ABC The View’s Joy Behar wants pro-life men sterilized

The Cambridge Dictionary defines “feminine” as “having characteristics that are traditionally thought to be typical of or suitable for a woman”, such as soft, caring, loving, and maternal.

By the speech and behavior of contemporary feminists, the word “feminine” should be redefined as “hateful, malevolent, vicious, venomous, and evil”.

Self-professed feminists are in a meltdown over two recent pro-life laws:

  • On May 7, 2019, Georgia’s Republican Governor Brian Kemp signed into law HB 481: Living Infants Fairness and Equality (LIFE) Act, aka fetal heartbeat bill, to which feminists, led by has-been actress Alyssa Milano, reacted by threatening a sex strike and a boycott of the state of Georgia.
  • On May 15, 2019, Alabama’s Republican governor Kay Ivey signed into law the Alabama Human Life Protection Act— America’s most restrictive anti-abortion law that makes it a felony for doctors to perform or attempt to perform an abortion in the state. The new law allows no exceptions for rape or incest but does allow for abortions in cases where the mother’s life is at risk.

The Alabama pro-life law so enraged feminist and author Jill Filipovic that she proclaims men are to be made incontinent, their pubic bones crushed, and a quarter inch be “required” to be “cut off of a man’s penis for every pregnancy he creates”.

Not to be outdone by Filipovic in viciousness, Joy Behar, the medusa co-host of the execrable ABC daytime talkshow, The View, calls for the forced sterilization of the men who’d voted for the Alabama Human Life Protection Act.

As reported by Kristine Marsh for NewsBusters, on May 15, 2019, the hosts of ABC’s The View criticized the abortion banning bill that was passed in the Alabama Senate the night before. Co-host Joy Behar cried sexism, while Whoopi Goldberg complained about religion influencing politics.

After introducing the topic, Behar sneered that the men who voted for this bill should be forced to be sterilized. She asked, “Can we look at the panel of men who did this? What do they have in common?” as the producers put a giant image of the twenty-five Republican Senators who passed the bill.

Behar answered her own question: “They’re all men. All white guys.”

The audience of women chuckled.

Behar then said: “Maybe we should make it a law they should all be required to get a vasectomy. That would solve the problem.”

The audience cheered uproariously and applauded their approval.

The View’s Joy Behar cowardly avoids addressing her “blackface” costume

Inevitably ABC’s PR team will get around to creating a response for Joy. It’s her SOP.

From Fox News: ABC News’ “The View” co-host Joy Behar remained stone silent Thursday regarding old footage of her donned in blackface that was unearthed this week as similar images have caused outrage and derailed careers.

Behar did not address the situation during the first episode of “The View” to air after her controversial decades-old image caused an uproar on social media. ABC News did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Footage of Behar dressing up as a “beautiful African woman” was resurfaced by TheWrap media editor Jon Levine on Wednesday amid a series of blackface scandals making national headlines. The image of a 29-year-old Behar wearing makeup intended to darken her skin was aired on “The View” back in 2016 when the panel discussed the resurgence of naturally curly hair.

The co-hosts appeared surprised by her drastically different look. Raven-Symoné, a former co-host, asked a the time, “Joy, are you black?”

“I was so cute,” Behar said in the 2016 clip. “Joy… are you my auntie, Joy?” Raven-Symoné joked.

Behar then explained that the picture was taken at a Halloween party where she dressed up as a “beautiful African woman” and stressed that it was her actual hair. “Did you have tanning lotion on, Joy?” Raven-Symoné asked.

Behar responded by saying she wore makeup “that was a little bit darker than my skin.”

“I can’t really get too bothered at this blackface-lite costume because it was 1971 and people didn’t even know what microaggressions were. I’m more flabbergasted by her willingness to pull this photo out and proudly show the world as if it’s totally cool in the year 2016,” Jezebel’s Kara Brown wrote after the 2016 segment.

While the 2016 segment didn’t spark much outrage, NBC famously cut ties with Megyn Kelly last year for pondering aloud whether dressing in blackface for Halloween could be acceptable. Media watchdogs quickly hit Twitter to compare Behar’s situation to what ended Kelly’s time at the Peacock Network.

Last week, Virginia’s Democratic Governor Ralph Northam offered an apology after a photograph emerged on his medical school yearbook page that featured a man in blackface and another in a KKK robe. He reversed course the next day, claiming he wasn’t in that photo but did admit to wearing blackface when dressing up as Michael Jackson for a costume contest. Countless prominent politicians on both sides of the aisle have called for him to step down as a result.

Democratic Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring, who had previously called on Northam to resign, released a statement Wednesday that he also wore blackface in college.

Late-night hosts Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon, who have both also worn blackface on comedy skits without backlash, have skirted the Virginia Democrats’ blackface scandals in their late-night monologues.
