Et tu, Gateway Pundit? Report on yesterday’s Pizzagate March on D.C. disappeared into the memory hole

Memory Hole (definition):

A mechanism for the alteration or disappearance of inconvenient or embarrassing documents, photographs, transcripts, or other records, such as from a website or other archive, particularly as part of an attempt to give the impression that something never happened. The concept was first popularized by George Orwell’s dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, where the Party’s Ministry of Truth systematically re-created all potential historical documents, in effect, re-writing all of history to match the often-changing state propaganda.

Yesterday, March 25, 2017, as planned, there was a protest in front of the White House to raise awareness about Pizzagate.

The protest was planned to begin at 11 a.m.

At 12:09 p.m., AltMedia powerhouse Gateway Pundit published a report by its correspondent Lucian Wintrich on the protest, “#Make America Great Again Vets Rally Alongside #PizzaGate Protesters in Washington, D.C.“. That evening, FOTM received Wintrich’s article in an email from reader “GiGi”. By that time, the article had garnered 65 comments from Gateway Pundit‘s readers.

Wintrich’s article consisted of 4 photos of the protest, some pics taken at an earlier date of the interior of Comet Ping Pong, and two paragraphs of text written by Wintrich. Below are 2 pics from the protest.

This is what Lucian Wintrich wrote:

Outside the White House, hundreds have gathered to both show support for President Donald J. Trump while others gathered to raise awareness over the controversial #PizzaGate conspiracy. For those of you who might not know, #PizzaGate believers allege that a Washington pizzeria, named Comet Ping-Pong, is the home of a global pedophilia and child sex abuse ring organized by people including Hillary Clinton, Jon Podesta, among and other leading Democrats and members of the DNC.

While a member of The Gateway Pundit reporting staff did venture down to Comet Ping-Pong to investigate, the only thing we came away with is the fact the pizzeria is very creepy and does not seem child-friendly at all. We were not able to prove or confirm allegations of child trafficking, just creepiness (see pictures below, taken by a Gateway Pundit reporter inside Comet Ping-Pong).

Here are 4 pics of Comet Ping Pong in Lucian Wintrich’s article:

Early this morning, when I clicked on the embedded link to Wintrich’s article (http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2017/03/maga-vets-rally-alongside-pizzagate-protesters-washington-d-c/), I got this message:

Not found, error 404

The page you are looking for no longer exists. Perhaps you can return back to the site’s homepage and see if you can find what you are looking for. Or, you can try finding it by using the search form below.

I did just that:

  • I went on Gateway Pundit‘s home page (http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/) and scrolled through its recently published articles. There is no article titled “#Make America Great Again Vets Rally Alongside #PizzaGate Protesters in Washington, D.C.“.
  • I searched for “PizzaGate protesters,” “PizzaGate protest,” “vets rally”. Again, there is no article titled “#Make America Great Again Vets Rally Alongside #PizzaGate Protesters in Washington, D.C.“.
  • I then went on Lucian Wintrich’s author’s page (http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/author/lucian/). As you can verify for yourself, the page shows that Wintrich’s most recent article was published on March 22, 2017 on London Mayor Sadiq Khan. The page shows no article written by Wintrich since March 22, and most certainly no article on the Pizzagate protest.

In other words, Wintrich’s Pizzagate protest article had been disappeared into the memory hole, with no explanation from Gateway Pundit.

A day before the Pizzagate protest, Alex Jones of InfoWars, another AltMedia powerhouse, publicly apologized to James Alefantis — the owner of Comet Ping Pong whom GQ magazine named the 49th most powerful person in Washington, D.C. — for having broadcast videos and published articles on Pizzagate, which Jones now calls “an incorrect narrative”. See “Alex Jones apologizes for Pizzagate ‘fake news’ on eve of March on D.C.“.

Sure looks like the Alex Jones virus has infected Gateway Pundit as well.

Update (March 27, 2017):

Although Gateway Pundit took down Wintrich’s report, it is preserved (for now) in the Internet archive, aka Way Back Machine. Here’s the link.

Alex Jones apologizes for Pizzagate ‘fake news’ on eve of March on D.C.

“Pizzagate” is the term given to speculations and assertions that there is a pedophile network connecting powerful Democratic Party élites and two Washington, D.C. pizzerias, Besta Pizza and Comet Ping Pong. The latter is owned by James Alefantis, listed by GQ as the 49th most powerful person in D.C. and a former boyfriend of Clinton crony and Democratic Party operative David Brock of Media Matters.

