Singer John Mayer says we need a new “male contract” to get rid of toxic masculinity

John Mayer sounding the warning of toxic masculinity…

John Mayer is a 40-year-old American singer. He is not married and has no children.

John wants to tell you how to raise boys, including making sure that they know they are not entitled to every woman.

Mayer has a long list of ex-girlfriends and a reputation as a womanizer. Here’s a list of women he’s been entitled to (that we know of):

  • Katy Perry
  • Renee Zellweger
  • Taylor Swift
  • Kim Kardashian
  • Scheana Marie
  • Jennifer Aniston
  • Minka Kelly
  • Jessica Simpson
  • Rhona Mitra
  • Jennifer Love Hewitt
  • Vanessa Carlton
  • Cameron Diaz
  • Rashida Jones
  • Colbie Caillat
  • Mandy Moore

Typical Hollyweird hypocrite.

From TMZ: John Mayer wants to can the idea that men must be alpha males and take what they want — including women — and replace it with a new doctrine focused on respect and sensitivity.

The guitar-slinging crooner was doing a cancer benefit show at the Modell Performing Arts Center in Baltimore when he went off on a tangent about toxic masculinity, which he called a “bulls**t” alpha male contract that’s nailed into boys’ heads from a young age.

He says the sentiment that a man should get an erection at the sight of every woman he wants is crap. John added the so-called “trauma” men might feel when a woman turns them down … is something men just have to get over.

His new idea on how to raise boys … teach ’em that the world isn’t theirs, and they’re not definitely not entitled to every woman. It’s worth noting this rant came right after John performed “Daughters.”

He never calls him by name, but it’s pretty clear John’s referring to newly sworn-in Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

There was some awkward silence as he made his point, but eventual applause once he got it all out. He later apologized for talking about such a sensitive subject during the concert.

Reminder of what can happen: Female blogger ordered to pay US Army colonel she accused of rape $8.4 million in damages

This story is from August 2017 yet it is relevant to what happened to Justice Kavanaugh during his confirmation circus.

One woman (and the media) cannot play “judge and jury.”

From Daily Mail: A jury has ordered a female blogger to pay an Army colonel she accused of rape a total of $8.4million in damages.

Susan Shannon, 52, who now lives in Everett, Washington, first alleged that she was sexually assaulted by Army Colonel David ‘Wil’ Riggins in 1986, while they were both cadets, on her blog in 2013. (Susan claims people lied at her trial and that the judge and jurors “denied” her. See her Twitter account – last used in 2017 – here.)

She said she waited three decades to come forward about her experience because of the army’s ‘code of silence’. But Riggins, also 52, who vehemently denied the claims, said the ‘false’ allegations had cost him a sparkling military career.

The combat veteran from Alexandria had been on the cusp of being appointed to general in 2013, when Army leaders saw Shannon’s rape allegation on her blog.

His promotion was snatched away and Riggins says his name was dragged through the mud after ‘Susan Shannon decided to play judge and jury on her own.’

The decorated colonel denied all claims, telling ABC 7 On Your Side at the time: ‘I did not rape Susan Shannon. I did not sexually assault Susan Shannon. Every aspect of (her) story is verifiably false.

The jury has now ordered Shannon to pay $3.4 million in compensatory damages for injury to his reputation and lost wages, and $5 million in punitive damages, ‘to make sure nothing like this will ever happen again,’ according to the Washington Post.

Shannon said at the time she had finally been inspired to speak about her alleged experience after reading about several high profile convictions for sexual assaults in the military.

Shannon alleged she was raped by her former cadet classmate at the United States Military Academy in New York in 1986. She dropped out shortly afterwards.

Now a jewelry designer and a mother living on the West Coast, she added that the pressure in the army to keep quiet and not turn in her peers meant that she did not even report the alleged rape at her exit interview.

She made the claims on her blog Short Little Rebel in 2013 – which followed the announcement that Colonel Riggins had been nominated for general.

Shannon denied having any knowledge of his nomination until she was contacted by Army officials investigating her blog post.

Unhinged Google exec slams GOP over Kavanaugh nomination: “F-ck. You. All. To. Hell.”

Don’t let Dave’s smile fool you…he’s a miserable proggie.

These people need to up their meds.

From Fox News: A design lead at Google has slammed Republicans in an angry Twitter rant over the nomination of now-Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

“You are finished, @GOP. You polished the final nail for your own coffins. F–K. YOU. ALL. TO. HELL,” wrote Dave Hogue Saturday, in the now-deleted tweet.

“I hope the last images burned into your slimy, evil, treasonous retinas are millions of women laughing and clapping and celebrating as your souls descend into the flames,” he added.

Hogue’s LinkedIn entry describes him as Google’s UX design lead. He has been at the search giant since December 2013, according to the entry.

On Sunday, Hogue confirmed that he had deleted the tweet. “Yes, I deleted that tweet. Yes, those opinions are mine personally, and I am responsible for them. Yes, I should have been more eloquent and less condemning. Yes, I still believe the @GOP is wrong and not serving your best interests. Yes, I still believe we can do much better.”

