Kim Jong-Un's death scene in Sony's axed movie "The Interview"

For North Korea’s bullying that resulted in Sony Pictures Entertainment pulling the movie The Interview from movie screens, see “North Korea bullies Hollywood; Sony wusses out; Obama useless“.
Since Sony, by buckling under Pyongyang’s threats, is willing to swallow $41 million to $55 million in lost revenue, Sony should just release the movie free online. That’s the best way to defeat North Korea’s bullying.

North Korea bullies Hollywood; Sony wusses out; Obama useless

Kim Jong-UnHere’s looking at you, Dictator and uncle-killer Kim Jong Un!

I have no fondness for Hollywood, but we’re now in a new era when foreign governments like North Korea wield veto power over whether a Hollywood-made movie is screened.
The movie is Sony Pictures Entertainment’s The Interview, an “action comedy” flick starring Seth Rogen and James Franco as journalists instructed to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong-un (played by Randall Park) after successfully booking an interview with him.
The Interview
On June 25, 2014, Korean Central News Agency—the state-run news agency of North Korea — condemned the movie and promised a “decisive and merciless countermeasure” if The Interview were to be released, stating that “making and releasing a film that portrays an attack on our top-level leadership is the most blatant act of terrorism and war and will absolutely not be tolerated.”
In November 2014, the computer systems of parent company Sony Pictures Entertainment were hacked by a group that calls itself with no hint of irony “Guardians of Peace.” Federal investigators have confirmed that the group has ties to North Korea.
The North Korean hackers leaked several upcoming Sony films, as well as embarrassing emails in which producers bad-mouthed actors like Angelina Jolie (“minimally talented spoiled brat”) and Leonardo di Caprio, and made “racist” remarks about Barack Obama.
On December 16, 2014, the hackers raised their ante, threatening to carry out terrorist attacks against cinemas that screen The Interview, which originally was scheduled for release on December 25.
A day later, Sony buckled under the pressure.
From the AP, Dec. 17, 2014:

Under the threat of terrorist attacks from hackers and with the nation’s largest multiplex chains pulling the film from its screens, Sony Pictures Entertainment took the unprecedented step of canceling the Dec. 25 release of the The Interview.

The cancellation, announced Wednesday, was a startling blow to the Hollywood studio that has been shaken by hacker leaks and intimidations over the last several weeks by an anonymous group calling itself Guardians of Peace.

A U.S. official said Wednesday that federal investigators have now connected the Sony hacking to North Korea and are expected to make an announcement in the near future. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the official was not authorized to openly discuss an ongoing criminal case.

Sony said it was canceling The Interview release “in light of the decision by the majority of our exhibitors not to show the film.” In a later statement, the studio added there was also no DVD or VOD in the works, either. “Sony Pictures has no further release plans for the film,” a studio spokesman said.

The studio said it respected and shared in exhibitors’ concerns.

“We are deeply saddened at this brazen effort to suppress the distribution of a movie, and in the process do damage to our company, our employees, and the American public,” read the statement. “We stand by our filmmakers and their right to free expression and are extremely disappointed by this outcome.”

Earlier Wednesday, Regal Cinemas, AMC Entertainment and Cinemark Theatres — the three top theater chains in North America — announced that they were postponing any showings of The Interview….

“This attack went to the heart and core of Sony’s business — and succeeded,” said Avivah Litan, a cybersecurity analyst at research firm Gartner. “We haven’t seen any attack like this in the annals of U.S. breach history.”

…Sony was also under pressure from other studios whose Christmas films could have been concern over movie going safety. Christmas is one of the most important box office weekends of the year….

Doug Stone, president of film industry newsletter Box Office Analyst, had predicted that The Interview could have made $75 million to $100 million. With Sony taking about 55 percent of domestic revenues, that could mean a $41 million to $55 million revenue loss, according to Stone….

Sony’s announcement was met with widespread distress across Hollywood and throughout many other realms watching the attack on Sony unfold. A former senior national security official in the George W. Bush administration said Sony made the wrong decision. “When you are confronted with a bully the idea is not to cave but to punch him in the nose,” Fran Townsend, Bush’s homeland security adviser, said Wednesday during a previously scheduled appearance in Washington, D.C. “This is a horrible, I think, horrible precedent.”

And where and what is Obama, Hollywood’s darling and recipient of Hollyweirdos’ multimillion $ campaign donations, doing about North Korea’s bullying?
Nothing, of course. He’s too busy with his annual winter vacation in balmy Hawaii.
Hey, Hollyweirdos! You really should look up the meaning of “useful idiots“!

