Third World countries want more than $100B a year in "climate change" reparations

green-nazis
This is insanity.
USA Today reports, Sept. 12, 2015, that preparatory talks ahead of the UN Conference on Climate Change to be held in Paris in December has representatives from developing nations asking for more than an already agreed upon $100 billion per year for climate change mitigation measures
Third World countries claim that they’re suffering from extreme weather disasters caused by “climate change” — what the greens used to call “global warming” — and they want rich countries like the United States to pay to relocate their populations to safer terrains (climate change refugees) and as reparations for their failure to follow through on aid pledges after weather disasters.
An example of the latter was Cyclone Pam’s devastation of islands in the South Pacific last March. But attention quickly turned to the massive earthquake in Nepal soon thereafter, which left small countries such as the island nation of Vanuatu to manage its own cleanup without much in the way of international assistance.
The poorer countries blame extreme weather-related disasters on climate change stemming from emission polluting countries that have more developed and wealthier economies.
The “gimme” countries want all this to be legally binding as part of the anticipated Paris accord. But the U.S. and the EU are balking.
The U.N. Paris conference aims to reach an international, legally biding agreement on climate change that would reduce greenhouse gas emissions and thwart global temperature rise. A separate agreement will address losses and damages from extreme weather events.
As it stands, the Warsaw Mechanism, adopted in 2013 at the U.N. climate conference in Poland, established a structure to address losses and damages associated with climate change. However that mechanism is due to expire this year when a new climate agreement is reached. Reports indicate a compromise will be sought whereby the Warsaw Mechanism is extended, yet carved out from any legally binding agreement.
Meanwhile, environmental groups are lobbying to make reparations even more punitive by requiring polluting companies in the private sector to pay for extreme weather-related damages.
Property and casualty losses have been a point of contention for years in climate change discussions. How to handle refugee claims is a relatively new issue that comes at a time when Europe is facing a separate refugee crisis of its own, with hordes of people from wartorn countries in the Middle East and North Africa seeking asylum in Europe. Nine civil wars are raging in countries from Pakistan to Nigeria.

Submit your bill to the real people of privilege-Rockefellers, Rothschilds, UK and Dutch royals, etc., they will be glad to pay for all damages and losses.

Wait marble! YOU LEFT OUT all the privileged citizens of Hollywood! I’m SURE they’d be glad to pony-up huge portions of their annual monies raked in from movies/shows/TV serials to off-set the carbon footprints of their communter jets, acred-mansions with, water-guzzling green yards, electricity they use in a year that I don’t use in a decade…gas/guzzling SUV armadas…..all the while tongue-lashing ME and the great middle for “using” resources that will destroy the world in 2 years…or maybe 10 or 100……
THIS IS WHY (I’m shouting now, can you tell?) I DON’T GO TO MOVIES!.

I deserve that keyboard finger-lashing just received, how could I have missed your providers of fine arts. In shame, all I can do is plead ignorance from dwelling on the Atlantic rather than the Pacific. It is a case of many degrees of separation. If, some day soon, you must flee to safety from the land of Brown, et al (many al), the east coast will accept aliens such as yourself gladly. Among many other benefits, once adjusted to us common folk’s ways, you will be able to watch a good football team and enjoy our fine dining on baked… Read more »

dear marble—Born in PA, I then leter grew up as a child of the DelMarVA Peninsula… & was transplanted (against my will, by economic necessity) to the LEFT coast many years ago…(and now held captive by the crappy economy here). I am ONLY sensitive to the “Hollywood Fine Arts” b/c I find them absurd and superfluous (as you do?) My comment was tongue in cheek.

Agenda 21 on steroids…yes, the UN book itself says they want 85% of the world’s population eliminated, not to mention those left will only be allowed to use 2 gallons of water per day. Water is the new gold, watch and see what your local community is doing with water in taxes and bills…they all have plans. Why? Because they’ve all applied for the grants from HUD, DOE, EPA, etc, and money talks. It’s why we can’t get our state legislatures to do what we want them to do…because they’d lose the blackmail money from the feds. And so few… Read more »

The Federal Government has become the biggest junkie of “Pay-Off” money in the world. To get the states to “go with” the “common core” school curriculum, the states would lose there “star” money if they did not, AND they got a handsome amount of “bribe” funds if they did. Only ONE state told the feds to “shove it”. That was Texas. It’s time we (all the states) followed suit and just told the Feds what to do with all their “bribes”. All the money the states get from the feds ALWAYS comes at too high a price.

Lord Monckton has a great phrasing he uses for the green extortionists; he calls it the “traffic light” explanation. Quote, “They call themselves green because they are too yellow to admit they are red.”

“But the U.S. and the EU are balking.” I’m sure Obama will happily agree to it. He’s on his way out and the Iran deal wasn’t enough damage to the world. He’s gonna sell us out, I’m sure.

If they’re counting on the ES to bail them out, they should begin thinking what they’d do WITHOUT the US,because if this stupid crap doesn’t stop, that’s a very real possibility.

I would suggest they stop standing around pissing in their drinking water and go after their corrupt politicians that have stolen their money and tucked it away in foreign bank accounts.

This is nothing more than those countries way to get more money to line their own pockets. NOT ONE DIME of the money they ALREADY get, goes to helping their people (Mexico for example). It goes to line the pockets of all the government “insiders”, and that’s it. I would fall down faint if even 1 dollar in 1000 gets to actually assist people in 3rd world countries.

And Israel has quietly found a way to take CO2 from the air and turn it into fuel. They also have proven desalination can be cost effective and provide drought-ridden areas with water (ex; California). So why does everyone (UN) hate this little country and want to destroy it? Maybe it’s true that the UN’s idea isn’t to save lives, but to kill off a large part of the world’s population.

Right, like these countries have never had it better over the centuries. They now have vaccines, disease prevention, water, and food sources and ways of making a living that they never had before.
This is about knowing we have no leadership and and a gullible leader that is willing to give our country away.
