Muslim girl, 19, ‘stoned to death after taking part in beauty contest’

Commit perceived adultery? You’ll be lashed to death. Become too “Westernized”? You’ll get run over. Participate in a beauty contest? You’ll be stoned to death. Via The DailyMail:
A teenage Muslim girl was stoned to death under ‘Sharia law’ after taking part in a beauty contest in Ukraine. Katya Koren, 19, was found dead in a village in the Crimea region near her home. Friends said she liked wearing fashionable clothes and had come seventh in a beauty contest. Her battered body was buried in a forest and was found a week after she disappeared.
Police have opened a murder probe and are investigating claims that three Muslim youths killed her claiming her death was justified under Islam. One of the three – named as 16-year-old Bihal Gaziev – is under arrest and told police she had ‘violated the laws of Sharia’. Gaziev said he had no regrets about her death because she had violated the laws of Islam.
The “Religion of Peace” should be ashamed for the beheading, raping, and murdering that is encouraged/allowed under their barbaric laws.

  1. Savages. (Oh, was that politically-incorrect of me? Heck, yeah!)

  2. This is Lone Wolf, sorry for being away. Those who would try to control got at me so I’ve taken a long way around. The religion of peace? Well what can we say, same old, same old, same old… Obama won over the gullible with all his sugary speeches in Ireland. To quote Davy Crockett: “Soft soap is only good for washing dirty hands”. God bless all you like minded in USA.

    • Lone !!!!
      It’s you !!!!
I’ve missed you. Are you alright over there in the Emerald Isle? Were you blocked from accessing this blog???
      God bless you. 🙂

  3. You bet I was blogged out. Something kept crashing this site on me and I believe it was coming from USA. Not you guys but I’m sure someone sinister was accessing my work. Some of my writings and short stories disappeared off my Word 2010. Everytime I was about to post a comment everything vanished. Big Brother is watching us all. It’s good to be back. Missed you all. At all times you have all been in my prayers! Everything is fine here but the weather is awful. Obama said : “I came here to find where the apostrophe from my name went”. They lapped it all up my fellow countrymen. A woman was locked in her home in OBs ancestral village(?) because she refused to paint her home for his visit! Oh yeah he flew over my house. I was afraid he might s”@% on me if he read any of my blogs. Take care and God bless you all. Talk to y’all soon.

  4. The poor women in the Islam world have no rights at all. It makes me sick to know what they have to go through. The Islam men are nothing but savage animals.

  5. I just came across this blog and all of you are so misguided. I’m sorry. I am not a muslim, but i have learnt about Islam and can tell you that Stoning to death or judging anyone because of their actions is completely wrong. The whole concept of the ‘Shariah law’ is something people have made up. This is why Islam focuses on following the Quran as it is unchanged. If you read the Quran you will find that many things make sense in context and the Shariah law or stoning are not even mentioned. God is our judge. Peace.

    • Jenna- There are few, if any here who are misguided to what the Quran states as it’s implementation of brutal and sometimes fatal consequences of not following it to the letter. As does what Mohammad states are to be implemented if not followed. Your attempt at twisting the Quran’s meaning and it’s implementations are futile, here. These things ARE happening, and it is not made up. In relating to how some will take things out of their proper context…I, can; as I am a christian, and am quite accustomed to people taking God’s Word out of context with regularity. But, IMO, Jenna, you are the one being mislead, and you ARE wearing a veil..even if it is a veil of deceit, placed there by yourself, or by those who would have you believe the statements you have put forth here. ~peace~

  6. I have also learnt that Islam doesn’t encourage sexism and women are as free as men. Although Islam encourages modesty when it comes to women dressing a certain way the Quran also states ‘there is no compulsion in religion’. A woman is encouraged to cover and dress modestly. A thousand years ago, in Arabia women were not treated equally and Islamic sources suggested they cover completely (the veil) because violent misguided men believed they had some sort of right to rape women and capture them. The Quran also spoke against such men. People are misusing the fact that the Quran was revealed at a time of chaotic behavior as a form of guidance. For example, men would bury their daughters alive and women were raped etc. I believe that in a society today were women FINALLY have equal rights to men, we are able to dress the way we want as we are in no harm. But our innate logic suggests, that the more loosely we dress the higher the chances are of men being interested in you simply because of your body. (Not implying that this is always the case). All I’m saying is dress appropriately depending on your surroundings and if you know you are safe (which we often are in broad daylight in a ‘civilized country’ of the 21s century) then, dress the way you wish. The revelation of the Quran meant that civilization was at its peak in one book when barbaric behavior was freely practiced. Peace!

    • Judging anyone because of their actions is completely wrong? Guess it was wrong of us to judge Hitler…
Sharia Law is something completely made up? Riiiight….tell that to the thousands of women and homosexuals persecuted for their actions.
Women are as free as men? Then why does Saudi Arabia have a ban on women driving? Tell me, have you been to the Middle East and experienced the freedoms women have over their? If not, I suggest you go live there and then get back to me, detailing all their “freedoms”.

  7. Before you go judging 1 billion people on the basis of an article which merely seeks to create and widen a dialectic between cultures, you might want to look at how the Daily Mail ‘corrected’ there analysis:

  8. Hi Jenna,
I believe u havent yet come across a sharia practising nation. Whatever u might say, the REALITY is hundreds of women, men and people with different views r tortured, executed and condemned in the name of sharia. THIS is the sad REALITY. First try to see this reality rather than giving idealistic sermons.
