Mets pitcher, a “Texan Republican,” links hurricanes to US pulling out of Paris Climate Accord

Private Mets’ Delta jet (l) that pitcher Syndergaard (r) flies each season

I wonder how much carbon emissions this pitcher and his team emit while flying via their private Delta jet each season to play baseball? Hypocrite.

From Fox News: New York Mets star pitcher Noah Syndergaard tossed a curveball to Twitter fans late Monday, suggesting the number of deadly hurricanes that have ravaged the United States in recent weeks is “karma” for the Trump administration’s decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord.

Syndergaard, 25, a starting pitcher for the Mets who has been on the disabled list since May, linked the spate of recent hurricanes – Harvey, Irma, Jose and Maria – to President Trump’s June pullout from the Paris deal. On Saturday, a European Union official said the U.S. may be open to reviewing the terms of the accord, but National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster quickly shot down the “false report.”

“U.S. pulls out of Paris Climate Accord. Then hit by 4 hurricanes in 6 weeks. Global Warming Karma?” Syndergaard wrote, adding the hashtags: “I’m a Texan Republican” and “wake up.”

Syndergaard, nicknamed ‘Thor’ for his likeness to the fictional character due to flowing, blonde locks and a chiseled frame, tweeted later: “…..and I know Karma.”

To that post, he added the hashtag “take the MRI.” That tweet was an apparent dig at himself for refusing an MRI before he was scheduled to pitch on May 1. Syndergaard ended up injuring himself during the game, after which he was placed on the disabled list. He has yet to pitch in another major league game this season.

Social media users quickly responded to the pitcher’s climate change claim.

“Stick to baseball because weather obviously isn’t your strong point,” Rdsknsfan3 wrote.

“You just lost a lifetime Mets fan. Stick to pitching, if you can stay healthy for even one freaking season. Stupidity Karma?” MaximilianoNJ wrote.

Added LHVPundit: “Stick to what you know (baseball) and leave the science to scientists. Mets fans don’t care about where you stand on political issues.

Libtard and TDS-infected Jennifer Lawrence’s latest movie flops

jennifer lawrence

Hypocrite Jennifer Lawrence: So concerned about “human activity” and “climate change” she flies by private jet.

Good.

Why is this idiot still living in the USA? The world didn’t end upon Trump’s election. Do as you said you’d do and get your butt outta here!

From Yahoo: The gonzo horror movie Mother! has had an impressively terrible weekend at the US box office, where it has suffered a triquetra of indignities, namely mass walkouts, an F grade from audiences and lacklustre ticket sales.

The film, which has inspired an abundance of explainers attempting to decipher what it all meant, grossed just $7.5 million at the box office despite a significant marketing campaign, making it the lowest wide-release opening of star Jennifer Lawrence’s career, and the latest film to enter into the pantheon of movies graced with an “F” score from exiting audience members.

Twitter is abuzz with tales of walkouts during screenings both in the UK and US, with reaction to the film appearing split down the middle – some calling it a masterpiece, others proclaiming it the worst film they’ve ever seen.

The film also received an “F” grade CinemaScore from exit polling at select cinemas across the USA, putting it company with critical darlings like Steven Soderbergh’s Solaris, William Friedkin’s Bug and the Australian horror flick Wolf Creek, all of which received F grades upon their respective US releases.

Right-wing Americans have also been gloating over the film’s financial failure (you bet we are!), following an attempt at boycotting Lawrence for comments in which she tied together Donald Trump’s election, his stance on climate change, “Mother Nature’s wrath” and Hurricane Irma.

Sports Illustrated is all ♥: Posts bikini pics taken in hurricane-ravaged areas

Hurricanes Harvey and Irma wreaked untold destruction and human misery across a wide swath, from Texas to Florida to the Caribbean islands.

A Category-5 Irma demolished 90% of the buildings on Barbuda, an island east of Puerto Rico; 95% of buildings in parts of St. Martin; devastated popular tourist destinations in St. Barts. Hannah Jeter, a native of the Virgin Islands and a former Sports Illustrated cover model, cried out for help on Instagram:

“People in the Virgin Islands are running out of fuel, water and food. People are dying!!! People are lost!!!! We are an afterthought and are not getting the help that we need!!! . . . This is an emergency!!!!!”

