The 379 Companies Pushing Homo Marriage on the Supreme Court

image
Per the Huffington Post:
Big business has come out in favor of same-sex marriage.
Exactly 379 corporations and employer organizations urged the Supreme Court to strike down state bans on gay marriage, according to a friend-of-the-court brief obtained by The Huffington Post. The document was expected to be filed late Thursday morning.
“Employers are better served by a uniform marriage rule that gives equal dignity to employee relationships,” reads the brief, filed by global law firm Morgan Lewis. “Allowing same-sex couples to marry improves employee morale and productivity, reduces uncertainty, and removes the wasteful administrative burdens imposed by the current disparity of state law treatment.”
The list, provided in full below, includes corporate behemoths such as Coca-Cola Company, Goldman Sachs, Google and Morgan Stanley. It also includes brands like Ben & Jerry’s, a division of Unilever, and sports teams such as the New England Patriots, the San Francisco Giants and the Tampa Bay Rays.

New England Patriots (and others) Go Homo!

Pats, S.F. Giants back gay marriage
Updated: March 6, 2015, 8:46 AM ET
ESPN.com news services
WASHINGTON — The New England Patriots are for same-sex marriage. So are the San Francisco Giants.
The reigning football and baseball champions, along with baseball’s small-market Tampa Bay Rays, are among the thousands of businesses, religious groups, advocacy organizations and politicians who are filing legal briefs at the U.S. Supreme Court in support of gay marriage.
The cases from Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee will be argued April 28, and a decision is expected by early summer.
Roughly six dozen briefs backing pro-gay rights plaintiffs in the four states are expected by the Friday deadline. Included is a “people’s brief” filed by the Human Rights Campaign with the signatures of 207,551 people.
The Super Bowl-champion Patriots, the World Series-winning Giants and the Rays are part of a brief from hundreds of U.S. businesses.
The Patriots play in Massachusetts, the first state to allow same-sex couples to marry, and the Giants represent a city that is notable for its lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
Rays president Brian Auld said it was important that his team stand up as well.
“We’re a small but visible business, and I actually think it’s important that we send this signal of inclusion to the entire region,” Auld said in a telephone interview Thursday as he watched the Rays’ first spring training game in Port Charlotte, Florida.
The team also has participated in the “It Gets Better” project to encourage LGBT teenagers who have been bullied.
“Our players have traditionally been supportive of these kinds of things,” Auld said.
The Patriots, Giants and Rays are taking a stand the same week New York Mets second baseman Daniel Murphy made headlines for comments on MLB ambassador for inclusion Billy Bean, who is gay. “I disagree with his lifestyle,” Murphy told NJ.com on Tuesday. “I do disagree with the fact that Billy is a homosexual.”
A team spokesman said Wednesday that Murphy will no longer address his religious beliefs and will stick to baseball.

Hollywood director says incest is fine

“In a world without God, everything is permitted.” -Fyodor Dostoyevsky

We warned you!

The approval of gay same-sex marriage is a slippery slope. With it, the door is opened to the legitimation of other social taboos.

Earlier this month, I posted on Brazil recognizing a polygamous civil union of a man and two women. Now, a Hollywood director is voicing his support of incest.

Nick Cassavetes, the director of the romantic movie, The Notebook, and son of the late John Cassavetes, says he doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with incest, comparing it to being gay, and that we should all just “love who [sic] you want.”

Open-minded: Filmmaker Nick Cassavetes admitted in an interview that he thinks incest should be accepted the same way gay marriage isOpen-minded & neck-tattooed Nick Cassavetes

Victoria Wellman reports for the UK’s Daily Mail, Sept. 10, 2012, that in an interview about his new movie, Yellow, Nick Cassavetes defended the movie’s “heroine” Mary’s affair with her brother.

Although has has no personal experience with incest, Cassavetes says he’s not in a position to condemn incest and compares it to gay marriage.

