Demorat intern arrested after doxxing GOP senators, faces 50 years in prison

Good. Make an example out of this unhinged demorat.

From Fox News: The arrest of a Democratic congressional intern this week for allegedly publishing the private information of three Republican lawmakers, with police investigating more possible incidents, underscores what has become an increasingly confrontational approach by the anti-Trump ‘resistance.’

Jackson Cosko, who recently worked as an unpaid intern for Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, was arrested for posting the personal information of Sens. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., Mike Lee, R-Utah, and Orrin Hatch, R-Utah on Wikipedia — including their home addresses.

Fox News learned Wednesday that Capitol Hill police are investigating additional doxxing incidents involving at least two senators, including Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky. It was not clear if Cosko — who worked with other Democratic lawmakers including Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-N.H., and former Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif. — was involved.

Cosko had worked in a host of roles in the House and Senate, including as press assistant and legislative correspondent, according to his LinkedIn page.

Former Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz said on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom” Thursday that the wide range of charges against Cosko, including witness tampering and burglary, suggests there could be more to the case than meets the eye.

“With seven different charges out there, it really does makes it sound like it’s more sophisticated and widespread because now you see Sen. Rand Paul is also having issues,” he said, although he added that it wasn’t clear if Cosko was connected to the Paul case.

While it was not clear what the motivation was behind the posting of personal information (known as “doxxing”), Graham, Lee and Hatch have been outspoken defenders of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh amid sexual assault allegations against him. The doxxing on Thursday came moments after Graham had scorched Senate Democrats in a fiery speech for what he called “an unethical sham” in their treatment of Kavanaugh.

The incident marks the latest in escalating attacks against Republican lawmakers and Trump administration officials — particularly in relation to the Kavanaugh controversy — by far left-wing activists, which have occasionally picked up the support of Democratic lawmakers.

A day after the doxxing, two female activists cornered Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., in an elevator on Friday and screamed at him, with one of them repeatedly demanding he look at her as she accused him of suggesting her own sexual assault “doesn’t matter.”

Moments later, Flake demanded an FBI investigation into the accusations against Kavanaugh — forcing GOP leaders, faced with little room for error on Senate votes, to accede. It was not clear if the dressing down caused Flake to waver, but he later told The Atlantic that the incident “struck a chord.”

Days earlier on Monday, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and his wife Heidi were hounded out of a restaurant by protesters peppering the senator with questions about Kavanaugh and chanting “we believe survivors” and “cancel Kavanaugh.” His Democratic opponent in the Texas Senate race, Beto O’Rouke, condemned the incident and said his family “should be treated with respect.”

The tactic of hounding lawmakers and Trump officials out of restaurants became more prevalent in June, when White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen were driven out of restaurants amid the backlash over the separation of illegal immigrant families at the border.

That move was encouraged by Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., who days later called on supporters to confront Trump officials in public spaces.

“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” she told a crowd.

In July, Sen. Cory Booker, D-NJ., who recently compared himself to Thracian gladiator Spartacus, told supporters to go to Capitol Hill and “get in the face of some congresspeople.”

This week, Republicans have been pushing back against such tactics. Some have pointed to the shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La., at a Republican baseball practice last year as a reminder of how heated rhetoric can lead to much worse.

Kelley Paul, the wife of Sen. Paul, wrote in an open letter to Sen. Booker, saying that she now keeps a loaded gun by her bed after her family has “experienced violence and threats of violence at a horrifying level.”

“I would call on you to retract your statement,” she said. “I would call on you to condemn violence, the leaking of elected officials’ personal addresses (our address was leaked from a Senate directory given only to senators), and the intimidation and threats that are being hurled at them and their families.”

The Daily Caller reported that Sen. David Perdue, R-Ga., and his wife were chased through Reagan National Airport by activists — who kept yelling at him even as he tried to use the bathroom.

On the Senate floor on Wednesday, Perdue blamed Democrats for inciting such behavior, and read quotes he said were inciting harassment of Republicans in public.

“This is America, but these are the tactics of the Brownshirts in Germany in the 1930s, Mr. President,” he said. “Unacceptable. Totally irresponsible.”

