Man shot in Seattle’s CHAZ wants to sue Seattle Police

Should have looked up the meaning of “autonomous” before entering the zone.

How about this:

Take a look at one of WA ST Gov. Inslee’s new police force task members

In response to the shootings at CHAZ/CHOP, Washington state Gov. Jay Inslee tweeted the following:

“We are going to take a hard look at how we manage independent investigations of police use of force in WA. Our new task force will recommend actions we can take to create a more just WA. It includes community leaders, impacted family members and law enforcement representatives.”

In this Twitter thread he lists all the members of the task force. This includes Livio De La Cruz – board member, Black Lives Matter SEA-KC.

He/Him: BLM SEA-KC board member and JD candidate Livio De La Cruz

Let’s take a look at Livio (he/him), shall we? From he/him Twitter bio: “JD Candidate 2022 at SeattleLaw. Freelance #Unity3D Programmer #GameDev, He/Him.”

Yes, Livio is going to study law. Which should make you very nervous considering this tweet by he/him on June 22:

“1. Police kill people
2. Seattle protests this
3. Republicans say, repeatedly, these protestors deserve to be shot and killed
4. White people agree, they bring guns, they shoot, they kill.
5. “It’s the protesters’ fault!”

There’s A LOT of presumptive and unproven statements in this tweet. You’d think a JD candidate would be able to back up all of he/him assertions with some facts, right? Here’s he/him following tweet:

“Do you know what it’s like to have people in power call for your death, to have them shout their bloodlust so loudly that the entire country hears it, only to have everyone blame YOU for the death that results from this?”

I’m no JD candidate yet I did take debate class in high school and learned how to prove my case. Here ‘ya go, Livio:

1. “Police kill people”

Yes, police do kill people. They kill in self defense, a criminal committing a crime, protecting a victim from a criminal, and in some cases of police brutality. They also kill people who are unarmed.

Police have contact with MILLIONS of people throughout the US every year. Last year, according to the Washington Post’s database of police-involved shootings, nine unarmed black people were shot and killed by the police, compared to 19 unarmed white people.

What’s your point, Livio, about “police kill people?”

“Police kill people” is a generic statement. Accidents kill people. Rioters kill people. Drugs kill people. A lot of things kill people.

My point is that police kill less unarmed black people than white. What is your point, exactly?

How Seattle “protests”/Q13 Fox News photo

2. “Seattle protests this”

Yes they do. Seattle protests that police kill people while they also loot, riot and burn down businesses. Because nothing says protestors are against police brutality by creating violence throughout your city.

I would also put forth that your definition of “protests” has been arbitrarily expanded to include the illegal occupation of public/private property and terrorization of fellow tax-paying citizens.

3. “Republicans say, repeatedly, these protestors deserve to be shot and killed”

Please provide evidence where republicans state that PEACEFUL protestors deserve to be shot and killed. We all know that the First Amendment, with qualifiers, applies to protests. Why leave out that one important word? I’ll wait.

For all those “protestors” who riot, loot and burn businesses, yes, they do deserve to be shot. That’s called self defense or affirmative defense, and one has a reasonable right to defend real or personal property. As a JD candidate, do you believe that law-abiding taxpayers and property owners should forfeit their legal rights to protestors?

4. “White people agree, they bring guns, they shoot, they kill.”

Livio, you provide no evidence of this statement. As a JD candidate, you should understand that you have a duty to provide a burden of proof and evidence that establishes the truth of your statement. Produce something that may pause me to consider your claim.

I know of no white person who showed up at the recent Seattle protests with their guns to shoot and kill. I’ll wait for your evidence.

5. “It’s the protesters’ fault!”

In the absence of rules of evidence, I guess this conclusion works for you.

Good luck in law school, Livio. And good luck in the courtroom.

Antifa terrorists take over 6 blocks in Seattle as their ‘autonomous zone’

America has descended into rampant lawlessness.

On May 31, 2020, President Trump said he “will” declare Antifa to be terrorists.

Why the future tense?