Yellow stars Cassavetes’ ex-wife Heather Wahlquist, who plays Mary, a woman addicted to pain-killers who loses her teaching job in Oklahoma. Cassavetes explains a “tender and affecting” scene in which Mary goes to visit her brother in prison:

“We started thinking about [incest]. We had heard a few stories where brothers and sisters were completely, absolutely in love with one another. You know what? This whole movie is about judgment, and lack of it, and doing what you want. Who gives a shit if people judge you? I’m not saying this is an absolute but in a way, if you’re not having kids – who gives a damn? Love who you want. Isn’t that what we say? Gay marriage – love who you want? If it’s your brother or sister it’s super-weird, but if you look at it, you’re not hurting anybody except every single person who freaks out because you’re in love with one another.’

The movie took three years to make owing to recurring funding problems and was finally finished with Cassavetes’ winnings at the casino.

“During the next hundred years, the question for those who love liberty is whether we can survive the most insidious and duplicitous attacks from within, from those who undermine the virtues of our people, doing in advance the work of the Father of Lies. “There is no such thing as truth,” they teach even the little ones. “Truth is bondage. Believe what seems right to you. There are as many truths as there are individuals. Follow your feelings. Do as you please. Get in touch with your self. Do what feels comfortable.” Those who speak in this way prepare the jails of the twenty-first century. They do the work of tyrants.” ― Michael Novak

French Cardinal Philippe Barbarin of Lyon warns that the legalization of same-sex marriage would manifest a “breakdown in society,” and predicts that polygamy and incest could eventually be legalized. For that, Barbarin is being blasted by Bertrand Delanoë, the openly homosexual mayor of Paris.

Delanoë said: “It is very shocking and even surprising coming from him, because he is someone I consider a wise man. I don’t know what came over him, he flipped his lid a little bit and what he said was downright ugly.”

Someone should send this post to Cardinal Barbarin, and Barbarin should demand an apology from Mayor Delanoë. All Barbarin did was speak the truth.

Brazil recognizes polygamous civil union of threesome

Don’t say you weren’t warned about the gay marriage slippery-slope.

Two women and a man just entered a “civil partnership” with each other in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Simon Caldwell reports for Catholic Herald, Aug. 30, 2012, that the legal recognition of the ménage à trois follows a decision by the Brazilian government to extend civil partnerships to same-sex couples. Previously, the law regulating “stable unions” existed solely for heterosexual couples who were cohabiting.

But the relaxation of the rules has led to the three people being registered as a stable union in Brazil for the first time after the notary said she could find no objections.

The Brazilian Family Institute, which openly supports both polygamous and same-sex unions, welcomed the decision. The institute’s vice president said, “We have to respect the private nature of relationships and learn to live in this pluralistic society recognizing different desires.”

British sociologist Patricia Morgan, who specializes in family policy and criminology, said she was not surprised by the ruling and that similar attempts have been made in the Netherlands. Morgan said the proliferation of a range of relationships that will be legally considered equal to marriage is inevitable once the institution of marriage had been redefined:

“Once you break away from one man and one woman, what do you expect? This is the traditional regenerative relationship. Once you allow two men [to wed], where are your boundaries? People say this won’t happen but where does it stop? You are going to get polygamy from Muslims, aren’t you? People are simply shutting their eyes if they think that this is not going to happen.”

Morgan maintains that part of the problem is the modern view of marriage as a “couple relationship” based on subjective definitions of “love” — to the exclusion of its wider purpose as a public contract serving the common good by supporting the procreation and education of future generations.

Certain to be next on the agenda is the civil union and marriage of a human to an animal. Calling it bestiality is just soooo judgmental! Snark.

Less than 2% of Americans are homosexuals

Americans Have No Idea How Few Gay People There Are.

