They Sent My Census Form Back

In answer to the question,
‘Do you have any dependents?’,
I put … ’12 million illegal immigrants, crack heads, unemployable
bastards, the cast of The Jerry Springer Show, 140,000 people in our 133
penal establishments in California,
leftovers from Katrina, half of Mexico,
much of the Congress & staff, most of the Senate and a Muslim President!’
Apparently this wasn’t an acceptable answer.

Ron Paul Gets an "F" on Immigration

Libertarian Congressman Ron Paul’s (R-Texas) stance on immigration has just been downgraded from C- to F by Numbers USA,  a non-partisan organization dedicated “to bring federal immigration policy back to a logical place.”
NumbersUSA is adamantly opposed to immigrant bashing. It states America’s immigration problem as follows:

“The 1990s saw the biggest population boom in U.S. history. This is truly astounding news coming three decades after widespread agreement among Americans that the country was mature and probably already overpopulated. No wonder Americans became increasingly alarmed at their deteriorating quality of life due to sprawl, congestion, overcrowded schools, lost open spaces and increasing restrictions on their individual liberty caused by the new population explosion! This population boom was almost entirely engineered by federal forced-growth policies that are still in place. The Census Bureau states that Americans will suffer this kind of rapid congestion every decade into the future unless Congress changes these policies.”

On the 12 most important immigration categories, Ron Paul’s ratings add up to an overall stance that just barely misses warranting an F-minus, which is the grade for Obama. Paul’s F is significantly worse than the grade of former Speaker Gingrich who had previously been the worst of all Republican 2012 presidential hopefuls on immigration.

Why It Took Obama 2 Years to Release Birth Certificate

The White House apologizes for the inordinate delay in providing President Obama’s birth certificate.
The CIA’s division of Document Creation And Alteration has been swamped recently with demand for documentation required for undocumented illegal immigrants aliens. This of course was deemed a higher priority than the Birth Certificate issue due to the necessity of expanding Obama’s electorate prior to the 2012 elections.

Gap Grows Larger Between American People & Ruling Class

The Founders believed in We, The People.

Last July, an article in American Spectator confirmed what many of us (68%) had long thought:

There is a Political Class in America comprised of both elected politicians and unelected cultural elites, who not only don’t care what most Americans think, they hold us in contempt.

The article, “America’s Ruling Class — And the Perils of Revolution,” by , a professor emeritus of international relations at Boston University, makes a compelling case that the real divide in America is not so much between liberals and conservatives as between the bipartisan political-cultural ruling class (the “regime class”) vs. the American people (whom Codevilla calls the “country class,” as in America, the country). Whereas the majority of the “country class” are religious (Christians) and patriotic, the bipartisan ruling “regime class” — stripped of their lip-service rhetoric — are irreligious; arrogant and contemptuous of the American people; and do not love America or the American people. Arizona Has More Independents Than Democrats

Frustrated by the federal government’s refusal to enforce its own immigration laws, Arizona — a border state on the frontline of the illegal alien invasion — was the first State in the Disunion to pass its own immigration law last April. For that, Arizona was met with threats of boycott from other states such as California, as well as a lawsuit by the Obama administration.
Now Arizona is leading the way in the American people’s increasing repudiation of the two party system. For the first time, the number of Arizonans who register as non-partisan Independents (“other”) exceeds that of registered Democrats. Here’s the breakdown:

Registered Republicans……1,142,602…..35.8% of Arizona’s registered voters

Registered as “other”……….1,010,725…..31.66% of registered voters

Registered Democrats……..1,008,689…..31.59% of registered voters

Ginger Rough of the Arizona Republic reports, Jan. 24, 2011: 

The number of Arizona voters who do not designate an affiliation with any political party – the category that includes independents – has exceeded one million for the first time, according to numbers released Monday by the Secretary of State’s office.
It also marks the first time the number of independent voters is greater than those registered in one of the state’s two major political parties — in this case, the Democrats.
As of Jan. 1, there were 1,010,725 voters registered as “other” in the state, an increase of 28,248 since voter-registration statistics were released last fall. They account for 31.66 percent of Arizona’s registered voters.
The number of registered Democrats, by comparison, stands at 1,008,689. The Democratic Party has added just over 5,700 voters since November’s general election….
Meanwhile, the Republican Party — which won all the statewide races in November and holds a strong majority in the Arizona Legislature — picked up 10,803 voters during the same time period. There are now 1,142,602 registered Republican voters in the state.
But it’s not all rosy in the Grand Old Party. In the past two years, the percentage of voters who designate themselves as Republican has slipped from 37.1 to 35.8. Arizona Republican party spokesman Matt Roberts said the trend is worrisome, but he believes the GOP can lure new voters with strong leadership, both in state and in Washington, D.C….
Libertarians continue to make up a little less than 1 percent of the state’s total voter registration, with 24,880; there are 5,040 voters registered as Green Party members. Total voter registration is now 3,191,939.

An Elegy to Detroit

I would change Mr. Wooldridge’s title for his opinion essay to “How the Left and Right Together Detroyed Detroit” — the Left, with the welfare state, multiculturalism, and irresponsible unionism; and both the Left and the Republicorp Right with their aiding and abetting of illegal immigration and their support of big corporations’ outsourcing exporting of jobs and the resultant hollowing out of America’s manufacturing industries.
Here are some facts on Detroit, from Wiki:

  • Detroit was the United States’ 11th largest (most populous) city in 2009, with 910,920 residents.
  • In 2007, 33.8% of Detroit’s residents were below the poverty level, the highest among large U.S. cities.
  • As of the 2000 census, the city’s racial makeup was 81.6% Black, 12.3% White, and 5% Hispanic (mostly Puerto Rican and Mexican).
  • 31.6% of households in Detroit were headed by a female with no husband present; only 26.7% of households were married couples living together.
  • Detroit was the 3rd most dangerous U.S. city in 2009, according to a study by the CQ Press, using population figures and crime data compiled by the FBI.

How Immigration and Multiculturalism the Left and Right Destroyed Detroit

For 15 years, from the mid 1970s to 1990, I worked in Detroit, Michigan. I watched it descend into the abyss of crime, debauchery, gun play, drugs, school truancy, car-jacking, gangs, and human depravity. I watched entire city blocks burned out. I watched graffiti explode on buildings, cars, trucks, buses, and school yards. Trash everywhere!
Detroiters walked through it, tossed more into it, and ignored it. Tens of thousands, and then hundreds of thousands today exist on federal welfare, free housing, and food stamps!
With Aid to Dependent Children, minority women birthed eight to 10, and in one case, one woman birthed 24 children as reported by the Detroit Free Press, all on American taxpayer dollars.
A new child meant a new car payment, new TV, and whatever mom wanted. I saw Lyndon Baines Johnson’s ‘Great Society’ flourish in Detroit. If you give money for doing nothing, you will get more hands out taking money for doing nothing.
Mayor Coleman Young, perhaps the most corrupt mayor in America, outside of Richard Daley in Chicago, rode Detroit down to its knees… He set the benchmark for cronyism, incompetence, and arrogance. As a black man, he said, “I am the MFIC.” The IC meant “in charge”. 
You can figure out the rest. Detroit became a majority black city with 67 percent African-Americans. 
As a United Van Lines truck driver for my summer job from teaching math and science, I loaded hundreds of American families into my van for a new life in another city or state.
Detroit plummeted from 1.8 million citizens to 912,000 today.  At the same time, legal and illegal immigrants converged on the city, so much so, that Muslims number over 300,000. Mexicans number 400,000 throughout Michigan, but most work in Detroit. As the whites moved out, the Muslims moved in.
As the crimes became more violent, the whites fled. Finally, unlawful Mexicans moved in at a torrid pace. Detroit suffers so much shoplifting that grocery stores no longer operate in many inner city locations. You could cut the racial tension in the air with a knife! 
Detroit may be one of our best examples of multiculturalism: pure dislike, and total separation from America.
Today, you hear Muslim calls to worship over the city like a new American Baghdad with hundreds of Islamic mosques in Michigan, paid for by Saudi Arabia oil money. High school flunk out rates reached 76 percent last June, according to NBC’s Brian Williams. Classrooms resemble more foreign countries than America. English? Few speak it! The city features a 50 percent illiteracy rate and growing. 
Unemployment hit 28.9 percent in 2009 as the auto industry vacated the city. In Time Magazine’s October 4, 2009, “The Tragedy of Detroit: How a great city fell, and how it can rise again,” I choked on the writer’s description of what happened. “If Detroit had been ravaged by a hurricane, and submerged by a ravenous flood, we’d know a lot more about it,” said Daniel Okrent. “If drought, and carelessness had spread brush fires across the city, we’d see it on the evening news every night.” 
Earthquake, tornadoes, you name it, if natural disaster had devastated the city that was once the living proof of American prosperity, the rest of the country might take notice. 
But Detroit, once our fourth largest city, now 11th, and slipping rapidly, has had no such luck. Its disaster has long been a slow unwinding that seemed to remove it from the rest of the country. 
Even the death rattle that in the past year emanated from its signature industry brought more attention to the auto executives than to the people of the city, who had for so long been victimized by their dreadful decision making.” 
As Coleman Young’s corruption brought the city to its knees, no amount of federal dollars could save the incredible payoffs, kick backs, and illegality permeating his administration. I witnessed the city’s death from the seat of my 18-wheeler tractor trailer because I moved people out of every sector of decaying Detroit. 
“By any quantifiable standard, the city is on life support. Detroit’s treasury is $300 million short of the funds needed to provide the barest municipal services,” Okrent said. “The school system, which six years ago was compelled by the teachers’ union to reject a philanthropist’s offer of $200 million to build 15 small, independent charter high schools, is in receivership. The murder rate is soaring, and 7 out of 10 remain unsolved. Three years after Katrina devastated New Orleans, unemployment in that city hit a peak of 11%. In Detroit, the unemployment rate is 28.9%. 
…The ultimate fate of Detroit will reveal much about the character of America in the 21st century. If what was once the most prosperous manufacturing city in the nation has been brought to its knees, what does that say about our recent past? And if it can’t find a way to get up, what does that say about our future?”
As you read in my book review of Chris Steiner’s book, “$20 Per Gallon”, the auto industry won’t come back. Immigration will keep pouring more, and more uneducated third world immigrants from the Middle East into Detroit, thus creating a beachhead for Islamic hegemony in America. If 50 percent illiteracy continues, we will see more homegrown terrorists spawned out of the Muslim ghettos of Detroit. Illiteracy plus Islam equals walking human bombs.
You have already seen it in Madrid, Spain; London, England and Paris, France with train bombings, subway bombings and riots. As their numbers grow, so will their power to enact their barbaric Sharia Law that negates republican forms of government, first amendment rights, and subjugates women to the lowest rungs on the human ladder. We will see more honor killings by upset husbands, fathers, and brothers that demand subjugation by their daughters, sisters and wives. Muslims prefer beheadings of women to scare the hell out of any other members of their sect from straying.

