Continue your boycott! Netflix loses subscribers; shares drop

Christians and Conservatives’ boycott of Netflix is having an effect!

Kaylee Greenlee reports for The Daily Signal that on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, Netflix’s quarterly report shows a loss of 126,000 domestic paid subscribers — its first in eight years — compared with analysts’ expectations for a 352,000 gain. Netflix also missed its own forecast for global subscriber growth by 2.3 million.

Before the release of the shareholders report, Netflix’s shares were up more than 35%. Now, the stock will open at its lowest price since January.

Not coincidentally, the dip in subscriptions came in the same quarter as Netflix’s decision to oppose Georgia’s pro-life heartbeat bill, which was signed into law by Gov. Brian Kemp (R), on May 7. Set to go into effect on Jan. 1, the law will impose restrictions on abortion after a fetal heartbeat can be detected.

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp

On the day of the bill’s passage, Gov. Kemp said he is standing by his promise to implement the “toughest abortion bill in the country” and that “Georgia is a state that values life. We stand up for those who are unable to speak for themselves.”

Following the bill’s passage, Netflix’s chief content officer Ted Sarandos told Variety that Netflix will work with the ACLU and others to “fight it in court,” and that “Should it ever come into effect, we’d rethink our entire investment in Georgia.”

See “Netflix joins fight against Georgia’s abortion law

At the time, Lila Rose, 30, president and founder of the pro-life nonprofit Live Action, tweeted her opposition to Sarandos’ comments:

“Half the country is pro-life. The vast majority want abortion limits. Netflix’s pro-abortion views are regressive and don’t belong in a civilized, loving society. Wake up, Netflix. Many of your employees, customers and America are increasingly pro-life.”

Commenting on the drop in Netflix’s domestic subscription, Rose said: “When Georgia passed the Heartbeat bill, Netflix threatened to stop doing business in the pro-life state. Thousands of pro-life customers expressed their outrage.”

According to MarketWatch, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings said no single factor led to the subscription shortfall, but that a pricing increase, the quarterly content slate and seasonality were all factors. Eric Haggstrom, eMarketer forecasting analyst, said Netflix was hurt by the defection of lower-priced subscribers who may be looking to jump to a wave of competing services over the next 6 to 18 months.

Netflix characterized Q2 as a momentary blip and projects a strong third quarter, with 7 million paid subscriber additions worldwide. A shareholders report also tried to put a positive spin, stating that Netflix’s “U.S. paid membership was essentially flat in Q2, [but they] expect it to return to more typical growth in Q3.”

Planned Parenthood accepts donations earmarked for aborting black babies

Planned Parenthood logo
The baby-killing mill that calls itself Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger, an eugenicist.
Eugenics is the belief and practice at improving the genetic quality of the human population through the promotion of higher reproduction of people with desired traits, and reduced reproduction of people with less-desirable traits.
In July 2009, in a Sunday New York Times interview, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said:

Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe [v. Wade] was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of.

Now, an investigative report by the pro-life organization Live Action reveals the same eugenic racism also animates Planned Parenthood.
Although the abortion mill is vocal about “Black lives matter” and condemns white police officers in Ferguson and elsewhere for allegedly targeting and killing unarmed blacks, Planned Parenthood gladly accepts donations specifically earmarked for the abortion of black babies.
An undercover investigator from Live Action called four Planned Parenthood (PP) offices — in Idaho, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Ohio —  posing as a potential donor. In each bone-chilling call, he made his anti-black sentiments very clear. In each case, the PP representative enthusiastically told him PP would earmark his donation to specifically abort black babies.
As you read the transcripts of those phonecalls, just remember the subject is the deliberate MURDER of human beings, albeit tiny human beings. Then ask yourself how Planned Parenthood is any better than Nazi German holocaust.
The following is the transcript from Live Action’s audio tape of the call between the “donor” and Autumn Kersey, director of development of Planned Parenthood of Idaho.