This photo provided by Caribbean Buzz shows the destruction left in the wake of Hurricane Irma Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, in the U.S. Virgin Islands The death toll from Hurricane Irma has risen to 22 as the storm continues its destructive path through the Caribbean. The dead include 11 on St. Martin and St. Barts, four in the U.S. Virgin Islands and four in the British Virgin Islands. There was also one each in Barbuda, Anguilla, and Barbados. The toll is expected to rise as rescuers reach some of the hardest-hit areas. (Caribbean Buzz via AP)

Amidst the devastation and human misery, this is what Sports Illustrated did — posting pics of bikini-clad models taken in precisely the places that have been ravaged by the two hurricanes, because everything is about sex, sex, sex.

Yesterday, Sept. 12, Sports Illustrated posted to Instagram a pic of bikini-clad Brooklyn Net cheerleaders, taken on the Caribbean island of Barbados. The pic prompted an Instagram user to write this comment:

What the f is wrong with you people the island is destroyed stop posting this stupid shit now

Four days before the cheerleaders pic, Sports Illustrated posted to Instagram a pic of a topless, evil-looking “swimsuit” model, which prompts this vexing existential question:

How can one be a swimsuit model without wearing a swimsuit?

A Sports Illustrated (SI) reader called the series of shots “incredibly shameless and inappropriate given the devastation in Texas and the Caribbean.”

Page Six contacted a SI representative, who “declined to comment”.

Sports Illustrated‘s publisher is Brendan Ripp, the son of former Time Inc. CEO Joe Ripp; its editorial director is Chris Stone.

Hollyweird libtard Jennifer Lawrence: “Hurricanes Irma, Harvey are nature’s wrath for Trump victory”

jennifer lawrence

Hypocrite Jennifer Lawrence: So concerned about “climate change” she ignores her own “human activity” and flies by private jet.

She’s got a movie, Mother!, coming out on September 15. Boycott!

From Fox News: Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence suggested the devastating hurricanes in Texas and approaching Florida were signs of “Mother Nature’s rage and wrath” at America for electing Donald Trump and not believing in man-made climate change.

Lawrence, who is promoting her new drama “Mother!,” appeared on British network Channel 4 on Wednesday, where she discussed topics ranging from the movie to the gender pay gap and Trump.

“It’s scary,” the actress responded to the interviewer’s assertion that there was “an end-of-days feeling” across the world and especially in the U.S.

“You know, it’s this new language that’s forming. I don’t even recognize it. It’s also scary to know that climate change is due to human activity, and we continue to ignore it, and the only voice that we really have is through voting.”

“And you have voted very recently, as a country” the reporter noted – to which Lawrence replied that “it was really startling” Trump was elected. She then suggested the recent hurricanes devastating Texas and nearing Florida may have been prompted by Trump winning the presidency.

“You know, you’re watching these hurricanes now, and it’s really hard, especially while promoting this movie, not to feel Mother Nature’s rage and wrath,” Lawrence said.

Lawrence later said the conversation topics of Trump and U.S. politics were “really polarizing and upsetting.”

She added: “You know, I’ve heard things and seen things on TV in my own country that devastate me and make me sick, and it’s just really confusing.”

After being asked whether she finds Trump confusing, the actress fired back, saying, “I don’t find him confusing. I think I know exactly what he is.”

Lawrence has never been shy about sharing her opinions on the President. In 2015, when Trump had just launched his presidential campaign, she said a victory by him would “be the end of the world,” during an Entertainment Weekly interview.

Feminists are insufferable: Tweet of a man rescuing a woman and child is “sexist”

houston rescue

Toxic masculinity at work in Houston/AP Photo

A picture of a man rescuing a woman and her child in the Hurricane Harvey tragedy surfaced on the internet (see the above precious photo). It has caused much scorn for the feminists and gender study professors about the role of men and women in society.

Matt Walsh, a columnist for The Blaze, tweeted out the above picture with the caption, “Woman cradles and protects child. Man carries and protects both. This is how it ought to be, despite what your gender studies professor says”

This tweet and the accompanying photo set the internet ablaze with cries of his tweet being “sexist,” “outdated” and “misogynistic.”

