Recall that in 2010, Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) feared that moving 8,000 U.S. Marines to the island of Guam would tip over the island. He said:
“My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize.“
Johnson would be glad to know that he finally has a rival for the Dumbest Congressman Award.
I give you Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY)!
On April 6, 2020, Schumer told CNN that he tries to take an hour’s walk every day, and that:
“I am wearing — yesterday for the first time, given the recommendations of the experts, I wore a mask. I didn’t enjoy it, but you have to do it. One of the big problems here we’ve had from the beginning, we have to listen to the experts, the medical experts.
And there have been too many times when others, I won’t name who, you can guess [referring to President Trump], have just ignored the military experts thinking — I mean, sorry, the medical experts. We have to listen to the medical experts, they know best. If they say wear a mask, I’m wearing a mask even though I don’t particularly enjoy it.”
Hey, Chuckie, I don’t need medical experts to know that a face mask is supposed to cover BOTH your mouth and your nose.
Like Satan, Democrats simply never sleep and are relentless in pushing their agenda of abortion, gun control, illegal immigration, and ever-bigger government.
Not even when the United States is in the midst of unprecedented monumental crisis because a crisis must never be let to go to waste.
On January 30, 2020, just when the Wuhan coronavirus began to occupy the world’s attention, Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA), who thought the island of Guam would tip over with 8,000 U.S. Marines, introduced HR 5717, a gun control bill with the sanctinomious name of Gun Violence Prevention and Community Safety Act of 2020.
HR 5717 would do the following:
(1) Gun license:
A license is required to purchase, acquire, or possess a firearm or ammunition.
Only those 21 years old or older, who have completed training in firearm safety and who are deemed psychologically and behaviorally “suitable,” are eligible for a gun license.
The license must be renewed every 10 years.
(2) Prohibited from firearm possession are:
Perpetrators of “domestic violence,” which includes those who engage in stalking, “harassment, intimidation, or surveillance” of the victims.
Those who have been issued an “extreme risk protection order,” defined as those who pose a danger of causing harm to the petitioner or others by having access to a firearm. “Domestic violence” is a type of “extreme risk”.
(3) The sale, manufacture, import, transfer or possession of semiautomatic assault weapons and large capacity ammunition feeding devices are forbidden by law.
HR 5717 has 18 co-sponsors, all Democrats. See their names here.

Two days ago, conservative talk-show titan Rush Limbaugh told his listeners that he’s been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer.
Stage 4 lung cancer means the cancer has metastasized (spread) throughout the body to other organs. Distressingly, the median life expectancy of stage 4 lung cancer is only around 8 months; the 5-year survival rate after diagnosis is only 4%.
Last night, at his State of the Union (SOTU) address, President Trump saluted and conferred on Rush Limbaugh the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
The Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Congressional Gold Medal are the highest civilian awards in the United States. Established in 1963 by President John F. Kennedy, the Presidential Medal of Freedom recognizes those people who have made “an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors”.
Demonrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who will be 80 years old on March 26, with her botoxed, many-times lifted, wrinkleless face, pointedly remained seated and refused to applaud.
Pelosi also showed her disdain by tearing up a printed copy of President Trump’s State of the Union speech.
Earlier, when Trump walked into the House chamber to raucous applause from GOP members and chants of “four more years,” Trump snubbed Pelosi by refusing to shake her hand, turning his back on the House Speaker who led his entirely-baseless and blatantly-partisan impeachment in the House of Representatives. (New York Post)
In a rage, Demonrat Reps. Rashida Tlaib (MI), Tim Ryan (OH) and Bill Pascrell (NJ) stormed out of the SOTU address. Other Demonrats, including Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY), Ayanna Pressley (MA), Steve Cohen (TN), Al Green (TX), Hank “Guam would tip” Johnson (GA), Frederica Wilson (FL), and Earl Blumenauer (OR), boycotted the SOTU. (Breitbart)
In his SOTU address, the “Great American Comeback,” President Trump graciously made no mention of the Democrats’ impeachment witch-hunt, focusing instead on his administration’s many accomplishments, policy goals and the eternal American spirit. He said:
“America’s enemies are on the run, America’s fortunes are on the rise and the America’s future is blazing bright. In just three short years, we have shattered the mentality of American decline and we have rejected the downsizing of America’s destiny. We are moving forward at a pace that was unimaginable just a short time ago, and we are never going back!”