Sound of phone ringing . . . .
PP: Good afternoon, this is Autumn.
“Donor”: Hello, Autumn. I’m interested in making a donation today.
PP: Fantastic!
Donor: What about abortions for the underprivileged minority groups? I want to specify that abortion to help a minority group. Would that be possible?
PP: Absolutely
Donor: Like the black community for example?
PP: Certainly
Donor: OK. So, so the abortion could, could be, you know, I could give money specifically for a black baby that would, that’d be the purpose.
PP: Yeah, absolutely. Um, if you wanted to designate that you wanted your gift to be used to help an African-American woman in need, um, then we would certainly, uh, make sure that that gift was earmarked specifically for that purpose.
Donor: Great. Because I really face trouble with affirmative action, and I don’t want my kids being disadvantaged, you know, against, um, black kids. I just had a baby, I want to put it in his name, you know.
PP: Hmm.
Donor: Um, you know ….
PP: Absolutely, that’s fantastic.
Donor: So that’s, that’s definitely possible?
PP: Oh, always, always.
Donor: You know, we just think, you know, the the the less, the less black kids out, the better.
PP: [laughs] Understandable, understandable. Alright, um, excuse my hesitation. I’m, I’m, this is the first time I’ve had a donor call and ask, make this kind of request, so I’m excited, and I’m, I want to make sure I don’t leave anything out.

Live Action’s undercover investigation also called Planned Parenthood of New Mexico and spoke to Irene Gray, director of development. Here’s the transcript of their phone conversation:

PP: Hello, this is Irene.
Donor: Hi, um, I’m interested in, um, making a donation? I’d like to fund one abortion.
PP: Oh, OK!
Donor: I was wondering if that would be possible.
PP: Yes, we can definitely put that….
Donor: Um, can I make the donation specifically for a minority group?
PP: Like a specific group of color?
Donor: Yeah, yeah.
PP: Like, a group of ….
Donor: I mean, like, I want the abortion to be for an African-American baby.
PP: OK.
Donor: And, I was wondering if that could be possible?
PP: The exact amount that we charge, right now, is $450 for an abortion.
Donor: OK. $450?
PP: Mm, hm. And, uh, we can definitely designate it for an African-American.
Donor: Wonderful! Um, if I wanted to fund multiple abortions, could you also specify that this could be done for, um, a specific group?
PP: Hmm.
Donor: Great, great. Um, well, little excited, you know, because I really face trouble with affirmative action, and I don’t want my kids to be, um, uh, disadvantaged, um, you know….
PP: Yeah.
Donor: Against, against, um, against blacks with, in college and, you know, the less, um, the less blacks out there, the better, so….
PP: Yeah, yeah, it’s a strange time for sure. [Laughs]
Donor: Yeah.
PP: So, OK.
Donor: Thank you so much.
PP: No problem!
Donor: And you’ll be receiving a check in a few days!

Here’s the transcript of the phone conversation between Live Action’s undercover investigator (“donor”) and Sue Riggs, vice president of development of Planned Parenthood of Oklahoma:

PP: Hello, this is Sue. May I help you?
Donor: Hi! Uh, Sue, I’m interested in making a donation?
PP: Great!
Donor: So, could, could, would it be possible for me to donate that money specifically for these, these minority groups, so that they could have access to abortions?
PP: Yes, it would be.
Donor: Wonderful. Then could I specify that abortion be done, uh, those abortions be done for a specific minority group, or how does that work?
PP: If you wish, you can.
Donor: OK. So, so, for example, the black community in Tulsa. Would it be possible to give the money specifically for that?
PP: You sure can.
Donor: Wonderful. Great. The abortions will be done specifically for the, the black community abortions.
PP: I can, I will mark it in such a way that definitely it will.
Donor: On a black baby?
PP: Yes.
Donor: Thank you, great.
PP: OK?
Donor: Uh, so, can I give you my credit card number?
PP: Yes.

