Your Monday funny…

OK, even I laughed at this. And I’m facing a similar situation as my military boyfriend (finally stateside!) is in self-quarantine. We are communicating by phone while he sits in the car on the street and me on the front porch. At least we can see each other 🙂

A tweet joke from The General:

“A week into isolation it’s upsetting for me to see my wife at the living room window staring aimlessly into space w/tears running down her cheeks. It breaks my heart to see her this way. I’ve thought of how I can cheer her up so I’ve considered letting her in but rules are rules.”

Suicides outpacing Wuhan virus deaths in Knox County, Tennessee

This will come as no surprise, except maybe to the bureaucrats and “experts.”

Shutting down one’s livelihood and the economic machine that drives EVERYTHING for EVERYONE has consequences. A severe economic depression is about to hit this country due to governments shutting everything down to try and “save” all of us.

The reality of a “shelter in place” has already started in Tennessee. 10News reports the following: “Knox Co. seeing an increase in suspected suicides during coronavirus pandemic.”

The byline: “Mayor Glenn Jacobs said he was shocked and it made him wonder if they were handling this the right way.”

Some details from the article:

Knox County is seeing a disturbing trend in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

Mayor Glenn Jacobs said on Friday that the Regional Forensic Center examined nine suspected suicide cases – eight of which are from within Knox County – in the past 48 hours alone.

That’s 10 percent of the total number of suicides from all of last year, when there were 199 confirmed or suspected suicides from across the region and 83 in Knox County.

“That number is completely shocking and makes me wonder if what we are doing now is really the best approach,” Mayor Jacobs said. “We have to determine how we can respond to COVID-19 in a way that keeps our economy intact, keeps people employed and empowers them with a feeling of hope and optimism – not desperation and despair.”

The director of the Knox County Health Department was visually emotional at the daily press conference Friday as she spoke about these sobering numbers.

“Now, more than ever, we need to be kinder and gentler with ourselves and with each other,” Dr. Martha Buchanan said. “If you are struggling, I encourage you to reach out. Reach out to your pastor, a friend, call the hotlines.”

She said she knows the decisions Knox County leaders have made to stop the spread of the coronavirus are hard, and the people who have made the decisions are struggling with that. But she emphasized these are the decisions that will keep people safe and stop the spread of coronavirus.

I’m no economic genius, unlike Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, yet anyone with a functioning brain could have told you that shutting down our economic machine would and WILL have a major impact on the health of millions of Americans.

Yet we are to assume that this shutdown, according to the bureaucrats, will “keep people safe.”

“Safe” while unemployed, broke and unable to pay your mortgage/rent and bills or feed your family is not a way to go through life.

I leave you with the words from this tweet I read:

Everyone making decisions about every American’s earning power, job and business has a fat, full-time, guaranteed, salaried paycheck and they’ll get paid no matter what. They are CLUELESS about the consequences of a shut-down for average Americans. Worse, they don’t give a damn.”

WHO is incompetent by design?

As you know, the World Health Organization (WHO) is an agency of the useless United Nations. Completely useless, both of them in my opinion.

China has LIED to WHO and they, in turn, have LIED to the world:

I’ve seen many theories online as to how China controls WHO. See an example on Twitchy here.

Make no doubt about it: China OWNS this worldwide pandemic. Yet they are given a pass by WHO and the demorat-run U.S. media. All because OrangeManBad.

Shameful and tragic. And SHAME ON WHO.

If there’s any justice, China MUST PAY for lying to all of us, by design.

Good grief, what is happening to Madonna’s face?

Screenshot from the video:

Apparently Madonna had someone film her in a bathtub going on with her “deep thoughts” about the Wuhan virus. Her whole message is that the virus “doesn’t discriminate.”

Carpe Donktum fixed Madonna’s video. Except he couldn’t fix her face. My goodness, what is happening? WAY too much Botox, fillers and God only knows what else.

YIKES this is frightening!

Is Covid-19 man made and released from a Wuhan lab? Evidence of genome editing

I’ve been seeing a lot of the same story being told by various media outlets.  All  pushing the same  narrative, “scientists confirm Covid19 is not a manmade bioweapon”.  It’s only fair that I show the other side of the argument.

There is a scientist that says covid-19 is man made and was released from Wuhan lab.  The story was first published on March 2. 2020.

A Taiwanese scientist has claimed Chinese microbiologists probably created coronavirus in Wuhan, China.

Based on the virus unusual structure it is most likely “man made” and there is a theory coronavirus was somehow leaked or released from the Institute of Virology in Wuhan China, said Professor Fang Chi-tai from the National Taiwan University (NTU).

Professor Fang said China’s track record with safety standards and laboratory management has been questioned in the past.