From MSN: Five members of the Congressional Black Caucus took a $60,000 trip to see Beyoncé and other stars perform in concert in South Africa late last year, according to congressional disclosure records.
The lawmakers were U.S. Reps. Gregory Meeks of New York, Barbara Lee of California, Bobby Rush of Illinois, Terri Sewell of Alabama and Hank Johnson of Georgia, according to the data.
They attended the “Global Citizen Mandela 100” concert Dec. 1-3 to celebrate the centenary birth of the late Nelson Mandela and raise awareness of global poverty. In addition to Beyoncé, other musical acts included her husband, Jay Z, Ed Sheeran, Pharrell Williams and Chris Martin.
The lawmakers appeared in a photo that the Rev. Al Sharpton, who also attended the event, posted on his Twitter page.
The trip was paid for by Global Citizen, a nonprofit that lobbies for anti-poverty programs around the world, the Washington Examiner reported. The group said the presence of members of Congress at the concert would “showcase America’s ongoing commitment [to] health equality and global human rights.”
Other celebrities at the event included Oprah Winfrey and “Daily Show” host Trevor Noah.
“In the spirit of Nelson Mandela, we pledge to keep working with our colleagues in Congress, across the country and across the aisle, to make sure that every child in Africa and at home has the opportunity to thrive and grow in a safe and prosperous world,” Meeks said, according to the Examiner.
“As a Sr. member of the Foreign Affairs Comm[ittee] who understands the importance of both multilateral & bilateral relations on trade & foreign policy, developing that relationship is crucial,” Meeks said when asked how the trip was related to his congressional duties.
The National Legal and Policy Center, a watchdog group, called the trip a “mockery.”
“These members of Congress that were given an all-expense paid vacation to party with Oprah, Jay Z, and Beyoncé in South Africa are claiming with a straight face this was needed to help poor children around the world live better lives,” Tom Anderson, president of the NLPC’s Government Integrity Project, told the Examiner. “This was in fact, a mockery of House ethics rules on gifts and travel, the truly poor, and all Americans that expect members of Congress to live not only by the letter of the law but by the spirit and intentions of the rules of the House of Representatives.”
A representative for Sewell said her travel “was pre-approved by the House Ethics Committee and was not paid for at taxpayer expense” and that “Rep. Sewell and several other members attended the Global Citizen Mandela 100 Festival, a platform for world leaders to speak out against racial injustice and inequity, and voice their support for international assistance for underprivileged populations.”
According to the travel itinerary, the congressional members were in South Africa for one full day and used two partial days for travel.
In January, a group of Democrats was criticized for flying to Puerto Rico for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus BOLD PAC gathering in San Juan, where they also attended a special performance of the Broadway play “Hamilton.”
Better than Drudge Report. Check out Whatfinger News, the Internet’s conservative frontpage founded by ex-military!
Brendan Bordelon reports for The Daily Caller, May 21, 2014, that Garcia made another gaffe this week, claiming that low crime rates in US-Mexico border cities with lots of federal immigration workers is proof that “Communism works.”
Garcia made the comment during a Google hangout he convened last week to talk about comprehensive immigration reform with supporters. The Democrat attempted to point out how, for all their talk about limited government, many Republicans are fine spending loads of government money on border security. He babbled, “Let me give you an example, the kind of money we’ve poured in. So the most dangerous — sorry, the safest city in America is El Paso, Texas. It happens to be across the border from the most dangerous city in the Americas, which is Juarez. Right? And two of the safest cities in America, two of them are on the border with Mexico. And of course, the reason is we’ve proved that Communism works. If you give everybody a good government job, there’s no crime. But that isn’t what we should be doing on the border. The kind of money we’ve poured into it, and we’re having diminishing returns.”
The video was uploaded to YouTube by the America Rising PAC, a Republican PAC founded in 2013 and dedicated to opposition research. It’s also the same group that originally uploaded Garcia’s earwax escapade.
Garcia, who is of Cuban descent along with many of his south Florida constituents, told the Miami Herald he never meant to espouse Communism — and was instead taking a tongue-in-cheek shot at his GOP opponents.
Blah. Blah. Blah.
But Garcia’s district is already rated a toss-up by the Cook Political Report, and with their second attack on the congressman in a week America Rising clearly senses an opening in the south Florida district.
We already have a president who picks his nose in public, and a first lady who licks the snotdribbling from her nose.
