Movita Johnson-Harrell is a demorat from Pennsylvania who served as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 190th district from March to December 2019. She WAS the first female Muslim member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
Her tenure didn’t last that long: She was sworn into office on March 25, 2019 and is resigning this month.
The demorat just plead guilty to charges of perjury, tampering with public records, theft by unlawful taking and theft by deception and contributions of corporations related to her personal use of $500,000 over the course of a decade from a non-profit organization Motivation Education and Consultation Associates. Wikipedia says she announced that she would resign from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives due to these charges.
According to MSN, she had been under investigation in the months since winning a special election in March.
Johnson-Harrell previously served as Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner’s supervisor for the office’s Victim/Witness Services Unit, starting when Krasner took office in 2018.
That is NOT something to be proud of. Krasner is a corrupt Soros-backed DA who enabled a murderer to go free. Read the details about that story here.
More about Johnson-Harrell’s situation from MSN:
“Johnson-Harrell traveled a bumpy road to the Democratic nomination in the 190th Legislative District.
She won the nomination despite being the party establishment’s third choice for the seat, after The Inquirer’s Clout column raised questions about whether the first two Democratic contenders lived in the district.
Her campaign was also buffeted by her history of financial troubles, including a shuttered business and a federal bankruptcy filing from November 2018.
In it, she cited $607,429 in liabilities, including a $465,000 default judgment from a loan secured by the properties where she ran a personal-care home that she closed last year. She has also been the subject of liens for unpaid Philadelphia property taxes.”

Another demorat-run city, another corrupt demorat exposed.
Remember in 2018 when Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenny (demorat) was videotaped dancing to celebrate their “sanctuary city win?”
I wonder if the good mayor is celebrating the sexual abuse of children after an illegal alien was released by his city police due to HIS sanctuary-approved policy?
From an ICE press release dated November 27:
“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested unlawfully present Guatemalan national for sexual abuse against children after he was released from police custody. This was the second time Philadelphia Police Department released this sexual predator onto the streets, despite an ICE detainer lodged against him in both cases.
Hector Moran-Espinoza was arrested April 2, by the Philadelphia Police Department for involuntary deviate sexual intercourse by forcible compulsion, unlawful contact with a minor-sexual offenses, statuary sexual assault, endangering the welfare of children-parent or guardian commits offense, corruption of minors, indecent assault-without the consent of other person, reckless endangerment of another person, rape by forceable compulsion, sexual abuse of children-photographing, videotaping, depicting on a computer or filming sexual acts, and aggravated indecent assault without consent.
May 9, Moran was again arrested by the Philadelphia Police Department for unlawful contact with a minor-sexual offenses, corruption of minors, indecent assault of a person under 13 years of age, reckless endangerment of another person, and endangering the welfare of a child-parent or guardian commits offense.
In both cases, ICE’s Philadelphia Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) lodged an immigration detainer on Moran the same day of the arrest, and each time Philadelphia Police Department did not honor this detainer and released this predator onto the streets.
“We are seeing politicians put their political agendas above the safety of the citizens they serve,” said ICE Philadelphia Field Office Director Simona Flores-Lund. “The victims in this case are young children, whose lives are now forever changed. This monster was released not once, but twice, without notifying ICE. We are committed to strengthening our relationship with local law enforcement, as we want nothing more than to keep our communities safe.”
By releasing a criminal with multiple offenses, the Philadelphia Police Department is putting their city at risk by letting this individual roam free to potentially harm the most vulnerable, our children.”

In November 2015 former demorat Seattle Mayor Ed Murray (who resigned due to child sex abuse allegations) declared an emergency and announced new investments to respond to homelessness. Between the city and King County, they initially pledged $7.3M to address the crisis.
Fast forward to 2019 and this is the state of the homeless crisis in King County:
Number of homeless: 11,199 (down 8% from previous year)
Total spent in 2017: $195 million
Estimated annual price tag to solve homeless crisis: $1 BILLION
So what is the Seattle bureaucrats’ new solution? A new government bureaucracy between the city and county called, “King County Regional Homelessness Authority.”