That’s the title of a May 31, 2012 article by Garance Franke-Ruta, a senior editor of The Atlantic, a left-leaning magazine. Here’s the article:
Surveys show a shockingly high fraction think a quarter of the country is gay or lesbian, when the reality is that it’s probably less than 2 percent.

queernation.banner.jpg

One in ten. It’s the name of the group that puts on the Reel Affirmations gay and lesbian film festival in Washington, D.C., each year. It’s the percent popularized by the Kinsey Report as the size of the gay male population. And it’s among the most common figures pointed to in popular culture as an estimate of how many people are gay or lesbian.
But what percentage of the population is actually gay or lesbian? With the debate over same-sex marriage again an emerging fault line in American political life, the answer comes as a surprise: A lower number than you might think — and a much, much, much lower one than most Americans believe.
In surveys conducted in 2002 and 2011, pollsters at Gallup found that members of the American public massively overestimated how many people are gay or lesbian. In 2002, a quarter of those surveyed guessed upwards of a quarter of Americans were gay or lesbian (or “homosexual,” the third option given). By 2011, that misperception had only grown, with more than a third of those surveyed now guessing that more than 25 percent of Americans are gay or lesbian. Women and young adults were most likely to provide high estimates, approximating that 30 percent of the population is gay. Overall, “U.S. adults, on average, estimate that 25 percent of Americans are gay or lesbian,” Gallup found. Only 4 percent of all those surveyed in 2011 and about 8 percent of those surveyed in 2002 correctly guessed that fewer than 5 percent of Americans identify as gay or lesbian.

Such a misunderstanding of the basic demographics of sexual behavior and identity in America has potentially profound implications for the acceptance of the gay-rights agenda. On the one hand, people who overestimate the percent of gay Americans by a factor of 12 seem likely to also wildly overestimate the cultural impact of same-sex marriage. On the other hand, the extraordinary confusion over the percentage of gay people may reflect a triumph of the gay and lesbian movement’s decades-long fight against invisibility and the closet.
“My first reaction to that, aside from a little chuckle, is that it’s actually a sign of the success of the movement for LGBT rights,” said Stuart Gaffney, a spokesman for the group Marriage Equality USA. “We are a small minority, and we will never have full equality without the support of the majority, and a poll like that suggests the majority is extremely aware of their gay neighbors, coworkers, and friends.”
In recent years, as homosexuality has become less stigmatized, pro-gay rights groups have come around to acknowledging that a smaller percent of people identify themselves as gay than some of the early gay rights rhetoric claimed, based on Alfred Kinsey’s 1948 report, “Sexuality in the Human Male.” His survey research on non-random populations in the immediate post-World War II period concluded that 10 percent of men “were predominantly homosexual between the ages of 16 and 55” and that 37 percent had had at least one homosexual experience in their lives, but did not get into questions of identity per se.
Contemporary research in a less homophobic environment has counterintuitively resulted in lower estimates rather than higher ones. The Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law, a gay and lesbian think tank, released a study in April 2011 estimating based on its research that just 1.7 percent of Americans between 18 and 44 identify as gay or lesbian, while another 1.8 percent — predominantly women — identify as bisexual. Far from underestimating the ranks of gay people because of homophobia, these figures included a substantial number of people who remained deeply closeted, such as a quarter of the bisexuals. A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention survey of women between 22 and 44 that questioned more than 13,500 respondents between 2006 and 2008 found very similar numbers: Only 1 percent of the women identified themselves as gay, while 4 percent identified as bisexual.
Higher numbers can be obtained when asking about lifetime sexual experiences, rather than identity. The Williams Institute found that, overall, an estimated 8.2 percent of the population had engaged in some form same-sex sexual activity. Put another way, 4.7 percent of the population had wandered across the line without coming to think of themselves as either gay or bisexual. Other studies suggest those individuals are, like the bisexuals, mainly women: The same CDC study that found only 1 percent of women identify as lesbian, for example, found that 13 percent of women reported a history of some form of sexual contact with other women.
“Estimates of those who report any lifetime same-sex sexual behavior and any same-sex sexual attraction are substantially higher than estimates of those who identify as lesbian, gay, or bisexual,” the Williams Institute’s Gary J. Gates concluded.
These numbers are significant because identity — and not behavior — is the central determinant of whether or not someone will seek a same-sex marriage. A straight woman who makes out a couple of times with a female friend in college is not going to seek a same-sex marriage, nor is a guy who fooled around once with a male friend while drunk in high school. Neither individual is demographically relevant to the question of how often same-sex marriages will occur. And it’s not clear at all what fraction of bisexuals will seek out same-sex marriages.
Overall, there have been fewer than 75,000 state-sanctioned same-sex marriages in the United States since they began to be permitted less than a decade ago, according to an estimate by Marriage Equality USA. Over the eight years since Massachusetts became the first state to legalize same-sex marriage in May 2004, 18,462 same-sex couples married in the Bay State. Another 18,000 were estimated to have wed in California during the few months before Proposition 8 passed in 2008, banning future ones; those marriages remain on the books, as the proposition was not retroactive. It’s not totally clear how many same-sex marriages have taken place in New York, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, and the District of Columbia, the other jurisdictions where it is permitted.
[…] One thing’s for sure: it’s hard to imagine the fact that so many think the country is more than a quarter gay or lesbian has no impact on our public policy.
~End of article~
Homosexuals comprise less than 2% of the U.S. population, but Americans inexplicably believe their numbers are grossly higher — from 10% to 25% (1 out of every 4 Americans!) to 30% (nearly 1 out of every 3 Americans!).
And so this teeny miniscule group wields outsized power and influence on TV and movies, comics books, public school curriculum (see here and here), retail stores (see JC Penney and Chevy), our First Amendment free speech rights (see Christian teacher removed for criticizing gay marriage), and government policy (DADT, gay marriage).
Gosh, do you think there’s an AGENDA that’s being systematically foisted on this country?
“A middle ground might be to fight for same-sex marriage and its benefits and then, once granted, redefine the institution of marriage completely, to demand the right to marry not as a way of adhering to society’s moral codes but rather to…radically alter an archaic institution.” –Michelangelo Signorile, “Bridal Wave,” OUT magazine, December/January 1994, p. 161.
“[Legalizing “same-sex marriage”] is also a chance to wholly transform the definition of family in American culture. It is the final tool with which to dismantle all sodomy statutes, get education about homosexuality and AIDS into public schools, and, in short, usher in a sea change in how society views and treats us.” –Michelangelo Signorile, “I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do,” OUT magazine, May 1996, p. 30. Barnhardt rips into Obama on sodomy

