Someone thinks it’s a brilliant idea to have Lena Dunham be a swimsuit model

The owner of Inamorata swimwear line believes that Lena Dunham is the perfect womyn to model and sell her fashions. The swimsuit Lena is modeling costs $160.

From Lena’s Instagram post:

“That time @emrata made me a full oiled up swimsuit issue chick for @inamorataswim  I’ve loved Emily forever because she’s wise, kind, gets how complex feminism and femininity are and gives the perfect amount of f*cks. Honored to get behind her”

Just be thankful we didn’t see the backside of Lena’s swimsuit. Because there literally is NO backside (link NSFW).

Some seem to believe that “lacy bras” for men is now a thing

No, it isn’t.

From Daily Mirror: Ladies, if you’ve ever looked at your man’s underwear and thought it was a bit dull, then you’re not alone.  There’s so much choice when it comes to women’s underwear, from thongs to Brazilian and Bridget Jones -style pants, not to mention strapless, multi-way and water bras.

Mostly men only have boxers or briefs to choose from. However that’s all about to change, as one lingerie company has created a unique line of bras and knickers especially for men.

HommeMystere is selling lacy bras, matching knickers and for the male who wants to wear something a little more sexy under his clothes.  If that’s not enough, men can also get their own silk nighties, baby dolls and body suits.

The company’s bras don’t come with actual cup sizes, but some padded options are available and sizes range from small to extra large.

According to the website, it’s not just the men getting a kick out of the soft, luxurious underwear – the women love it too.

A review posted for the turquoise Annabelle bra said: “So sexy, my gf loves me in this and the matching panties.”

One man reviewing the Tiffany sleepwear set commented: “The material feels so soft and sensuous to the touch and feels so comfortable. You could sleep in it all night, if it wasn’t so sexy!”

HommeMystere was established in 2009 and their aim is to design and make “fun, comfortable, unique lingerie – for people with packages.”

Products from the website can be shipped worldwide, including the UK, the US, France, Germany, Hong Kong and New Zealand.

People on social media have mixed opinions on the idea of their partner wearing underwear. One woman said: “Oh…I think my guy and I will pass on this trend.”

While another joked: “Now we can go bra shopping together, yay.”

Make it stop: Obese model goes nude for "female empowerment"

tess holliday

Tess Holliday: Making an “important” statement…or something.

Feminism is not a girl’s friend. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, “positive” or “empowering” about being obese.
Tess Holliday is a model who is 5’5” and weighs 260 pounds, according to bodymeasurements.orgPer the CDC BMI calculator, her BMI is 43.3 – she is obese. Her normal weight range should be 111 to 150 pounds. How in the world did having almost 50 percent body fat become celebrating “body positivity?”
Tess is now posing nude, again, under the guise of “empowerment.”
You know what would be more empowering? Keeping your clothes on and getting control of your obesity.
Ain’t feminism grand?
From Yahoo: Over the weekend, more than one million people are estimated to have joined in the Women’s Marches around the world. Nick and Tess Holliday took a stand of their own for female empowerment: The body positivity activist and her photographer husband each shared a nude photo of Tess on their Instagram accounts to advocate for respect for women, no matter what they look like or how they’re dressed.
“Women deserve respect, whether they are completely naked or covered head to toe,” Nick wrote on Saturday. “I’m too sick to march, so I worked on this photo we shot a few weeks ago to post today. No alterations to her body or bare face have been made. #effyourbeautystandards #nomakeup #unretouched #womensmarch.” On Sunday, Tess reposted the photo and her husband’s caption, adding, “Repost my hubby @nickhollidayco 💘.” In the black and white photo, Tess’s bare back is to the camera. She wears her long hair in a ponytail and stares off into the distance, with lush Californian hills as the photo’s backdrop.
The 32-year-old plus-size model has previously shared nude photos to make other important statements. Last August, she posted a photo in which she wears nothing but sheer underwear as she gazes at the camera. The caption explains that the photo reminded Holliday of her own quote from her 2017 book, The Not So Subtle Art of Being A Fat Girl: Loving The Skin You’re In. “It goes: ‘Fat people have sex. A lot of it. And it’s really fucking good.’ That’s all 💁🏻💅🏻✌🏻,” the caption reads.
In 2016, while pregnant with now 19-month-old son, Bowie Juniper, Holliday posed nude for The Telegraph. “Just because we’re plus-size doesn’t mean we have to prove that we’re healthy, just as someone who is smaller than us or average size doesn’t have to prove they are healthy. We should be able to exist in our bodies. I am technically healthy but my body is no more valid than someone’s who isn’t,” she said in the accompanying interview with The Telegraph. “I was 7 months pregnant in these photos & loved every moment,” Holliday added in her May 2016 Instagram post about the Telegraph shoot.

Girl, no: Lena Dunham contemplating a movie of Hillary's memoir

Your womyn lost. Get over it and move on.
From Hollywood Reporter: Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner’s Lenny Letter celebrated its two-year anniversary earlier this month, a span which has featured stories from Jennifer Lawrence, Gloria Steinem, America Ferrera and model Ashley Graham. But the duo is focused now on digesting the story of one Hillary Clinton in her new book What Happened.
Dunham has to get her surroundings set first. “We will for sure read it,” Dunham tells The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s something where I need to get into bed with a hot water bottle and read it; it’s not like a casual train read for me.”
The reason why she craves distraction-free time to consume Clinton’s campaign tome, which moved more than 300,000 copies in its first week across all platforms, is because Dunham stumped hard for the Democratic nominee. “After you work on the campaign for 18 months and invest yourself in the way we did, it’s something you want to read when you have time to reflect on it.”
When queried on whether the book would make a good TV or film adaptation, Dunham jokes, “Great question slash suggestion,” with Konner adding, “Call HBO; we’ll have to see if Danny Strong is available.” Strong penned 2012’s Game Change about Sarah Palin joining the John McCain 2008 presidential campaign.