Now we have a Congressman who eats earwax.
I urge Garcia’s GOP opponent to make full use of the video and the three screenshots I took of Garcia digging for and eating his earwax.
Nearly a year ago, on January 2, 2012, eight Democrats in the House introduced a curious piece of legislation — H.R. 3741: Federal Death Penalty Abolition Act of 2013, which seeks to abolish the death penalty under federal law. But the bill has only just been discovered by the media, notably The Hill on Dec. 16, 2013. HR 3741 specifically prevents anyone from being sentenced to death or put to death for all federal offenses that presently would bring the death penalty. Those offenses include:
1. Homicide-related offenses:
Murder related to the smuggling of aliens (illegal immigrants)
Destruction of aircraft, motor vehicles, or related facilities, resulting in death.
Murder committed during a drug-related drive-by shooting
Murder committed at an airport serving international civil aviation
Murder committed using chemical weapons
Civil rights offenses relating in death
Murder of a member of Congress, an important executive official, or a Supreme Court justice
Death resulting from offenses involving transportation of explosives, destruction of government property, or destruction of property related to foreign or interstate commerce
Murder committed by use of a firearm or armor piercing ammunition during commission of a crime of violence or a drug trafficking crime
First degree murder
Murder by a federal prisoner
Murder of a state or local law enforcement official or other person aiding in a federal investigation; murder of a state correctional officer
Murder during a kidnapping
Murder during a hostage-taking
Murder with the intent of preventing testimony by a witness, victim, or informant
Mailing of injurious articles with intent to kill or resulting in death
Assassination or kidnapping resulting in the death of the president or vice-president
Murder for hire
Murder involved in a racketeering offense
Willful wreckage of a train resulting in death
Bank robbery-related murder or kidnapping
Murder related to a carjacking
Murder related to aggravated child sexual abuse
Murder related to sexual exploitation of children
Murder committed during an offense against maritime navigation
Murder committed during an offense against a maritime fixed platform
Murder using devices or dangerous substances in waters of the United States
Murder involving the transportation of explosive, biological, chemical, or radioactive or nuclear materials
Murder involving the destruction of vessel or maritime facility
Murder of a United States national in another country
Murder by the use of a weapon of mass destruction
Murder by act of terrorism transcending national boundaries
Murder involving torture
Murder involving a war crime
Murder related to a continuing criminal enterprise or related murder of a federal, state, or local law enforcement officer
Death resulting from aircraft hijacking
Non-homicide related offenses:
Title 10: Offenses include
assaulting or willfully disobeying superior commissioned officer
mutiny or sedition
misbehavior before the enemy
subordinate compelling surrender
improper use of countersign
forcing a safeguard
aiding the enemy
improper hazarding of vessel
misbehavior of sentinel
death or injury of an unborn child
crimes triable by military commission
HR 3741 also states: “Anyone who was already sentenced to death for a federal crime prior to the bill taking effect would have that sentence reduced to a lifetime prison sentence without any possibility of parole.”
Nothing happens in politics without a reason. Certainly, members of the United States Congress, who are more preoccupied with fundraising for their reelection than with legislating, don’t propose bills without a reason.
We must therefore ask ourselves the reason for HR 3741. Is it motivated by Altruism, the highest and most selfless form of charity?
The answer, I submit, can be found in two clues: 1. The bill stretches credulity by the sheer scope of the crimes for the elimination of death penalty as punishment, including even for such egregious acts as genocide, mutiny, sedition, murder by use of a weapon of mass destruction (not even nuclear bomb or poison gas?), not to mention assassination of the U.S. president or vice-president, and of members of Congress. If genocide doesn’t warrant the death penalty (think Hitler), what would? Why not just abolish the death penalty altogether?
2. The bill’s sponsors:
They are eight — a sponsor and 7 co-sponsors:
Rep. Donna Edwards (D-Md.), the sponsor of HR 3741.
Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.)
Keith Ellison (D-Minn.): the first Muslim to be elected to the U.S. Congress.
Barbara Lee (D-Calif.)
Hank Johnson (D-Ga.): the bright bulb who thinks the island of Guam would tip over because of more U.S. troops.
John Lewis (D-Ga.)
Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.)
José Serrano (D-N.Y.)
l to r: Donna Edwards, Elijah Cummings, Keith Ellison
Jan Schakowsky, 69, is the daughter of Jewish immigrants from, respectively, Lithuania and Russia. Not only is Schakowsky a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, she is the most “Progressive” leftwing socialist communist member of the current US Congress, with ratings of between 90 and 100 from “liberal and progressive” interest groups — which means she is a pro-abort. She even has the gall to call abortion a mere “health procedure” and wants more “federal funding,”that is, to have taxpayers pay even more for murder.
On March 11, 2004, Schakowsky’s husband, lobbyist Robert Creamer, the executive director of the Illinois Public Action Fund (IPAF), was indicted in federal court on 16 counts of bank fraud involving three alleged check-kiting schemes in the mid-1990s, leading several banks to experience shortfalls of at least $2.3 million. In August 2005, Creamer pleaded guilty to one count of failure to collect withholding tax, and bank fraud for writing checks with insufficient funds. On April 5, 2006, Creamer was sentenced to five months in prison and 11 months of house arrest. All of the money was repaid. Schakowsky was not accused of any wrongdoing despite her serving on IPAF’s board during the time the crimes were committed, and despite her co-signing with her husband their IRS filings.
José Serrano, 70, born in Puerto Rico, is the avowed socialist who repeatedly has introduced House resolutions to repeal the 22nd Amendment that limits U.S. presidents to two consecutive terms. He is widely regarded as one of the most “Progressive” members of Congress.
In other words, the bill’s eight sponsors, being all “Progressive” Democrats are not individuals notable for their sweetness and light and altruistic love of humanity. If they were, they wouldn’t be “Progressives” who support the death penalty for the most innocent and defenseless of human beings — the unborn.
The logical conclusion, therefore, is this:
HR 3741’s real objective is to eliminate the death penalty for TREASON because Democrats think Barack Hussein Obama may be arrested and tried for treason.
Like that fascinating impeachment email that the Democratic National Committee recently sent to its supporters, HR 3741 is motivated by the Demonrats’ real fear that their idol, President Lucifer, is in serious trouble. ~Eowyn
A police surveillance video of a handcuffed George Zimmerman arriving in a police cruiser shows the shooter of Trayvon Martin as being leaner than he was in the standard photo we’ve seen. More importantly, Zimmerman does not appear to have visible blood or bruises on his face and head, despite his claim that Martin had punched him in the nose, knocked him down and slammed his head into the ground.
Matt Guttman reports for ABC World News, March 28, 2012, that the surveillance video, which was obtained exclusively by ABC News, shows Zimmerman arriving in a police cruiser. As he exits the car, his hands are cuffed behind his back. Zimmerman is frisked and then led down a series of hallways, still cuffed.
Zimmerman, 28, is wearing a red and black fleece and his face and head are cleanly shaven. He appears well built, hardly the portly young man depicted in a 2005 mug shot that until a two days ago was the single image the media had of Zimmerman. The initial police report noted that Zimmerman was bleeding from the back of the head and nose, and after medical attention it was decided that he was in good enough condition to travel in a police cruiser to the Sanford, Fla., police station for questioning. His lawyer later insisted that Zimmerman’s nose had been broken in his scuffle with 17-year-old Martin.
In the video an officer is seen pausing to look at the back of Zimmerman’s head, but no abrasions or blood can be seen in the video and he did not check into the emergency room following the police questioning. Zimmerman was not arrested although ABC News has learned that the lead homicide investigator filed an affidavit urging Zimmerman be charged with manslaughter. The prosecutor, however, told the officer to not file the charge because there was not enough evidence for conviction.
For the factual details of the Martin shooting, see my post of March 26.
The deputy manager of Obama’s reelection campaign is now accusingthe Republicans of “politicizing” the Trayvon Martin shooting. That is laughable, given the shameless race hustling of political figures such as Jesse Jackson; Representatives Bobby Rush, Maxine Water, Frederica Wilson, Hank Johnson; and Barack Obama himself — all Democrats.
Most egregious of all is the $10,000 reward that the racist New Black Panther Party has offered for the capture of George Zimmerman, “wanted dead or alive,” and the call for the mobilization of 10,000 black men to capture Zimmerman. The New Black Panthers are most certainly NOT Republicans.
The Obama reelection campaign’s accusation that Republicans are politicizing the Martin shooting is a classic example of psychological projection. We can now add “political party hustling” to the race hustling of Obama and his fellow Democrats.
