From AP: INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Twelve employees of a Democrat-linked group focused on mobilizing black voters in Indiana are accused of submitting fake or fraudulent voter registration applications ahead of last year’s general election in order to meet quotas, according to charging documents filed Friday.
Prosecutors allege that 11 temporary workers employed by the Indiana Voter Registration Project created and submitted an unknown number of falsified applications. According to a probable cause affidavit, a supervisor for those canvassers, Holiday Burke, was also charged, as was the group.
Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry said State Police found no evidence of voter fraud or voter suppression and that the charges against the workers arose from “a very bad, ill-advised business practice” of setting canvassers what appears to be a daily quota.
The Indiana Voter Registration Project’s effort to register primarily black voters was overseen by Patriot Majority USA, which has ties to the Democratic Party, including Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid and former President Bill Clinton.
Patriot Majority has denied any wrongdoing. Spokesman Bill Buck on Friday declined to comment.
State Police began investigating the group in August after a clerk in Hendricks County near Indianapolis flagged about a dozen registration forms that had missing or suspicious information. That investigation expanded to 56 counties where Patriot Majority said it had collected about 45,000 voter registration applications before last November’s election.
All 12 defendants face one count each of procuring or submitting voter registration applications known to be false, fictitious or fraudulent. Eleven of them face one perjury count each, while the 12th — their supervisor — faces one count of counterfeiting.
If convicted on all the charges each defendant faces up to 2 ½ years in prison.

Hi I’m Wayne Allyn Root. My United States Senator is perhaps the worst in the history of the U.S. Senate: Harry Reid. He’s certainly the worst Senator of my lifetime- the past 53 years. Amazingly, Harry isn’t just my Senator, he’s my neighbor. Harry and I live only a couple of blocks apart in Henderson, Nevada inside beautiful Anthem Country Club.
Can you imagine? We should do a reality TV show together called “The Odd Couple.” Harry Reid, the enabler for the Marxist agenda of the worst president in US history, living only a stone’s throw from “the Capitalist Evangelist ” and ultimate Tea Party warrior Wayne Allyn Root. What a pair of neighbors. One in a million.
From my 2nd story deck I’m looking at Harry’s home. I’m just a stone’s throw away. And there are times I’ve thought of throwing that stone. Just kidding. Besides, Harry is doing a good enough job of hurting himself. A while back, Harry fell while jogging. Just a few weeks ago, Harry hurt himself lifting weights. Harry’s so feeble, in such decline, I actually feel sorry for him. I wish him a wonderful retirement. It’s clearly time for golf, grandchildren and cruises to Mexico. But one thing is for sure- Harry cannot continue as one of the leaders of the United States Senate and one of the most important and powerful men in the free world.
This is getting embarrassing. Poor Harry has clearly reached well beyond his “past due” date as a U.S. Senator. If Harry were an airline pilot he would have been forced to retire a decade ago- long before he started falling down and hurting himself. If he was a CEO, his Board of Directors would have force-ably retired him years ago. If he were a typical government employee, he’d have retired to a life of leisure at age 50- that was almost three decades ago.
So why is Harry allowed to stay in his U.S. Senate seat until the day he dies? Will Harry be allowed to serve in the Senate while he’s pushed to his seat in a wheelchair and spoon fed by a nurse?
At what age is enough, enough? Shouldn’t a world leader be held to the same standards as a pilot? That pilot has to retire at age 65- even if he’s in perfect mental and physical shape. Why? Because after age 65, people start to fail. Bad things start to happen. You can’t let a pilot decide for himself when it’s time to go. For the good of society that decision is made for the pilot at a specific age.
We can’t have elderly pilots flying planes with 200 or 300 souls on board when they suffer a stroke, seizure, heart attack, or fall down and can’t get up. So why would we want a U.S. Senator who’s actions effect our economy, jobs, taxes and healthcare, still making important decisions, long after their “past due” date?
Is Harry Reid capable of making competent decisions at this point? We know for a fact Harry has suffered strokes while in office. He fell down jogging and got a nasty black eye not long ago. Then weeks ago Harry had a far more serious episode. The claim is he was badly hurt while exercising. He claims to have been using a band-based weight machine when the band snapped, hitting him in the face and knocking him unconscious with severe injuries. He had broken ribs, a severe concussion and terrible eye injuries that threatened the loss of his sight. From exercise?