According to current demorat Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan, “Today marks the start of a new era.”
Philadelphia Mayor, demorat Jim Kenney, has a homeless problem, too. An article from January of this year explains that at a July count (I’m assuming from 2018) found that the number of homeless had more than doubled from the previous year’s count.
And of course we know about the homeless crises in Portland, Los Angeles and San Francisco. And the horrendous conditions to be found on their streets: urine, feces, rats and needles. And bonus: Diseases such as typhus and leprosy.
Funny how all the cities experiencing such catastrophes are demorat-run cities.
In essence, NONE OF THESE CITIES has been able to comprehensively and effectively deal with the homeless problems in their cities despite spending MILLIONS and MILLIONS of taxpayer dollars.
Seattle Mayor Durkan and Philadelphia Mayor penned a piece on the homeless for Politico entitled, “Don’t let Trump take the lead on housing.”
The sub headline reads, “Housing affordability is a big issue in cities like ours. Democrats should debate it more.”
Yeah, more talk is EXACTLY what is needed…
Excerpts from their opinion piece:
“Walk through any major city today, and it’s easy to see why housing affordability and homelessness are top concerns across the country. Minimum wage workers are relying on food banks and overnight shelters. Unsheltered veterans, families and neighbors are living in desperate, unsanitary conditions. Students leaving school after the final bell meet their parents and siblings where they live together: in their cars, unable to find affordable homes. Too many families in cities like ours are now living in cars, vans or RVs.
Last week, the Washington Post reported that President Donald Trump is ordering a “crackdown” on homelessness and that his aides have been mulling the possibility of the federal government moving into cities to round up people experiencing homelessness. This week, Trump’s Council of Economic Advisors released a report that focuses on misleading assertions that this crisis could be cured by deregulation of the housing market. Afterward, the president visited California and spread more false narratives about the problem of homelessness.
Let’s be clear: Cities have been asking for help. We desperately need collaboration from the federal government, with its unique ability to catalyze fundamental policy change and make investments at the scale the problem demands. But instead of looking for ways to support and partner with America’s cities to help solve this human crisis, Trump hurls insults, floats poisonous policy proposals and pushes sensational headlines, not solutions. It is time to end this political game.
But at the same time as the president is blaming cities for the problem, he is ignoring how the federal government is contributing to it. For instance, his administration has cut resources for health care, mental health programs and housing, and those cuts are feeding the roots of this crisis. In the meantime, cities have had no choice but to become the social safety net. Mayors across the country are spending unprecedented local taxpayer dollars to build affordable housing, roll out new rental assistance for low-income households, propose new renter eviction protections, and create an emergency homelessness response system of shelters, meal programs, and outreach services.”
Read the whole thing here.
Of course in the end they ask for more federal funding. They ALWAYS need more taxpayer dollars to solve anything.
The last sentence of their opinion piece states, “U.S. mayors are ready to work with Congress and the current and future administrations to address the housing crisis that our voters want us to solve.”
This is rich considering that the title of their piece highlights their TDS. I highly doubt they are sincere in their desire to collaborate with the current administration (make sure to watch the video above where Mayor Kenney states President Trump “frightens him). They just want him to write a blank taxpayer check.
These cities have had YEARS and MILLIONS of dollars to try and solve their problems. The reality is that their cities have turned into sh*tholes.
Putting their TDS on display only reinforces they hypocritical stance that it’s time to “end this political game.”
From Fox News: Former Vice President Joe Biden made another gaffe on Tuesday, this time suggesting that his child tax credit plan will put “720 million women” back into the workforce.
Speaking at the Workers’ Presidential Summit in Philadelphia, the 2020 frontrunner mocked the idea of having a tax break for “a racehorse” and not one for having children.
