Tucker Carlson interviews Deirdre Griswold, a DPRK sympathizer

I watched this last night and was just amazed at this woman that Tucker interviewed.

Her name is Deirdre Griswold and here’s what Wikipedia says about her:

“Deirdre Griswold is a former candidate for President of the United States. Griswold ran in the 1980 as the nominee of the communist Workers World Party. Her running mate was Gavrielle Holmes.

She is the daughter of Vincent Copeland (deceased in 1993, at 77), one of the founders of the party. Her mother, Elizabeth Ross Copeland, and paternal aunt, Cynthia Cochran, were also communists.”

You’ve got to see what she had to say about North Korea. Her segment starts at the 2:34 mark.

I knew that there were blind and fanatical die-hard progressives/commies. I have just never heard one such as this. Scary!

Hollyweird hypocrites: Self-proclaimed feminist stars keep attacking Sarah Sanders for her looks

chelsea handler tweet

From Fox News: Hollywood women have banded together like never before on issues including pay inequality and sexual harassment, declaring that women all over the world need to stick together and be supportive of one another. But experts say several stars aren’t practicing what they preach when it comes to Donald Trump’s press secretary, Sarah Sanders.

Self-proclaimed activist Chelsea Handler wrote in an op-ed for Thrive in Dec. 2016: “Let’s stop it with the dialogue about how women look or what they wear, or if they’ve gained or lost weight. We are more guilty of this with each other than most men are.”

Cher has often spoken out about the sexualization of womendeclaring at the Women’s March on Jan. 20 that she “believe[s] in this movement.”

But both stars recently attacked Sanders solely over her looks.

Cher tweeted to Sanders on Tuesday to “stop dressing like a sister wife.” After fans slammed Cher for the hurtful tweet, she followed up by admitting it was “kinda mean” but “so funny.”

Handler has gone even further than Cher by mocking Sanders’ “summer whore lipstick” and calling her a “harlot” on her Netflix show. Comedian Fortune Feimster even wore exaggerated makeup to play Sanders for a skit on Handler’s now-defunct series.

And “Saturday Night Live” took a similar swipe at the press secretary’s outfits by putting the show’s Sanders character in a revealing outfit to dance provocatively to a pop song in a November 2017 episode.

The show has also dressed the Sanders character, played by Aidy Bryant, in a bright pink dress to mock the press secretary’s frequent color choice.

Penny Nance, President and CEO of Concerned Women for America, told Fox News Cher’s recent insults proves Hollywood feminists don’t play by their own rules when it comes to conservative women.

“Cher’s attack on Sarah is yet another example of how liberal women in all types of powerful positions stand up for only those women who adhere to their ideology,” Nance told Fox News. “If you’re a conservative woman, prepare to be thrown out of the feminist tent. Their message is that some women will be supported. That some women will be empowered. That some women will [be] trusted. But they don’t support all women and especially those of us who support life.”

Dan Gainor, vice president of business and culture at the Media Research Center, echoed Nance’s comments adding that the recent attacks on Sanders’ looks are “especially offensive.”

They don’t just attack her for being conservative. They dare to treat her as if she’s not a woman. They blast her clothes and say she dresses like a ‘sister wife,'” Gainor said. “…Chelsea Handler called her a ‘harlot’ with ‘summer whore lipstick.’ And these are women doing this. Imagine the media outrage if conservatives dared to treat a liberal woman with such disgust.”

He added, “Liberals hate anyone who doesn’t side with them.”

Branding and public relations expert Scott Pinsker told Fox News these stars are hurting their brands by attacking Trump’s press secretary.

“An awful lot of women in America look more like Sarah Sanders than the Hollywood starlets who are bashing Trump and his supporters on all the award shows,” Pinsker explained. “If you want to disagree with Ms. Sanders’ political positions, that’s perfectly legitimate, but mocking her for being normal-looking isn’t exactly empowering to women.”

SCOTTeVEST founder says company markets to Fox viewers because they’re “f***ing idiots”

scott jordan

From Washington Times: SCOTTeVEST founder Scott Jordan was rebuked by his own clothing company after he posted on Facebook last weekend that Fox News viewers are “f–ing idiots.”

Mr. Jordan co-founded SCOTTeVEST with his wife in 2000, selling a line of multi-pocketed “eVests” designed for consumers to carry multiple gadgets. He failed to clinch a deal on ABC’s Shark Tank with his “Technology Enabled Clothing” (TEC) patent in 2012, The Blaze reported.

Mr. Jordan, who stepped down from the company’s management last year but still holds the title of chief executive officer, was disavowed by the company on Wednesday after he publicly described an encounter with someone who recognized him from his SCOTTeVEST television commercials.