End Anchor Babies!

Birthright citizenship is conferred by the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which says “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and the State wherein they reside.”
As America becomes inundated with millions of illegal aliens (estimated to number 10.8 million in 2009 by the Dept. of Homeland Security), birthright citizenship becomes increasingly questionable because of its association with anchor babies.
“Anchor baby” refers to a child born in the U.S. to illegal aliens. By virtual of his birthright citizenship, the child, when he reaches the age of 21, may then file for a US visa for his parents — and eventually other family members –through the legal principle of jus soli and the policy of family reunification. But saying that an anchor child can apply for immigration for his parents when he reaches adulthood is deceptive because many feel it is inhumane to deport violators of immigration laws with minor children who are legally American citizens. In practice, therefore, anchor babies do ensure continuing residence and eventual citizenship for their illegal alien parents.
The Pew Hispanic Center says there are 3.8 million illegal aliens with anchor children. A recent survey of patients from a Dallas-era hospital indicated “70 percent of the women who gave birth at Parkland hospital in the first three months of 2006 were illegal immigrants.”
When the 14th Amendment was ratified in 1868, the United States did not limit immigration and, by definition, had no illegal immigrants. Thus, the issue of citizenship for children born here of parents who are illegal aliens was nonexistent. Granting of automatic citizenship to children of illegal alien mothers is a recent and totally inadvertent and unforeseen result of the amendment.
There have been legislative efforts in the past toward ending birthright citizenship. Now that the historic November 2 elections delivered a Republican majority to the House, renewed efforts will be made.
Jeremy Duda of Arizona Capitol Times reports on Dec 28, 2010:
The 2011 legislative session will begin a few days early for two Arizona lawmakers who will be in Washington D.C. for the unveiling of legislation intended to end birthright citizenship.
Immigration hawks Sen. Russell Pearce, the author of SB1070, and Rep. John Kavanagh will attend a Jan. 5 press conference at the National Press Club to introduce model legislation that aims to force the U.S. Supreme Court to weigh in on the longstanding interpretation of the 14th Amendment that grants citizenship to the U.S.-born children of illegal immigrants. Lawmakers from 14 states who plan to introduce the bill will attend as well.
Despite worries from the business community, lawmakers and others that the controversial proposal will turn the Legislature’s attention from more important issues, such as the budget and the economy, Kavanagh said he doesn’t expect the birthright-citizenship bill to be a distraction. “The budget and jobs will be the No. 1 priority, but we’ll still be able to deal with a lot of other important issues like illegal immigration,” the Fountain Hills Republican said.
Legislators in Alabama, Arizona, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and Utah plan to introduce birthright citizenship bills in 2011.

DREAM Act fails:
Yesterday, Demonrats failed to muster the 60 votes needed to proceed with the proposed DREAM Act, effectively ending the latest push to provide a pathway for U.S. citizenship for illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children. The vote was 55 to 41.
Don’t Ask Don’t Tell passes:
Legislation to repeal the controversial 17-year-old “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy banning gays from serving openly in the military cleared the major 60-vote hurdle in the Senate on Saturday, all but ensuring the House-passed measure will become law. The vote was 63 to 33, with help from RINOs.
