Updated 11/8/20: Boycott Chicoms: Chinese-owned manufacturers/companies in America

Originally published April 28, 2020. Updated below.

Chicoms lied, people died.

Time to take action against China. Hit ’em where is hurt$.

Last summer I quit shopping at WalMart because 1) of their relationship with China and 2) their stance on open carry. They are a private company and can make their own business decisions as they see fit. Just as I can choose not to shop there.

We all have an opportunity to make a choice now: Do we support America or do we support the Chicoms and their companies?

Here’s a list of Chinese owned-companies that operate in America. I’m sure there are plenty more – feel free to let us know about them in the comments!

Smithfield Foods

From Wikipedia:

“Smithfield Foods, Inc., is a meat-processing company based in Smithfield, Virginia, in the United States, and a wholly owned subsidiary of WH Group of China. Founded in 1936 as the Smithfield Packing Company by Joseph W. Luter and his son, the company is the largest pig and pork producer in the world. In addition to owning over 500 farms in the US, Smithfield contracts with another 2,000 independent farms around the country to grow Smithfield’s pigs.

GE Appliances

“GE Appliances is an appliance manufacturer based in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. It is majority owned by Haier. It is one of the largest appliance brands in the United States and manufactures appliances under a house of brands which include: GE, GE Profile, Café, Monogram, Haier and Hotpoint. On June 6, 2016, Haier & KKR acquired GE Appliances for $5.6 billion. Under the terms of the sale Haier would have the right to use the GE brand name until 2056.”

Haier Group Corporation is a multinational home appliances and consumer electronics company headquartered in Qingdao, China. The home appliances business, namely Haier Smart Home, has seven global brands – Haier, Casarte, Leader, GE Appliances, Fisher & Paykel, Aqua and Candy.”

AMC Theatres

Wanda Group owns a 38% share in AMC. Wanda Group is a Chinese multinational conglomerate based in Beijing. It is a private property developer and owner of Wanda Cinemas and the Hoyts Group, as well as a majority shareholder of AMC Theatres.”

From Wikipedia:

“Motorola Mobility LLC, marketed as simply Motorola, is an American consumer electronics and telecommunications subsidiary company owned by Chinese technology firm Lenovo. The company primarily manufactures smartphones and other mobile devices running the Android operating system developed by Google.”

There’s a lot more companies that the Chicoms have been acquiring. See more here.

Updated 11/8/20: Add the following company and their products to your #BoycottChicoms list: SharkNinja.

SharkNinja is a distributor of home devices and appliances based in in Needham, Massachusetts. SharkNinja was acquired by CDH Private Equity in 2017.

SharkNinja produces some VERY popular products including the Ninja air fryer and Shark vacuum cleaners.

Guess who owns CDH Private Equity?

Yep, the Chicoms!

You have the power to choose with your American dollar$. Unfortunately, if the demorats/media/Big Tech get THEIR power, we may have no choice.