“I love meeting new people that recognize me and my company from all of our television commercials,” he wrote Jan. 14 in the now-deleted post, according to a screenshot captured by a “Shark Tank” fan blog. “I am on the ski lift and the following exchange just happened and happens often: I ask, ‘What network they saw me?’ Invariably people say Fox News.

“I laugh to myself, and tell them that we primarily advertise on Fox because we find their viewership to be extremely gullible and much easier to sell than other networks,” he wrote. “The look on their face at that time is priceless. I am not kidding you. I get to tell them they are [f–ing] idiots while getting rich off them.”

SCOTTeVEST posted a statement on its website calling Mr. Jordan’s comments “offensive and inexcusable.”

We are extremely sorry for his unacceptable comments,” the company said. “Mr. Jordan’s post was impulsive and inappropriate for too many reasons to list, and rightfully offended so many people. We strongly disagree with the views expressed by Mr. Jordan.”

Company spokesman Luke Lappala told The Blaze in an email that Mr. Jordan had since deactivated his Facebook and Twitter accounts. “We are sickened by his remarks,” Mr. Lappala said.

Mr. Jordan apologized in a Medium post Friday, calling his words “incredibly rude and inaccurate.”

“To those that I called gullible and idiotic, I am truly sorry,” he wrote. “As the founder of SCOTTeVEST, Inc., I have spent more than 17 years with the help of an amazing team building an awesome company with world class products and customer service. My idiotic statement not only jeopardized all of that hard work, but it also compromised the faith that SCOTTeVEST customers and our team of 20+ employees and contractors entrusted in me.

“I also want to apologize to the SCOTTeVEST customer service team, who are taking the brunt of the backlash for my actions,” he added. “SCOTTeVEST employees are good people that do not deserve to be punished for my actions. I will continue to learn from my mistakes and strive to become a better person.

Mr. Lappala explained to The Blaze that Mr. Jordan stepped down from his management responsibilities last year due to “personal reasons” but remains as “CEO in name only.”

Mr. Jordan retains his CEO and Co-Founder titles, but he is not involved in our daily operations,” Mr. Lappala said.

Blackout: Major progressive web sites omit report that Starbucks is giving raises as result of GOP tax cut

media TDS

Yesterday at 5:09 am Reuters reported that Starbucks was going to give raises to employees. From the story:

Starbucks Corp (SBUX.O) will use some of the savings from the new U.S. corporate tax cuts to give domestic employees pay raises, company stock and expanded benefits with a combined worth of more than $250 million, the company said on Wednesday.

With the announcement, the world’s biggest coffee chain joins companies like Walmart (WMT.N), Apple Inc APPL.O, Comcast Corp (CMCSA.O) and American Airlines Group Inc (AAL.O) in sharing their tax savings with employees.

Starbucks is known for giving its workers, which it calls “partners,” more generous pay and benefits than other mass-market restaurants and retailers.

“Investing in our partners has long been our strategy, and due to the recent changes in U.S. tax law, we are able to accelerate some significant partner investments,” Chief Executive Kevin Johnson said in a letter to employees.”

Read the rest of the story here.

Over 11 hours later, at 1:45 pm (Central Time), I went to several proggie web sites to search how they reported this great news. I searched the following sites to see if they had “Starbucks” or any story on their home page about this announcement:

At the time of my search, I didn’t find ANY article on this good news on the above web sites. Gee, I wonder why?

CBS news had the story, at the bottom of their home page under the “Money Watch” category. Fox News DID have the story, about a quarter of the way down on their home page.

Wonder if these progressive “news” web sites will get around to reporting this great news as a result of the GOP tax cut plan, which NOT ONE demorat voted for.

No wonder we call them #FakeNews.

PS: I checked all the web sites bulleted above at 9:30 pm last night and STILL NOTHING about the Starbucks announcement. Shocker, not.

Desperate for dirt on Trump: Media running with story how Trump tried to kiss a woman after a lunch date

fake-is-the-new-real

Oh the horror!

From HuffPo: A former Fox News anchorwoman who accused Bill O’Reilly of sexually harassing her in 2011 is now claiming that Donald Trump kissed her on the lips in an elevator.

Juliet Huddy said Thursday morning on the “Mornin!!! With Bill Schulz” podcast (which has a paywall) that it happened around 2005 or 2006 when Trump was hosting “The Apprentice” on NBC.

“He took me to lunch in Trump Tower,” she said. “He said goodbye to me in an elevator while his security guy was there. He went to say goodbye and he, rather than kiss me on the cheek, he leaned in on the lips.