Below is a picture that Alefantis posted to his Instagram account (source: The Tap Blog). After this and other pictures were uncovered by 4chan, his account is no longer accessible to the public:

Using Comet Ping Pong’s Instagram account, a Comet Ping Pong barman named joshuaryanv posted an obscene picture of two people having sex on top of a giant slice of pizza. To see the pic, click here.

Given the gravity of the accusations and the many compelling circumstantial evidence, it is curious that no official investigation has been made by either law enforcement or the MSM. See “Failure of American Journalism: Pizzagate and the muzzling of Ben Swann”.

Today, March 25, beginning at 11 a.m., there will be a peaceful demonstration in Lafayette Park across from the White House, asking for an official investigation into Pizzagate.

Yesterday, on the eve of the planned March on D.C. against pedophiles, InfoWars’ Alex Jones publicly apologized for having propagated fake news (“an incorrect narrative”) on Pizzagate.

Jones’ apology was specifically directed at Alefantis who, last month (February 2017), wrote Jones asking that InfoWars retract statements made about Alefantis although:

  • Jones had already removed broadcasts concerning Alefantis from both InfoWars’ website and social media.
  • Jones and InfoWars already had “dissociated” themselves from Pizzagate months ago in December 2016.

Despite all that, Alex Jones still felt compelled to issue a public apology, not just to Alefantis, but for participating in the Pizzagate narrative in general. Moreover, Jones blames his Pizzagate involvement on others — “third party accounts of alleged activities and conduct at” Comet Ping Pong, as well as “accounts of reporters who are no longer with us.”

Here is Alex Jones’ “A Note to Our Listening, Viewing and Reading Audiences Concerning Pizzagate Coverage” (I added the bold highlight in red):

Last fall before the Presidential election, a large number of media outlets began reporting on allegations arising from emails released by Wikileaks that appeared to come from John Podesta, who served Presidents Clinton and Obama and was the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

Dozens of those stories and articles raised or discussed theories that some of Podesta’s emails contained code words for human trafficking and/or pedophilia. Stories also included allegations connecting members of the Democratic Party with a number of restaurants involved with a child sex ring. These stories were cited and discussed in social media and went viral on the Internet.

One of the persons mentioned in many of the stories in the media was a Washington, D.C. restaurant owner named James Alefantis, and his pizza  restaurant Comet Ping Pong. It is fair to say that Mr. Alefantis is a prominent individual who has been mentioned as a power player in Washington. Mr. Alefantis and his restaurant were mentioned in many stories published by a lot of different outlets. Mr. Alefantis was quoted in many subsequent stories, and he denied any involvement in such child sex rings. These denials were reported in national media and many other media outlets and news websites.

The volume of stories was substantial, generated national headlines and came to be known across the country as “Pizzagate.” We at Infowars became a part of that discussion. We broadcast commentary about the allegations and the theory that the emails contained code words. We raised questions about information in Mr. Podesta’s emails and the Comet Ping Pong restaurant. We believed at that time that further investigation was necessary. In December 2016 we disassociated ourselves from the “Pizzagate” claims and theories, a position we reiterated last month after being contacted by Mr. Alefantis.

In late February 2017, we received a letter from Mr. Alefantis asking that we retract certain statements that he says were made in seven of our broadcasts between the last week of November and the first week of December 2016. We have attempted, through our lawyers, to contact Mr. Alefantis to discuss with him what sort of statement he would like to see made.

In our commentary about what had become known as Pizzagate, I made comments about Mr. Alefantis that in hindsight I regret, and for which I apologize to him. We were participating in a discussion that was being written about by scores of media outlets, in one of the most hotly contested and disputed political environments our country has ever seen. We relied on third party accounts of alleged activities and conduct at the restaurant. We also relied on accounts of reporters who are no longer with us. This was an ever-evolving story, which had a huge amount of commentary about it across many media outlets.

As I have said before, what became a heightened focus on Mr. Alefantis and Comet Ping Pong by many media outlets was not appropriate. To my knowledge today, neither Mr. Alefantis, nor his restaurant Comet Ping Pong, were involved in any human trafficking as was part of the theories about Pizzagate that were being written about in many media outlets and which we commented upon.

