Joe Biden urged to endorse $2K monthly stimulus income

MyFoxChicago reports that there is a Change.org petition that urges Creepy Joe to support a universal basic income of $2,000/month for U.S. residents because of the devastating effects of the response to the Wuhan virus. As of my scheduling this post, the petition had 240,000 of their goal of 300,000 signatures. From their story:

“Although the CARES Act was able to get $1,200 to taxpayers, millions of people fell through the cracks and still have not received their stimulus check,” the petition read.

Nearly a month after President Donald Trump signed the historic $2.2 trillion CARES Act into law, which saw millions of individual Americans receive one-time $1,200 stimulus payments, Democrats have powered another massive relief bill through the House, breaking the previous record at $3 trillion.

It has no chance of becoming law as written, but sparked difficult negotiations with the White House and Senate Republicans, as many say the first round of relief payments were not enough to combat the devastating economic effects caused by pandemic lockdowns aimed at stopping the spread of the disease.”

Along with the many problems of a universal basic income and giving people “free” money, there’s this: WE CAN’T AFFORD IT.

Meet the democratic socialist (and poet!) running against Nancy Pelosi

Meet the quality of candidates that California has to offer their constituents:

Nancy Pelosi has been in office since 1987. Her current term expires January 3, 2021. And their ain’t NO WAY she’s giving up her power.

Given the background and qualifications of this democratic socialist running against Nancy, Shahid Buttar, she’s more than likely to win another re-election (unless by some miracle a republican gets elected).

Let’s learn a bit more about Shahid, shall we? From his web site:

“Since graduating from Stanford Law School in 2003, Shahid has worked in both San Francisco and Washington as a legal advocate, a non-profit leader, a grassroots organizer, and a poet & musician. His wide-ranging work reflects a commitment to intersectional feminism, democratic socialism, and international human rights. His passions have long aligned around a common purpose: building the movement to place human rights and human needs like peace and climate justice before corporate profits.

In addition to LGBTQ rights, privacy, and the right to encryption, Shahid’s work has also advanced immigrant rights, campaign finance reform, government transparency, international human rights, and police accountability. His writing has explored issues from the right-wing attack on reproductive freedom to the erosion of voting rights, and from effective counter-terrorism strategies to examples of counter-cultural activism promoting progressive politics at the intersection of art and organizing.

An immigrant of Pakistani descent from the United Kingdom and the youngest of four children, Shahid grew up in the midwest and first came to the Bay Area in 2000 to study law at Stanford.

While a student at Stanford Law School, he served as Executive Editor of the Stanford Environmental Law Journal and professor Lawrence Lessig’s teaching assistant for Constitutional Law. He also spear-headed a campaign to promote sustainable building practices by the university, a day of action to shut down a Lockheed Martin facility, and a student strike against the war in Iraq.

After growing immersed in the movement to end the war, Shahid moved to Washington to work for Heller Ehrman LLP, a San Francisco-based law firm that later collapsed during the 2008 financial crisis. His work there included litigation championing the right to marry the partner of one’s choice—nearly 10 years before the Democratic establishment finally embraced marriage equality—and an appeal defending bipartisan campaign finance reform from being undermined by the Federal Election Commission.”

Outside of his work as an advocate and organizer, Shahid performs as a DJ, MC, and poet. He also organizes artists, and has co-founded several collectives of politicized performance artists on both coasts.”

Some of his endorsements include left-wing actress Susan Sarandon, the anti-Semite Linda Sarsour, race-baiter Dr. Cornel West and faux black man Shaun King.

Stellar list of endorsements ‘ya got there, Shahid.

Read about all of Shahid’s unique qualifications here.

Seattle Socialist Sawant calls for free doctor’s visits for King County coronavirus patients

Socialist Kshama Sawant

There’s been six deaths in Washington State due to coronavirus. Most of those affected were elderly and had underlying health conditions. Read about the cases here.

Keep in mind that Washington State has a population of over 7.2 million people.

Seattle City Socialist Councilmember Kshama Sawant wants those in King County who are exhibiting coronavirus symptons to have free doctor visits. From MyNorthwest.com:

“Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant issued a letter to Mayor Jenny Durkan and King County Executive Dow Constantine Monday, pushing for free medical care for any patients with coronavirus symptoms.

Sawant proposes the use of emergency funds “to guarantee that anyone in our region with a respiratory illness has access to a doctor’s visit without fear of medical bills.”

That would include “cost-free doctor visits” for any patient exhibiting signs of the illness.

“In the context of a global pandemic, the anarchy of this for-profit system could be lethal to many in our society,” the letter reads. “People who are priced out of doctors visits will be in danger themselves, and will spread coronavirus to their friends, family, and coworkers.”