Doesn’t Trump know that more than four years ago in April 2016, the Obama administration’s DHS/FBI already had identified Antifa as domestic terrorists?

Antifa are more than terrorists: they are taking over Seattle to set up their own territory.

Last weekend, Antifa took over six square blocks in the Capitol Hill region of the city of Seattle, WA, declaring the blocks to be an “autonomous zone” that belongs to Antifa.

Gateway Pundit reports that Antifa erected barricades around the border of six city blocks and asked “folks with firearms” to take shifts “defending” the barricades.

Antifa are also demanding the businesses within the zone to pay them for “security”. Yesterday, business owners reported threats by the Antifa thugs if they would not pay for their “security”.

Ian Miles Cheong, the managing editor of Human Events, tweeted this social media post by Marcus S., a Seattle business owner:

Emboldened by the inaction of Seattle’s mayor and police, the Antifa terrorists say they will expand the zone and invade police precincts. The Post Millennial reports:

Following the surrender of the East Precinct of the Seattle Police Department to an Antifa mob and the occupation of Seattle City Hall, a source on the ground in Seattle says that other police precincts around the city are preparing to be the next targets.

Regarding the autonomous zone established by the Antifa-led mob, the source—whose anonymity we are protecting—says, “They bar media from entering and screen people coming in. They are walking around fully armed. Talking about making their own currency and making their own flag. SPD is talking about abandoning the west precinct now.

“West precinct has the 911 call centre. This is just like the Occupy movement. Soon we will have feces and drugs everywhere and people getting assaulted and raped in the encampments.

According to Andy Ngo, the editor-at-large of The Post Millennial, who had battled Antifa thugs in Portland, OR, the Seattle Antifa have a sub-Reddit forum on which they are posting about making homemade chemical weapons (chlorine gas), how to maintain water supply, and how to use volunteers armed with guns to push police back.

Last night, President Trump warned Washington governor Jay Inslee and Seattle mayor Jenny Durkan — both Demonrats — that if they don’t immediately take back the city, he will.

WA Gov. Jay Inslee: You can’t leave home for groceries if you refuse COVID-19 test

Washington State governor Jay Inslee is not only a rabid leftist (see “Washington Gov. Jay Inslee Signs Seven Anti Gun Bills in a Single Day“), he is also a despot whose inner tyrant was waiting for just the right crisis to burst out like the monster in Alien.

Like other “blue” Democrat-controlled states and cities, Inslee has moved the coronavirus goal post from “flatten the curve” — the justification for the COVID-19 lockdown — to ever-new rationalizations for continuing the lockdown that has already killed untold numbers of small businesses and rendered millions of Americans jobless. See:

Washington State Gov. Jay Inslee with his buddy Obama

Mario Lotmore reports for the Lynwood Times that on May 12, 2020, Inslee conducted a press conference on his plans for a statewide contact tracing initiative that will require those who had been in contact with an individual tested positive for COVID-19 be quarantined — along with their families. Inslee said individuals and businesses that refuse to comply will be punished in civil or criminal court.

Then a reporter asked Inslee this question:

“When it comes to contact tracing, how are you guys going to handle people or families who want to refuse to test or to self isolate? If they want to leave their home to get groceries I know you’ve said they can’t do that; how will you make sure they don’t?“

Inslee replied:

“We will have attached to the families a family support person who will check in with them to see what they need on a daily basis… and help them. If they can’t get a friend to do their grocery shopping, we will help get them groceries in some fashion. If they need pharmaceuticals to be picked up, we will make sure they get their pharmaceuticals… That’s going to help encourage them to maintain their isolation too.”

In other words, according to Inslee, in the State of Washington, anyone who refuses to be tested for COVID-19 or cooperate with contact tracers by quarantining themselves and their families will not be allowed to leave their homes to purchase necessities such as groceries and prescription medicine. Instead, the refuseniks must have a friend or a state provided “family support personnel” purchase those essential items.

For a video of Inslee’s press conference, go here. The exchange between Inslee and the reporter begins at the 38:55 mark.

