  1. I am so sad for this nation.

  2. To quote my late husband: “I’m glad I’m as old as I am!” My heart goes out to our young people today. Again to quote my late husband, “We lived in the best of times.” How true, and we didn’t appreciate it enough. God bless all our young people!

  3. I am getting so tired of how everyone these days seems to talk the same way. Cali-Valley inflection, vocal burn, up talking, a bit nasally, no regional differences. Has anyone else noticed this?
Don’t mean to be off-topic, but it just seems everyone is being taken over by the same vocal disease, nationwide. So much for “diversity.”

    • I only made it through about half the video, because I couldn’t listen to it anymore, and that includes the gal doing the interview.
      Be yourselves!

    • Miche – I cannot view the video because I’m at work and it’s blocked, but I agree 100% with what you wrote about the way people talk these days! I cannot watch HGTV or the Food Network anymore because everyone on there uptalks. Instead of making a statement, they sound like they’re asking a question. And I work with a middle-aged woman who not only uptalks but talks like an aging pot-head hippie–which she is not. Every day I have to listen to her narrate everything she does or her conversations with others (I try to avoid speaking with her because it’s too mentally draining). Repeatedly throughout the day I hear her say things like, “Yeah…wow…like, I mailed this letter out and…it’s so bizarre…know what I mean…but it’s so weird…I noticed I spelled Philadelphia wrong…like, what kind of idiot does that…just crazy stuff…know what I mean.” She uses 50 words to say what could be said in 10 words or less! It sounds so unprofessional, unintelligent, and not very eloquent.

  4. Glad I’m ;getting into the “older” generation. If the US survives much longer, it won’t be because of our younger generation. It IS good to see a few people are aware of what’s going on, though. But, a few isn’t enough when groups like ISIS and all the muslims who take life much more seriously than this generation of weaklings.

  5. Reblogged this on patrioticgofer and commented:
