Washington State to release man early who committed horrific hate crime (after racking up 17 felonies)

Progressives claim to be proponents and champions of defending minorities against hate crimes. Yet when it comes to actually punishing those responsible for their acts, the justice systems in place tell a different story.

Back in March of this year, a white man beat an Indian-American man very badly while calling him “blackie.”

The victim, Sandeep Ray, was beaten by William Kraft, a man who had racked up 17 felonies in 13 years. KIRO 7 News had this story about Ray’s beating:

Kraft kicked Ray in the head as he laid on the ground. Then took off his shirt and used it to strangle Ray. Then while on all fours, he started choking Ray with his hands. A bystander finally stopped the attack.

Kraft’s mother and sister plead for leniency Friday. “He has had mental illness and he’s tried to self-medicate with drugs. And also the abuse was mentioned when he was younger,” said Lisa Kraft, his mom.

“This awful thing that William did is not a reflection of who my brother is,” said Catherine Kraft, his sister.

And Kraft apologized for his crimes. “I wake up every day and it just doesn’t seem real. So I’d like to very sincerely apologize to Mr. Ray,” he said.

The judge acknowledged it all — but also noted Kraft’s criminal history and the severity of this crime.

Charging documents said, “The defendant has a criminal history which includes two counts of Assault 2 in 2004, Assault 3 in 2015, Malicious Mischief 3 in 2014, Obstructing in 2014, DUI in 2011. He has eight warrants since 2004.”

“This is your second strike,” said Judge John McHale. “It was an act of terror. So I’m going to follow the state’s recommendation,” he said, sentencing him to nearly five years in prison.”

Turns out this “act of terror” wasn’t bad enough to warrant the perp a full jail sentence. According to MyNorthwest.com, the perp will walk free a year earlier than expected.

The perp had given Mr. Ray a concussion and was unable to return to work for a week. Mr. Ray “remained in such excruciating pain for weeks afterward that he even thought at times, “[Kraft] should have killed me that night, then it would be over for me.”

The Washington State Department of Corrections is releasing the perp Kraft early because of “good behavior.”

You can see video of the attack here.

There are several lessons here: 1) conceal carry, 2) don’t rely on police to protect/save you, and 3) don’t count on liberal prosecutors to seek appropriate charges/convictions.

And don’t elect liberals who claim to have “a national reputation as a leader in effective criminal justice reform.”

Also, don’t elect liberals who refuse to acknowledge/take any action on the large number of repeat offenders within their jurisdiction.

#BelieveAllWomen: Climate change expert charged with choking fiancé, woman fears for her life

Aaron Doering can’t control his passion…

From NY Post: A well-known climate change expert and professor at the University of Minnesota choked and brutally assaulted his fiancée, who told cops she fears he will kill her, according to a criminal complaint.

Aaron Herbert Doering, a 47-year-old tenured professor and the director of the Minneapolis University’s Learning Technologies Media Lab, was charged Thursday with two felony counts of domestic assault by strangulation in Hennepin County District Court, the Star Tribune reports.

Doering — who also serves as a fellow for the Royal Canadian Geographic Society and regularly appears on media outlets to discuss climate change, sustainability and related topics — had to be separated from his fiancée by responding officers when they got to the couple’s apartment in Minneapolis, according to a criminal complaint obtained by the newspaper.

The woman, who had bruises on her neck and red marks on her forehead, told police Doering had dragged her through the apartment by her hair before beating her and choking her to the point that she thought she would lose consciousness, the complaint shows.

“Victim believes [Doering] will kill her if he returns to the apartment,” according to the court document.

The woman claimed that the alleged assault was not the first time she had been victimized by Doering. She also provided police with photographs to back up those claims.

Doering, who remains jailed in Hennepin County on $40,000 bond, is set to make his initial court appearance Friday afternoon, county records show.

Doering’s status at the university remained unchanged as of late Thursday, a spokeswoman told the Star Tribune.
“We’re aware of the situation and will be reviewing the matter,” director of public relations Lacey Nygard said. A message seeking additional comment from university officials was not immediately returned early Friday.

Doering’s website bills him as an explorer with a “passion for education and change” and details some of his lectures to more than 15 million students, as well as his dog-sledding trips and more than 5,000 miles exploring the Arctic since 2004. His latest project, “The Changing Earth,” is an Emmy-nominated documentary about a 137-mile trek through the Arctic wilderness into Iceland.

“Aaron has received millions of dollars in grants; has published more than 80 journal articles, books, book chapters, and conference proceedings; and is the coauthor of two books, The New Landscape of Mobile Learning: Redesigning Education in an App-based World and Integrating Educational Technology into Teaching,” the website reads.

Doering’s Twitter account, which has nearly 4,000 followers, identifies him as an adventurer and is peppered with photos of extreme Canadian Arctic locales, as well as his young son.

Rape, strangulation and assault: Three attacks by homeless people in Seattle in less than a month

The homeless situation in Seattle/Q13Fox photo

In November 2015 the former mayor of Seattle, homosexual Ed Murray, declared a state of emergency in Seattle due to the homelessness situation. At that time, there was an estimated 10,000 people living on the streets. Fast-forward to May 2018 and the number of homeless people has increased to over 12,100.

The city has a very lax policy in allowing the homeless to commit drug offenses. The homeless openly use and drug dealers are frequently spotted at homeless hangouts. The city even allows drug use at some homeless shelters.

Now the homeless have become more brazen with their criminal activities. No amount of tax payer dollars is going to solve the problem until Seattle officials stop coddling these individuals.

From MyNorthwest.com: Police report there’s been another assault from a man, believed to be homeless, against innocent passers-by, this time a father and his daughter walking to the Cinerama in Belltown on Father’s Day.

The unidentified victims were on their way to a screening of “The Incredibles 2” when the suspect, David Ailep, allegedly followed the pair as they walked down the sidewalk. When the female victim tried to walk away from Ailep, he said to her “why are you laughing at me” and “stop laughing at me.” She wasn’t laughing at him.

According to the police report, obtained by KTTH 770 AM, she asked Ailep to get away from her, but he refused:

“She observed that Ailep had his right hand in his pocket (she noted that it looked like was holding a knife in his hand covered by his jacket pocket) and his left hand was up and back in a striking position like he was going to hit her,” the report says. “She feared that he was going to strike her, and she decided to pull out her ASP baton from her purse to defend herself.”

The female victim screamed at him to get away from her, but he refused, grabbing both of her arms, and rattling her back and forth until he was able to take the baton from her, according to the police documents. She yelled out in pain.

At this point, her father became aware of the assault and jumped into help, tackling Ailep to the ground. While on the ground, according to the police report, Ailep swung the baton at the father, hitting him “directly on the forehead” leaving a “visible swollen laceration” from the baton strike.

After police arrived in the area of the 9-1-1 call, they spotted a suspect matching Ailep’s description. When the two officers attempted to make contact with Ailep, he sprinted away on foot and, “without any instruction given to him,” laid on the ground to be detained.

One of the officers observed Ailep to be under the influence of drugs. He said Ailep had a difficult time staying focused, and appeared frantic and “in a complete stand of delusion or delirium.”

During the interview, he made random statements to the officer like “what’s in your sink man” and “I take showers.” He repeated random statements like “easy” and “twelve, thirteen, twenty-two.” The police report claims he “appeared to be suffering from the effects of a powerful psychedelic and or stimulant narcotic…” and claimed he performed oral sex for drugs. While he claimed his pockets were empty, a search found a folding knife, a cell phone, and a wallet that didn’t belong to him.

After his arrest for felony assault and theft, a King County Intake nurse advised Ailep was not suffering from mental illness but was “extremely intoxicated” from a stimulant narcotic. While the Seattle Police Department hasn’t confirmed Ailep is homeless, a source suggested they believe him to be.