After more than three years of the Imposter in the White House, many of us are almost numbed to his deeds and stunts. For sheer self-protection, we’ve amped up our threshold for feeling outraged by what this man does and what he’s capable of doing. None of the writers of Fellowship of the Minds even wrote a post on Obama’s reversal of his stance on homosexual marriage — from his previous opposition, to “I’m not sure,” to now support.
What’s repugnant is not just his change in stance. What’s repugnant is that Obama justified his support for homosexual marriage by referring to Jesus Christ.

Ann Barnhardt puts this into the proper perspective in her essay of May 9, 2012, “Mashing the Throttle on the Highway to Hell”:

Today, something happened in the “political” sphere that is truly unprecedented, although I hesitate to call it “political”, because it is obvious to anyone who is not in a Level One coma that we are way, way beyond the mere domain of “politics” at this point.

Barack Obama, who is the face and frontman for the government now controlling the territory and assets formerly called the United States of America, said and did something that has never, ever been done. He did something so evil that it literally has no precedent, and in itself guarantees that God’s wrath will be poured out on this nation and its people, and that wrath will probably be more intense than anything yet experienced by man. Yes, I fully appreciate the enormity of what I just said. Let me say it again: God’s wrath will be poured out on this nation and its people, and that wrath will probably be more intense than anything yet experienced by man. The Noahic flood brought relatively swift death to the people killed in it. I anticipate that people will be begging for death before God’s wrath is fully poured out and His Justice satisfied on the former United States of America.