According to the Washington Examiner, Cosko could face 50 years in federal prison.

Message from “Smash Racism DC” to Ted Cruz and Trump supporters: “You are not safe”

Remember folks, #LoveTrumpsHate!

This group, Smash Racism DC, decided to harass Senator Cruz and his wife last night at a restaurant because of their TDS and libtard butthurt. The temper tantrums continue…

From the deranged group’s Twitter account:

  • No—you can’t eat in peace—your politics are an attack on all of us You’re votes are a death wish. Your votes are hate crimes. Tonight Senator Ted Cruz arrived at Fiola, an upscale restaurant mere steps from the White House, to enjoy a hearty Italian dinner.
  • He could have dined on a lavish four course meal for only $145 while millions of Americans struggle to buy groceries. He might have sampled from the top shelf wine list as migrant children languish in cages.
  • He’d have laughed with his wife while women and members of the LGBTQ community collectively gasp in horror as Senator Cruz pushes forward on Bret Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination. At least he could have had activists not interrupted his evening just as he was being seated.
  • Instead, activists from Smash Racism DC, Resist This, DC IWW, members of DC Democratic Socialists of America, Anarchists, women, sexual assault survivors, and members of the LGBTQ community interrupted Ted Cruz’s peaceful meal.
  • While our interruption does not compare in scale to the interruptions his actions as a Senator have had on millions of American lives, we hope that it reminds Cruz and others like him that they are not safe from the people they have hurt.
  • This is a message to Ted Cruz, Bret Kavanaugh, Donald Trump and the rest of the racist, sexist, transphobic, and homophobic right-wing scum: You are not safe. We will find you. We will expose you. We will take from you the peace you have taken from so many others.
  • Sincerely, Some Anti Fascist Hooligans. We demand a world free of sexual violence, and state violence. We want a world without prisons, borders, or capitalism. You should be embarrassed for existing.

Sorry, losers: I’m not embarrassed for existing. Nor for supporting President Trump and Brett Kavanaugh (BTW, it’s not “Bret” you idiots.)

And if anyone of you “anti-fascist” hooligans tries to get in my face and harass me, well, you’ve been warned. Because if this girl feels threatened and unsafe, I will not be embarrassed to exercise a certain God-given right.

Ageist: Rosie O’Donnell calls for senior GOP politicians to retire

From Fox News: Rosie O’Donnell took to Twitter to mock the age of prominent Republicans, calling on Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley and Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, to retire – despite lefty leaders being the same age.

“Grassley and hatch – too old – they should be done – come on – at thanksgiving we don’t let the 85 year olds carve the turkey #retire,” O’Donnell tweeted.

Hatch, the Senate president pro tempore and third in the presidential line of succession behind Vice President Mike Pence and House Speaker Paul Ryan, and Grassley are two of the GOP’s most prominent members. Many Hollywood liberals, including O’Donnell, are currently upset that many Republicans continue to support Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh amid sexual harassment allegations.

Grassley is 85, while Hatch is 84 years old. But several prominent Democrats are in the same age range. Liberal icons Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Dianne Feinstein are both 85, Maxine Waters is 80, Nancy Pelosi is 78 and Bernie Sanders is a spry 77 years old.

A 2014 Gallup poll showed the average retirement age is 62.

O’Donnell, 56, has a decades-old feud with President Trump and she has been an outspoken critic of his administration. Some of her followers were offended by her call for the older Republicans to retire.

I hate to bring this up but discriminating against someone because of their age is just as wrong as any other form of discrimination. Their behavior was the same decades ago. Approaching 70 myself, I’ll match wits with you any time you’d like,” one user wrote.

“Not cool,” another follower added. “Plenty of 85 year old people are as sharp as ever.”

Just last year, CNN published a story headlined, “The Democratic Party has an age problem,” that noted the ongoing problem with the advanced age of some liberal leaders.

“Democratic leaders across both the legislative and executive branches are generally older than leadership on the other side of the aisle,” CNN’s Ryan Struyk wrote before noting the average age of Democrats on Capitol Hill was 61, while the average Republican was 57.2 years old.