I’m a fitness enthusiast. I understand exercise very well. It’s been the foundation of my life for 38 years. In all those years, I’ve never heard of someone getting a black eye from jogging. In all those years, I’ve also never heard of a serious injury from using an amateurish cheap band weight machine.
To make matters worse (and more strange) Harry Reid’s staff further disclosed his injury occurred in the bathroom of his home. His bathroom? Do you know anyone who lifts weights in the bathroom? The story is just too strange to believe. But either way this is clearly not a man capable of doing the most important job in our country.
Here’s a man who has done great damage to our economy and country as U.S. Senate Majority Leader. He was the chief enabler and water-carrier for the massive expansion of government, spending, taxes, regulation and debt under Obama. Harry Reid enabled Obama to depress the private sector with the most regulations in history; killing millions of jobs; suffocating the middle class; destroying the greatest healthcare system in the world; making the coal industry extinct and blocking the Keystone Pipeline (thereby dramatically raising all of our electric bills; giving amnesty to illegal aliens; and allowing Obama to violate the U.S. Constitution again and again.
Harry achieved all this while purposely preventing the U.S. Senate from voting on any bill that might help the economy, or undue the damage of Obama’s socialist Nanny State policies. Harry refused to allow bills to be voted on, for fear of hurting the re-election campaigns of his fellow Democratic Senators. He even presided over “the nuclear option” that he swore he’d never allow to pass- for the first time in history allowing bills and appointments to pass the Senate with merely a simple majority.
Term Limits would have forced Reid out of the Senate before any of that could have happened. What a blessing that would have been for America and the U.S. economy.
Now add in Reid’s declining health and fading ability to competently take care of himself, let alone the country…and you have a clear recipe for disaster. Harry Reid is indeed the poster child for Term Limits.
From now on I’d suggest “the Harry Reid Rule:” All politicians should be limited to two terms. One term in office. And one term in prison.
Embattled Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy recently made the news for all the wrong reasons.
Bundy made some ill-considered and imprudent remarks about “negroes” — remarks that have NOTHING to do with state’s rights, Bundy’s justification for not having paid cattle grazing fees for the past 20 years.
The media went into a feeding frenzy with accusations of racism. But black Americans have come forth, not only affirming what Bundy had said, but more importantly, reminding us of what really is at stake.
“Everything that he [Bundy] said is true, not one word that he said was a lie … with respect to black people, his observations of black people living in subsidized housing, in Las Vegas sitting on the sidewalk without a porch and just kinda idling their lives away in the middle of nothing to do. They would be better off back in South Carolina or wherever else they can have a home with their chickens around them and their children and something to do each day.”
Davis is a black conservative actress, talker, and blogger: “The point is a man’s [Bundy’s] freedom is under assault. He owed the tax bill, and you don’t send the National Guard to collect the tax bill. Something is wrong here, and it’s not Cliven Bundy. […] And if you’re a liberal and you don’t want a Republican administration come in and seize what you have because they don’t think you have a right to have it, then you need to protect this guy’s right. You don’t have to care about who he is, or how he lives his personal life, or what he thinks about ‘the negro’.”
Bullock is Bundy’s volunteer black bodyguard and a 6-year U.S. Army vet. Bullock says Bundy’s comments about “negroes” didn’t bother him at all, that he would even take a bullet for Bundy, and that he supports Bundy’s fight against an oppressive government that is a domestic enemy of the Constitution and the American people. “Mr. Bundy is not a racist. Ever since I’ve been here, he’s treated me with nothing but hospitality. He’s pretty much treating me just like his own family. I would take a bullet for that man if need be. I look up to him just like I do my own grandfather… I believe in his cause and after having met Mr. Bundy a few times, I have a really good feel about him, and I’m a pretty good judge of character.”
Daily Surge points out that even if Bundy were a racist, he’s “merely” a cattle rancher in Nevada, a nobody. But the media, again and again, conveniently overlook racist comments from powerful Democrats who are somebodies, including:
Click here for Daily Surge’s “‘Great’ Moments in Democrat Racism” video, featuring prominent U.S. politicians and liberal commentators who have gotten away scot-free with their blatantly racist remarks and disgusting racial pandering.
But then, having double standards and selective outrage is a specialty of the Left.

Nearly two weeks after a tense standoff between armed BLM agents and a 1,000-strong coalition (of armed militia-men, cowboys on horseback, states’ rights advocates and gun rights activists) over the BLM’s roundup of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s cattle from federal rangeland, armed militia campers are still guarding Bundy’s ranch near the town of Bunkerville, about 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas.