What did Obama say?

Barack Obama directly correlated the Perfect Sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross to sodomy.

“This is something that, you know, [Michelle and I have] talked about over the years and she, you know, she feels the same way, she feels the same way that I do. And that is that, in the end the values that I care most deeply about and she cares most deeply about is how we treat other people and, you know, I, you know, we are both practicing Christians and obviously this position may be considered to put us at odds with the views of others but, you know, when we think about our faith, the thing at root that we think about is, not only Christ sacrificing himself on our behalf, but it’s also the Golden Rule, you know, treat others the way you would want to be treated…”

So, according to the antichrist Obama and his antichrist “wife”, the perfect, infinite act of charity, namely God freely choosing to give Himself totally and without reserve on the Cross for humanity in order to make reparation for the sins of the world, is an ANALOGUE to one man jamming his erect penis up into the feces-laden descending colon of another man, and using that as a point of friction for masturbation. Both actions, according to the antichrist Obama, are manifestations of “love”, and thus Christ Crucified points, through the prism of the Golden Rule, to the “do unto others” of sodomy in all its forms, including anal sex, oral sex, masturbation in all its forms and every perversion known to man. Thus, the act of sodomy, because, according to Obama, it is a subset of the perfect Charity of Christ Crucified, MUST be celebrated by calling it “marriage”.

There ARE NOT WORDS to express the enormity of the blasphemy in this. There are four sins that cry out to God for vengeance. Yes, God’s vengeance – that thing that all of these superfun rockband and Marxist-homosexualist clergy are trying so desperately to convince you does not exist – GOD’S VENGEANCE. In reverse order, here they are:

4. Depriving the laborer of his just wage. (This is the core objective of Marxism – human slavery.)

3. Injustice to widows and orphans. (Death panels, ponzi scheme government healthcare and retirement entitlements, and abortion, which is the slaughter of children not wanted by their parents, also known as “orphans”, just to name a few manifestations.)

2. Murder.

and finally, in the number one position, the number one sin of mankind that CRIES OUT TO GOD FOR VENGENACE:

1. Sodomy.

Barack Obama just completed the quadfecta and used the Sacrifice on Calvary of Our Blessed Lord to promote, ratify and celebrate sodomy.

Folks, God will not be mocked. I don’t know much, but I do know with every fiber of my being that this WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. This nation will pay for this blasphemy and sacrilege, the likes of which I don’t think has ever happened before in human history. Hitler never said anything like this. Neither did Lenin, Stalin, Mao or any other despot for the last 2000 years. Even in pagan cultures where sodomy may have been promoted, never did the leader of pagan hordes specifically use the Holy and Perfect Sacrifice of Calvary to promote sodomy.

And you know the saddest part? Hardly anyone in this culture is going to do anything more than shrug their shoulders and shake their head at this. The offense that has been given to the Sacred Heart of Jesus is unfathomable by human minds, and yet I doubt EVEN ONE PRIEST will mention this on Sunday in his sermon, because, you know, the IRS might take away the 501(c) exemption, or something. Not only should every priest on earth be bringing the hellfire and brimstone on Sunday in his sermon, but every bishop and every priest should immediately start offering DAILY masses specially for reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for this blasphemy, and admonishing every God-fearing person to get their butts to Mass and pray for mercy like they have never prayed before.

Finally, I just want to point out that the antichrist Obama’s motives in this were 100% demonic. Think about it. There was a referendum in North Carolina on same-sex marriage yesterday and it came out overwhelmingly AGAINST same-sex marriage. The left is already in Obama’s pocket. He’s not picking up any “votes” by doing this now. In fact, North Carolina proves that independents are firmly AGAINST same-sex marriage, so he’s pissing off independents too. No, he said these things because he is, in his heart and in his soul, pure, sulfuric evil from the deepest pit of hell. Remember, to call this a “political mis-step” means that you are naively assuming that there are going to be fairly contested elections in November. People, I’m telling you, the last free elections in this country are BEHIND US. Obama is perfectly willing and happy to piss off the majority of the country because he knows that “elections” will be pure theatrical fiction, if they are held at all.

