Why do conservative founders of businesses insist on leaving their companies to their “woke” children who then proceed to turn the businesses towards the left and worse? See, for example:
- The mask comes off: Chick-fil-A donates to anti-Christian, pro-abort, LGBT organizations
- Chick-fil-A CEO and son of founder ‘shines’ shoes of black rapper; says whites must repent for their racism
- Walmart to ban open carry, stop selling handgun ammo & wants more gun control
- Walmart goes queer with gay dating video ad
- Walmart, Amazon and Target are selling book for children as young as 5 to summon demons
The latest is Kathryn Murdoch, 47, the daughter-in-law of Fox Corporation’s founder Rupert Murdoch, 89. Kathryn is married to one of Murdoch’s son, James.
Fox Corporation is partly owned by the Murdoch family via a family trust with 39% interest.
On November 7, shortly after the media declared Joe Biden to have won the still-contested 2020 presidential election, Kathryn Murdoch exultantly tweeted: “We did it!!!!”
The UK Daily Mail reports that Kathryn also shared posts referencing “Trump’s authoritarian antics” and that she agreed with a tweet by fakenews CNN host Jake Tapper that the Murdochs must acknowledge there is no evidence of vote fraud.
President Trump is said to have called Rupert Murdoch in a fury on election night after Fox News was the first to call Arizona for Biden.
A source told Vanity Fair that Trump phoned Murdoch “to scream about the call and demand a rretraction” and that Rupert refused to order his staff to retract the Arizona call.
Peter Maas of The Intercept reports on a “behind-the-struggle” within Fox Corporation:
[Kathryn Murdoch’s] sentiments appeared to have support within the family, because their media holdings — not just Fox News — began sending out clear signals to President Trump that he should accept defeat. On Friday evening, the Wall Street Journal’s editorial page skeptically noted that the Trump campaign “will have to prove” its baseless claims of election fraud, and advised the president to be ready to “concede gracefully.” The article’s headline was “The Presidential Endgame.” On Fox News last night, primetime host Laura Ingraham, a guest at the White House just a few days ago, said the president should exhibit “grace and composure” when the moment comes to admit defeat, which she seemed to feel was coming soon. A graphic displayed during her show stated that one of the three tasks ahead is to “Accept the Results of the Election.” Finally, the front-page headline of Saturday morning’s New York Post seemed to mark a clear turn from the Trump era, blaring out, “Ready, Set… Joe?”….
In recent years, she and James have not hidden their political preferences: They made significant donations to the campaigns of Pete Buttigieg and later, Joe Biden, once he became the Democratic Party nominee.
For now, RRupertMurdoch remains the chairman of Fox Corporation, while his eldest son Lachlan, described to be conservative, is CEO.