67-year-old Bundy says he doesn’t recognize federal authority on the land his family settled and has used since the late 1870s, when Bunkerville was founded. His dispute with the BLM dates to 1993, when the government designated the Gold Butte area as protected habitat for the endangered desert tortoise and cut Bundy’s allotment of cows. Bundy quit paying grazing fees (the current fee is $1.35 per cow per month). The BLM canceled his grazing permit and ordered him to remove his cattle. Federal judges upheld the agency action.
In what Bundy advocates call the Battle of Bunkerville on April 12, 2014, the federal government eventually backed off, citing safety concerns. BLM agents were faced with military-style AR-15 and AK-47 weapons trained on them from a picket line of citizen soldiers on an Interstate 15 overpass, with dozens of women and children in the possible crossfire. BLM police released the confiscated 380 cattle, gave up the weeklong roundup, and lifted the closure of Bundy’s vast range half the size of the state of Delaware. The agency said it would resolve the matter “administratively and judicially.”
On April 12, 2014, Eric Parker from central Idaho stood watch on a bridge with his weapon as protesters gather by the BLM’s base camp, where cattle seized from rancher Cliven Bundy were being held, near Bunkerville.
Left unresolved is the federal government’s claim that Bundy owes more than $1.1 million in fees and penalties for letting some 900 cows “trespass” for 20 years on federal rangeland.
According to his son Ammon, Cliven Bundy has since received several certified letters from the BLM, but hasn’t opened them. BLM spokesman Mitch Snow said the letters offer Bundy a chance to keep his cattle if he pays the $1.1 million in trespass fees, plus “reasonable expenses of the impoundment.” Agency officials have said the contract for the roundup was $900,000.
Jonathan Allen writes for Reuters, April 17, 2014, that the federal government’s decision to withdraw in the face of armed resistance has alarmed some who worry that it has set a dangerous precedent and emboldened militia groups.
Ryan Lenz, a writer for the Southern Poverty Law Center that is concerned only with “right wing” terrorism and racism but not the terrorism/racism of the left or of Muslims, fumes, “Do laws no longer apply when the radical right no longer agrees?”
Militia experts say that armed Americans using the threat of a gunfight to force federal officers to back down is virtually unparalleled in the modern era.
Alex Jones, whose Infowars website had helped popularize Bundy’s dispute, called it a watershed moment: “Americans showed up with guns and said, ‘No, you’re not,’ before confronting the armed BLM agents. And they said, ‘Shoot us.’ And they did not. That’s epic. And it’s going to happen more.”
The 5,000-strong Oklahoma Milita has pledged their support to Bundy and vows to take up arms against the BLM if needed.
Energized by their success, Bundy’s supporters are already talking about where else they can exercise armed defiance. They are searching for other Bundys, such as Tommy Henderson, a rancher on the Texas-Oklahoma border who is fighting BLM attempts to seize some of his land.
As for Bundy — a Mormon, father of 14, and a registered Republican — he’s not just energized but displays every sign of hubris.
He’d taken to the stage fashioned from a flatbed trailer to tell reporters he wants sheriffs around the country to seize weapons from federal bureaucrats. Bundy’s given interviews and daily press conferences on matters ranging far from his dispute with the BLM, including one on April 19 in which he called black Americans “negroes” and wondered aloud whether blacks on welfare would be “better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy? They didn’t get no more freedom. They got less freedom.”
Bundy’s rants already have alienated whatever supporters he had in Congress:
The BLM’s backing down is only a temporary tactical maneuver. As Martin Armstrong of Armstrong Economics puts it, “The likelihood of the Feds ever backing down is highly unlikely, The Federal Government is severely disconnected from the people and views anyone who stands up to them as a criminal and domestic terrorist.”
Indeed, two days ago on April 22 on KSNV-TV, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) already called the militiamen who have converged in Bunkerville “domestic violent terrorist-wannabes.”
Reid then ominously predicted that “something is going to happen” that will stop Bundy from grazing his cattle on allegedly federal land:
“It’s obvious that you can’t just walk away from this. And we can speculate all we want to speculate to what’s going to happen next. But I don’t think it’s going to be tomorrow that something is going to happen, but something will happen.”
The Battle of Bunkerville may merely be a dress rehearsal for what lies ahead – a rising confrontation between the government and the American people.