I suspect we are very close to the end of our lives and our civilization as we have known them, and deservedly so. This simply CAN NOT go on. Prepare yourselves and your families, both physically and spiritually.

A booth selling “religious dildos” in San Francisco

Barnhardt is right in calling support for “gay marriage” what it is. It is support for SODOMY.
See for yourself the rampant promiscuity and the terrible physical and psychological diseases (ever heard of the “gay bowel syndrome”?) that attend the homosexual “lifestyle.” Click here.
Henry Makow points out that “gay marriage” pertains to only 1/10th of one per cent of the population. That’s how many “gays” marry in places where it is legal. For this segment, who represent less than 5% of all homosexuals, we are redefining the central rite of 98% of the population who are heterosexuals.

Pro-wrestler to traditional marriage supporters: "kill yourself"

Christian quarterback Tim Tebow told homosexuals to go “kill yourself” and “drink bleach”!

No. Tebow didn’t do that.
But if he did, we wouldn’t hear or see the end of it in the news. The screams of outrage would be deafening.
So why is it that the media aren’t telling us about pro-wrestler CM Punk (real name Philip Jack Brooks) telling supporters of traditional marriage to go “kill yourself” and “drink bleach”?

The aptly named Punk

Ben Johnson reports for LifeSiteNews, May 9, 2012, that on WWE wrestling superstar C.M. Punk told his Twitter followers he opposed North Carolina’s constitutional amendment to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman, which passed in a landslide on Tuesday.
One of his followers responded, “Man was meant for woman, and even the thought of homo’s make me sick.” To which, Punk replied: “Kill yourself.” He also told another supporter of the nuclear family to “drink bleach.”
In another tweet, Punk castigated the amendment’s supporters as “So many stupid people. Bigots. Talking about what’s ‘natural.’” He also called the NC amendment “ridiculous” and that its supporters are “embarrassing” and should “evolve.”
Ironically, the intolerant and bigoted Punk later posted a message stating, “I am a star. I’m fighting bigots here. Zero tolerance.”
Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH) told LifeSiteNews.com:
“Just chalk it up as the sort of rhetoric we’re used to now from the forces of tolerance. It just never stops. As ‘gay’ power grows, the rhetoric on the other side becomes more and more caustic and contemptuous of anybody who disagrees. If it was a conservative athlete who said to a pro-gay activist ‘kill yourself,’ I think his career would be over. Where are the voices of sanity on the liberal side that come down on these kind of things? I think the message is out on the Left: anything goes – especially if you’re bashing a Christian.”
Pro-marriage, pro-family advocates have have increasingly become the targets of verbal and sometimes physical bullying.
The “It Gets Better” anti-bullying campaign creator Dan Savage belittled students who walked out of his foul-mouthed talk at a high school journalism convention, dubbing them “pansy-a**ed.”
In April, a group of “Angry Queers” smashed church windows in Portland, throwing rocks through stained-glass windows at the Oregon satellite location of Mars Hill Church, because its pastor teaches sex outside of traditional marriage is sinful.
Later Monday evening – after the wrestling federation’s anchor program Monday Night Raw – Punk issued an apology and deleted the offending remarks from his Twitter feed. But he still could not refrain from striking a supercilious pose: “I apologize. I don’t want you to kill yourself. I want you to better yourself.”
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is headed by Vince McMahon. His wife, Linda, resigned as CEO in 2009 to run for the U.S. Senate in Connecticut. She is currently seeking the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate against former Congressman Christopher Shays.