“You get a tax break for a racehorse, why in God’s name couldn’t we provide an $8,000 tax credit for everybody who has childcare costs?” Biden told the crowd. “It would put 720 million women back in the workforce. It would increase the GDP, to sound like a wonk here, by about eight-tenths of one percent. It would grow the economy.”
According to the U.S. Census, there are 330 million people living in the country.
Biden’s gaffes have recently been targeted by the Trump campaign in a new video questioning his fitness to lead.
The web video, tweeted Tuesday morning by campaign manager Brad Parscale and shared first with Fox News, stitches together everything from his recent debate-stage musing about “record players” to his statement that “poor kids” are just as talented as “white kids.” Interspersed with the clips of the 76-year-old Biden’s comments are those of pundits wondering about his stumbles, shakiness, mental and physical stamina, whether he’s “lost a step” and whether he’s “equipped for a very grueling campaign.”
The former vice president’s age and mental acuity have been questioned ever since he launched his 2020 presidential campaign in late April. Last week, the front-runner in the Democratic nomination race faced repeated attacks from rivals over his memory.
Former Housing Secretary Julian Castro, who served in the Obama administration with Biden, landed arguably the lowest blow when he swiped at Biden’s memory — accusing him of contradicting himself on whether Americans would have to buy into his health care plan.
“You just said two minutes ago they would have to buy in. Are you forgetting what you said two minutes ago?” Castro asked, in what appeared to be a reference to past senior moments by Biden.
In that case, as the Biden campaign later noted, Castro was wrong. Biden did not say during the debate that individuals would have to buy in. Instead, he said that individuals would automatically be enrolled if they lost their jobs.
But Biden has drawn criticism for other stumbles. And another rival, Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, backed Castro after the debate and raised further questions about Biden’s ability to carry the banner for the Democrats into 2020.
“I think we are at a tough point right now, because there’s a lot of people concerned about Joe Biden’s ability to carry the ball all the way across the end line without fumbling,” Booker told CNN in an interview. “And I think that Castro had really legitimate concerns about can he be someone in a long grueling campaign… and has every right to call out.”
This story is from February 2019 yet I thought it appropriate to highlight given the rise in Antifa’s violence and the demorats who support them.
I was not able to confirm if Alcoff is still in jail. He must be out on bail awaiting trial.
From Fox News: What a difference a year made for Joseph Alcoff.
On Monday, the 37-year-old has a court date in connection with charges he’s facing in Philadelphia that include aggravated assault and ethnic intimidation for allegedly being part of an Antifa mob in November that attacked two Marines, Alejandro Godinez and Luis Torres, both Hispanic. Alcoff and two others charged in the attack have pleaded not guilty.
But while Democratic officials are distancing themselves from Alcoff now, until recently he was a well-connected, aspiring political player in Washington who may have even had a hand in key policy proposals.
His endorsement apparently mattered when several congressional Democrats in February 2018 issued press releases with his quote backing their bill on regulating payday lenders.
As the payday campaign manager for the liberal group Americans for Financial Reform, Alcoff participated in congressional Democratic press conferences, was a guest on a House Democratic podcast and met with senior officials at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from 2016 through 2018.
He was also pictured with now-House Financial Services Committee Chairwoman Maxine Waters, D-Calif., and ranking Democrat on the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio. Both committees oversee financial regulatory policies Alcoff was advocating.
Alcoff met with then CFPB Director Richard Cordray and other senior CFPB officials on April 2016, again in March 2017 and a third time in May 2017, as first reported by the Washington Free Beacon. During this time, he reportedly was an Antifa leader in Washington.
Alcoff’s former employer had little to say about the matter. “As of December, Mr. Alcoff no longer works for AFR,” Carter Dougherty, spokesman for Americans for Financial Reform, told Fox News in an email.
Dougherty didn’t answer whether Alcoff had been fired or resigned. He also didn’t answer whether the organization was aware of Alcoff’s associations during his employment.
