Everything is Russia's fault! Obama admin warns Russian hacks may fake election fraud!

The Obama administration has a new all-purpose bogeyman: Russia.
On Oct. 7, the U.S. government identified the Russia government as the hacker of those embarrassing Hillary, DNC, and Podesta emails that WikiLeaks has been releasing, and formally accused Russia of a campaign of cyber attacks against Democratic Party organizations to interfere with the election process.

But the Obama administration provided no actual evidence beyond a vague statement that the CIA is “confident” Russia is the hacker.
Now, the Obama administration has gazed into its crystal ball and issued a new warning — that Russian hackers may fake election fraud.
In other words, sheeple, don’t believe it even if you see clear evidence of voter fraud! That’s just fake voter fraud conjured by those nasty Russians! Baaaaa!
sheeple watch TV
Reuters reports, Oct. 20, 2016, that speaking “on condition of anonymity,” U.S. intelligence and law enforcement officials “are warning that hackers with ties to Russia’s intelligence services could try to undermine the credibility of the presidential election by posting documents online purporting to show evidence of voter fraud,” so as “to create public perceptions of widespread voter fraud.”
The unnamed officials said that they don’t actually have specific evidence of such a nefarious plan, but state and local election authorities had been warned to be vigilant for hacking attempts. U.S. elections are run by state and local officials, not the federal government. On Nov. 8, votes will be cast in hundreds of thousands of polling stations in 9,000 different jurisdictions, according to the National Association of Secretaries of State.
The unnamed officials said “evidence indicates that suspected Russian government-backed hackers have so far tried to attack voter registration databases operated by more than 20 states. Tracing the attacks can be difficult but breaches of only two such databases have been confirmed.”
At the same time, the unnamed officials also said there is no evidence that any hackers have succeeded in accessing equipment or databases used to record votes, and insisted that many states use systems that would be difficult to hack or defraud, including paper ballots which initially are tallied by machines. The officials said that the U.S. election system is so large, diffuse and antiquated that hackers would not be able to change the outcome of the Nov. 8 election.
The U.S. officials declined to comment on Republican candidate Donald Trump’s contention that the election is being “rigged.” Trump had said in the third and final presidential debate last Wednesday night that he would not say until the election results were known whether or not he would accept the outcome. A day after the debate, Trump said he would accept the results of the election “if I win” and that he reserved the “right to contest or file a legal challenge in the case of a questionable result.”
Michael Morell, a former acting CIA director who declared his endorsement of  Hillary Clinton in a New York Times op-ed, accused Trump of being “an unwitting agent of Putin” and that Trump “does not even know he is being manipulated.” On August 8, 2016, Morell told PBS/CBS interviewer Charlie Rose that the U.S. should kill Russians and Iranians to teach them a lesson for supporting the Syrian government against the so-called “rebels” who include radical jihadists.

Rose asked Morell: “We make them pay the price by killing Russians?” Morell answered, “Yeah.” Rose then asked, “And killing Iranians?,” to which Morell said, “Yes … You don’t tell the world about it. … But you make sure they know it in Moscow and Tehran.”
Meanwhile, ZeroHedge reports that Smartmatic, a company associated with George Soros, has secured major contracts to supply electronnic voting machines for 16 states in the U.S., including key battleground states like Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
According to Gateway Pundit, Smartmatic’s board includes Lord Mark Malloch-Brown, a man who had served on the board of George Soros’s Open Society Foundations and who was formerly the vice-chairman of Soros’s Investment Funds.

According to a cable released by WikiLeaks, in 2000 Smartmatic came out of nowhere and suddenly snatched up major contracts to supply voting machines around the world, including in Venezuela where its board included a Hugo Chavez campaign adviser. In 2004, with Smartmatic voting machines in place, Hugo Chavez won a “landslide victory” that all but destroyed his political opposition.

While the Obama administration is busy accusing Russia of hacking, it turns out the real cyber threat is China.
According to Bloomberg, Internet-connected CCTV cameras made by a Chinese firm, Hangzhou Xiongmai Technology Co., were infected with malware that allowed hackers to takeover “tens of millions” of devices to launch the distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks across the U.S. last Friday, Oct. 21.
In fact, the Pentagon’s Joint Staff recently warned the U.S. military against using equipment made by China’s Lenovo computer manufacturer amid concerns about cyber spying against Pentagon networks. A Sept. 28 internal report from the Pentagon’s J-2 intelligence directorate warned that use of Lenovo products could facilitate cyber intelligence-gathering against both classified and unclassified—but still sensitive—U.S. military networks. One official said Lenovo equipment in the past was detected “beaconing”—covertly communicating with remote users in the course of cyber intelligence-gathering.

The Evil Empire strikes back: WikiLeaks' Internet connection severed; RT's bank accounts frozen

WikiLeaks has been releasing to the public successive batches of damaging emails of first, the Democratic National Committee; then, Hillary Clinton’s emails when she was secretary of state; and currently, the emails of John Podesta, the chair of Hillary’s presidential campaign.
To say that those revealing emails are embarrassing and damaging for the Democrats and Hillary in particular, is an understatement.
So Hillary and her minions are furiously trying to contain the damage.
The Evil Empire strikes back.