First of all, it’s not FREE. Taxpayers will pay for these visits.

Secondly, how do you know that only those with “coronavirus symptons” will be seen by a doctor? I guarantee you that not everyone knows the symptons. Everyone and their brother who wants a free doctor visit will show up, no matter their symptons.

Lastly, does this womyn not know that there are ALREADY free or low-cost doctor services in King County?

Freeclinics.com has a list of 20 clinics in King County. King County even has a web page listing all 15 of their public health centers!

But that doesn’t matter. The hysteria is more important than the facts.

Bernie Sanders defends ‘not all that bad’ Fidel Castro as he stands by old remarks praising Communist Cuba

From Daily Mail: Bernie Sanders has praised Fidel Castro’s ‘massive literacy program’, standing by comments he made praising the dictator’s rule of Cuba in the 1980s.

The Democratic frontrunner, 78, defended the Communist regime as ‘not all bad’ during a wide-ranging 60 Minutes interview which aired Sunday.

In it he told Anderson Cooper: ‘We’re very opposed to the authoritarian nature of Cuba but you know, it’s unfair to simply say everything is bad. You know? When Fidel Castro came into office, you know what he did? He had a massive literacy program. Is that a bad thing? Even though Fidel Castro did it?’

Castro ruled Cuba for nearly half a century. A Cold War foe of the U.S., Castro’s government imprisoned dissidents and imposed one-party rule on the island nation. He died at the age of 90 in 2016.

Probed on the dissidents imprisoned in the country, Sanders replied: ‘That’s right. And we condemn that. Unlike Donald Trump, let’s be clear…I do not think that Kim Jong Un is a good friend. I don’t trade love letters with a murdering dictator. Vladimir Putin, not a great friend of mine.’

The self proclaimed Democratic socialist won a decisive victory Saturday in the Nevada caucuses, solidifying his frontrunner status in the race to choose the Democratic nominee who faces President Donald Trump in November’s election.

The 78-year-old senator from Vermont was leading with about 46 percent, followed by former vice president Joe Biden at 19 percent.

But even for Sanders the results are ‘shocking’, adding: ‘The ideas that seemed radical four years ago are now kind of mainstream.

‘When Donald Trump was a private businessman in New York, he got $800 million in tax breaks and subsidies to build luxury housing. That’s called corporate socialism. What democratic socialism is about is saying, ‘Let’s use the federal government to protect the interests of working families.’

Dick Van Dyke supports socialist Sanders

Van Dyke has a net worth of $50 million.

Keep in mind while watching this that, according to Wikipedia: “In April 2013, Van Dyke revealed that for seven years he had been experiencing symptoms of a neurological disorder, in which he felt a pounding in his head whenever he lay down; but despite his undergoing tests, no diagnosis had been made. In May 2013, he tweeted that it seemed his titanium dental implants may be responsible.”

Also keep in mind the following: “In July 2016, Van Dyke said of Donald Trump, “He has been a magnet to all the racists and xenophobes in the country, I haven’t been this scared since the Cuban Missile Crisis. I think the human race is hanging in a delicate balance right now, and I’m just so afraid he will put us in a war. He scares me.”

No tingle: Chris Matthews Likens Bernie’s Strong Nevada Showing to France Falling to Nazi Germany in WWII

From Yahoo: Cable news personalities had a lot to say about Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (D-VT) early lead in the Nevada caucuses Saturday, with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews likening it to the shock of France falling to Germany during WWII.

“It looks like Bernie Sanders is hard to beat… I think it’s a little late to stop him, and that’s the problem,” Matthews said during a panel segment. “It’s pretty much over unless that changes.”

He then dropped the eyebrow-raising WWII reference, seemingly as a way to describe how Sanders has—in his view—clinched the Democratic nomination.

“I’m reading last night about the fall of France in the summer of 1940. And the general calls up Churchill and says, ‘It’s over,’” Matthews said. “And Churchill says, ‘How can it be? You got the greatest army in Europe. How can it be over?’ He said, ‘It’s over.’”

Other pundits also marveled at Sanders’ lead, with CNN’s Van Jones claiming the jaws of the Democratic “establishment” were “hanging off their faces.”

“Nobody thought six months ago thought we would be sitting here with Bernie Sanders on his way to the nomination. He’s on his way to the nomination,” he said. “Something could happen to stop him. Somebody may have some marbles to throw at the stairs or banana peel, they better find it. Because this guy is off and running.”

Jones commented on the impressive Latino turnout for the Vermont senator, claiming that he was “running as if he’s a Latino candidate now.”

He also pointed to younger voters who caucused for Sanders, claiming their support has been a “youthquake.”

“You got a new generation stepping up. They’re not scared of any of these ideas and they’re tired of hearing Republicans calling everything we say socialist. They ruined the word socialist,” he said.