I want our viewers and listeners to know that we regret any negative impact our commentaries may have had on Mr. Alefantis, Comet Ping Pong, or its employees. We apologize to the extent our commentaries could be construed as negative statements about Mr. Alefantis or Comet Ping Pong, and we hope that anyone else involved in commenting on Pizzagate will do the same thing.

Here’s what we have done to clarify to the public. Months ago we took down the majority of broadcasts/videos including ones that only mentioned Pizzagate. This happened months before we were even contacted by Mr. Alefantis. Mr. Alefantis objected to portions of seven particular radio broadcasts. We have taken down those seven broadcasts and we have attempted to take down any broadcasts that mentioned Mr. Alefantis or Comet Ping Pong. We have attempted to do so not just on our website but also social media sites such as our YouTube channel. If Mr. Alefantis has other objections, we invite him to let us know. Two reporters who used to be associated with us are no longer with us. In a recent broadcast, I invited Mr. Alefantis on our program to state what he wanted to, and I again do so here. He has given interviews to many media outlets, and he is welcome to come on our show.

In issuing this statement, we are not admitting that Mr. Alefantis, or his restaurant, have any legal claim. We do not believe they do. But we are issuing this statement because we think it is the right thing to do. It will be no surprise to you that we will fight for children across America. But the Pizzagate narrative, as least as concerning Mr. Alefantis and Comet Ping Pong, we have subsequently determined was based upon what we now believe was an incorrect narrative. Despite the fact that we were far from the genesis of this story, it is never easy to admit when your commentaries are based on inaccurate information, but we feel like we owe it to you the listeners, viewers and supporters to make that statement, and give an apology to you and to Mr. Alefantis, when we do.

We encourage you to hold us accountable. We improve when you do.

Alex Jones,
Infowars

In a departure from standard InfoWars practice, readers are prevented from commenting on Jones’ apology as “Comments for this thread are now closed”.

Jones’ curious timing — issuing a public apology for having engaged in the “incorrect narrative” about Pizzagate on the eve of the March on D.C. to raise public awareness on Pizzagate — can only discredit today’s March, as well as any and all efforts in the Alternative Media to uncover and shed light on D.C. pedophilia.

That there are pedophiles in Washington, D.C. is not farfetched given the Franklin child sex-ring scandal of 1988-1991 which involved GOP élites in Washington, D.C., and Nebraska’s Boys Town and assorted prominent citizens. The scandal is documented in two books:

Then there is the more recent case of former Congressman and House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-Illinois) who, in April 2016 at his sentencing hearing, admitted under pressure from the judge that he had sexually abused boys. The judge in the case called Hastert a “serial child molester” and imposed a sentence of 15 months in prison, two years’ supervised release, and a $250,000 fine.

David Seaman asks “What do they have on a man [Alex Jones] who’s been so vocal on other issues plaguing our society, what did they have on him that the day before the national protest against Pizzagate and against Pedogate he has to issue a public apology?”

Please pray for Pizzagate journalist David Seaman

David Seaman is a self-described “Progressive” independent journalist who contributes to a number of media outlets, including Huffington Post — until last year, when he was banned by HuffPo for his reporting on Hillary Clinton’s health.

See “Banned by HuffPo, David Seaman calls media collusion with Hillary Clinton ‘Orwellian propaganda’

Since then, Seaman became a Trump supporter and has continued to speak out. He is also among a handful in the Alternative Media who tirelessly report on the evil called Pizzagate. In Seaman’s case, his main platform is YouTube, to which he would upload almost daily video reports on the latest news or discovery concerning Pizzagate.

Seaman recently caused quite a stir when he suddenly went silent and removed all his many videos from YouTube, which you can verify for yourself by going here.

Thankfully, he resurfaced yesterday with a YouTube video explaining his absence and defending himself from scurrilous attacks on his character.

Pizzagate involves some very powerful people in Washington, D.C., who are ruthless and unscrupulous. The attacks on Pizzagate researchers are very real, notably Ryan A. O’Neal who was threatened by Comet Ping Pong owner James Alefantis. Read about it here.

David Seaman needs our prayers.

Please pray for his safety, and for the safety of all citizen journalists who have the courage to expose Pizzagate, which law enforcement as well as the useless and feckless MSM — including even Alt-Media journalists like Wayne Madsen — not only refuse to do, but contemptuously dismiss as “debunked fake news,” never mind that something that hasn’t been officially investigated can neither be “debunked” nor brushed off as “fake news”.

Is the Trump administration closing in on Pizzagate and John Podesta?