Reducing the risk to public safety: Three prisoners released from WA state facilities due to Wuhan virus re-arrested for crimes

Washington State Gov. Jay Inslee with his buddy Obama

Prisoners across the country are being released to stop the spread of Wuhan virus in order to “protect public health.”

Or something.

You know that many criminals are going to go back to their old ways. Three of them recently released in Washington State did just that.

KOMO News reports that three prisoners released were re-arrested for new crimes. One smashed some boards at a restaurant while high as a kite, another stole items from a store and another took police on a high speed chase.

After the criminals were arrested AGAIN they were released AGAIN.

A representative from the Seattle Police Officers Guild said, “I said they were going to reoffend.”

Here’s the kicker from KOMO: “We asked Inslee what he’s now doing to reassure the public. He did not answer that question but his office sent us a statement that reads in part: “This group was chosen to reduce the risk to public safety, but no choice could be made to guarantee that there would never be a new crime committed.”

Read the KOMO News story here.

Meanwhile, Gov. Inslee has extended Washington’s “stay at home” order until May 31. And the process to re-open their economy is very complicated.

Yet the criminals are free to run around and continue their business as usual.

Washington State goal post moved from “flatten the curve” to “disease burden is low and decreasing” & four other measurements

Failed demorat presidential candidate Gov. Jay Inslee has extended Washington’s “stay at home” order until May 31.

The state has 15,594 confirmed cases with 862 deaths which the majority are confined to the King County (Seattle) area and the few counties below it. Washington state has a population of almost 8 million. You do the math.

Yet they remain in lockdown and will do so for many weeks to come, as outlined in the governor’s new “Safe Start” plan (see graphic above).

While the decision to put the state residents in lockdown was due to the Wuhan virus outbreak at the Life Care Center in Kirkland, it was exacerbated by media fear/hype and the garbage IHME models.

But now the “Safe Start” plan to re-open Washington’s economy is “data-driven,” and a “careful approach” and “thoughtful balance.”

The governor’s four-phase plan includes social distancing measures and health standards. Each phase will be at least three weeks — data and metrics will determine when the state can move from one phase to another.

Reaching phase 2 will have a lot of goal posts: The Wuhan virus disease burden is low and decreasing and the four capabilities (health care system readiness; testing capacity and availability; case and contact investigations; and ability to protect high-risk populations) are met. All these requirements must be met for the next phase to progress.

Read the whole “Safe Start” plan here.

Such a complicated re-opening phase compared to the absolutely quick plan to shut down an entire state. Gee, I wonder why…

A consequence of Wuhan virus? Suicides on the rise in eastern Washington county

This will come as no surprise, except maybe to the bureaucrats and “experts.”

Shutting down one’s livelihood and the economic machine that drives EVERYTHING for EVERYONE has consequences. A severe economic depression is about to hit this country due to governments shutting everything down to try and “save” all of us.

On March 30 I did the following post: “Suicides outpacing Wuhan virus deaths in Knox County, Tennessee.”

At the time a mayor in the county stated, “That number is completely shocking and makes me wonder if what we are doing now is really the best approach.”

Washington State has been under a “Stay at Home” order that has been extended to May 31.

Benton County, Washington has a population of just over 200,000 people. They have 494 positive cases of Wuhan virus with 43 deaths reported. You do the math.

The county has been ordered shut down for WEEKS and residents are to stay home for another month. As a result, unemployment is on the rise in Benton County.

So are suicides.

Last week the Tri-City Heralded reported that suicides in Benton County had surged in the seven weeks since the Wuhan virus outbreak. From their story:

The number of suicides in Benton County spiked since the middle of March.

Fourteen people died by suicide so far this year in the county. And eight of the deaths were between March 12 and April 23, Benton County Coroner Bill Leach said.

The increase coincides with the tightening of social and work restrictions to slow the spread of the new coronavirus and the respiratory illness it causes, COVID-19.”

The Kennewick Police also report “a growing number of calls about suicidal threats or concerns about people who might harm themselves.”