Here is the transcript of the phone conversation between “Donor” and Lisa Hutton, administrative assistant of Planned Parenthood of Ohio:

PP: Planned Parenthood administration, this is Lisa.
Donor: And who am I speaking with now?
PP: My name is Lisa Hutton.
Donor: Lisa Hutton, what’s your position?
PP: Administrative assistant.
Donor: OK. When I underwrite abortions, does that apply to minorities too?
PP: If you specifically want it to underwrite an abortion for a minority person, you can target it that way. You can, you can specify that that’s how you want it spent.
Donor: OK, yeah, ’cause there’s, so, there’s definitely way too many black people in Ohio, so I’m just trying to do my part.
PP: [Laughs] OK. Whatever.
Donor: Well, blacks especially need abortions too. So that’s what I’m trying to do.
PP: Well, for whatever reason, we’ll accept the money.

You can listen to the audio tape of the above 4 phone conversations by going to Live Action’s Facebook page.
871 black babies are aborted every day in the United States (Guttmacher Institute), but not a word from the Reverends from Hell Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, or from the black president and black first lady in the White House. Don’t black lives matter?

Millennials are becoming more pro-life

Millennials (aka Generation Y) are those aged 18 to 29 whose birth years range from the early 1980s to the early 2000s.
Millennials can be faulted for many things. See, for example:

But there’s one positive thing we can say about millennials — they are more pro-life than previous generations of American young people.
abortion-rights
Gallup Poll analysis of U.S. public opinion trends on abortion shows that generational differences in support for broadly legal abortion have diminished over the past decade, mainly due to young adults (18 to 29) becoming slightly more likely than all other age groups, including seniors, to say abortion should be illegal in all circumstances. Support for legal abortion in all situations dipped among the youngest two age categories, but increased slightly among middle-aged adults between the late 1990s and the early 2000s. Among seniors (65 and older), there has also been a significant drop (a long-term 11-point) in the percentage of those who say all abortions should be illegal. In contrast, among young adults there has been a 9-point increase — from 14% to 23% — in support for the “illegal in all circumstances” position since the early 1990s.
Gallup abortion by age groups
The Christian Post reports, Dec. 12, 2014, that millennials are increasingly more pro-life and supportive of restrictions on abortion than their parents’ generation, according to polling data taken over the last decade.
Here are some of the reasons:
1. Medical technology: Lila Rose, president of the pro-life group Live Action, said that advances in ultrasound technology is just one of the many reasons why teenagers and people in their 20s are joining the movement: “There’s a window into the womb with ultrasound. Just having the look into the womb you can see, even in the first trimester, the early development of the child — you can see the humanity of the child. “ow that we have that imagery and it’s more prevalent, people are having that personal encounter with the child, so it’s easier to recognize their human rights.”
Jeanne Monahan, president of March for Life, said, “Years ago, it was the case that advocates for abortion would talk about the ‘thing’ growing in a woman’s womb as a lifeless blob of tissue. And I think our advances in sonography and ultrasounds, and even our understanding of fetal development has dispelled those myths. We know that, from the moment of conception, a baby has all of its DNA that it needs for the rest of its life. It has everything inherent that it will need for later on. Really, the only difference [between the preborn and adults] is in size and development.”
2. Abortion abuses: Lila Rose also credits the growing pro-life stance of millenials to “stories that have emerged about how abortion doesn’t help women, but it actually hurts them. This has been shared in the testimonies of women who’ve spoken out against it afterwards. And there’s the emergence of evidence about the abuses and the illegal practices at Planned Parenthood that are coming more to light. All of these factors are inspiring to younger people who see it as a human rights abuse and an attack against women and children, and they want to join the movement.”
3. Millenials have lost siblings to abortion: Most poignant of all is the fact that millenials have lost siblings to abortion. Kathryn Brown, a Benedictine College student who was among 400 of her classmates who traveled from Kansas to Washington in January to lead the annual 41st annual March for Life demonstration, said that her generation is more pro-life than past generations because they’ve been greatly impacted by abortion. Brown said, “I think one big reason is because our generation is the one that’s missing so many people because of abortion. There are many people, college aged, who have siblings who were aborted. There are people missing in our lives because they were never given the chance to live — siblings, friends, maybe even people we would have married. We mourn them and we resolve to stand up for their God-given right to life so that others will not share that same fate.”