This is the third high-profile homeless attack on a passerby in the last several weeks, with a rape in Ballard and a strangling of a tourist near the Space Needle occurring within weeks of each other. These incidents are occurring as Mayor Jenny Durkan asks for community support to place tiny home villages in residential neighborhoods. The South Lake Union village may be low barrier, which would allow someone like Ailep the ability to keep his drugs in his home.

Onfroy: Criminal who assaults a pregnant woman wants to “speak” for future generations

This 19-year-old rapper (real name is Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy) is a piece of work who should be in jail. From Wikipedia:
“In 2014, Onfroy was sent to a youth detention center for a year on gun possession charges According to Onfroy, during his time in detention, the district attorney was attempting to try Onfroy as an adult for gun possession charges which, according to him, would have landed him 5-10 years in prison.
In July 2016, Onfroy was arrested and charged with robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. After posting the bail of $10,000 in early October of the same year, while awaiting trial, Onfroy was arrested again later that month on charges of false imprisonment, witness tampering, and aggravated battery of a pregnant victim. Onfroy was released from jail on bail on March 26, 2017 and his probation for robbery and assault with a deadly weapon started on March 27, 2017 and will last until March 26, 2023. Onfroy’s trial for aggravated battery of a pregnant victim was originally going to take place in May 2017 and has since been pushed back several times, now taking place on October 5, 2017.
Sick piece of garbage he is.
From Daily Mail: A rapper has been condemned over his latest music video which shows him lynching a young white boy.
XXXTentacion’s video for Look at Me shows him fitting a noose around the young blond-haired child’s neck and raising him off the ground on a stage. The child’s feet are seen twitching – a common phenomenon during hanging – before he goes limp.
Elsewhere in the video, XXXTentacion, 19, appears hanging himself along with two other black men. The video also includes reenactments of the historic, racially-charged killings of Emmett Till and Philando Castile.
The recent death of Heather Hyer, an anti-protester who was killed after being run over at an alt-right march in Charlottesville, Virginia, last month, was also depicted.
The rapper claims the video decries racial violence across the board and says the lynching scene  is a part of that. He insists he is trying to demonstrate what the lasting effects will be on the younger generation if the same violence continues.
But critics slammed him for using a child to make his point with such ‘disturbing’ imagery. ‘I’m actually disturbed at the video of XXXTentacion featuring a young boy being hanged. This is beyond a joke,’ said one person.
‘Don’t make excuses for this sickness, simulated violence towards children is not cool or progressive. Not even to make a point. It’s dangerous,’ they said.
‘I have a huge problem with xxxtentacion and his new video. It doesn’t have anything to do with equality what so ever,’ another said.
One person accused the rapper of inciting a ‘race war’.
‘If the RACIST POS xxxtentacion gets his race war, who do you think will be left standing?’ one person said.
At the end of the video, the musician delivers a long message on racial violence and calls for it to come to an end for the sake of younger generations.
‘Equity and equality. The end result we all, the ones that don’t want to live in misery, desire. The youth is never inspired to make a stand to make a difference so I will speak for them. Are you willing to risk your child’s future due to your own bigotry? The choice is yours but your child will not stand for the hate. This generation will be loved, nurtured, heard and understood,’ he said.
Some viewers appreciated the video and sided with him. ‘If you can’t comprehend what xxxtentacion meant with the look at me video maybe you’re just too stupid,’ said one.
‘He was simply trying to show how the next generation would be affected if race wars went on,’ another said.
XXXTentacion’s real name is Jahseh Onfrey. Earlier this week, he responded to domestic violence allegations in a series of profane-laced videos.
He was charged with aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and witness-tampering. In the clips, the rapper denied the charges and accused critics of plotting against his success, and threatened to ‘fk ya’ll little sisters in their throats’.
‘They wanna crucify me, I ain’t having it, I’m not gonna be your f
king messiah,’ the rapper wrote in follow-up posts. ‘Y’all n****s bored.’
It’s unclear what the relationship was between the woman and XXXTentacion.