Committed to public health: Washington State governor extends “stay at home order” while homeless in Seattle free to set up camps at every street corner

Demorat Governor and failed presidential candidate Jay Inslee issued a “Stay at Home” order for Washington on March 23. This past Wednesday he confirmed that the order would continue beyond May 4, He did not indicate when that order would be lifted and is expected to provide more details today.

Guarantee you it will go on and on and on.

He also thanked Washingtonians for their commitment to public health, despite an upheaval to daily life.

Want to know exactly HOW committed the governor is himself to public health? Just take a look at what is going on in Seattle (specifically, the Ballard area): The city has paused the cleanup of homeless encampments sweeps.

Here’s a picture of what is going on in downtown Ballard, courtesy of Rob Harwood who shared them with Jason Rantz of MyNorthwest.com. See all the pictures here.

Homeless tents set up along a street in Ballard (Seattle)/Rob Harwood photo

Due to the Wuhan virus, the city is not making homeless encampments disappear. The homeless are free to set up tents where ever they want. Tell me how homeless people, without access to proper hygiene facilities, are positively contributing to “public health?”

Are the homeless disposing of their trash properly? Are they using restroom facilities or the streets? Are they able to wash their hands? Do they have to wear masks?

And of course with more homeless comes crime. It’s so bad that some residents are suggesting that one arm themselves (always a good idea, IMO). They don’t feel safe in their own neighborhoods. Read that story at KOMO News here.

Washingtonians are ordered to stay home while the homeless and criminals are set free. That’s how they protect public health!

Washington State extends May 4 “Stay at Home, Stay Healthy” order

On Tuesday night, failed demorat presidential candidate Gov. Jay Inslee announced that restrictions will not be lifted as promised on May 4 for Washingtonians.

Apparently the original goal post of “flatten the curve” has now been moved to “a steady decrease of the spread of COVID-19.”

From his announcement:

“The return to public life will occur in measured steps. It will be guided by science and informed by our public health needs, our ability to mitigate impacts, and the response of Washington communities.”

The governor now states that “we need significant statewide testing before opening back.”

The goal post has been moved, again.

Read the governor’s whole three-step plan to “a safe return to public life” here.

His blanket approach is not measured with the actual Wuhan virus cases throughout the state.

Seattle had set up a 250-bed “emergency hospital” to treat Wuhan virus victims in the Seattle Seahawks stadium in anticipation of imminent cases. Turns out they tore down the emergency hospital two weeks ago after it was determined it wasn’t needed. So now the goal post is being moved.

My father lives in a county in northeast Washington that has a population of around 44,000. It’s a very rural area and they have 19 confirmed cases of Wuhan virus. Yet they are shutdown.

In Kitsap County (Port Orchard and Bremerton area) they have a population of just over 251,000. They have 141 confirmed cases of Wuhan virus. Yet they are shutdown.

Why can’t the governor allow local municipalities with rural populations and those that have effectively mitigated impacts the capacity to determine what is best for their citizens? Does the science and numbers not matter? Why must they continue to stay at home and create more economic hardships for their citizens?

I think many of us have our own theories as to why the demorat Gov. Inslee isn’t allowing the whole state to open up. And it’s got everything to do with this being a presidential election year.

WA State Gov. Inslee slams VP Pence for coronavirus; then patient dies in WA

Gov. Jay Inslee with his buddy Obama

The demorats just can’t help themselves. In the midst of a medical “crisis,” they will do everything in their power to politicize the coronavirus to take down President Trump.

This is why you can NEVER work with these people to solve any problem. There is no middle ground with them. No “reaching across the aisle.”

They will not be satisfied until President Trump is done and they are back in charge. NEVER.

On Friday Washington State Governor Jay Inslee tweeted the following:

“I just received a call from @VP Mike Pence, thanking Washington state for our efforts to combat the coronavirus.

I told him our work would be more successful if the Trump administration stuck to the science and told the truth.

One day after Gov. Inslee’s tweet, the first coronavirus death was confirmed in the U.S. which happened in King County, Washington. Later in the day, Gov. Inslee declared a state of emergency over the virus, as two more King County cases have emerged. Three confirmed cases and it’s a state of emergency.