Strike One

On August 31, 2016, Hillary Clinton threatened Russia with war. Accusing Russia of “hacking into the Democratic National Committee and even some state election systems,” she said:

“So we’ve got to step up our game, make sure we are well defended and able to take the fight to those who go after us. As President, I will make it clear that United States will treat cyber attacks just like any other attack. We will be ready with serious political, economic, and military responses.

Strike TWO

On the morning of October 12, 2016, CNN’s Chris Cuomo threatened the American people that we shouldn’t read the leaked WikiLeaks emails because “it’s illegal to possess these stolen documents” — which is rich, coming from Cuomo who had openly admitted that the media are whole-hog for lawless Hillary, saying “We couldn’t help her any more than we have, she’s got just a free ride so far from the media, we’re the biggest ones promoting her campaign.”
Cuomo then said “It’s different for the media,” i.e., it’s okay for the media to “possess these stolen documents”. So, instead of reading the WikiLeaks emails for ourselves, we should just rely on him and other MSM journalists to tell us what those emails say, “so that everything you learn about this, you’re learning from us.”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_X16_KzX1vE
What Cuomo said is nothing less than unconstitutional.
Writing for The Washington Post, UCLA law professor Eugene Volokh cites the Supreme Court’s decision in 2001’s Bartnicki v. Vopper:

“The First Amendment offers the same protection to the media as to the rest of us, including when it comes to possessing or distributing illegally obtained material (so long as you weren’t involved in the original illegal hack or interception or leak)…. But in any event, remember that, whatever First Amendment rules may apply, the media has no more First Amendment rights than the rest of us.”

Strike THREE

Last night (Oct. 16), the Alternative Media was alit with rumor that WikiLeaks co-founder and editor-in-chief Julian Assange had died.
What triggered the rumor was WikiLeaks‘ activation of “dead man switch” — decryption keys (like passwords) for three sets of files: on John Kerry,  on Ecuador, and a third file on the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).
WikiLeaks quickly put the rumor to rest with a tweet that they had activated the “dead man switch” contingency plan after Assange’s Internet service was intentionally cut off by a state actor — the government of Ecuador.
wikileaks-tweetwikileaks-tweet
RT reports this morning:

The internet is one of the few, if not only, available ways for Julian Assange, who has been locked up in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London for more than four years [since 2012], to maintain contact with the outside world. […]
The unverified claims of state sabotage come as WikiLeaks continues to release damaging documents, most recently thousands of hacked emails from Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager John Podesta.
Earlier this month, Assange claimed his organization would aim to publish documents “every week” in the run up to US Election Day on November 8.
Clinton’s campaign has made unsubstantiated claims that WikiLeaks is working with the Russian government to help defeat the Democrat in favor of Trump.
Last week the FBI reissued a statement saying it was working to “determine the accuracy, nature and scope” of cyber intrusions, but did not name any suspected perpetrators.
The ninth release of Podesta emails occurred on Sunday, bringing the total number of leaked files to over 12,000.
Among the hundreds of emails released are discussions about Clinton’s appeal among black voters, her email apologies, and Chelsea Clinton being described by one of her father’s longtime aides as a ‘backstabber’.
The batch also comes amid revelations of Clinton’s cozy relationship with the mainstream media, and how they work closely to control the media landscape and set up stories that show her in a favorable light.
Earlier this month, it emerged that Hillary Clinton reportedly wanted to “drone” WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange when she was the US secretary of state.
According to True Pundit, Clinton and the State Department were under pressure to silence the whistleblower in the months before WikiLeaks dumped some 250,000 diplomatic cables from 1966 to 2010, dubbed CableGate.
Unidentified State Department sources claimed Clinton asked “can’t we just drone this guy?”.

Strike FOUR

RT, formerly known as Russia Today, broadcasts 24-hours a day in English, Arabic and Spanish, but is primarily aimed at audiences in Europe and the United States, providing news, information and analyses that the MSM will not report.
RT has a British outlet called RT UK that broadcasts from London.
Today, as reported by AFP, in a tweet, RT‘s editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan said that all of RT’s bank accounts in Britain have been closed down. “They have closed our accounts in Britain. All the accounts.” She said the RT channel had received a ruling that “cannot be reviewed,” adding sarcastically, “Long live freedom of speech,” but gave no further details.
How any American can support and vote for Hillary Clinton is utterly beyond my comprehension.

UPDATE (Oct. 18, 2016):

In a tweet today, WikiLeaks identified the Obama administration as the “state actor” behind the cutting of Assange’s Internet connection. In the words of the tweet:

“Multiple U.S. sources tell us [U.S. Secretary of State] John Kerry asked Ecuador to stop Assange from publishing Clinton docs during FARC peace negotiations.”

“FARC peace negotiations” refers to negotiations between the Columbian government and the country’s largest Marxist rebel group — the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (in Spanish, Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia or FARC), a guerrilla movement in the continuing 5-decades long Colombian armed conflict since 1964.