Alcoff was reportedly also an organizer for Smash Racism DC, the group responsible for gathering and shouting threats outside the home of Fox News host Tucker Carlson in November and for heckling Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and his wife Heidi at a Washington restaurant in September. Reports have not said Alcoff was directly involved in either incident; only that he was associated with the group.
Democrats are hardly eager to be associated with Alcoff now. Most spokespersons for Democratic members of Congress did not respond to inquiries from Fox News, or distanced themselves from Alcoff.
In one appearance, Alcoff dressed up as “Lenny the Loan Shark” at an event last March held outside the CFPB headquarters, which featured Rep. Don Beyer, D-Va.
“The congressman has never interacted with him nor has he taken any financial policy advice from him. Their names have appeared on the same piece of paper,” Beyer spokesman Aaron Fritschner told Fox News. “He appeared at the same press conference, but they didn’t speak to each other. This person was literally wearing a shark outfit.”
In the February 2018 press statement, House and Senate Democrats co-sponsoring the Stopping Abuse and Fraud in Electronic (SAFE) Lending Act, which boosted regulation on payday lenders, issued versions of a press release, most including the Alcoff quote.
The Consumer Bureau and Congress have in the past understood the way that payday lenders structure loans to catch Americans in a cycle of debt with exorbitant interest rates,” Alcoff said in the press releases. “It is unfortunate that some in Washington would rather open the loan shark gates than continue to think about sensible borrower protections. The SAFE Lending Act would put Washington back on track to stop the debt trap.”
In August, Alcoff was a guest on the House Democrats’ Joint Economic Committee podcast, criticizing the decline of the CFPB under the Trump administration. “It’s been an incredible kind of erosion [Trump administration actions] recently, but these are really, really important basic functions [CFPB’s mission] that people across the country should be able to look to Washington and expect,” Alcoff said on the podcast.
In connection with the subsequent attack in Philadelphia, the two Hispanic Marines said the Antifa mob of about 10 or 12 attackers shouted racial slurs during the beating. Only three from the mob were identified and arrested. The attack happened at the same time as a right-wing rally in Philadelphia, which Antifa showed up to protest. The Marines who were assaulted said they were not even aware of the rally.
“On one side, you have the Proud Boys, a racist group of Nazi thugs. On the other side, you have anti-racist activists,” Alcoff’s lawyer Michael Coard told Philadelphia Magazine. “Unfortunately, in the mix, there were two Marines who were caught up in the whole thing as innocent bystanders.”
Coard, an African American activist in Philadelphia, also told the magazine regarding the alleged slurs, “The question that I have for the D.A.’s office and the police is this: Does anybody think that I, Michael Coard, would represent a racist? … I would never represent a racist. In fact, if I believed that he was a racist, I would prosecute him myself.”
From Fox News: The Philadelphia mayor, blasted by the White House after being filmed dancing in celebration after a judge ruled in favor of its sanctuary city status, was doing so because it was an “important moment for all Philadelphians,” his office said Friday, despite the city’s recent history of illegal immigrant alien-related crime.
A video tweeted by Mayor James Kenney’s deputy chief of staff showed him giddy after U.S. District Judge Michael Baylson ruled Wednesday that the Trump administration can’t withhold grants to the city over policies that limit local law enforcement’s cooperation with federal immigration officials.
“Mayor Kenney displayed excitement because it was an important moment for all Philadelphians, especially our immigrant community,” Deana Gamble, his communications director, told Fox News on Friday.
Gamble said the city’s policies are designed to ensure individuals’ constitutional rights are protected. “Philadelphia does not protect or harbor criminals and the judge also found that Philadelphia has historically cooperated [with] federal law enforcement agencies in fighting crime, which is beyond dispute and widely known,” she added.
Philadelphia previously has said it will only hand illegal immigrants over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents if they show a warrant signed by a judge.