“Pizzagate” is the term given to speculations and assertions that there is a pedophile network connecting Democratic Party élites and two Washington, D.C. pizzerias, Besta Pizza and Comet Ping Pong. The latter is a pizzeria with a Disneyish façade owned by a homosexual named James Alefantis, who is a former boyfriend of David Brock, a powerful Democratic Party operative and Clinton loyalist. Oddly, for a pizzeria owner, Alefantis is considered the 49th most powerful person in D.C. and has made four visits to the Obama White House.

comet-ping-pong

The word “pizza” in Pizzagate isn’t just a reference to Comet Ping Pong pizzeria but stems from the many cryptic references to “pizza” and other food items (“hotdogs”; “pasta”; “tempting” “cheeses”; “yummy” “sauces”) in a collection of curious emails sent by and to John Podesta, a longtime Democratic Party operative who was Bill Clinton’s White House chief of staff, Obama’s White House counselor and, most recently, chairman of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. This is the same John Podesta whose emails, published by WikiLeaks, reveal his and his brother Tony’s enthrallment with a cannibalism painting and their involvement with satanic performance-artist Marina Abramovic’s “spirit cooking” bodily-fluids dinners.

Three weeks ago, in a wholly unverified and unverifiable interview with the administrator of a website called Victurus Libertas, the alleged “FBI insider” who first broached the subject of Pizzagate on the chat forum 4chan last July, predicted the imminent (“next week”) “high level” arrests of “3 dozen pedophile politicians, some who are quite well known.” The unnamed “FBI insider” even gave the initials of some of the big-name D.C. politicians who are “being investigated” — BF (Barney Frank?), MB (Michael Bloomberg?), TK (Tim Kaine?), DF (Diane Feinstein?), JM (John McCain?), LG (Lindsey Graham?). Along with the politicians, the “insider” said “journalists, pundits, money men, lobbyists” would also be arrested in the impending FBI dragnet, and that “Many are being tracked down and are about to be exposed, arrested, drained. Some may off themselves when they realize they risk prison, ruination, loss of power, etc.”

The “next week” went by, then another week, and another week, but there was no FBI arrests of D.C. pedophiles.

Two things happened in recent days, however, which give us some hope that arrests actually may be forthcoming in Pizzagate that the MSM so loudly protest is “debunked” fake news. (See “Failure of American Journalism: Pizzagate and the muzzling of Ben Swann”)

By the way, it is interesting that a year before he died of a “heart attack,” in addition to calling John Podesta a “world class underage sex slave op cover-upper,” the late Andrew Breitbart had also tweeted that the liberal MSM protect, aid and abet pedophile sex trafficking.

breitbart-tweet-on-msm-protecting-child-trafficking

(1) President Trump announces a crackdown on sex trafficking

Four days ago, on February 21, President Trump had a meeting with human trafficking experts, after which he said in a short, dramatic press conference that the issue of sex trafficking has been on the radar of the federal government “for some time,” but that since he took office, the investigation has become “much more focused”. Trump vowed that he will direct the Department of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies to devote more resources and personnel so as to bring the “full force and weight of our government” to put an end to the “horrific, really horrific crimes taking place.”

Recall that three weeks ago, the new Trump administration’s Department of Homeland Security released a very curious PSA on human trafficking which prominently featured a pizzeria.

What you may not know is that Trump has long inveighed against pedophilia. In a tweet on October 8, 2012, Donald Trump said something must be done about the sex trafficking of “missing children” and that pedophiles should be put to death after a “fast trial”.

trump-tweet-on-death-penalty-for-pedophiles

Below is a transcript of President Trump’s announcement on human trafficking, followed by a video of his press conference (h/t YourNewsWire.com):

“I want to make it clear today that my administration will focus on ending the absolutely horrific practice of human trafficking and I am prepared to bring the full force and weight of our government at the federal level in order to solve this horrific problem that is getting worse.

Human trafficking is a dire problem, both domestically and internationally, and is one that’s made really a challenge. And it’s really made possible to a large extent, more of a modern phenomenon, by what’s taking place on the Internet, as you probably know.

Solving the human trafficking epidemic, which is what it is, is a priority for my administration. We’re going to help out a lot. ‘Solve’ is a wonderful word, a beautiful word, but I can tell you, we’re going to help a lot.”

Former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney certainly understood President Trump’s words as a crackdown on Pizzagate. She wrote in a tweet on February 23, 2017:

“Forewarning: this brings down Dems and Repubs! He needs to go straight all the way because this goes to the top!”