Democrat Congresswoman Maxine Waters calls for mob attack on Trump administration

In June 2013, Rush Limbaugh said America was in the midst of a coup d’état.
Five years later, things have only become even worse.
Democrats and their jackals in the MSM no longer subscribe to the rules of conduct that make a democratic polity possible — those of free speech without intimidation or threats of violence, the marketplace of ideas of peaceful political debate and disagreement, and the losers waiting for their turn and abiding by the results of lawfully-conducted elections.
On Saturday, June 23, 2018, at a rally in Los Angeles, referring to Red Hen restaurant kicking out White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA) — one of Washington’s ten most corrupt politicians — called for attacks on members of the Trump administration:

“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

The crowd cheered and clapped.

The Democratic Party has become rabidly anti-democratic.
A democracy* cannot survive under the circumstances America now finds itself.
Liberty in tears

*Note: Democracy, from the root Greek words demos (people) and kratia (rule), means rule by the people. There are two kinds of democracy: direct or representative. The U.S. is a republic, i.e., a representative democracy, wherein the people supposedly rule via their elected representatives.

It must be noted that what the jackals of the Mainstream Media call “separation of families” is actually the Trump administration enacting a measure that flowed from the  Clinton-era Flores vs. Reno Supreme Court decision allowing unaccompanied illegal border-crossing minors be held “in the least restrictive setting appropriate to the minor’s age and special needs.”

Update (June 26):

There is a White House petition to expell Maxine Waters from Congress. As of this morning, 30,509 have signed. The petition needs another 69,491 signatures to meet its goal of 100,000. To sign the petition, go here.

Maxine Waters says Trump's speeches should come with parental advisory warnings

Crazy talk.
From Daily Mail: Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters  says President Donald Trump‘s public remarks should come with a parental advisory.
Waters called Trump a ‘racist’ and said he is a ‘terrible role model for our children’ in a response to Trump’s State of the Union address that aired during a BET special on Wednesday evening. ‘Whenever he appears on TV there should be a disclaimer that says “This may be may not be acceptable for children,” ‘ she said.
A vocal opponent of Trump’s in Congress, Waters called for his impeachment last month after he was accused of calling Haiti and African nations ‘s**hole countries’ in a conversation on immigration.
Hounding him on Wednesday for the comment Trump says he did not make, Waters said his ‘vulgarity and his disrespect for women and people of color’ warrants a disclaimer.
At a luncheon with network anchors on Tuesday afternoon Trump mused that he wants to unify the country. ‘I want to see our country united. I want to bring our country back from a tremendous divisiveness,’ he said, ‘which has taken place not just over one year, over many years, including the Bush years, not just Obama.’
The annual event preceded the president’s State of the Union address, which the White House said would be bipartisan in tone.
A line on immigration reform and Trump’s desire to restrict migration to nuclear families had Democrats hissing, though.
Democrats were also chagrined about a reference Trump made to MS-13 and the gang’s recruitment tactics. They accused Trump of falsely equating vicious murders with Dreamers, the illegal immigrant youth who came to the United States as children.
Waters said ‘it’s impossible to believe’ Trump when ‘he tries to declare that he wants to bring the country together’ because he has ‘divided the country in ways that no other modern president has done.’
‘One speech cannot and does not make Donald Trump presidential. He’s not presidential and he never will be presidential. He claims that he’s bringing people together but make no mistake, he is a dangerous, unprincipled, divisive, and shameful racist,’ she said.
Waters said her remarks are not just a response to Trump’s address, ‘They are a warning to the American people – a warning that this president does not deserve to represent us, and that he’s taken America down the road to isolation and division.’
Acknowledging her impeachment call, a year into Trump’s four years in office, she said, ‘The time is now. We must organize, challenge and resist.’

Police video shows Zimmerman with no visible blood or bruises

A police surveillance video of a handcuffed George Zimmerman arriving in a police cruiser shows the shooter of Trayvon Martin as being leaner than he was in the standard photo we’ve seen. More importantly, Zimmerman does not appear to have visible blood or bruises on his face and head, despite his claim that Martin had punched him in the nose, knocked him down and slammed his head into the ground.

