” and plastic surgery addict Joan Rivers dropped the F-bomb on the red carpet at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday night, saying that President Barack Obama and other politicians should “stop campaigning” and “[t]ake care of the f****** country.”
“No. I think President Obama should stop campaigning and take care of the country. I think it’s disgusting that everyone two years out is campaigning already. Take care of the f***ing country,” Rivers told CNSNews.com when asked if President Obama has lived up to her expectations.
When asked what issues she thinks Obama has not addressed, Rivers said, “It’s not him. It’s all of them. It’s all of them. We’re bankrupting this country over three wars that we should–it’s just ridiculous and you know it and I know it. I don’t want to get into it. I’m an actor. I’m not a politician.” Rivers also said actors should stay out of politics.
“Actors should act. Politicians should do politics. Very often actors–actors should do what we should do. I think we are so influential in our thoughts that I think you have to be careful before you come in half-baked,” she said.
So you think you are “so influential in our thoughts”? Yep, that’s why you said Sarah Palin was stupid – guess you should have been more careful before you came in “half-baked”. You are correct in that President Obama is bankrupting this country (wow, you’re a genius!!) yet you fit the description of a typical left-wing, Hollyweird liberal that is full of themself.  As you said Joan Rivers, “Actors should act.” Trying acting like an adult even as your refuse to grow old.

  1. Good retort, Debbie! Rivers is one of those “entertainers” whose plastic face and voice make me ill. I can’t watch her anymore, but immediately switch stations.

I’m trying to understand why she went to the correspondents dinner if she didn’t want to discuss politics.

In what universe is Joan Rivers considered an “actor”? I’m in my 60s and I remember watching her comedy routine on the Ed Sullivan show when I was in grade school. She must be close to 90 years old by now!

Joan Rivers has a mouth that is foul, classless, coarse, and she is downright nasty against “Jews For Jesus”. There are not many Hellywood stars or comedians that are respectable. Matt Damon is one that gets under my skin. He states his I.Q. is high, but he is just another unwise narcissist. I like the “one liner” that says: Television is very educational; every time someone turns on the tv, I read a book. Leeann…….