The Professor claims it was very possible that the Wuhan Chinese scientists created the deadly virus by simply adding four amino acids to an existing bat virus, which therefore makes it much easier to transmit to people.

Professor Fang added, “The mutations found in the novel coronavirus are unusual in an academic sense.

“It is indeed possible that it is a man-made product.

“From an academic point of view, it is indeed possible that the amino acids were added to COVID-19 in the lab by humans.”

I should point out that Wuhan has the Wuhan Institute of Virology. It’s a level 4 laboratory that was used to store, handle and research samples of SARS, Ebola and other deadly infectious viruses. Fang mentioned the possibility of the virus being leaked from there due to gross mismanagement.  Fang also said,

Analyses of the Covid-19 virus have shown that it had a 96% genetic similarity with an RaTG13 bat virus also stored at the institute, and that the Covid-19 could be “manufactured” by modifying the RaTG13 virus.

French researchers had discovered four more amino acids in the gene sequence of Covid-19 than other known coronaviruses, which could be added artificially to make the viral transmission easier.

The following was also mentioned,

In February Chinese scientist announced the true cause of the spread of coronavirus, who broke cover and said the oubreak started in a science laboratory in Wuhan yards away from a wet market.

A scientist told how a sick bat attacked the researchers and bled on them and urinated on another, they were then forced to quarantine themselves for 14 days.

Biologists Botao Xiao and Lei Xiao published a pre-print entitled “The possible origins of 2019-nCoV coronavirus.”

The report describes how “the killer coronavirus probably originated from a laboratory in Wuhan.

“We noted two laboratories conducting research on bat coronavirus in Wuhan, one of which was only 280 metres from the seafood market.

“We briefly examined the histories of the laboratories and proposed that the coronavirus probably originated from a laboratory.

Evidence for RNA editing in the transcriptome of 2019 Novel Coronavirus

For additional evidence of human influence in  the Coronavirus, I’ve provided a link to a PDF file titled  “Evidence for RNA editing in the transcriptome of 2019 Novel Coronavirus”.

It comes from bioRxiv.  You won’t hear anything about this in main stream news.  I’ve seen 1 article and it was an attempt to debunk the discovery by accusing the scientists of running a “shabby operation”.   Still, the critic never said the discovery was inaccurate.

The 2019-nCoV outbreak has become a global health risk. Editing by host deaminases is an innate
15 restriction process to counter viruses, and it is not yet known whether it operates against
coronaviruses. Here we analyze RNA sequences from bronchoalveolar lavage fluids derived from
two Wuhan patients. We identify nucleotide changes that may be signatures of RNA editing:
Adenosine-to-Inosine changes from ADAR deaminases and Cytosine-to-Uracil changes from
APOBEC ones. A mutational analysis of genomes from different strains of human-hosted
Coronaviridae reveals patterns similar to the RNA editing pattern observed in the 2019-nCoV
transcriptomes. Our results suggest that both APOBECs and ADARs are involved in Coronavirus
genome editing, a process that may shape the fate of both virus and patient.

The scientist behind this discovery are Salvatore Di Giorgio, Filippo Martignano, Maria Gabriella Torcia, Giorgio Mattiuz, Silvestro G. Conticello.

The U.S. Wuhan virus models have been way off target

Sean Davis from The Federalist tweeted some very interesting stuff yesterday morning about the Wuhan virus models and the expected impact on our country. And what do you know, the models were not that accurate. But the panic WAS real.

Here’s his tweet thread of actual statistics:

State and local governments are being panicked into horrific decision-making by garbage models that have already been proven to be wildly wrong. Here’s what Covid Act Now predicted for TN by March 19: 190 hospitalizations. There were actually 15.

“Covid Act Now claimed nearly 5,400 New Yorkers would’ve been hospitalized by March 19. The real number? Approximately 750. They claimed nearly 13,000 hospitalizations by March 23. The actual number was around 2,500.

“Covid Act Now predicted that Georgia would have 688 hospitalizations by March 23. The state only had 800 total confirmed cases.

“In Florida, Covid Act Now predicted over 400 hospitalizations as of March 19. According to the governor, that number was 90.

“Covid Act Now predicted that 127 people in Oklahoma would be hospitalized by March 23 because of the Wuhan virus. As of yesterday, the entire state only had 81 confirmed cases.

“According to Covid Act Now, Virginia was supposed to have hospitalized 342 Wuhan virus sufferers by March 23. As of an hour ago, there were 290 confirmed cases in the entire state, of which 45 were hospitalized. Starting to discern a pattern yet with these apocalyptic models?”

Here in our small town in Oklahoma, one of the hospitals has a drive-through testing set up for those who have symptoms of a high fever and cough. The first day there was a line of cars, from the picture I saw in the news. Since then, I’ve driven by it several times and have not seen ONE car in line.