Matt Guttman reports for ABC World News, March 28, 2012, that the surveillance video, which was obtained exclusively by ABC News, shows Zimmerman arriving in a police cruiser. As he exits the car, his hands are cuffed behind his back. Zimmerman is frisked and then led down a series of hallways, still cuffed.
Zimmerman, 28, is wearing a red and black fleece and his face and head are cleanly shaven. He appears well built, hardly the portly young man depicted in a 2005 mug shot that until a two days ago was the single image the media had of Zimmerman.
The initial police report noted that Zimmerman was bleeding from the back of the head and nose, and after medical attention it was decided that he was in good enough condition to travel in a police cruiser to the Sanford, Fla., police station for questioning. His lawyer later insisted that Zimmerman’s nose had been broken in his scuffle with 17-year-old Martin.
In the video an officer is seen pausing to look at the back of Zimmerman’s head, but no abrasions or blood can be seen in the video and he did not check into the emergency room following the police questioning.
Zimmerman was not arrested although ABC News has learned that the lead homicide investigator filed an affidavit urging Zimmerman be charged with manslaughter. The prosecutor, however, told the officer to not file the charge because there was not enough evidence for conviction.
+++
For the factual details of the Martin shooting, see my post of March 26.
The deputy manager of Obama’s reelection campaign is now accusing the Republicans of “politicizing” the Trayvon Martin shooting. That is laughable, given the shameless race hustling of political figures such as Jesse Jackson; Representatives Bobby Rush, Maxine Water, Frederica Wilson, Hank Johnson; and Barack Obama himself — all Democrats.
Most egregious of all is the $10,000 reward that the racist New Black Panther Party has offered for the capture of George Zimmerman, wanted dead or alive,” and the call for the mobilization of 10,000 black men to capture Zimmerman. The New Black Panthers are most certainly NOT Republicans.
The Obama reelection campaign’s accusation that Republicans are politicizing the Martin shooting is a classic example of psychological projection. We can now add “political party hustling” to the race hustling of Obama and his fellow Democrats.

Doing the Trayvon race hustle

The dictionary defines “race hustler” as “individuals of a particular race who project themselves into the media spotlight as spokespersons whenever there is an alledged racial incident which involves their race. The use of the word ‘Hustler’, included as a part of the term, also implies that these individuals exploit a racial situation to serve their own interests.”
Jesse Jackson is a race hustler who is exploiting the tragic shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Jackson calls Trayvon a “martyr” and says “blacks are under attack.”
Barack Obama is a race hustler, saying on March 23 “If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.” Imagine the hue and cry if a white President had said that about a white victim of a black shooting.

Here are more race hustlers:

Congressman Bobby Rush (D-Ill.), a former Black Panther, was removed from the House of Representatives this morning for his hoodie grandstanding “in honor” of Trayvon Martin, the Florida teen shot last month.
A visibly frustrated Rep. Gregg Harper (R-Miss.), the speaker pro tempore presiding over the morning session, said: “The member will suspend. The member is no longer recognized. The chair will ask the sergeant-at-arms to enforce the rules on decorum.”
Clause 5 of House Rule No. 17 prohibits the wearing of hats on the House floor.

Congresswoman Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-Florida) calls the shooting “racial profiling.” She said, “Trayvon Martin’s murderer is still at large. It’s been one month, thirty days, with no arrest. I want America to see this sweet young boy who was hunted down like a dog, shot in the street, and his killer is still at large […] even though we all know who the murderer is. This was a standard case of racial profiling. No more! No more! We will stand for justice for Treyvon Martin.”

Congressman Hank Johnson (D-Georgia) says Trayvon “was executed for ‘WWB’ in a ‘GC.’ Walking While Black in a Gated Community.” Johnson is the genius who, in a House Armed Services Committee hearing in 2010, expressed his trepidation that moving 8,000 marines to Guam would tip over the island.

Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) calls the Trayvon shooting a “hate crime.” A Marxist, Waters is among the most corrupt of Congress, named by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington to its list of corrupt members of Congress in its 2005, 2006 and 2009 reports, and by Citizens Against Government Waste as its June 2009 Porker of the Month. Waters has also been accused of stealing from funds donated for Haiti’s earthquake relief.

Most reprehensible of all is director Spike Lee.
Last Friday Lee retweeted to his 240,000 followers a tweet containing the purported address of Trayvon’s shooter George Zimmerman. But the address on Edgewater Circle in Sanford, Florida, is actually the longtime residence of an elderly white Florida couple, David and Elaine McClain.
The McClains, who are both in their 70s, have no connection to Zimmerman and are now living in fear. Elaine McClain is a school-cafeteria lunch lady and has a heart condition. The couple have received hate mail, unwanted visits from reporters and fearful inquiries from neighbors. They’ve fled their home and have temporarily moved to a hotel to avoid the spotlight and possible danger.
Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor contacted Spike Lee’s production company “40 Acres and a Mule.”  Instead of issuing a statement or an apology, the executive office said Spike Lee had “no comment.” Although Lee’s tweet has been removed, it continues to be retweeted.

Where’s the outrage by these race hustlers about the all-too-prevalent black-on-black murders?

According to a U.S. Department of Justice report surveying homicide statistics between 1974 and 2004, 52.2% of the offenders were Black, 45.8% were White, and 2% were Other Races. Of the victims in those homicides, 50.9% were White, 46.9% were Black, and 2.1% were Other Races. The report stated that “most murders are intraracial” with 86% of White murders committed by Whites, and 94% of Black murders committed by Blacks.

UPDATE:

Late Wednesday (Mar. 28) night, Spike Lee finally apologized to the McClains with this tweet, “I Deeply Apologize To The McClain Family For Retweeting Their Address. It Was a Mistake. Please Leave The McClain’s [sic] in Peace.”

Democrat Congresswoman Waters Stole From Haiti

[Please scroll down for an important UPDATE!]
Demonrat Congresswoman Maxine Waters, 72, is a professional politician who began her lucrative career in 1976 in California’s State Assembly. In 1991, she was elected by Los Angeles to the U.S. House of Representatives, representing first the 29th District, then the 35th District. She is a member and former chair of the Congressional Black Caucus.
Waters is also among the most corrupt of Congress, named by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington to its list of corrupt members of Congress in its 2005, 2006 and 2009 reports, and by Citizens Against Government Waste as its June 2009 Porker of the Month. She is currently being charged with and investigated by Congress for ethics violations. According to the LA Times, Waters’ relatives had made more than $1 million during the preceding eight years by doing business with companies, candidates and causes that Waters had helped. [Source: Wikipedia]
Maxine Waters is also a Marxist.
Remember how she blurted out the truth — that liberalism is really socialism/communism — while grilling a Shell Oil CEO during a 2008 Congressional hearing? Beginning at around the 4:00 mark, she says,

“And guess what this liberal [referring to herself] will be all about? This liberal will be all about socializing…uh, uh…would be all about, basically, taking over…uh, uh…and the government running all of your company.”

The House Ethics Committee should add another ethics violation to its investigation of Waters. An exclusive-for-subcribers report from D.C. investigative journalist Wayne Madsen claims that Water stole from poverty-stricken Haiti, a country populated by fellow blacks. Unconscionable.