Time Magazine (via Fortune) had an “actual gender studies professor” weigh in on the “controversial” tweet.  Christina Wolbrecht, associate professor in the Department of Political Science and director of the Program of American Democracy at the University of Notre Dame, responded to Walsh’s message in a series of 12 tweets.

Here’s what the gender studies professor had to say:

Care work (for children, infirm, elderly) is necessary for human flourishing & has been traditionally performed by women for free, which contributes to women’s lesser financial & politics power. As care work has moved into the market, it remains poorly paid & overwhelmingly female, which again makes women more vulnerable. We [love] to laud a woman “cradling her child” but don’t provide paid maternity leave or support quality childcare & good pay/benefits for childcare workers (women, immigrants). But wait! There’s more! As budgets for care work (mental health, health care) have been cut, a lot of that work has shifted to agencies like police & fire, who often lack training & capacity, and result in troubling outcomes. At same time, economists note that a central challenge to male workers is skills mismatch – men reluctant to take jobs in expanding care sector, partly bc jobs are “female”, partly bc they are low paying, low prestige (bc their “women’s jobs”). IN SUM your rigid and illogical sexual division of labor, & related hierarchy of value, hurts both women & men, the US economy, & the flourishing of society as a whole. The value of work – holding the baby or carrying the mother should be recognized & rewarded, no matter who performs it. Given how much care is needed, all hands on deck.”

If I am mistaken, I believe Mark’s original tweet DID recognize and reward the mom for protecting her child. But that’s not good enough for the libtards who can’t see the natural and instinctual beauty in a man rescuing and protecting a mother and child.

Of course, the idea that a man should have to rescue a woman and child is a NO NO for feminists. In their minds, we need to erase the social and cultural constructions of masculinity. After all, they don’t need a man to save them!

Here’s the difference between feminists and conservative women (who absolutely LOVED that tweet/photo): We understand the physical and mental differences that God gives men and women. God designed the fundamental biology of each sex for specific reasons that we should celebrate.

We completely adore the strong men in our lives who protect us, shelter us, love us, and would give their lives for us. We value them for being the testosterone-filled manly-men that they are!

IN SUM, this toxic masculinity is a beautiful thing!

Hurricane Harvey: Houston looters shoot volunteer rescuers; target whites and Trump supporters

The saying “No good deed goes unpunished” is a comment on the perversity of human beings.

Cajun Navy is a Louisiana-based informal organization of private recreation boat owners who assist in flood search-and-rescue efforts.

Bob Price reports for Breitbart that there are three Cajun Navy groups doing rescue work in the Houston area, where thousands remain stranded in flood waters from Hurricane Harvey.

Yesterday, one Cajun Navy group saved the life of a woman they found floating face down in a flooded roadway.

But Clyde Cain of Louisiana Cajun Navy told CNN that the rescuers are being shot at:

“We have boats being shot at if we’re not picking everybody up. We’re having to pull out for a minute. We’re dropping an airboat right now to go rescue a couple of our boats that broke, and they’re kind of under attack.”

To protect the volunteers, members of the Louisiana Cajun Navy were ordered to stand down. A message on the group’s Facebook page said that the team members are safe after they were shot at by looters posing as people needing rescue during an attempt to rob and steal the Cajun Navy boat. The post has since been taken down, but below is a screenshot of the Facebook message:

Looters are not just shooting at Cajun Navy rescuers, they are boasting about their looting with the Twitter hashtag #harveylootcrew. Here’s a sample of their tweets, congratulating themselves for targeting white people (“crackas”) and Trump supporters.

Their pictures leave no doubt as to their racial identity, but not a word about #harveylootcrew from the corrupt and deceiving MSM.

To make a terrible situation even worse, despite yesterday’s efforts to prevent uncontrolled overflow using slow release, one of two major reservoirs in Houston — the Addicks Reservoiris spilling over for the first time in history. A Harris County Flood Control District meteorologist said the overflow from the reservoirs would eventually flow into downtown Houston, exacerbating the flood from Hurricane Harvey.

Below are the animal welfare groups that are helping to rescue and provide shelter for animals stranded in the terrible flood. Please donate!

Please pray for Houston!

Don’t allow yourself to sink into racism by generalizing from these looters to all black people.