Great job, “experts.”

Some random thoughts about the rush to shutdown so many businesses in this country

Today at work since I had nothing to do, I started thinking about this pandemic and how quick it has been for local and state governments to shut down our economy and our freedoms.

(Side note: Our city building is closed to the public so it’s just employees. My boss is doing the AM shift and I’m working my regular afternoon shift so we aren’t in the office together. We are practicing that “social distancing.”)

Why is it NOW that we have had such a dramatic reaction to the Wuhan virus? Is it really going to be much worse than SARS, MERS or any other virus we’ve faced throughout the world? Are we going to end up with thousands of deaths like Italy? Has the media hysteria frightened people to panic?

I guess the “experts” know best by ordering “shelter in place” and the shutdown of thousands and thousands of businesses. Why can’t we just quarantine the most vulnerable (except the homeless and inmates, of course), postpone large public gatherings, and recommend some higher level of hygiene?

It is understandable that we need to be aware of the public’s safety and control this virus yet are we not a country with inherent freedoms such as economic pursuit and that of movement?

There’s risk and reward for living a life of freedom and I’m wondering if the risk of shutting down our economy is worth more than the anticipated reward (“flattening the curve”).

In America, you are free to pursue the job of your dreams or start your own business. Imagine the government comes in and demands to shut down your employer or business for public safety. You are now forcibly being robbed of your economic freedoms. Does that not make you some form of an economic slave of the government?

You can’t shut down businesses and expect them to re-open with their regular customers. Those customers have now lost their jobs and will not have any disposable income to spend once the economy is back open for business. That “social distancing” will be long gone when unemployment has reached massive levels.

The “shelter in place” order also has an effect on our freedom to move throughout this country. What will be the psychological and future effects on our interpretation of “freedom of movement” when this finally comes to an end? How many people will suffer depression during their self quarantine and end up costing thousands in the medical field or commit suicide?

I also believe this reaction sets a bad example for our enemies who want to inflict some form of bioterrorism upon us. They now know how easy it would be to cause a panic and economic shutdown of this country. Just. Like. That.

Just some of my random thoughts. There are many differing opinions as to how best to handle this and I am no expert on this, by any means. I just have a terrible feeling that the coming economic result of this is going to be devastating for many, many Americans. Only time will tell if the reaction offered more reward than risk.

Wuhan Coronavirus Madness and Funnies!

Madness or Funny? You decide!

In the Iranian city of Qom, a Muslim cleric named Ayatollah Tabrizian denounced Western medicine and suggested alternative methods to combat the Wuhan virus-induced COVID-19 respiratory disease.

Along with combing your hair thoroughly, consuming copious amounts of brown sugar, burning wild rue, and  inhaling snuff, Ayatollah Tabrizian suggested the novel technique of smearing violet leaf oil on one’s anus. He posted this on the social messaging service Telegram (source: The New Arab):

“Before bedtime, drench some cotton in violet oil and apply onto your anus”

In India, a Hindu group hosted a cow-urine drinking party on Saturday to ward off the Wuhan virus in the belief that cow pee has magical medicinal properties because Hindus consider cows to be sacred. (Daily Mail)

Meanwhile, in the United States, last Thursday afternoon (March 12) in a jam-packed Sam’s Club of panicked shoppers in metro Atlanta, Georgia, a fight broke out when a man in a motorized shopping cart bumped into the cart pushed by a man and woman.

Motorized-man and cart-man grabbed wine bottles and began hitting each other, which ended in one man being wheeled out of the store on a stretcher. (AJC)

I suggest you lower your volume before clicking on the video below.

On Saturday, March 14, in Oregon, the Newport Police Department asked the public not to call 9-1-1 because they ran out of toilet paper. Below is the Newport PD’s post on Facebook:

It’s hard to believe that we even have to post this. Do not call 9-1-1 just because you ran out of toilet paper. You will survive without our assistance.
In fact, history offers many other options for you in your time of need if you cannot find a roll of your favorite soft, ultra plush two-ply citrus scented tissue. Seamen used old rope and anchor lines soaked in salt water. Ancient Romans used a sea sponge on a stick, also soaked in salt water. We are a coastal town. We have an abundance of salt water available. Sea shells were also used. Mayans used corn cobs. Colonial Americans also used the core of the cob. Farmers not only used corn cobs, but used pages from the Farmers Almanac. Many Americans took advantage of the numerous pages torn from free catalogs such as Sears and Roebuck. The Sears Christmas catalog, four times thicker than the normal catalog, could get a family of three wiped clean from December through Valentine’s Day; or Saint Patrick’s Day if they were frugal. Then, of course, there are always alternatives to toilet paper. Grocery receipts, newspaper, cloth rags, lace, cotton balls, and that empty toilet paper roll sitting on the holder right now. Plus, there are a variety of leaves you can safely use. Mother Earth News magazine will even tell you how to make your own wipes using fifteen different leaves. When all else fails, you have magazine pages. Start saving those catalogs you get in the mail that you usually toss into the recycle bin.
Be resourceful. Be patient. There is a TP shortage. This too shall pass. Just don’t call 9-1-1. We cannot bring you toilet paper.