October 15-17, 2010 — Democratic congresswoman rips off misery-stricken Haiti
Influential Haitian-American sources have informed WMR that Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA), already mired in an ethics probe by the House of Representatives, has been involved in a money laundering operation involving several “dummy corporations” she set up with Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide before he was ousted in a 2004 coup d’etat.
The current House Ethics Committee probe of Waters’s role in arranging for a federal bailout for OneUnited Bank, which she and her husband, Sidney Williams, a bank director, held a financial stake.
Now, the financial scandal surrounding Waters has spread to earthquake-ravaged Haiti. WMR has learned that Waters had OneUnited Bank dissolve her joint companies after Aristide was overthrown. OneUnited Bank subsequently laundered over $17 million, most of it from kickbacks from lucrative telecommunications contracts in Haiti, from the dissolved firms through fourteen other banks, including HSBC and Bank of America. WMR has been told by Haitian sources that Aristide, who was exiled to South Africa by the United States after the coup, may not know about the companies that were established by Waters with him as co-owner. However, Aristide once told his closest confidante that in several matters he agreed to while president, “I had no choice, these people are the mafia.”
WMR has been told of a connection between Waters and her husband and the San Francisco-based Steele Foundation, the private security firm that that provided security for the Haitian presidency, and which arranged for Aristide’s flight from Haiti to the Central African Republic following the 2004 coup.
Waters’s role in the Haitian financial scam now has Haitians and Haitian-Americans calling her “Dirty Waters.” Waters and some of her colleagues recently sent a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton complaining that Aristide’s political party, Fanmi Lavalas, was unfairly excluded from the upcoming November 28 presidential and parliamentary election, postponed from last February because of the devastating earthquake, because its paperwork was incorrect. The letter is as follows:

Dear Secretary Clinton:We are writing to express our concerns about the November 28 presidential and parliamentary elections in Haiti. We believe it is imperative that these elections be free, fair, and inclusive, and result in a government that is legitimate and perceived as legitimate. The November 28 elections are particularly important to re-establish an effective legislature, establish political accountability for the expenditure of large amounts of money, and resolve Haiti’s current societal disputes in a peaceful and democratic manner. As it currently stands, Haiti’s Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) has decided to exclude candidates from over a dozen political parties from participating in the elections, including Fanmi Lavalas, Haiti’s largest political party. The exclusion will undermine both Haitians’ right to vote and the resulting government’s ability to govern.Last November, the CEP, which was appointed through a process not recognized in Haiti’s Constitution, excluded 14 parties from parliamentary elections then scheduled for February 2010, without providing a written, comprehensive explanation. Although those elections were postponed and rescheduled for this November 28, the CEP refused to revisit the disqualifications, which have been widely condemned by civil society and parties across Haiti’s political spectrum. A previous CEP, with many of the same members, also excluded Fanmi Lavalas and other parties from Senatorial elections in April 2009. Haitian voters boycotted, and most observers estimated a 3-6% voter turnout.Although some may argue that Haiti has more pressing problems, allowing flawed elections now will come back to haunt the international community later. Haiti’s next government will be called upon to make difficult decisions in the reconstruction process that will have a lasting impact on Haitian society, such as land reform and allocation of reconstruction projects among urban and rural areas. Conferring these decisions on a government perceived as illegitimate is a recipe for disaster.Haiti’s next government will also have to ask its citizens to make sacrifices, such as losing land through eminent domain, or take risks, such as relocating to a new displacement camp. Citizens are unlikely to sacrifice for or trust a government that obtained power through dishonest means.President John Kennedy famously remarked, “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” Running transparently unfair, exclusive elections, with the support of the international community, will leave many Haitians to conclude that they have no choice but to protest the elections and the consequent government through social disruption. That disruption threatens to severely limit such a government’s ability to govern, and imperils the United States’ past and future investments in Haiti’s reconstruction.
The CEP and international community must also ensure that all Haitians entitled to vote are afforded the opportunity to do so. This includes all those who have lost their voting cards and other identity documents in the earthquake this year, as well as those who have turned 18 since the last elections in 2006. We are particularly concerned that the 1.5 million people who have been internally displaced have access to identity cards and polling stations close to the camps where they live so that they can vote. This is also essential to holding legitimate elections.
We call on you to make a clear statement that elections must include all eligible political parties and ready access to voting for all Haitians, including the displaced. The United States government should also state unequivocally that it will not provide funding for elections that do not meet these minimum, basic democratic requirements.
Sincerely,
Maxine Waters; Donald Payne; William Delahunt; Barbara Lee; Debbie Wasserman Schultz; Alcee L. Hastings; Charles B. Rangel; Jan Schakowsky; Dennis Kucinich; Hank Johnson; Jim McDermott; Yvette D. Clarke; John W. Olver; Keith Ellison; Sam Farr; Donna M. Christensen; Raúl Grijalva; Michael Honda; Betty McCollum; Laura Richardson; Alan Grayson; Chellie Pingree; Eleanor Holmes Norton; Danny K. Davis; Sheila Jackson Lee; Elijah Cummings; Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick; Lynn Woolsey; Chaka Fattah; Fortney “Pete” Stark; Al Green; Stephen Lynch; Donna F. Edwards; John Lewis; Bob Filner; Diane Watson; Bennie G. Thompson; Tammy Baldwin; John Garamendi; Bobby L. Rush; Jesse L. Jackson Jr.; Bart Gordon; Melvin L. Watt; Corrine Brown; Lucille Roybal-Allard