“What employees say in their personal capacity has no bearing on the way we build or operate our products,” a Google spokeswoman told Fox News, via email.

Kavanaugh was sworn in Saturday night as the 114th justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, after a fierce confirmation battle that included allegations of sexual misconduct, which he denied.

Google is coming under close scrutiny at the moment amid allegations of anti-conservative bias at the company, which it denies.

The firm’s CEO Sundar Pichai met privately with GOP lawmakers on Capitol Hill last month to discuss the allegations and concerns about privacy issues and the firm’s re-entry into China.

A source familiar with Google’s closed-door portion of the meeting told Fox News that the meeting “was positive” and the “tone was tough but fair and respectful.” Members “weren’t shy” about sharing their major concerns with Pichai, according to the source, and are looking to interview him in the future.

The meeting came after Google was given “the empty chair treatment” at a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing. Neither Pichai nor Larry Page, chairman of parent company Alphabet, chose to attend the event on election interference, much to the annoyance of lawmakers.

Rose McGowan claims the Hollyweird #MeToo movement is BS, only done to make themselves feel better

Left eat left.

From Daily Mail: The actress who kick-started the exposure of Hollywood moguls who allegedly exploited positions of power to abuse women has branded #MeToo campaigners against sex attackers ‘losers’.

Rose McGowan accused producer Harvey Weinstein of rape this time last year, sparking an avalanche of allegations in the entertainment industry and beyond.

As stars such as Kevin Spacey and Morgan Freeman were alleged to have assaulted or harassed performers, activists began using the hashtag to share their ordeals online.

But McGowan has slammed the movement as ‘bull****’ in today’s Sunday Times Magazine, which comes the day after Judge Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in as a Supreme Court justice in the face of historic sexual assault allegations he denies.

After year of stars such as Salma Hayek and Gwyneth Paltrow claiming to be victims of harassment, McGowan has said she understands why Donald Trump supporters hate Hollywood, whose apparent liberalism she says is fake.

On the subject of #MeToo, she said: ‘I just think they’re douchebags. They’re not champions. I just think they’re losers. I don’t like them.  How do I explain the fact that I got a GQ Man of the Year award and no women’s magazines and no women’s organisations have supported me?

‘It’s all bullshit. It’s a lie. It’s a Band-Aid lie to make them feel better. I know these people, I know they’re lily-livered, and as long as it looks good on the surface, to them, that’s enough.’

More from the story:

McGowan has also hit out at Meryl Streep, saying that it is ‘literally impossible’ the actress knew nothing of Weinstein’s sexual proclivities until last autumn. Streep has denied knowing about the producer’s alleged ehavior.

Though she says ‘women have a tight to be angry’, McGowan says #MeToo activists have ‘sold themselves a fiction’ rather than face up to the true nature of Hollywood.

The article continues:

In Brave, McGowan argues that feminism hasn’t reached Hollywood, where 96 per cent of directors are male. She says the industry’s male gaze has little interest in women beyond them being ‘f***able’.

She told the magazine that even watching the movies in question implicates the viewer in the mistreatment.

This is far from the first time McGowan has spoken out on the matter, with the actress being very vocal in her refusal to align herself with either the #MeToo or Time’s Up movements.

Back in January, she hit out at the A-listers who wore black to the Golden Globes to protest the Harvey Weinstein sex scandal by calling the idea nothing but ‘Hollywood fakery.

She tweeted: ‘And not one of those fancy people wearing black to honor our rapes would have lifted a finger had it not been so. I have no time for Hollywood fakery.

She later branded Time’s Up leadership of being ‘fakes’ after they partnered with CAA.

McGowan has claimed that agents at CAA are ‘guilty of human trafficking’ for sending actresses, including Gwyneth Paltrow, to meet Harvey Weinstein in his hotel room. ‘Guess where they meet?’ she tweeted. ‘Who do you think is behind this “great” pr?

‘Why, it’s the company of pimps that sent so many into a the Monster’s Lair themselves. CAA. #TIMESUP fakes.’

McGowan also took issue with the fact that none of the women who first came forward were even asked to attend the Golden Globes ceremony.

Asia Argento stated that she had not been invited, while fellow sexual abuse and harassment accusers Corey Feldman and Rosanna Arquette said they too were ignored by the group.

‘Y was I ignored 2Nite? Do U C the hypocrisy here? Hollywood taking a stand in unity, when I wasn’t invited?’ Feldman asked Argento on Twitter, who replied ‘Don’t worry, I wasn’t invited either.’

She later added: ‘Not only I wasn’t invited to the #GoldenGlobes: nobody asked my opinion about #TIMESUP or to sign the letter. I support @TIMESUPNOW even though I was excluded from it. Guess I am not POWERFUL or HOLLYWOOD enough. Proud to work behind the scenes.’

Arquette, who accused Weinstein of sexual misconduct, also tweeted ‘We weren’t invited. Annabella [Sciorra], Daryl [Hannah], Mira [Sorvino] … none of us were.’