(2) The Rothchilds throw John Podesta to the wolves

Lynn Forester de Rothschild, 62, is the CEO of E.L. Rothschild, a holding company she owns with her third husband, Sir Evelyn Robert de Rothschild, a member of the very powerful Rothschild family. The company manages investments in The Economist Group, owner of The Economist magazine, Congressional Quarterly and the Economist Intelligence Unit; E.L. Rothschild LP, a leading independent wealth management firm in the United States; as well as real estate, agricultural and food interests.

clintons-with-evelyn-lynn-de-rothschild

As Claire Bernish reports for the Australian National Review, Lynn de Rothschild has a close association with Hillary Clinton, as shown in emails released by WikiLeaks:

  • In an email exchange in April 2010 with the subject heading “Miss you”, Rothschild tells Hillary she would love to catch up and that I remain your loyal adoring pal.” Hillary responds in kind, let’s make that happen,” and signs off, “Much love, H.”
  • In September 2010, Hillary messaged Rothschild, “I was trying to reach you to tell you and Teddy that I asked Tony Blair to go to Israel as part of our full court press on keeping the Middle East negotiations going.” Hillary then asks obsequiously, “Let me know what penance I owe you.” Rothschild thanks Hillary for “personally reaching out to us,” and saccharinely writes, “You are the best, and we remain your biggest fans. Sweet dreams and Godspeed with everything you are doing.”
  • In their relationship, Hillary Clinton is the subordinate who takes orders from the Rothschilds as shown in a January 7, 2015 email from Lynn de Rothschild to Hillary’s aide, Cheryl Mills. Referring to a blog by Senator Elizabeth Warren’s (D-) which was critical of Hillary’s close association with Wall Street and big banks, Rothschild writes: “I think this blog overstates what Warren was doing, but we need to craft the economic message for Hillary so that Warren’s common inaccurate conclusions are addressed. Xoxo Lynn.”

On the evening of February 21, 2017, the same day of President Trump’s announcement of a crackdown on sex trafficking, in a tweet, Lynn de Rothschild calls John Podesta “pathetic,” “arrogant,” “a loser,” and blames him for Hillary losing the election to Trump.

rothschild-tweet

Are the above recent events signs that the Trump administration will take decisive action on Pizzagate?

We can only hope — and pray — that the powerful D.C. users and abusers of  innocent children be brought to justice.

Obama spent $65,000 to fly ‘pizzas’ & ‘hotdogs’ from Chicago

Today, February 9, is National Pizza Day!

What better way to celebrate the day than a post on how much America’s former POTUS (thank you, God!) Barack Obama loves “pizzas” (and “hotdogs”) too!

On October 19, 2012, WikiLeaks released a very curious email, one of WikiLeaksGlobal Intelligence Files of over 5 million e-mails from the Texas-headquartered “global intelligence” company Stratfor. As WikiLeaks explains:

The e-mails date between July 2004 and late December 2011. They reveal the inner workings of a company that fronts as an intelligence publisher, but provides confidential intelligence services to large corporations, such as Bhopal’s Dow Chemical Co., Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon and government agencies, including the US Department of Homeland Security, the US Marines and the US Defence Intelligence Agency. The emails show Stratfor’s web of informers, pay-off structure, payment laundering techniques and psychological methods.

The email on May 14, 2009, was from Fred Burton, Stratfor’s vice president of intelligence, to Don R. Kuykendall, then President of Stratfor (Stratfor’s president is now Dave Sikora):

From: Fred Burton [mailto:burton@stratfor.com]

Subject: RE: Get ready for “Chicago Hot Dog Friday”

I think Obama spent about $65,000 of the tax-payers money flying in pizza/dogs from Chicago for a private party at the White House not long ago, assume we are using the same channels?

Below is a screenshot:

obama-pizza-email1

To which, Swedish reporter/political commentator Peter Sweden @PeterSweden7 tweeted:

obama-pizza-email2

Obama so loves “pizza,” he’s good pals with James Alefantis, the owner of D.C. pizzeria Comet Ping Pong and former boyfriend of Clinton crony and Democratic Party operative David Brock (of Media Matters).

Though a mere pizza restaurateur, Alefantis visited the Obama White House four times. One visit was an overnighter in which Alefantis’ group of four included a male porn star. (See Yoichi Shimatsu’s “Capriccio For A Sausage Fest By Chef Alefantis – PizzaGate 8“)

Meanwhile, former VP Joe Biden stands in solidarity with Obama spending $65,000 of taxpayers’ dollars to fly in “pizzas” and “hotdogs” from Chicago.

