The Strange Case of Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe
The mysterious death of the ultimate blonde bombshell, Marilyn Monroe, has always been linked to either John or Robert Kennedy by conspiracy theorists. LA coroner, Thomas Noguchi officially pronounced it a suicide from drug overdose although no trace of drugs was found in her digestive system and no needle punctures were found on her body.

In today’s Daily Mail, is an account of the the FBI’s release of some files documenting her connections with known Communist agents that they kept on her from the mid-1950s to her untimely death in 1962.
Hill Street Blues actress, Veronica Hamel’s bio on the Internet Movie Database, provides more documentation of the FBI’s surveillance of Marilyn Monroe:

In 1972 she (Hamel) and her then husband became the new owners of Marilyn Monroe‘s Brentwood home. They hired a contractor to replace the roof and remodel the house, and the contractor discovered a sophisticated eavesdropping and telephone tapping system that covered every room in the house. The components were not commercially available in 1962, but were–in the words of a retired Justice Department official–“standard FBI issue.” This discovery lent further support to claims of conspiracy theorists that Marilyn had been under surveillance by the Kennedys and the Mafia. The new owners spent $100,000 to remove the bugging devices from the house.

American Deception-Marilyn Monroe File

The website has the out-of-print 1964 book in pdf format, “The Strange Death of Marilyn Monroe,” by former police detective turned private investigator,  Frank A. Capell.   His investigation results published two years after her death document that her medical doctor, psychiatrist, personal assisstant and housekeeper all had communist party ties going back decades! (It reminded me of the “Sleepers” described by former soviet agent, Yuri Bezmenov, in the “Sleepers and Messiahs” post. )    The Capell book convinced me that she was most definitely murdered and the communists who comprised her inner-circle were involved in the crime and coverup.

  1. Thanks lowtechgrannie for this piece,
Her death remains an unanswered mystery, along with a few others from that time.

    • You’re welcome, TD! The book is really interesting because he’s published the photographs of all the evidence he collected as a trained investigator. There’s convincing evidence that she was not financially broke and despondent over failed love affairs with the Kennedys. Instead, her financial affairs were in good order and she was enthusiastically involved with future projects that would have been very lucrative if she’d lived to carry them out.

  2. Monroe’s “medical doctor, psychiatrist, personal assistant and housekeeper all had communist party ties going back decades”
What’s the probability of that occurring by sheer chance alone? How about 0%?

    • I read coroner, Thomas Noguchi’s book “Coroner” many years ago. In addition to the Marilyn Monroe case, he did the Robert Kennedy autopsy. As I recall, he said the “kill shot” of Bobby Kennedy came from behind, it entered his head from the back of the ear. Sirhan Sirhan, who was convicted of the murder, came at Kennedy face to face. There is no way the shot fired by Sirhan could have been the “kill shot” that ended Bobby Kennedy’s life. There had to be a 2nd shooter who stood somewhere behind Bobby to account for the trajectory of that fatal bullet. It happened in the kitchen of the Ambassador Hotel after a speech. Kennedy’s bodyguards were provided by the FBI.

  3. Thank you grannie for this intriguing post. It makes you wonder what her agenda entailed, given that she lived in a home full of Communists. Amazing.

  4. If this was true, why was the FBI so sloppy? Why didn’t they go in after her murder and take out all of the eavesdropping devices that would obviously connect them to her life? Something is still very fishy about this case…

    • The FBI just released some of their files so their surveillance is not in question. I agree, something is very fishy about the “suicide”.

  5. SIDE QUESTION, I wonder why there are no investigative stories on the American Deception site regarding Islam?

    • If you check the files on the American Deception website, you’ll see that for the most part it is an archive of historical files dealing with the rise and propagation of soviet-style communism and documentation of the planned decline of education in America through behavioral psychology and soviet-style education methods to install a planned economy. Where does “Islam” fit in? It doesn’t.

  6. The circumstances surrounding the death of Moroe might be mysterious but believing that she committed suicide would be wrong. The evidences and testimonies that have come up show a foul play behind her death.

  7. She knew way too much . That’s why she was eliminated ……” Loose lips sink ships “………………….Rumor has it that she was an MK sex slave ..It would explain a lot with J.F.K. wanting to dissolve the c.i.a , make real money , get out of Viet Nam , put a dagger in the Fed. Get dirt on him , get dirt on her ……….j.m.o.