Plaza Inn in Albuquerque offers room discount to women getting late-term abortion

Plaza Inn, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Dr. Mengele would be proud.
A hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico, gives special discount rates for women getting a late-term abortion at the city’s butcher shop with a vague and innocuous name of Southwest Women’s Options. The Plaza Inn hotel is so helpful, they’ll even provide transportation to and from the butcher shop for those women!
[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LG34OUVSwU#t=0]
Ben Johnson writes for LifeSiteNews, Nov. 15, 2013, that a Live Action undercover video uncovered the special “service” provided by Plaza Inn.
In the video, a reporter pretending to be heavily pregnant young woman calls Southwest Women’s Options to schedule an abortion at 25 weeks. An abortion worker tells her that the Plaza Inn works “in conjunction with” them and “give [special] room rates” to women.
The hotel will also pick women up from the airport and shuttle them to and from their appointments at SWO. The site’s abortionist, Dr. Carmen Landau, trumpeted in a video that “people come from all over the country and all over the world into our clinic, because in most places you cannot get an abortion after 24 weeks,” whereas New Mexico does not have “a lot of [abortion] restrictions” on the books.

Abortion doctor Carmen LandauAbortion “doctor” Carmen Landau

A receptionist at the Plaza Inn confirmed the rooms were “$49 dollars, plus tax.” The rate does not appear to be much of a discount, as the website currently offers a room with deluxe queen size bed for $45 for a single night, and less money yet if the stay extends several days.
“The Plaza Inn is more than willing to give discounts and free transportation to mothers about to have their children poisoned to death and torn apart,” Live Action President Lila Rose said in a press release. “How many other hotels – in Albuquerque, and across the nation – are profiting from these gruesome procedures? How many are offering discounts for death?”
More shocking than the hotel’s alliance with a late-term abortionist is Southwest Women’s Options’ advice to women who go into labor in the hotel. In the video, the abortion clinic worker tells the “young woman” that if she feels “something coming out . . . um, the pregnancy coming out,” she should just “get your cell phone and just sit on the toilet” in her hotel room until the clinic’s personnel arrive.
“What if it does come out when I’m on the toilet?” the reporter asks.
The counselor says the woman should just drop her baby in the toilet and that “You don’t gotta look down. If you feel like it’s too much to see any of it, then do not let yourself look at it.” The counselor helpfully suggests the young woman could cover her lap with a towel so she did not see her stillborn child during the birth process.
A previous Live Action undercover video featured a worker at Southwest Women’s Options explaining that the week long, $8,000 late-term abortion involves sticking a needle through the unborn child’s skull to ensure his or her demise.
Both undercover videos seek to educate and inform Albuquerque voters for an election this coming Tuesday, Nov. 19, on the city’s proposed Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Ordinance that would bar abortions after 20 weeks on the grounds of fetal pain.
Planned Parenthood has pumped $300,000 into the city to fight the new ordinance, and a pro-life website reports that it has been hacked, redirecting e-mails of its supporters to a pro-abortion organization.
Never a match for abortionists’ finances, pro-life volunteers from several states are converging in Albuquerque to turn out the vote, including Students for Life of America, the Susan B. Anthony List, Created Equal, and Operation Rescue.
What I don’t understand is how late-term abortions are allowed in Albuquerque because the 2003 Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act makes late-term abortions unlawful in the United States.
For a description of late-term or partial-birth abortions, see “Obama is evil,” Nov. 6, 2012.

UPDATE (Nov. 20, 2013):

Yesterday, Nov. 19, the people of Albuquerque voted for evil.
By a margin of 55% to 45%, 87,000 Albuquerque voters rejected a ban on partial-birth abortions. The pro-aborts called this “a victory for the women of Albuquerque.”

Aborting a 27-week-old baby is just like a flu shot

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipV4OYnlMDA]

Years ago, after the Supreme Court’s Roe v Wade decision, wise people have warned that legalizing the murder of unborn human persons will transform America into a Culture of Death, wherein we increasingly lose our empathy and become callous and indifferent to degradation, suffering, and killing.

Here’s a grotesque example.

Abortion doctor Carmen LandauAbortion “doctor” Carmen Landau

Steven Ertelt reports for LifeNews, June 13, 2013:

A new undercover video shows a New Mexico-based abortion practitioner telling a woman considering an abortion that killing a 27-week old baby is no different than getting a flu shot.