Another MSNBC personality, Joy Reid, attributed Sanders’ lead to the “sheer unadulterated rage” of young voters who she said were motivated to “throw the tables over” to vote for Sanders.

They’re turning the tables over and they don’t care what the potential result is. They’re the hungriest,” she said. “No one is as hungry, angry, enraged and determined as Sanders voters. Democrats need to sober up and figure out what the hell they are going to do about that.

Socialist Bernie Sanders: “I have seen up close the pain, death, and despair caused by war”

Demorats have their panties in a wad over President Trump ordering the drone killing of Iranian militia terrorist, Qasem Soleimani. As noted by Ben Shapiro, “According to Democrats, giving the Iranian terror regime access to hundreds of billions of dollars with no restrictions on terror use or ballistic missile testing was good, and killing the terrorist responsible for hundreds of American deaths is bad.”

That’s what TDS has done to the demorats.

Bernie Sanders is chiming in by claiming he’s got some “personal experience” into the despair caused by war. From a tweet of his on January 3:

As the former chair of the Senate Committee on Veterans Affairs, I have seen up close the pain, death, and despair caused by war. And I know that it is rarely the children of the billionaire class who face the agony of reckless foreign policy.”

Well Bernie, sorry to burst your bubble but I’m going to say that YOUR 39 YEARS of bureaucratic experience doesn’t qualify you AT ANY LEVEL to speak about the pain of war.

There are claims on the internet that his parents were Holocaust survivors. They are not. He’s got nothing on the parental experiences of the pain caused by war.

All he’s got is the bureaucratic talking points.

Bernie Sanders has ZERO military experience so he’s got nothing on the individual experience of the pain caused by war.

All he’s got is the bureaucratic talking points.

Bernie Sanders spent his honeymoon in the Soviet Union in 1988

Bernie Sanders has no children so he’s never experienced parental anxiety of the pain caused by war.

All he’s got is the bureaucratic talking points.

I can up you several times, Mr. Sanders:

My father served in the Korean War. His experiences were terrible. I do not care to publicly share the full details I had growing up of his service and the effect it had on him. All I will say is that several childhood events of his “episodes” had a lasting effect on me.

I had three uncles who served in WWII. One of them never came back.

My boyfriend is in the military and has done a tour in the sandbox. Hey Bernie, ever get a text from a loved one in the bunker who is receiving incomings? On Christmas?

These experiences of mine are NOTHING compared to the following U.S. citizens who had NO REQUESTED RESPONSE from the Obama Administration while they were being attacked for a “YouTube video:”

How convenient for Sanders to turn the attack on an U.S. embassy and our much deserved response into an economic warfare card to benefit his clueless sheeple.

I mean really Mr. Sanders, ask yourself this:

Socialist Seattle council member whines that massive budget isn’t enough to address racism

Socialist Kshama Sawant

This past week the Seattle City Council passed a $6.5 BILLION budget. With a population of approximately 745,000 that equates to a little over $8,700 taxpayer dollars to be spent per citizen.

Ballotpedia cites an April 2015 study which found that the country’s 100 largest cities by population spent an average of $2,605 per citizen in the most recent fiscal year for which reports were available. The average city budget in the largest 100 cities was $2.14 billion. Seattle was one of six cities which spent more per citizen on average than the states in which they are located.

Fast forward to 2019 and Seattle is still on track to break large-city budget records.

Earlier this month three Seattle council members were seeking re-election and they all won. Including socialist Kshama Sawant.

The socialist was the lone dissenting voice in approving the city’s new budget. Her reasoning?

The budget is “not a moral document.”

Apparently $6.5 BILLION doesn’t go far enough in addressing the social needs of the city and the “deep inequality and racism” in Seattle.

Odd how such a liberal and “progressive” city – which has been run by demorats for decades – could still possibly have a problem with inequality and racism.

Anyhow, back to Seattle’s budget.

As an “economist,” socialist Sawant should know a thing or two about financial documents. She says the $6.5 BILLION budget still “fails to meet human needs.”

The socialist is intent on squeezing more money out of taxpayers: “I don’t want us to rest on our laurels, and I hope that when January comes around, we will get back to serious organizing to win taxes on big business, to win rent control, and to make this city affordable and livable for everybody.”

As an “economist,” I wonder how she calculates how much money is necessary to address subjective and unquantifiable budget line items such as racism and inequality?

And what budget line items does she want include to make sure than “human needs” are met? After all, can’t a progressive subjectively make an argument for anything their hearts desire (and that which gets them votes) be proclaimed as a human need?

Seattle progressives DESERVE everything they vote for (homelessness criminals, repeat offenders, etc.) They’ve all failed in economics as they haven’t learned one golden rule:
