Fiscal Cliff averted! And What’s wrong with this story?

The White House and congressional leaders have reached a deal to avert the fiscal cliff, a Democratic source familiar with the negotiations confirmed. The agreement includes a two-month delay of the sequester, which had been scheduled to begin on Jan. 2. President Barack Obama spoke with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi about the agreement and both leaders have signed off on it, according to the source.

Does Any one happen to see John Boehner’s name anywhere in this drivel?

Breaking News! Members of Super Committee Named

Hello, America. This is in my opinion the most outrageous move yet. Certainly Unconstitutional. Umm, needs to be stopped or we are gone. Any ideas?

I have a post following this which is all about this and the damage it will do: “The Federal Government Declares War on the Nation”

Speaker John Boehner has appointed Ways and Means Chairman Dave Camp (R-Mich.), Energy and Commerce Chairman Fred Upton (R-Mich.) and Republican Conference Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas) as the House GOP members of the deficit reduction “super committee.” Hensarling will be co-chairman of the committee.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell also announced Wednesday the Senate Republican members: Jon Kyl of Arizona, Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania and Rob Portman of Ohio.

On Tuesday, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced the Senate Democratic members of the committee: Patty Murray of Washington, John Kerry of Massachusetts and Max Baucus of Montana. Murray will be the other co-chair.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has yet to name the House Democratic members of the committee.

Breaking News – GOP Surrenders, Again

POLITICO Breaking News
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) says the White House and Hill Republicans are “very close” to a $3 trillion debt ceiling deal/ that would include a two-step process to approve an immediate hike in the nation’s borrowing power and a second vote later that would require two-thirds of Congress to disapprove of a new increase.

The process, McConnell told CNN, would fulfill Obama‘s demand that any deal take him “through the next election” and include a bipartisan commission to recommend new cuts and revenue enhancement that would report its findings by Thanksgiving.

AND THAT MY FRIENDS IS SURRENDER. Excuse me, but “It Would Fulfill Skippy’s Demand?” That’s it. Skippy wins and we the people have just been pissed on again.

One Very Pissed Off Steve…and I hope the rest of the Country