North Carolina approves ban on gay marriage

North Carolina voters approve gay marriage ban

NJ.com: North Carolina voters approved a constitutional amendment on Tuesday defining marriage solely as a union between a man and a woman, making it the 30th state to adopt such a ban.
With 35 percent of precincts reporting today, unofficial returns showed the amendment passing with about 58 percent of the vote to 42 percent against.
In the final days before the vote, members of President Barack Obama’s cabinet expressed support for gay marriage and former President Bill Clinton recorded phone messages urging voters to reject the amendment. Opponents also held marches, ran TV ads and gave speeches, including one by Jay Bakker, son of televangelists Jim Bakker and the late Tammy Faye Bakker.
Meanwhile, supporters had run their own ad campaigns and church leaders urged Sunday congregations to vote for the amendment. The Rev. Billy Graham, who at 93 remains influential even though his last crusade was in 2005, was featured in full-page newspaper ads supporting the amendment.
North Carolina law already bans gay marriage, like nine other states, but an amendment would effectively slam the door shut on same-sex marriages. The amendment also goes beyond state law by voiding other types of domestic unions from carrying legal status, which opponents warn could disrupt protection orders for unmarried couples.
The North Carolina amendment was placed on the ballot after Republicans took over control of the state Legislature after the 2010 elections, a role the GOP hadn’t enjoyed for 140 years.
Joe Easterling, who described himself as a devout Christian, voted for the amendment at a polling place in Wake Forest.  “I know that some people may argue that the Bible may not necessarily be applicable, or it should not be applicable, on such policy matters. But even looking at nature itself, procreation is impossible without a man and a woman. And because of those things, I think it is important that the state of North Carolina’s laws are compatible with the laws of nature but, more importantly, with the laws of God.”
Linda Toanone, who voted against the amendment, said people are born gay and it is not their choice.  “We think everybody should have the same rights as everyone else. If you’re gay, lesbian, straight — whatever,” she said.
North Carolina is the latest presidential swing state to weigh in on gay marriage. Florida, Virginia and Ohio all have constitutional amendments against gay marriage, and Obama’s election-year vagueness on gay marriage has come under fresh scrutiny.
Obama, who supports most gay rights, has stopped short of backing gay marriage. Without clarification, he’s said for the past year and a half that his personal views on the matter are “evolving.”
One fault line that could determine the result is generational. Older voters, who tend to be more reliable voters, are expected to back the amendment.  State House Speaker Thom Tillis, a Republican from a Charlotte suburb, said even if the amendment is passed, it will be reversed as today’s young adults age.
“It’s a generational issue,” Tillis told a student group at North Carolina State University in March about the amendment he supports. “If it passes, I think it will be repealed within 20 years.”
The amendment also goes beyond state law by voiding other types of domestic unions from carrying legal status, which opponents warn could disrupt protection orders for unmarried couples.  “Also, that amendment is against women, I believe, because also underneath the amendment, other laws are saying that people who aren’t married at all, they can’t file for domestic abuse cases, if they’re living with their significant other. Which is wrong,” Toanone said.
Once again, when the issue is put to voters, they define marriage as a union between a man an a woman.  Wonder how long before GLAAD starts the process to override the will of the voters.

Brad Pitt changes his tune…

Remember when Brad Pitt got all sanctimonious and said the following,
I’ve said that we would not be getting married until everyone in this county had the right to get married. We live in this great country that is about freedom. It is defined by our freedom and equality and yet we allow this discrimination to go on everyday and that’s not what we’re about — that’s not what makes us great. Until that is reversed, I just don’t get it.
Ellen Degeneres, who is a lesbian, asked, “So that means if like, next week if it’s legal for everyone to get married that you would then be getting married the very next day?”
“It seems,” Pitt said, before he crumbled, confessing that “The kids are putting on the heat. They really are. They are putting on the heat.”
“You’ll still hold out?” Degeneres said.  “Somebody help me,” Pitt panicked. “I don’t know what the future holds!”
Brad and Angelina have become engaged and received the blessing from Equality California, a gay rights group in California.
Rebekah Orr, Communications Director for Equality California, says the group is totally behind the Brangelina marriage, even if the right to vote is still not enjoyed by everyone. (I don’t know what this means, since everyone – including many illegals – have the right to vote in America.  Must be typo on the TMZ website.)
She tells us, “Marriage is something that says ‘we’re a family’ in a way that nothing else can … No one has to deny that for themselves or their family to prove they are an ally and supporter of equality.”
Never mind the fact that everyone in this country does have the right to marry, I’m happy to see that Brad Pitt is going to do the right thing and marry the mother of his children.  Let’s just hope that this Hollyweird marriage can survive, for the sake of their children.