For Obama’s 55th birthday last August, Biden sent him a childish friendship bracelet with beads spelling out “Joe” and “Barack”, and cute charms in the shape of a blue flower, smiley face, blue star and a slice of (“pizza”) pie. (Hollywood Reporter)

Uncle Joe loves “pizza” too!

Here he is, copping a feel of 13-year-old pizza, oops, I mean daughter of newly sworn-in Senator Christopher Coons (D-Delaware) in January 2015:

Failure of American Journalism: Pizzagate and the muzzling of Ben Swann

“Pizzagate” is the term given to speculations and assertions that there is a pedophile network connecting Democratic Party élites and two Washington, D.C. pizzerias, Besta Pizza and Comet Ping Pong. The latter is a Disneyish pizzeria owned by a homosexual named James Alefantis, who is a former boyfriend of David Brock, a powerful Democratic Party operative and Clinton loyalist.

The word “pizza” in Pizzagate isn’t just a reference to Comet Ping Pong pizzeria but stems from the many cryptic references to “pizza” and other food items (“hotdogs”; “pasta”; “tempting” “cheeses”; “yummy” “sauces”) in a collection of curious emails sent by and to John Podesta, a longtime Democratic Party operative who was White House chief of staff in Bill Clinton’s administration, White House counselor in the Obama administration and, most recently, chairman of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. This is the same John Podesta whose emails, published by WikiLeaks, reveal his and his brother Tony’s enthrallment with a cannibalism painting and their involvement with satanic performance-artist Marina Abramovic’s occult “spirit cooking” dinners.

Some say the references to “pizza” and “hotdog” are code words used by pedophiles; others dismiss the claim and would have us instead believe that powerful and very busy D. C. élites spend their time incessantly chatting about pizzas in emails. One of the parties in those Podesta emails is James Alefantis who, though the “lowly” owner of a D.C. pizza joint, is considered the 49th most powerful person in Washington, DC.

You would think that claims as incendiary as Pizzagate would warrant investigation by the D.C. police and the supposed “investigative” journalists of the MSM. Certainly, if the allegations were about Donald Trump or Republican élites, you can be sure WashingtonPost/NewYorkTimes/CNN/ABC/CBS/NBC would have reporters crawling over this story ad nauseum.

Even more curious is the fact that some big names in the Alternative Media treat Pizzagate like it’s a leprous contagion.

Wayne-madsen

Wayne Madsen, who touts himself as America’s premier “independent investigative journalist,” not only has not investigated and continues to refuse to look into Pizzagate, when asked by a reader why, responded with Alinskyite ridicule and insults, calling pizzagate “fake news” and those who blog and YouTube about it “crazy conspiracists” who do “a great disservice to those reporters” like the great Wayne Madsen “who have been investigating actual criminal conspiracies involving pedophiles.”

In his post of December 5, 2016, available only to his subscribers, Madsen airily dismisses Pizzagate:

“The so-called ‘Pizzagate’ story had problems from the outset of its genesis on a few dubious websites. The vacuous story falsely claimed that the pizzeria was engaged in a pedophile operation with John Podesta, Mrs. Clinton’s campaign manager and former White House chief of staff for Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.”

In the chat forum with his subscribers about his post, Madsen redoubles his mockery, calling Pizzagate a “phony” “100% bullcrap” “fake story” concocted by “fallacious conspiracy-mongering” “malicious” and “libelous” “fabulists”. To a faithful reader Will Shanley who doggedly asked Madsen why he’s avoiding Pizzagate, Madsen replied with more derision:

“This story is so fake the tabloids won’t even touch it. Concentrate on something more authentic, like Elvis’s three-headed alien baby.”

Even Alex Jones and his InfoWars shied away from Pizzagate. As Oscar Platt, who says the Pizzagate story has “definitely something to it,” recounts for Russia Insider, January 19, 2017:

Alex Jones publicly dropped his coverage of it. He has the resources and the audience to break the story wide open. Jones even created a special video explaining to his audience his logic for dropping his investigation, and then another one to explain why Infowars team member Joe Biggs, who was very active investigating Pizzagate, left the company.

