This summer, Philips and director/producer Ridley Scott launched a global filmmaking competition dubbed “Tell It Your Way” following its Cannes Lions award-winning short-film project “Parallel Lines.”
The entrants were given freedom of expression and could take up any theme they wanted. There were two strict rules:

  • The dialogue must not exceed 6 lines; and
  • Entries could not exceed 3 minutes.

Here’s the prize-winning entry:

“Love one another, even as I have loved you.” ~John 13:34

  3. If you are touched by this clip you may enjoy reading Sarah’s Key or The Book Thief. When the tragedy of the Holocause holds poignancy and horror in your soul than there is hope for humanity.

  4. There is one mistake in the film. The cigarettes in the ashtray have tips!
