TEA Party Kicks RINO butts

Yesterday, TEA Party candidates won two GOP primary elections over mainstream Republicans RINOs, demonstrating again the clout of America’s new conservative political movement [Source]:

  • In New York, conservative Carl Paladino defeated Rick Lazio in the Republican gubernatorial primary to set up a November showdown with Democrat Andrew Cuomo, the son of former Gov. Mario Cuomo.
  • In Delaware, conservative political commentator Christine O’Donnell easily defeated (53%) 9-time U.S. Rep. Mike Castle who was backed by the national Republican Party. O’Donnell received the endorsement of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as well as $150,000 in late funding from the Tea Party Express.
  • In New Hampshire, it’s still too close to call between conservative candidate Ovide Lamontagne vs. former state Attorney General Kelly Ayotte, the candidate favored by establishment Republicans. The winner will run in November to succeed retiring Republican Sen. Judd Gregg.

But this is how Yahoo portrays the TEA Party victories:

“Tea party victory endangers GOP’s goal of retaking the Senate!”

Conservative candidates need our help. A top Republican official told CNN last night that O’Donnell will have to show she can generate viable support before the national party will give her money. So it’s up to us conservatives to help O’Donnell defeat Democrat Christopher Coons, the New Castle County Executive, in November for the seat formerly held by Vice President Joe Biden! VOTE CONSERVATIVE on November 2!

The Republican Party is suffering a little indignation over O’Donnell’s victory. They need to get over it. Her win already demonstrates the support that official is looking for. They really have no choice to support her at this point – she IS the candidate now. Otherwise the party is just shooting itself in the foot.

Yes, I saw Rove on Hannity last night. I’m done w/him as well now. He and the NRSC were totally bashed last night on twitter. See that NRSC is now supporting her. The GOP is maybe getting it but it’s going to take a better leader than Steele for them to accept what we the people want IMO…

I saw Christine O’Donnell at a tea party in Delaware last week. She seemed very poised and well spoken. I attended the rally even though I live in a neighboring state . I wanted to provide support in addition to my desire to hear and see the individuals who have been traveling all over the country. The tea party encompasses patriotism and faith. There is a quest for values, principles and honor. Participants demonstrate an unwavering support for our servicemen and women. Love of country enfolds us as we sing God Bless America and the Star Spangled Banner. We join… Read more »