Given the reluctance of both the MSM and AltMedia big shots like Jones and Madsen to investigate and report on Pizzagate, it was a breath of fresh air when a member of the MSM produced a TV report on the subject.

ben-swann

He is Ben Swann, an award-winning reporter and anchorman of CBS affiliate WGCL (CBS46) in Atlanta, Georgia, on which he had a regular investigative segment called “Reality Check”. Swann joined CBS46 as an anchor for its early evening and late newscasts in June 2015.

On January 18, 2017, CBS46 broadcasted Swann’s “Reality Check” report on Pizzagate, which Swann published to YouTube that same day:

As you can see, that video is no longer available, scrubbed from YouTube.

Fortunately, citizen journalists had saved Swann’s report, which you can see/hear for yourself in this video that, no doubt, will also be removed from YouTube:

The media drones immediately went on the attack:

  • Within hours, The Washington Post‘s Eric Wemple called Swann’s report “a gem of video slime”.
  • The Daily Beast‘s Ben Collins ran a denigrating profile of Benn Swann, calling him a “truther”.
  •  Gizmodo‘s Bryan Menegus published an article calling Swann a “CBS imbecile” who “just fanned the Pizzagate flames for no reason”.
  • Swann’s own station, CBS46, scrubbed his Pizzagate report. You won’t find it listed on the station’s page on Swann, which shows that Swann’s last “Reality Check” on “Why reports on Trump are fake news” was aired on January 12, 2o17, 6 days before the one on Pizzagate.

Even more troubling is the fact that, after his Pizzagate report was aired, Ben Swann disappeared and was not seen on CBS46 since.

Writing for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution‘s AJC.com on January 27, 2017, Rodney Ho archly observes:

Ben Swann, the evening anchor on CBS46 who created a social media firestorm last week after reviving the “Pizzagate” story, has been off the air since late last week.

UPDATE on Friday, January 27: He will be back Monday, January 30 after being off air since January 19. But his social media accounts will be deleted, he said.

There has been no explanation for his absence on air. His co-anchor Sharon Reed has been solo anchoring at times. Sometimes, Tracye Hutchins joins in, as she did Wednesday night. Internally, staffers don’t even know what’s going on.

He does remain on the CBS46 website so he has not been fired.

Neither news director Frank Volpicella nor his boss and GM Mark Pimental have responded to requests for comment. A spokesman from Meredith Corp., which owns CBS46, has not returned email queries or phone call requests either.

It’s very possible the two sides are quietly negotiating an exit settlement agreement with Swann, who joined the station in mid-2015 and is clearly still under contract. And given that the story was cleared by his bosses, their futures are questionable as well.

Swann did one of his “Reality Checks” last Tuesday bringing back the frequently debunked story of a pizza place in D.C. linked to a Hillary Clinton senior aide that was supposedly running a child prostitution ring there. He noted that there is no clear evidence such a ring exists but threw out a lot of online speculation and innuendo, then wondered why the authorities had not done a thorough investigation….

He has not posted anything on Instagram since the brouhaha hit. Ditto on Facebook.

As the Daily Beast noted, he’s a bit of a conspiracy buff and his website Truth in Media is tied to a Republican PAC. Plus, he did some work for the Russian-government supported Russia Today before coming to Atlanta.

Ho calls Pizzagate a “frequently debunked story”.

Really?

As Ben Swann, with eminent common sense, pointed out in his “Reality Check” report, how can Pizzagate be dismissed as “fake news” or “debunked” when there hasn’t been an official investigation — not one — into the many troubling claims?

On January 27, 2017, Ben Swann posted an announcement on Facebook and Twitter that “things are OK,” but that he will “go dark” on social media beginning “Tzuday, Feb. 1”.

Note that in his “go dark” announcement, Swann bizarrely spelled Tuesday as “Tzuday,” and identified Feb. 1 as Tuesday when February 1, 2017 falls on a Wednesday. Was this Swann’s way of sending out an S.O.S.?

On January 31, 2017, AJC.com’s Rodney Ho reported that “Swann returned on air Monday [January 30], as announced. I saw him at 5:30 p.m. Oddly, his mic was not working properly during an intro about ‘construction fatigue’.”

Below is a screenshot from Swann’s January 30 newscast.

But as Swann had warned, his social media accounts have “gone dark,” which you can see for yourself. If you go on:

  • Swann’s Facebook page, you will get this message: “This content isn’t available right now”.
  • Swann’s Twitter account, you’ll get this message” “Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!”.
  • Swann’s TruthInMedia.com website, you’ll get a “401 Authorization Required” message, asking you to give your username and password, which you can’t provide because you don’t have one since TruthInMedia.com had never required your username and password before.