But ICE, as recently as May, have been carrying out operations in the Philadelphia metro region that it says target “criminal aliens, public safety threats, and individuals who have violated our nation’s immigration laws.”
“Many people in Philadelphia have been killed, raped or assaulted at the hands of criminal illegal aliens,” White House spokesman Hogan Gidley told Fox News yesterday, calling Kenney’s dance “disgusting.”
Outside of the raids, illegal immigrants aliens who have committed crimes or fugitives who have been deported from the Philadelphia area in recent years include:
Federal authorities said they swept up 49 immigrants in the Philadelphia metro area in late May of this year during a “targeted enforcement operation” aimed at “criminal aliens, immigration fugitives, re-entrants, and other immigration violators.”
“This operation resulted in multiple arrests of criminal aliens, public safety threats, and individuals who have violated our nation’s immigration laws,” Philadelphia Acting Field Office Director Gregory Brawley said after the sweep. “Some of these dangerous individuals had been released to the streets instead of being turned over to ICE on our detainers, which compromises the safety of the homeland that ICE officers strive to protect every day.”
ICE did not reveal the identities of those taken into custody, but said they included a 52-year-old Mexican illegal immigrant alien who was charged with simple assault and terroristic threats, and a 26-year-old Haitian illegal immigrant alien who had been “convicted in the Common Pleas Court at Philadelphia, of robbery, possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault, and criminal attempt-theft by unlawful taking.”

Number should be much higher but it’s a good start. Bonus: it upsets libtards.
From Fox News: As part of a massive illegal immigration sweep, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced Thursday that officials this week arrested nearly 500 illegal immigrants living in sanctuary cities across the country.
The raid, referred to as “Operation ‘Safe City’” in a news release, spanned four days in cities through the U.S., and ended Wednesday.
Illegal immigrants with criminal charges or known gang-affiliations were targeted, the release said, noting that recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program were not.
In Philadelphia, 107 illegal immigrants were arrested, while 101 were arrested in Los Angeles and 45 people were arrested in New York.
The release noted that 18 of the 498 people arrested were gang members or have gang affiliations.
A Mexican illegal immigrant in Los Angeles who was arrested is a member of the Colonia Chiques gang, a group dubbed one of the “largest and deadliest gangs” in southern California’s Ventura County by the FBI.
That immigrant, who was found with a handgun, allegedly rammed a number of law enforcement vehicles in an attempt to escape from authorities.
Sanctuary cities — or cities that don’t cooperate with federal immigration policy — have become a heated topic as the Trump administration has pushed for a stronger crackdown on illegal immigration.
Even though ICE has said arrests of illegal immigrants are up 43 percent since this time last year, deportation numbers are down, according to The Washington Post.
Works for me.
From NY Post: The US Department of Justice on Friday gave New York City and eight other local governments that provide “sanctuary” to illegal immigrants until June 30 to prove they’re not violating federal law by refusing to cooperate with immigration authorities.
The ultimatums from President Trump’s administration were accompanied by an accusation that many of the targeted jurisdictions are “crumbling under the weight of illegal immigration and violent crime.”
“New York City continues to see gang murder after gang murder, the predictable consequence of the city’s ‘soft on crime’ stance,” the DOJ said in a news release.
A related letter to the director of Mayor Bill de Blasio’s Office of Criminal Justice warns that the feds could withhold funding, suspend or terminate grants, declare the city ineligible for future funding or take “other action, as appropriate.”
A City Hall spokesman called the threat “nothing new.”
“This grandstanding shows how out of touch the Trump administration is with reality,” spokesman Seth Stein said.
“Contrary to their alternative facts, New York is the safest big city in the country, with crime at record lows in large part because we have policies in place to encourage cooperation between NYPD and immigrant communities.”
Letters were also sent to officials in Chicago, New Orleans, Philadelphia and Miami; Clark County, Nev.; Milwaukee County, Wis.; Cook County, Ill., and the state of California.