WMR has been told that Waters’s letter is an attempt to distract attention from her own Haitian activities that are resulting in her increased unpopularity in Haiti and among the Haitian-American community. WMR has been informed that the Lavalas Party was not excluded but its top leadership voluntarily withdrew from the November 28 election because it was determined that it had been so thoroughly penetrated by outside forces, some called “betrayers,” it had ceased to be a viable opposition party to the U.S.-backed business interests. Those interests first backed Haitian-American entertainer Wyclef Jean for president, and after he withdrew because of his citizenship status in Haiti, the outside forces opted for Charles Baker, who is linked to the Port-au-Prince sweat shop operations of  Andre Arpaid, the head of Alpha Industries, the largest garment assembly factory in Haiti and the leader of the Group of 184, the George Soros-linked civil society group that forced Aristide from office in 2004. One of the reasons Arpaid helped engineer the coup against Aristide was the president’s doubling of the minimum wage for Haitian workers, including those in the garment industry.
The foreign-inspired split within Lavalas is what resulted in its withdrawal from the election, contrary to the spin that Waters and her colleagues are placing on it. Waters decision to ask the Obama administration to withhold aid for Haiti because of the Lavalas withdrawal has also raised suspicions in Haiti. Originally, Jean was thrust into the election process, even though he was ineligible to run for president, in order to tarnish the entire election process. The penetration of and subsequent split within Lavalas also aimed to tarnish the election process. Waters has added to the pre-election machinations by suggesting in her letter to Clinton that over a dozen parties, in addition to Lavalas, had been excluded from the election. However, no other parties were excluded and Lavalas voluntarily withdrew.
Haitian-American sources suspect that Waters and her colleagues are trying to tarnish the Haitian election process to keep the country in turmoil and prevent it from uncovering the millions of dollars that Waters and her husband siphoned from Haiti into numbered bank accounts and phony companies.
Waters’s Republican opponent, Bruce Brown, has expressed his outrage over Waters’s corrupt business deals with Haiti and has promised the Haitian-American community to support an investigation of Waters activities if he is elected.
Waters’s staff, WMR is told, closely with House Financial Service Committee chairman Representative Barney Frank (D-MA) to arrange for the bailout of OneUnited Bank in 2008. Waters’s chief staff member for Haiti, who is close to Frank’s staffers, has refused to consider the Haitian-American community’s concerns that Waters is tarnishing the Haitian election because of her conflict-of-interest.

UPDATE: On October 20,2010, Fellowship of the Minds is honored to receive this comment by Maxine “Dirty” Waters’ opponent in her bid to be reëlected. His name is Bruce Brown. Here’s his comment:

I am Maxine’s opponent and we have been doing similar work except we have the family enrichment in more detail. With just word of mouth, we are at 46% to her 54% and we can beat her with this story line!! Spread the word and help us get donations if you want her gone. Thanks

Mr. Brown is a successful businessman who, two years ago, gave up his corporate life to go into inner-city Los Angeles, day and night, to help mediate gang disputes as a member of a consortium of anti-violence organizations. He is an uphill battle to unseat a corrupt politician in a corrupt district. If you have even a $1 to spare, please donate to his campaign. CLICK HERE! And if you live in California’s 35th District, please help the Brown campaign with your time and energy. The election is only 12 days from now.