The pro-life group Live Action has released the latest in a series of videos exposing late-term abortion practitioners showing no compassion over killing babies late in pregnancy. In this new video, Dr. Carmen Landau, of Southwestern Women’s Options in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and a counselor employed at the same facility, are shown making shocking statements.

southwestern women's option

When asked by the Live Action investigator, “Is it a baby?,” the counselor answers:

Well what – how – what do you consider a baby?  It’s definitely a fetus. … Um, it depends what the term “baby” means to you, and how you perceive it.

When asked if the possibility of the pre-born baby feeling pain bothers her, the New Mexico counselor replies:

I feel that it’s, um, necessary for the procedure to happen and, ultimately, um, safest, and kind of the most, kinda, humane way to do it, you know?

Abortion doctor Carmen Landau tells the investigator that the injection that will kill her baby is “like any shot, you know, like a flu shot, or a vaccine, really.” Contrary to a large body of evidence, she alleges that babies in the womb do not feel pain or anguish from a poisonous injection, claiming that “it’s not like you and I [sic] where when we get a flu shot, we’re kind of, ‘Ugh!’ – not – that – that – that experience of anxiety and suffering is not – it [the baby]‘s not capable of.”

Lila Rose, President of Live Action, says she hopes to educate the nation on the true nature of abortion.

“These babies,” said Rose, “whom Carmen Landau calls ‘not a thinking being,’ are unique and precious human persons. They feel, they dream, they grow…and when an abortionist tries to kill them with a needle or with forceps, they react. They fight for their lives, just as any of us would. Our investigation has exposed the disturbing willingness of abortionists to engage in illegal and inhuman acts, including misleading pregnant women, pushing them into abortion, and even infanticide. This is horrible, but Americans should know just as well the horrifying practices that are still legal, that we allow to happen every day.”

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Q04-l2cm1oQ]

The first half of Live Action’s latest video details abortionists’ estimation of the humanity of the unborn child. Abortionist Laura Mercer assures the investigator that her 24-week baby “doesn’t even look like a baby yet.” Live Action provides several images of premature babies born as early as 23 weeks.

The Live Action video chronicles the story of Toby, a baby born prematurely at 24 weeks – the gestational age of the organization’s pregnant investigators’ babies at the time of many of the undercover investigations. “Toby puts a name and a face to the atrocious murders occurring in these facilities,” Rose said. “Every day, abortionists are brutally killing children just like him. Whether they’re called ‘fetuses’ or ‘babies,’ this fact doesn’t change, and it’s time for Americans to come to terms with it.”

“What our video investigation is uncovering,” Rose said, “along with what we have learned from the trial of late-term abortionist Kermit Gosnell and from the whistle-blowers from Douglas Karpen’s facility, is that this is abuse. Abortion doctors, counselors, and other staff describe ‘stop[ping] the fetal heart,’ a needle being inserted through the baby’s head, an ‘intrauterine demise.’  They describe babies becoming ‘mushy,’ and how they ‘literally go in and grab and pull pieces out.’ They refer to these babies as human beings, and carry out these inhuman practices on them anyway.”

“Every human being is unique and precious from the moment of conception. But abortionists will not give even these babies – 24 weeks, 27 weeks, viable, capable of surviving outside the womb – the dignity of humanity. So we want to put the question in every American’s head: if not even these babies are worthy of humanity in the abortionist’s eyes, then what is human? What does ‘human’ even mean?”

End of LifeNews article.

The abortion of a 27-week-old unborn baby is a late term abortion — as are all abortions after the 20th week of gestation. In 2003, late-term abortions finally became unlawful in the United States when the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act (PBABA) was signed into law.

But Pres. Lucifer (and FLPOS Michelle, too) not only approves of partial-birth abortion, he three-times voted against the Born Alive Infants Protection Act of 2002 – a federal law, signed by President George W. Bush, which extends legal protection to an infant born alive after a failed attempt at induced abortion. (Read more: “Obama is evil.”)

This is the creature occupying the White House.
