Agenda 21-Huffpo Hack's Bias Exposed by Rosa Koire

We owe a debt of gratitude to Rosa Koire for getting out a heads-up on this.  She was approached by Huffpo “journalist”, Andrew Reinbach, who wanted an interview for a story he was doing about U.N. Agenda 21.  The main thrust of the interview was his determination to blame the “vast rightwing conspiracy” aka John Birch Society for making an issue of the harmless little non-binding Agenda 21.
Rosa laid it on the line…. BIG TIME!   She blogged about it on her website and posted the  interview on Youtube!
When you read his article, it’s as if the 44 minute interview with Rosa never happened.  It didn’t fit the narrative of tin foil hat JBS paranoia he had in mind .

Agenda 21: Affordable Energy Hearings – Green Jobs

This video has only been viewed 183 times at the time of this posting.  It’s long, but, very important.   It separates the sheep from the goats in terms of congressmen.  Write them to let them know your thoughts based on what they’ve said here.

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform held a hearing entitled, “How Obama’s Green Energy Agenda is Killing Jobs” on September 22, 2011. The hearing explored the implications of government programs designed to transition the United States from traditional energy sources to “green,” or renewable, energy for purpose of job creation and economic growth.

Agenda 21 Visioning Process Does Not Go As Planned

This is a 2-hour video of the One Bay Area public meeting on “Visioning” whereby Agenda 21 facilitators from three NGOs practiced their Delphi Techniques on the target audience that happened to be salted with citizens-activists from nine counties who refused to be  facilitated. (One Bay Area is an unelected Regional Council of NGOs tasked with implementing the Agenda 21 goals in nine California Counties)
While infuriating on one level, it’s also entertaining in that it shows the frustration of the facilitators when their Delphi Technique psychological tactics failed to break down the resistance of individuals in the audience.   The frustration and annoyance of the facilitators is plain.  Wish I’d been there!  Looked like a fun event! ~LTG
A pro-Agenda 21 website, California Planning & Development Report has a lengthy article about the event,  decrying the Tea Party resistance:
“There were Tea Party activists – and that’s very much self-identified – no question that there was a group organized to participate in the meetings,” said Randy Rentschler, spokesperson for MTC. He added that videographers by the name of Tea Party TV have filmed meetings.
At those meetings, self-identified Tea Party supporters decried nearly every goal of the SB 375 planning process. Speakers criticized the plan for forcing residents into dense housing and impinging on suburban lifestyles. Speakers questioned the notion of regional planning, claiming that top-down planning would usurp local control. These and other objections at one meeting were captured on a two-hour video shot by a Tea Party supporter and posted on the Internet.
“The things they brought to the table were: ‘leave us alone; we don’t need your land use rules. We don’t need people telling us what to do,’” said Rentschler.
At that meeting and others, participants say that Tea Party opinions all but drowned out other views, according to some.
“They were very vocal and in some respects they would get obnoxious,” said Joel Ramos, a community planner with the nonprofit group TransForm, who said he attended several meetings in Contra Costa County. “I think that it was ultimately a detractor and that it devalued the overall conversation.”

Agenda 21? Drinking Water from Sewage? Another Bright Idea from ICLEI?

Texas plant will turn sewage into drinking water

In parched West Texas, it’s often easier to drill for oil than to find new sources of water. So after years of diminishing water supplies made even worse by the second-most severe drought in state history, some communities are resorting to a plan that might have seemed absurd a generation ago: turning sewage into drinking water.

In parched West Texas, it’s often easier to drill for oil than to find new sources of water. So after years of diminishing water supplies made even worse by the second-most severe drought in state history, some communities are resorting to a plan that might have seemed absurd a generation ago: turning sewage into drinking water.
Construction recently began on a $13 million water-reclamation plant believed to be the first of its kind in Texas. And officials have worked to dispel any fears that people will be drinking their neighbors’ urine, promising the system will yield clean, safe water. Some residents are prepared to put aside any squeamishness if it means having an abundant water supply.
“Any water is good water, as far as I’m concerned,” said Gary Fuqua, city manager in Big Spring, which will join the cities of Midland, Odessa and Stanton in using the water.
When the water finally reaches the tap, Fuqua said, its origin is “something I wouldn’t think about at all.”

Agenda 21: Sustainability Myth vs Math

My friend, Kelleigh sent this.  It’s a perfect example of the impractical and ruinous “sustainability” component of Agenda 21 applied to the “Cash for Clunkers” program.  ~LTG

The person who calculated this bit of information is now and has been aprofessor at The University of West Virginia in Morgantown for the last forty some years.

  1. A clunker that travels 12,000 miles a year at 15 mpg uses 800 gallons of gas a year.
  2. A new vehicle that travels 12,000 miles a year at 25 mpg uses 480 gallons of gas a year.
  3. So, the average Cash for Clunkers transaction will reduce gasoline consumption by 320 gallons per year.
  4. The government claims 700,000 clunkers have been replaced so that’s 224 million gallons saved per year.
  5. That equates to a bit over 5 million barrels of oil.
  6. 5 million barrels is about 5 hours worth of US consumption.
  7. More importantly, 5 million barrels of oil at $70 per barrel costs about $350 million dollars.
  8. So, the government paid $3 billion of our tax dollars to save $350 million.
  9. We spent $8.57 for every $1.00 we saved.

Agenda 21 and the 2012 Federal Budget

Okay, after listening to the incessant soundbytes from both sides of the current budget debate, I finally wised up enough to go online and see exactly what all the fuss is about.  It’s on the White House website,2012 Budget  216 pages in pdf format.  Anyone can download it.
I strongly suggest taking a few minutes to download and open it up.  When all 216 pages are downloaded, do a “search”.  Click on the little binoculars on the lefthand side of the pdf document  and type the telltale Agenda 21 word, “sustainable”   In 216 pages the word “sustainable” is used 58 times!!!!!   That’s an average of once every 3.724 pages!

THIS IS THE AGENDA 21 BUDGET!

Cut out all  the “sustainability” crappola and every federal department that overlaps states’ rights and we’d have a manageable budget.
All the states, counties and towns in Budget crisis have the same problem.  Agenda 21 and the “sustainability” model of the United Nations and the RIO conference has drained us dry at every level of government.  It’s time to take a stand.  ~LTG

Agenda 21 – UN is Pushing the Happiness Survey

Goofy, creepy and funny all at the same time, this “Happiness Survey” is being pushed by an organization called Sustainable Seattle with funding from the City of Seattle and private organizations. The introduction to the survey explains that it was developed in Bhutan and is approved by the United Nations.   Their website provides a brochure and toolkit for  other organizations  that want to get on board with hosting the survey and pooling data.  Soon to come — Training Change Agents

Agenda 21 In One Easy Lesson

Awareness of Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development is racing across the nation as citizens in community after community are learning what their city planners are actually up to. As awareness grows, I am receiving more and more calls for tools to help activists fight back. Many complain that elected officials just won’t read detailed reports or watch long videos. “Can you give us something that is quick, and easy to read that we can hand out,” I’m asked.

So here it is. A one page, quick description of Agenda 21 that fits on one page. I’ve also included for the back side of your hand out a list of quotes for the perpetrators of Agenda 21 that should back up my brief descriptions.

A word of caution, use this as a starter kit, but do not allow it to be your only knowledge of this very complex subject. To kill it you have to know the facts. Research, know your details; discover the NGO players in your community; identify who is victimized by the policies and recruit them to your fight; and then kill Agenda 21. That’s how it must be done. The information below is only your first step. Happy hunting.   Continue reading