Sure looks like Ben Swann, the only MSM journalist who reported about Pizzagate, is being muzzled. So much for the U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment declaration of a free press . . . .

Democrat big donors: donating to Hillary’s losing campaign was like burning money

This morning, our DCG posted that Hillary Clinton’s losing campaign cost a record $1.2B, which was twice as much as what the Trump campaign spent.

So it should come as no surprise that at least some of Hillary’s big donors think their money was wasted — they might as well have set fire to the piles of cash.

Jonathan Easley reports for The Hill, Dec. 1, 2016, that Democrat big donors went whole hog for Hillary to the tune of more than $550 million, believing she would dispatch Trump, deliver Democrats the Senate, help the party make inroads into the GOP’s House majority, as well as cement Obama’s legacy.

Instead, not only did Hillary lose, Democrats are now in disarray, in the throes of a full-scale and expensive rebuilding project with a rudderless Democratic National Committee (DNC) that won’t elect a new leader until more than a month after Trump is sworn into office.

Adding insult to the injury: The names of many donors were released in the WikiLeaks emails, which has rattled some of the party’s big-money men and women.

John Morgan & Marc Nathanson

John Morgan, an Orlando attorney and one of Clinton’s top fundraisers in Florida, said:

“I may very well be done with political giving entirely. My message to anyone reading this is, ‘Don’t call me, I’ll call you.’ From here on out, I’m giving to charities. I’d much rather give money to build a new Boys & Girls Club than to give to the [Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee].”

Investor Marc Nathanson, one of Clinton’s top donors and fundraisers in 2016, says he has no interest in participating in the party’s rebuilding efforts. While he would continue to give money and support to Democratic candidates in gubernatorial and mayoral races in his home state of California, he will stay on the sidelines. He said:

“The feeling I get from big donors out here in California is that they’re not only extremely disappointed, but they’re shell-shocked. So to turn around and say, now it’s time to rebuild the national party and the DNC, I just don’t see it.”

The big donors’ sore feelings are a huge problem for the DNC, which is trying to rebuild its image and reinvigorate a defeated party in time for challenging midterm elections in 2018. It’s also a worry for top liberal activists as they prepare for war with President Trump and a GOP Congress that is hell-bent on rolling back President Obama’s accomplishments.

Some Democrats believe the fundraising panic is being overblown, arguing that in Trump, the party has a fearsome boogeyman that will keep horrified donors in a giving mood. They’re optimistic that jilted donors will change their tune once the DNC elects a new leader and as the midterm elections near. Democrats face a daunting map in the 2018 midterm elections, when they’ll be defending 25 of the 46 seats they currently hold in the Senate. A filibuster-proof majority is within reach for Republicans.

Democrats with a rosier view point to the following:

  • A Nov. 14 donor event in Washington, D.C., including George Soros, was notable for its “bigger than expected turnout.”

  • Gara LaMarche, the president of Democracy Alliancea big money group that funds the Black Lives Matter protests and riots — has been touring the liberal donor hubs of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Boston to discuss the “progressive” movement’s way forward with top donors. LaMarche said, “There is deep frustration with the Democratic Party and the political consultant class among the donors who put a lot of money into the electoral efforts, who don’t feel their money was spent well. They want to know what went wrong. But there is also an emergency response to protecting policies, whether it’s abortion or EPA regulations or ObamaCare, that is mobilizing and energizing the wider set of progressive donors.”

  • David Brock of the liberal watchdog group Media Matters for America — the Democrat activist whose former boyfriend is James Alefantis, owner of Comet Ping Pong pedo pizzeria — has invited 225 current donors and 175 prospective donors to a meeting in Palm Beach, Fla., over Trump’s inaugural weekend. Brock has ambitious plans to create Democrat counterparts of the Koch Brothers, Breitbart, and the influential citizens watchdog group Judicial Watch.

But even the prospect of the 2018 midterm election isn’t enough to get some angry donors back in the game. One DNC official told The Hill the donors are “tired. They’re upset about the election, and there was significant trauma surrounding the Russians. They’re upset and they’re tired.”

“significant trauma surrounding the Russians”? Ha, ha, ha, ha.

Not only are those Democrat big donors “useful idiots,” they actually believe the Democrats’ fake news!