Arkancide: lawyer of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange dead

The word Arkancide, probably coined by the website Arkancide, refers to potential witnesses to the Clintons’ dirty dealings in Arkansas suddenly committing suicide by shooting themselves in the back of the head.
Arkansas police and coroners, notably medical examiner Fahmy Malak who answered to then-Arkansas governor Bill Clinton, automatically called these shootings suicides. After Bill Clinton became President the phenomenon moved to Washington D.C., most notably when Hillary Clinton’s ex-lover Vincent Foster was found dead on a D.C. park bench and declared to also have committed suicide.
Now that Hillary is pursuing the presidency, Arkancides have resumed, including these recent cases:
dnc-arkancides.jpg
On August 9, 2016, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange intimated that Democratic National Committee (DNC) staffer Seth Rich, who was shot dead in Washington, DC, was the source for thousands of hacked DNC emails that expose the DNC as the corrupt arm of Hillary Clinton. WikiLeaks released the emails to the public, to the DNC’s embarassment. See:

WikiLeaks also obtained thousands of then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s supposedly-deleted emails, which WikiLeaks has been releasing piecemeal to the public. (See, for example “Hillary aide talks about animal sacrifice to demon Moloch in WikiLeaks email”)
Assange promises that emails especially damaging to Hillary’s presidential ambitions will be released right before the November election for maximum impact.
All of which makes WikiLeaks a thorn in the sides of Hillary and the DNC.
On August 15, 2016, WikiLeaks sent out a Twitter alert about another Arkancide — the strange “suicide” by train of Assange’s lawyer, John Jones, a prominent British human rights attorney.
WikiLeaks tweet on dead lawyer
Neil Tyson reports for The Sun that on April 18, 2016, John Jones, one of Britain’s top human rights lawyers who represented Assange, had died in an apparent suicide. (Assange, 44, has been holed-up for four years in the Ecuador Embassy in London, after the Swedish government tried to extradite him for questioning on rape charges.)
A spokesman for British Transport Police (BTP) said it was called to West Hampstead rail station in north London at 7:07 a.m. on Monday, April 18, after a man was struck by a train. The spokesman added that the man “was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
The man was John Jones.
John JonesBy all indications, Jones had everything to live for. He was only 48 years old, a successful, well-regarded attorney who lived in a £1.5 million home in Hendon, north London, with his beautiful and accomplished wife, 40-year-old Dr. Misa Zgonec-Rozej, director of an international law consultancy, and their two young children.
Dr. Misa Zgonec-RozejJohn Jones worked at renowned civil rights legal firm Doughty Street in central London, alongside Hollywood actor George Clooney’s wife Amal. He specialized in extradition, war crimes and counter-terrorism, taking cases from the former Yugoslavia, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Lebanon and Cambodia. At the time of his Arkancide, Jones was trying to save the lives of Colonel Gaddafi’s son Saif and Libyan spy chief Abdullah al-Senussi. Both had been ordered before a firing squad in Tripoli, but Jones was trying to divert their case to the war crimes tribunal in The Hague, Holland, which does not have the death penalty.
Doughty Street said in a statement: “John was a brilliant and creative lawyer admired and appreciated for his amazing sense of humour, professionalism and deep commitment to justice. His death is a huge loss.”

UPDATE (Aug. 25, 2016):

The mystery deepens.
The coroner in John Jones’ death, Mary Hassell, says she does not believe Jones committed suicide. Here’s WikiLeaks’ tweet:
WikiLeaks tweet on John Jones' inquest
Reporting for Ham&High on Aug. 19, 2016, Rachel Roberts has more details.
At the time of his death, Jones was being treated on a voluntary basis at a private mental hospital, The Nightingale, for “obsessive ruminating disorder,” although his attending psychiatrist Dr. Pereira had also diagnosed Jones for bipolar disorder after only an hour of examination.
At his inquest, the court was told that Jones had trouble sleeping. On the morning of his death, April 18, 2016, at 5:10 am, he left The Nightingale hospital for a walk. At approximately 7 am, Jones leapt to his death at West Hampstead Thameslink train station.
The train driver gave a written statement that it appeared to be “a deliberate act”. CCTV footage of the death was not played to the court because coroner Mary Hassell said she thought it would be “too distressing” but that she had watched it, and was satisfied that “nobody else was involved”. However, Hassell said she could not be certain that Jones had intended to kill himself because the balance of his mind was affected: “John Jones died instantaneously when he jumped in front of a moving train. However, the state of his mental health at the time meant that he lacked the necessary intent to categorise this as suicide.”
Jones’ mother, Peggy, said her son talked about suicide “only in the abstract” and told her he would never take his life because of his children. She said she was “shocked” at Dr. Pereira’s treatment of her son and by John’s appearance: “I was shocked at how thin he was. He couldn’t stop shaking, and I wondered what effect the medication was having.”
Jones’ wife, Misa, was critical of the fact that her husband was allowed to isolate himself in the hospital and had not been made to engage with the various forms of therapy on offer. She told the inquest: “I feel horrified that he was allowed out so early in the morning, in such a fragile state and without having slept properly for days. I genuinely believe that John did not want to die, and that he didn’t know what he was doing (when he jumped).”