And Today We Bring You The Latest On Kim Jong-Un

Yup, Gonna Nuke The White House he says. And in other news…..

download

Go ahead. I don't care. :)

Go ahead. I don’t care. 🙂

Seoul (AFP) – A top-ranking North Korean military official has threatened a nuclear strike on the White House and Pentagon after accusing Washington of raising military tensions on the Korean peninsula.

The threat came from Hwang Pyong-So, director of the military’s General Political Bureau, during a speech to a large military rally in Pyongyang Sunday on the anniversary of the armistice that ended the 1950-53 Korean War.

Hwang, who holds the rank of vice marshal in the Korean People’s Army, said a recent series of South Korea-US military drills, one of which included the deployment of a nuclear-powered US aircraft carrier, had ramped up tensions.

“If the US imperialists threaten our sovereignty and survival… our troops will fire our nuclear-armed rockets at the White House and the Pentagon — the sources of all evil,” Hwang said in his speech broadcast Monday on state television.

It is not the first time that North Korea’s bellicose rhetoric has included threats of nuclear strikes on the continental United States and US bases in the Pacific.

But most experts believe it is still a long way from developing a viable intercontinental ballistic missile with the required range.

Hey At Least We're Not The Only Schmucks.

KimJong-un

Kim Jung Un had NO military experience whatsoever before Daddy made him a four-star general.
This snot-nosed twerp had never accomplished anything in his life that would even come close to military leadership.
He hadn’t even so much as led a Cub Scout troop, coached a sports team, or commanded a military platoon.
So he is made the “Beloved Leader” Of North Korea.
Terrific!
————————————————————————————–
I’m sorry.
I just remembered that we did the same thing.
We took an arrogant bastard community organizer, who had never worn a uniform, and made him Commander-in-Chief.
A guy, who had never had a real job, worked on a budget, or led anything more than an ACORN demonstration, and we made him “Beloved Leader” of the United States
TWICE !!!
I’m sorry I brought this up.
Never mind.

North Korea's Kim: Another socialist dictator with multimillions in assets

The world sure is a strange place.
Socialist Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan dictator whose recent demise broke socialist Sean Penn’s heart, died with a family fortune worth $2 billion. (Socialist Sean Penn has an estimated net worth of $150 million.)
Similarly, the personal fortunes of the socialist Castro brothers (Fidel and Raúl) in socialist Cuba are estimated to be about $2 billion.
Now comes news that the socialist young leader of the socialist and increasingly belligerent North Korea has a slush fund of hundreds of millions of dollars secreted in bank accounts all over the world. This, in a country where reportedly, many are starving and driven to cannibalism because of years of famine and government mismanagement.

North Korea's new leader: Kim "Porky Pig" Jong Un

North Korea’s leader: Kim “Porky Pig” Jong Un

Chosun.com reports, March 11, 2013, that South Korean and U.S. authorities have found dozens of accounts presumed to belong to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in several banks in Shanghai and other parts of China. They contain hundreds of millions of dollars.
Yet for some reason the accounts were excluded from financial sanctions under the new UN Security Council Resolution 2098, posing questions over the effectiveness of the measures.
A government source in South Korea said an investigation that lasted for several years led South Korea and the U.S. to the accounts: “We have located the names of the account holders and account numbers, some of them set up in the days of former North Korean leader Kim Jong-il.”
South Korean and U.S. officials urged China to include the accounts in the latest sanctions against North Korea, but Beijing apparently refused.
In 2005, the U.S. froze US$25 million Kim Jong-il had deposited in some 50 accounts at Macau’s Banco Delta Asia. North Korea hit back by boycotting the six-party nuclear talks, launching a long-range missile and conducting its first nuclear test in 2006.

Americans think Obama too liberal; fear his reelection 2 to 1

Clueless French people feeding Obama's narcissism at the Hotel de Ville, Cannes, France (photo by Pete Souza/White House)

Americans perceive Obama as too liberal and they do not want four more years of “Hope and Change.” — unlike the nauseating adoring French crowd in the pic above. But then, what do they know? The French don’t live in America.
Those are the findings of two new polls.
A new USA Today/Gallup survey asks Americans to rate their own ideology on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being the most liberal and 5 being the most conservative.
On average, they rated Obama as 2.3, whereas they rated themselves as more conservative, with the mean score for Americans of 3.3. A whopping 42% of Americans describe themselves as very conservative or conservative. Only 19% describe themselves as very liberal or liberal; 37% call themselves moderates.
A U.S. News nationwide poll finds that Americans, by a 2-1 margin, fear Obama’s re-election.
Paul Bedard reports, January 9, 2012, that when asked what news event they fear most about 2012, 33% of Americans say they fear four more years of Obama, whereas only 16% say they fear Obama won’t win a second term.
Consistent with a pattern established in the 2008 election that catapulted a junior U.S. senator with a murky unvetted past to the White House, younger Americans are less fearful about 4 more years of Obama. Just 28% of Americans 18-24 years old fear a re-elected Obama, in contrast to nearly half of Americans 65 and older who say Obama’s reelection is their top fear.
Here are the results of the U.S. News poll of a national sample of 1,000 households, conducted December 29-January by the global market research firm Synovate eNation:

As we enter the presidential election year of 2012, what potential news event do you fear the most?