Meanwhile, back in Iran, the epicenter of the pandemic in the Middle East, yesterday the government reported 113 new Wuhan coronavirus deaths, the country’s biggest single-day jump in fatalities since the outbreak began, bringing the death toll to 724, and confirmed COVID-19 cases to nearly 14,000. There are reasons to suspect the actual number of infections in Iran is much higher.

But as countries across Europe, the latest being Germany, close their borders to contain the Wuhan virus, President Hassan Rouhani of Iran ruled out a general quarantine and said the government was working to keep open the country’s borders. (Fox News)

President Trump declares today a National Day of Prayer; tested negative for Wuhan coronavirus

Romans 5:1-2, 5-8

Brothers and sisters:
Since we have been justified by faith,
we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
through whom we have gained access by faith
to this grace in which we stand,
and we boast in hope of the glory of God.

And hope does not disappoint,
because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts
through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
For Christ, while we were still helpless,
died at the appointed time for the ungodly.
Indeed, only with difficulty does one die for a just person,
though perhaps for a good person one might even find courage to die.
But God proves his love for us
in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.

President Trump has declared today, Sunday, March 15, 2020, to be a National Day of Prayer. Here is his tweet:

It is my great honor to declare Sunday, March 15th as a National Day of Prayer. We are a Country that, throughout our history, has looked to God for protection and strength in times like these.

No matter where you may be, I encourage you to turn towards prayer in an act of faith. Together, we will easily PREVAIL!

On Friday, March 13, President Trump also declared a national state of emergency due to the Wuhan coronavirus-induced respiratory illness, COVID-19.

In so doing, Trump has freed up to $50 billion in federal funding to federal, state and local governments attempting to combat COVID-19, as well as enabling the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to mobilize personnel more quickly to help state and local agencies and leaders.

Trump also said and urged the following:

  • Waive interest on federal student loans “until further notice”.
  • The Department of Energy will buy up crude oil for storage in U.S. reserves.
  • States should set up emergency operation centers and hospitals in accordance with active emergency preparedness plans.
  • Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar is given “broad new authority” allowing him to waive various laws and regulations related to hospital operations.
  • U.S. government is partnering with private companies to increase Wuhan virus testing capabilities.
  • Trump administration is working to set up drive-thru test sites. He met earlier in the day with lab and pharmacy executives to discuss the initiative.

Meanwhile, yesterday evening, White House physician Dr. Sean Conley said President Trump has tested negative for COVID-19. Dr. Conley said in a press release:

Last night after an in-depth discussion with the President regrading COVID-19 testing, he elected to proceed. This evening I received confirmation that the test is negative.

One week after having dinner with the Brazilian delegation in Mar-a-Lago, the President remains symptom-free. I have been in daily contact with the CDC [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] and White House Coronavirus Task Force, and we are encouraging the implementation of all their best practices for exposure reduction and transmission mitigation.

Please pray for our President.

Please pray for America.

Media hypocrisy: Trump calling it ‘Wuhan virus’ is racist, but media hacks themselves called it just that

The current coronavirus is misnamed because it is not specific enough. Coronaviruses are a family of viruses that cause respiratory tract infections. Coronaviruses include the common cold, the seasonal flu virus, and rarer forms such as SARS, MERS, and the current virus wreaking havoc around the world. That virus originated in China, in the city of Wuhan.

Note: SARS-CoV (Severe Acute Respirtory Syndrome-CoronaVirus) had also originated in China — in southern China in 2002.

The medical name for the current coronavirus is SARS-CoV-2.

The disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 is named “coronavirus disease 2019” (abbreviated “COVID-19”).

On Wednesday night, March 11, once again President Trump spoke to the nation about what the federal government is doing about the Wuhan coronavirus.

MSM jackals, especially CNN, seized on Trump calling the virus the Wuhan virus, and accused him of racism.

Why is that racist?

Did you know that MERS that first broke out in June 2012 in Saudi Arabia refers to Middle East Respiratory Syndrome?

Why is it okay to call MERS the “Middle East” coronavirus, but it’s racist to call the current coronavirus that originated in Wuhan, China the Wuhan or Chinese coronavirus?

To top it off, the very same MSM jackals who are accusing Trump of racism themselves had referred to the virus as the Wuhan coronavirus! — which makes them, by their own yardstick, rank racists.

Here’s the evidence:
