Red Pill reports for The Goldwater, March 28, 2018, that Susan Rice, Obama’s national security adviser and UN ambassador, has been hired to Netflix Inc’s board of directors, “but most Americans seem to forget that George Soros is a leading shareholder in the company.“
Red Pill is right.
Soros indeed is a leading shareholder in Netflix, through his privately-held investment management firm, Soros Fund Management, which he’d founded in 1969.
According to Wikipedia, Soros Fund Management’s president and deputy chairman is one of George’s demon spawn, Robert Soros. But according to Business Insider, on June 26, 2017, Robert Soros, the 53-year-old eldest son of George Soros, stepped down as deputy chairman and president of Soros Fund Management but remain an owner at the firm. Robert will start his own venture capital firm, Soros Capital.
Soros Fund Management (SFM) has large investments in transportation, energy, retail, financial, and other industries, as well as in public equity and fixed income markets worldwide, foreign exchange, currency, commodity markets, and private equity and venture capital funds.
According to Soros Fund Management‘s latest portfolio, as of December 31, 2017, SFM owns 71,500 shares in Netflix. At the current price of $285.77 per share, the total value of Soros’ shares in Netflix is a whopping $20.43 million.
Soros Fund Management has tentacles all over the U.S. economy and the world. George Soros, via his Soros Fund Management, also owns shares in these well-known companies and many others:
Overstock.com Inc: 2,472,188 shares.
Time Warner Inc: 361,842 shares.
Target Corp: 558,460 shares.
Urban Outfitters Inc: 1,023,055 shares.
Gap Inc: 998,391 shares.
Halliburton Co: 642,500 shares.
CBS Corp: 450,000 shares.
American Eagle Outfitters Inc: 1,278,162 shares.
Aetna Inc: 199,000 shares.
General Motors Co: 600,109 shares.
Comcast Corp: 700,000 shares
Bank of America Corp: 264,600 shares.
Microsoft Corp: 57,700 shares.
Visa Inc: 21,900 shares.
Tribune Media Co: 128,175 shares.
Monsanto Co: 174,729 shares.
General Electric Co: 42,900 shares.
Southwest Airlines Co: 9,300 shares.
Interestingly, Soros Fund Management had sold out its shares in Facebook Inc., well before the eruption of the current scandal engulfing Facebook.
From Fox News: Susan Rice, the Obama national security adviser under fire over her alleged involvement in the “unmasking” of Trump associates during the 2016 presidential election, suggested in a fresh interview that race and gender might be playing a role in the scrutiny she’s faced.
In an interview with journalist Michael Tomasky for New York Magazine, Rice reportedly questioned the criticism she’s faced dating back to the Benghazi controversy. “Why me? Why not Jay Carney, for example, who was then our press secretary, who stood up more?” she asked.
Tomasky noted in the piece that Carney “isn’t an African-American woman, of course” and apparently asked Rice whether that is the key factor. Rice, in response, left the door open: “I don’t know… I do not leap to the simple explanation that it’s only about race and gender. I’m trying to keep my theories to myself until I’m ready to come out with them. It’s not because I don’t have any.”
But Rice mentioned other prominent female figures – like Hillary Clinton and Condoleezza Rice – who faced “ad hominem” attacks, suggesting a correlation.
Asked about the comments, a Republican Capitol Hill source pushed back. “This is screaming out for attention… She’s saying I don’t know why they all started picking on me to begin with.” As to the suggestion of race and gender being a factor, the source countered, then “why would there be a subpoena for a white male?”
That was a reference to the fact that Rice is not the only focus of the congressional probe into unmasking. Investigators have issued subpoenas to three different agencies: NSA, CIA and FBI.
Those subpoenas have asked for unmasking information related to three individuals: former CIA Director John Brennan, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power, and Rice. She’s not the only focus of congressional frustration, either. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., had a tense exchange with a top intelligence community lawyer at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday where he complained he still doesn’t have an answer on whether his communications have been monitored.
“Am I ever gonna get [the response] in my lifetime?” he asked.
Rice told Judy Woodruff on PBS on March 22 that she “knew nothing” about the unmasking of Trump associates. But weeks later on MSNBC, she admitted she sometimes sought out the identities of Trump associates who communicated with foreigners, a request known as “unmasking” in the intelligence community. But “I leaked nothing to nobody,” Rice told MSNBC.
Rice initially became a target of Republican criticism back in 2012 for giving misleading information about the origin of the Benghazi terror attack. On Sept. 16, 2012, just days after the attack, Rice appeared on all five Sunday political talk shows to claim the Benghazi attack spun out of a protest over an anti-Muslim video produced in California.
Former CIA Director David Petraeus reportedly told lawmakers later that the intelligence community considered the attack an act of terrorism at the time. Four Americans were killed in Benghazi, including U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens.
Last night, as I was putting together the new Caption Contest post, I looked through the photos I’ve saved in my “Caption Contest” folder to find a suitable pic for our 95th Caption Contest.
I came across this pic, taken at the funeral memorial to Nelson Mandela on Dec. 10, 2013 — of the POS making a public display of his devotion to FLPOS and “Michael,” in turn, looking smug and self-satisfied.
But what really creeped me out is the face in the shadows behind FLPOS on the far left — watching, with eyes full of malice and resentment.
The individual in the shadows is Susan Rice, former ambassador to the UN and now Obama’s national security adviser.
If Hollywood central casting were looking for someone to portray Satan, that’s the face.

Obama’s firing of Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is a forewarning of dangers to come. In the words of Stratfor founder George Friedman who calls Obama “a failed presidency”: “The period of a failed presidency is…not a quiet time…. The last two years of a failed presidency are mostly about foreign policy and are not very pleasant to watch.”

Congratulations, Mr. President! And identical congrats to your sorcerer’s apprentice, National Security Adviser Susan Rice. By trying to sell him as an American hero, you’ve turned a deserter already despised by soldiers in the know into quite possibly the most-hated individual soldier in the history of our military.
I have never witnessed such outrage from our troops.
Exhibit A: Ms. Rice. In one of the most tone-deaf statements in White House history (we’re making a lot of history here), the national-security advisor, on a Sunday talk show, described Bergdahl as having served “with honor and distinction.” Those serving in uniform and those of us who served previously were already stirred up, but that jaw-dropper drove us into jihad mode.
But pity Ms. Rice. Like the president she serves, she’s a victim of her class. Nobody in the inner circle of Team Obama has served in uniform. It shows. That bit about serving with “honor and distinction” is the sort of perfunctory catch-phrase politicians briefly don as electoral armor. (“At this point in your speech, ma’am, devote one sentence to how much you honor the troops.”)
I actually believe that Ms. Rice was kind of sincere, in her spectacularly oblivious way. In the best Manchurian Candidate manner, she said what she had been programmed to say by her political culture, then she was blindsided by the firestorm she ignited by scratching two flinty words together. At least she didn’t blame Bergdahl’s desertion on a video.
The president, too, appears stunned. He has so little understanding of (or interest in) the values and traditions of our troops that he and his advisers really believed that those in uniform would erupt into public joy at the news of Bergdahl’s release — as D.C. frat kids did when Osama bin Laden’s death was trumpeted.
Both President Obama and Ms. Rice seem to think that the crime of desertion in wartime is kind of like skipping class. They have no idea of how great a sin desertion in the face of the enemy is to those in our military. The only worse sin is to side actively with the enemy and kill your brothers in arms. This is not sleeping in on Monday morning and ducking Gender Studies 101.
But compassion, please! The president and all the president’s men and women are not alone. Our media elite — where it’s a rare bird who bothered to serve in uniform — instantly became experts on military justice. Of earnest mien and blithe assumption, one talking head after another announced that “we always try to rescue our troops, even deserters.”
Uh, no. “Save the deserter” is a recent battle cry of the politically indoctrinated brass. For much of our history, we did make some efforts to track down deserters in wartime. Then we shot or hanged them. Or, if we were in good spirits, we merely used a branding iron to burn a large D into their cheeks or foreheads. Even as we grew more enlightened, desertion brought serious time in a military prison. At hard labor.
This is a fundamental culture clash. Team Obama and its base cannot comprehend the values still cherished by those young Americans “so dumb” [see “Note” below] they joined the Army instead of going to prep school and then to Harvard. Values such as duty, honor, country, physical courage, and loyalty to your brothers and sisters in arms have no place in Obama World. (Military people don’t necessarily all like each other, but they know they can depend on each other in battle — the sacred trust Bergdahl violated.)
Note: On October 30, 2006, at a campaign rally for Democratic California gubernatorial candidate Phil Angelides at Pasadena City College in Pasadena, California, then Senator John Kerry (now Obama’s Secretary of State) told an audience composed mainly of college students: “If you make the most of it, study hard, do your homework and make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you can get stuck in Iraq.“ [For video of Kerry, click here.]
President Obama did this to himself (and to Bergdahl). This beautifully educated man, who never tires of letting us know how much smarter he is than the rest of us, never stopped to consider that our troops and their families might have been offended by their commander-in-chief staging a love-fest at the White House to celebrate trading five top terrorists for one deserter and featuring not the families of those soldiers (at least six of them) who died in the efforts to find and free Bergdahl, but, instead, giving a starring role on the international stage to Pa Taliban, parent of a deserter and a creature of dubious sympathies (that beard on pops ain’t a tribute to ZZ Top). How do you say “outrageous insult to our vets” in Pashto?
Obama beams as Bowe Bergdahl’s creepy Muslim dad asks for Allah’s “blessing” (read more here)
Nor, during the recent VA scandal, had the president troubled himself to host the families of survivors of those vets who died awaiting care. No, the warmest attention our president has ever paid to a “military family” was to Mr. and Mrs. Bergdahl.
(I will refrain from criticism of the bumptious attempts to cool the flames of this political conflagration by Secretary Hagel: I never pick on the weak.)
What is to be done? Behind the outrage triggered by Team Obama’s combination of cynicism and obliviousness (Bergdahl was so ill we had to set those terrorists free immediately, without notifying Congress, but now he’s chugging power shakes in a military hospital . . . and all this just happened to come at the peak of the VA scandal . . . ), military members don’t really want to lynch Bergdahl. But they want justice.
Our military leaders need to rediscover their moral courage and honor our traditions, our regulations, and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. We need a fresh, unprejudiced 15-6 investigation (the military equivalent of a grand jury). We already know, as the military has known since the first 24 hours after Bergdahl abandoned his post, that sufficient evidence exists for a court-martial, but it’s important to do this by the numbers.
It’s hard to believe that the resulting court-martial would not find Bergdahl guilty of desertion (although there will be heavy White House pressure to reduce the charge to Absent Without Leave, or AWOL, status, a lesser offense). If he is convicted, I for one do not want him to go to prison. I’m sure he’s paid and paid for betraying his comrades, quite possibly suffering brutal sexual violence. But if he is found guilty, he needs to be formally reduced to the rank of private, stripped of all privileges and entitlements (the taxpayer should not pay for a deserter’s lifelong health care — Bergdahl’s book and film deals can cover that), and he should be given the appropriate prison sentence, which would then be commuted by the president. Thereafter, let Mr. Bergdahl go home and live with himself.
As for President Obama, how about just one word of thanks to the families of those fallen soldiers you sent out to find Bowe Bergdahl?
I Am so sick of McCain and the rest of Washington. TPTB have just about backed us and Israel into a corner. We can’t be like Europe and sucumb to Islam, I mean how’s that working out. Hate to go all UN-PC on ya, but ….
Screw Any Muslim Who Believes in a Caliphate , and The Camel They Rode in on.!! 😡
This is my opinion and not the opinion of FOTM
——————————————– ~ Steve ~ ——————————————-
by sundance @ theconservativetreehouse Republican John McCain is just as dangerous to our nation as his new BFF President Obama; Perhaps more so….
n 2009 McCain went to Turkey in support of another BFF of Obama, Prime Minister Erdogan. We tried to warn….. it fell on deaf ears.
Turkey has descended into a hardline Islamist state, no longer the moderate secular nation it once was. In 2010 McCain joined the chorus of fools proclaiming that Egypt needed support to overthrow Hosni Mubarak, and claimed the Tahir Square protesters would give a new rise to freedom. We tried to warn…… it fell on deaf ears.
Egypt quickly and intentionally descended into a hardline Islamist state. Now ruled by the Muslim Brotherhood, and facilitating attacks against Israel as they continue to advance their extremist Sharia ideology. In 2011 McCain went to Benghazi in eastern Libya. There he joined with Obama/Hillary’s toolish BFF Ambassador Stephens (pictured below to his left). As Clinton, Obama and Stephens, together with Susan Rice and Samantha Power Rice structured, yet again, the Obama Doctrine [R2P] by arming the “rebels” who were in actuality al-Qaeda. We tried to warn….. it fell on deaf ears.
Eastern Libya became a hell hole of radical Islamist jihadi’s. Eventually they brutalized, raped, and murdered Ambassador Stephens while dragging his body through the streets. Three other Americans were also killed.
Eastern Libya is now an al-Qaeda launching base, and the media hides the reality to protect Dear Leader.
2012 was an election year, so other than lying and covering the death of Stephens behind all manner of irrational nonsense excuses to cover for their short-sighted failure; luckily the election cycle made the crew of U.S. usurpers wary of involvement in Syria.
But now here we are in 2013, today, yet another McCain trip to yet another Middle East nation to support another batch of “rebels”. This time the Free Syrian Army (aka al-Qaeda in Syria). We’re not going to even bother with warnings this time……
What will happen is what has happened before.
The “Resistance, or Rebels, or Freedom Fighters et al” will be called such by the mediauntil they are armed, and in charge. Once that happens their ideology will surface, they’ll be viewed as radical Islamists; And after they chop up a few folks, launch some terrorist actions against the U.S. and Israel, their name will evolve in the media to ”al-Qaeda”
First, NBC outed Democrat attempts to destroy the Benghazi whistleblowers, now ABC News is shredding the official White House version of events. It’s starting to look like the President’s media lapdogs have finally been shamed into exposing their favorite administration.
n this case, ABC has revealed that they’ve received a whopping 12 different revisions of the Benghazi talking points. Their reporting makes it clear that the White House lied when it said the revisions were enacted predominantly by the intelligence community. “When it became clear last fall that the CIA’s now discredited Benghazi talking points were flawed, the White House said repeatedly the documents were put together almost entirely by the intelligence community, but White House documents reviewed by Congress suggest a different story ABC News has obtained 12 different versions of the talking points that show they were extensively edited as they evolved from the drafts first written entirely by the CIA to the final version distributed to Congress and to U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice before she appeared on five talk shows on the Sunday after that attack.
White House emails reviewed by ABC News suggest the edits were made with extensive input from the State Department. The edits included requests from the State Department that references to the Al Qaeda-affiliated group Ansar al-Sharia be deleted as well references to CIA warnings about terrorist threats in Benghazi in the months preceding the attack.” They even call Jay Carney out – by name – for telling a bald faced lie back in November. Hehehehehehhee
Poor wittle Jay, him sad cause he in deep doo doo.
“Those talking points originated from the intelligence community. They reflect the IC’s best assessments of what they thought had happened,” Carney said at the time. “The White House and the State Department have made clear that the single adjustment that was made to those talking points by either of those two institutions were changing the word “consulate’ to “diplomatic facility’ because ‘consulate’ was inaccurate.” Bear in mind, this isn’t Fox News. This isn’t the National Review, TownHall, or even the crackpots at InfoWars. This is mainstream, Democrat-friendly, ABC News. We can all complain about how long it took the last horse to cross the finish line, but at least it’s managed to do so. Progressives can no longer claim that this “is a non-story” or that “only right wingers care.” The story is becoming bigger and bigger, and not even the Obama-faithful can ignore it any longer. We’ll see how long this new found love of reality lasts – and the smart money’s on ‘not long’- but if outlets like NBC and ABC have stopped carrying the President’s water on this matter, the wheels are truly coming off. Here’s the ABC News piece, and you can read all of their reporting HERE. CBS has a breakdown of the edits. You can read it HERE

Today, three current State Department officers testified before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, chaired by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA). They are:
Mark Thompson, an official with the State Department’s Counterterrorism Bureau.
Greg Hicks, deputy chief of mission in Libya who became top U.S. diplomat in the country after Ambassador Chris Stevens was killed in the terror attack.
Eric Nordstrom, a diplomatic security officer who was formerly the regional security officer in Libya.
l to r: Mark Thompson, Greg Hicks, Eric Nordstrom
Their testimonies confirmed what we already knew in the days after the horrible attack on Sept. 11, 2011, against the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, which took the lives of four Americans: U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, State Department worker Sean Smith, and former U.S. Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty.
As Jerry of Political War Zone pointed out, Benghazigate is far worse than Nixon’s Watergate for this simple reason: No one died in Watergate, but four Americans, including an ambassador, were killed in Benghazigate.
This is a summary of their testimonies today: 1. Obama regime lied: The Obama regime (Secretary of State Hillary “what difference does it make?” Clinton, U.S. Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice, and Obama the POS) lied about the nature of the Benghazi attack, calling it a spontaneous protest by Muslim masses against an anti-Muslim video made by a California man. According to Greg Hicks, “everybody in the mission” believed it was an act of terror “from the get-go.” Hicks also said he had briefed Clinton that night, but she continued to blame the video for the attack. 2. An Islamic terrorist attack: In addition to Hick’s testimony, Rep. Trey Goudy (R-SC) read into the record an email from Beth Jones, the acting assistant secretary of state for Near East Affairs. The September 12 email—disclosed for the first time today—said Jones had spoken to Libya’s ambassador to Washington who said the attack was the work of former Gadhafi regime loyalists. Jones said she told the ambassador: “The group that conducted the attacks, Ansar al-Sharia, is affiliated with Islamic terrorists.” 3. Failure in security: The U.S. diplomatic buildings in Benghazi did not meet State Department security standards and were listed as “high threat” before the 9/11/2011 attacks. Eric Nordstrom said, “It’s my understanding only the secretary of state could waive those requirements.” In other words, Hillary Clinton is responsible for the lapse in security at Benghazi. 4. Cover-up:Gregory Hicks testified he was told by the State Department not to speak to members of Congress while they were investigating the details of the Benghazi consulate attacks. State Department lawyers instructed him to avoid an interview with Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), who traveled to Libya to investigate the attacks: “I was instructed not to allow the RSO, the acting deputy chief of mission and myself to be personally interviewed by Congressman Chaffetz.” 5. White House knew what was happening as it was happening:Hicks testified that an UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle or drone) was flying in Libya the night of the attack.