  • Taxes will increase 31%
  • Iran will get a nuclear weapon 16%
  • Obama will lose reelection 16%
  • North Korea will attack South Korea 4%

Given these poll findings, 2012 is an election for the Republicans to lose. Alas, the GOP does have a remarkable facility of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Ding Dong! Kim Jong Is Dead

AP is reporting that Dingdongramalamadingdong is toast. So sad. Too bad. Not!

~Steve

North Korean leader Kim Jong Il dead at age 69
PYONGYANG, North Korea (AP) — Kim Jong Il, North Korea’s mercurial and enigmatic longtime leader, has died of heart failure. He was 69.
In a “special broadcast” Monday from the North Korean capital, state media said Kim died of a heart ailment on a train due to a “great mental and physical strain” on Dec. 17 during a “high intensity field inspection.” It said an autopsy was done on Dec. 18 and “fully confirmed” the diagnosis.
Kim is believed to have suffered a stroke in 2008, but he had appeared relatively vigorous in photos and video from recent trips to China and Russia and in numerous trips around the country carefully documented by state media. The communist country‘s “Dear Leader” – reputed to have had a taste for cigars, cognac and gourmet cuisine – was believed to have had diabetes and heart disease.

OWS is a Hard-Left Oikophobe Movement

“You will know them by their fruits.” -Matthew 7:15

Former Congressman Tom Tancredo sounds the warning on his blog that the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement not only is a hard left-wing movement, it has turned violent and therfore has become a “homeland security issue”.
As proof of OWS’s hard left character, let’s look at who its supporters are, beginning with the regime in North Korea, the last redoubt of diehard communism in the world today.
On October 18, 2011, the government of psychopath “Dear Leader” Kim Jong Il released a statement praising OWS for facilitating “the working masses’ struggle against capitalism”:

“The Occupy Wall St[reet] movement was an eruption of the exploited classes’ pent-up wrath at the exploiters. It was also an expression of the will to remove the stronghold of capitalism as a whole which brings only exploitation, oppression, unemployment and poverty to the popular masses … [in a] corrupt society where the rich get ever richer and the poor get ever poorer.”

Then there are these left-wing activist organizations and labor unions in the United States which support OWS (from Discover the Networks):

North Korea and the groups above would have us believe that OWS is a struggle by “the working masses” and the “exploited classes.” You mean such as the “exploited” “working class” individuals below? (Most of the following names are from Discover the Networks; some are from my post “Who Are the Top 1%?“. Most of the estimated net worth figures are from Celebrity Net Worth):

These individuals are no more “working class” folk than I am. Unlike me, however, most of the people above have net worths that make them members of the “top 1%” — the supposed target of the Occupy Wall Street movement. And yet, they vocally support the “we are the 99%” OWS movement.
As Bill Whittle explains in his video, they are oikophobes — the products of an affluent America (see “OWS is Occupy Envy“), who hate America and Americans. Is it any wonder that the OWS movement — the product of a psychological and spiritual pathology — has become a pathological stew of internecine squabbling, rat and lice infestation, public defecation, rapetheft, robbery, smearing urine and blood on a food-vendor’s cart, andphysical assault on the elderly?
“By their actions, you will know them.” -Matthew 7:15

Joint Chiefs of Staff React to Obama's SOTU

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFj0k9x5VBA]
America is fighting two wars — in Afghanistan and supposedly winding down in Iraq. North Korea continues to be bellicose. China is a rising power with territorial ambitions in the East and South China Seas, holding $895.6 billion in U.S. treasury securities as of November 2010. Meanwhile, the Arabic world is in open rebellion — from Tunisia to Egypt, thousands are in the streets demanding regime change.
But Obama thinks this is precisely the right moment to play social engineering with the U.S. military.
Don’t you think that the Joint Chiefs of Staff know more about the military than this man-without-a-birth-certificate who has never served in the military, had never fought in a war, and who throws a ball like a girl?