UPATE (March 30):
Still photos from the video do show Zimmerman with a head wound. Go here. ~Eowyn
The dictionary defines “race hustler” as “individuals of a particular race who project themselves into the media spotlight as spokespersons whenever there is an alledged racial incident which involves their race. The use of the word ‘Hustler’, included as a part of the term, also implies that these individuals exploit a racial situation to serve their own interests.” Jesse Jackson is a race hustler who is exploiting the tragic shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Jackson calls Trayvon a “martyr” and says “blacks are under attack.” Barack Obama is a race hustler, saying on March 23 “If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.” Imagine the hue and cry if a white President had said that about a white victim of a black shooting.
Here are more race hustlers:
Congressman Bobby Rush(D-Ill.), a former Black Panther, was removedfrom the House of Representatives this morning for his hoodie grandstanding “in honor” of Trayvon Martin, the Florida teen shot last month.
A visibly frustrated Rep. Gregg Harper (R-Miss.), the speaker pro tempore presiding over the morning session, said: “The member will suspend. The member is no longer recognized. The chair will ask the sergeant-at-arms to enforce the rules on decorum.”
Clause 5 of House Rule No. 17 prohibits the wearing of hats on the House floor. Congresswoman Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-Florida) calls the shooting “racial profiling.” She said, “Trayvon Martin’s murderer is still at large. It’s been one month, thirty days, with no arrest. I want America to see this sweet young boy who was hunted down like a dog, shot in the street, and his killer is still at large […] even though we all know who the murderer is. This was a standard case of racial profiling. No more! No more! We will stand for justice for Treyvon Martin.”
[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=zNZczIgVXjg] Congressman Hank Johnson (D-Georgia) saysTrayvon “was executed for ‘WWB’ in a ‘GC.’ Walking While Black in a Gated Community.” Johnson is the genius who, in a House Armed Services Committee hearing in 2010, expressed his trepidation that moving 8,000 marines to Guam would tip over the island. Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) calls the Trayvon shooting a “hate crime.” A Marxist, Waters is among the most corrupt of Congress, named by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington to its list of corrupt members of Congress in its 2005, 2006 and 2009 reports, and by Citizens Against Government Waste as its June 2009 Porker of the Month. Waters has also been accused of stealing from funds donated for Haiti’s earthquake relief.
Most reprehensible of all is director Spike Lee.
Last Friday Lee retweeted to his 240,000 followers a tweet containing the purported address of Trayvon’s shooter George Zimmerman. But the address on Edgewater Circle in Sanford, Florida, is actually the longtime residence of an elderly white Florida couple, David and Elaine McClain.
The McClains, who are both in their 70s, have no connection to Zimmerman and are now living in fear. Elaine McClain is a school-cafeteria lunch lady and has a heart condition. The couple have received hate mail, unwanted visits from reporters and fearful inquiries from neighbors. They’ve fled their home and have temporarily moved to a hotel to avoid the spotlight and possible danger.
Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor contactedSpike Lee’s production company “40 Acres and a Mule.” Instead of issuing a statement or an apology, the executive office said Spike Lee had “no comment.” Although Lee’s tweet has been removed, it continues to be retweeted.
Where’s the outrage by these race hustlers about the all-too-prevalent black-on-black murders?
According to a U.S. Department of Justice reportsurveying homicide statistics between 1974 and 2004, 52.2% of the offenders were Black, 45.8% were White, and 2% were Other Races. Of the victims in those homicides, 50.9% were White, 46.9% were Black, and 2.1% were Other Races. The report stated that “most murders are intraracial” with 86% of White murders committed by Whites, and 94% of Black murders committed by Blacks.
Late Wednesday (Mar. 28) night, Spike Lee finally apologized to the McClains with this tweet, “I Deeply Apologize To The McClain Family For Retweeting Their Address. It Was a Mistake. Please Leave The McClain’s [sic] in Peace.” ~Eowyn
That’s because on Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives agreed to cut from the fiscal 2012 budget the entire $150 million in funding for the planned relocation of some 8,000 marines from Okinawa to Guam.
Democrat Congressman “my shoe size is bigger than my IQ” Hank Johnson can now rest easy. Recall that at a House Armed Services Committee hearing last year, he had expressed his trepidation that moving 8,000 marines to Guam would tip over the island.
Johnson is still “serving” Georgia’s 4th Congressional district and is still a member of the House Armed Services and Judiciary Committees. Did you know he’s an attorney? How did this man get through law school and pass the bar exam??? ~Eowyn