Girl, 14, gets death threats for defending marriage

“The attacks on freedom of thought start with language. Those who do not resign themselves to accept ‘homophilia’ are charged with ‘homophobia’.”Cardinal Giacomo Biffi

Liberals are such tolerant people! If you don’t agree with them, they’ll tolerant you to death!
Ben Johnson reports for LifeSiteNews, Feb. 22, 2012, that a 14-year-old homeschooled girl testifed before the Maryland state senate against a bill redefining marriage and for that, she’s received cyberbullying, vicious name-calling, and death threats.
Testifying before the Maryland Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee last month, Sarah Crank, 14, said:
“I really feel bad for the kids who have two parents of the same gender. Even though some kids think it’s fine, they have no idea what kind of wonderful experiences they miss out on. People say that they were born that way, but I’ve met really nice adults who did change. Today’s my 14th birthday, and it would be the best birthday present ever if you would vote ‘no’ on gay marriage.”
After audio of her uncharacteristically mature testimony was posted on YouTube, the story went viral on homosexual activist websites—and death threats quickly followed.
TFP Student Action, a Roman Catholic organization dedicated to traditional morality, recorded several of the most offensive threats in a press release. A commenter on the YouTube video wrote, “If I ever see this girl, I will kill her. That’s a promise.”
Other YouTube comments ranged from, “Her parents should be exterminated,” to, “Kill this child and his [sic] parent, for my 11 birthday would be a wonderful gift, thanks.”
A comment posted on LGBTNation.com said, ““And now everyone knows her name, so hopefully she will feel what its like to be harassed and bullied…”
Since TFP issued its press release, the comments have not moderated. Supporters of same-sex “marriage” continue to wish violence, sexual assault, or censorship upon the girl. (Warning, profanity):

  • “I hope you get raped by your married parents.”—madisonen
  • “Stupid bi**h – I hope you die on your Bday!!!!!”—geminiboi007
  • “A dumb way for a dumb bi**h to do dumb things. Stop talking nonsense that your Christian, Anti-Gay parents are force-feeding you through a thin straw, and learn to accept other people. Now shut up bi**h, before I smack you.”—123adbnvcs

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=o-Tsr7rz9Og]
The full text of Sarah’s testimony:
“Hi, I’m Sarah Crank. Today’s my 14th birthday, and it would be the best birthday present ever if you would vote “no” on gay marriage. I really feel bad for the kids who have two parents of the same gender. Even though some kids think it’s fine, they have no idea what kind of wonderful experiences they miss out on. I don’t want more kids to get confused about what’s right and okay. I really don’t want to grow up in a world where marriage isn’t such a special thing anymore.
It’s rather scary to think that when I grow up the legislature or the court can change the definition of any word they want. If they could change the definition of marriage then they could change the definition of any word. People have the choice to be gay, but I don’t want to be affected by their choice. People say that they were born that way, but I’ve met really nice adults who did change.  So please vote “no” on gay marriage. Thank you.”
Sarah should know that it is a federal crime, punishable by up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000, to transmit any communication containing a threat to injure the person of another, via the Internet and e-mail (as well as the telephone, beepers, and other means of communication). I urge Sarah’s parents to report these death threats to the police and the FBI.

Be brave, Sarah! We are praying for you.