Huddy, whom Trump knew because she co-hosted “Fox & Friends” on the weekends, said she assumed Trump’s lip kiss was just confusion: “Oh, we went the wrong way,” she said.

She also said she wasn’t offended. “I thought, ‘This is interesting.’”

Huddy said she was surprised he went for her lips but “didn’t feel threatened.” In fact, she brought a friend back to Trump Tower so that the future president could give them a tour of “The Apprentice” set.

Huddy believes Trump was single at the time, and, after checking the math, host Bill Schulz said it was possible he wasn’t engaged to Melania Trump at the time of the kiss.

She says Trump referenced the kiss when he was Huddy’s guest on her syndicated series, “The Morning Show With Mike and Juliet.”

“He came up on stage and he turned around to the audience ― and, you know, there were 50 people there ― and he said, ‘I tried to hit on her, but she blew me off,’” Huddy remembered.

Huddy emphasized that at the time she wasn’t offended that he kissed her but that she has a different perspective now. “Now that I’ve matured, I would’ve said, ‘Nope.’ At that time, I was making excuses.”

HuffPost reached out to the White House for comment, but it did not immediately respond. Huddy commented further on Twitter on Friday evening after the New York Post picked up the story.  (HuffPo didn’t elaborate on Huddy’s further Twitter comments, of course.)

It’s a big nothing-burger. Here’s Huddy’s pinned tweet:

Re: @PageSix story: Yes, it’s true. And though I’m offended by his comments on ‘other matters’ – as I said on @77WABCradio & @BillSchulz‘s show yesterday – I was neither threatened nor offended in elevator. End of story. Now, plz let me get back to @TheCrownNetflix.

But the media is running with this story as if it’s some proof of sexual harassment. #FakeNews.

Kathy Griffin sorry after her beheaded Donald Trump photo grabs Secret Service’s attention

kathy griffin

Kathy Griffin “mocking” President Trump

Apologies for displaying this picture. Yet the wickedness, absolute hatred and intolerance of the left must be exposed.

Trump Derangement Syndrome makes proggies do REALLY STUPID things. Has this womyn never heard of Daniel Pearl? Makes me sick to my stomach.

It’s going to be a loooooong four years for ‘em.

UPDATE: Griffin issued an apology (along with a video) on her Twitter account (and she deleted all her tweets relating to the beheading picture): “I am sorry. I went too far. I was wrong.”
Silly womyn. Internet and screen captures are forever.

From GMA: Comedian Kathy Griffin is defending a photo of herself holding what appears to be a bloody, decapitated fake head of President Trump, despite sweeping bi-partisan disapproval of the image.

The photo, taken by celebrity photographer Tyler Shields, was posted by Griffin and Shields Tuesday to their social media accounts. “I caption this ‘there was blood coming out of his eyes, blood coming out of his … wherever,'” Griffin tweeted, referring to an exchange between Donald Trump and former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly during the primary season.

But in an attempt to appease those who were offended by the image, the controversial comedienne then tweeted, “OBVIOUSLY, I do not condone ANY violence by my fans or others to anyone, ever! I’m merely mocking the Mocker in Chief.”

But it appears that the image has caught the attention of the U.S. Secret Service. Although the federal law enforcement agency does not directly cite the image in any of its tweets, in response to Twitter users tweeting the image at its account, the Secret Service tweeted Tuesday afternoon, “On it! @SecretService has a robust protective intelligence division that monitors open source reporting & social media to evaluate threats.”

And an hour later, the agency tweeted, “Threats made against @SecretService protectees receive the highest priority of all of our investigations. #ProtectionNeverRests.”

The image did not sit well with the president’s son, Donald Trump, Jr., who tweeted, “Disgusting but not surprising. This is the left today. They consider this acceptable. Imagine a conservative did this to Obama as POTUS?”

Condemnation of the image was widespread. Former Republican presidential candidate and former governor of Massachusetts Mitt Romney, tweeted, “Our politics have become too base, too low, & too vulgar, but Kathy Griffin’s post descends into an even more repugnant & vile territory.”

Paul Babeu, a Republican and former sheriff of Pinal County, Arizona, tweeted, “Inciting violence/murder of @POTUS is a crime. Imagine liberal outrage if conservative held up bloodied decapitated head of Obama?”

Former Republican congressman Trey Radel drew a comparison between the image and ISIS beheadings. “Journalists & soldiers, this is also disgusting display 4 moms, dads, families who have lost loved ones to #ISIS in the most horrific way,” tweeted Radel, author of “Democrazy: A True Story of Weird Politics, Money, Madness, and Finger Food.”

But some Democrats were also disgusted by the image. “This is vile and wrong,” tweeted Chelsea Clinton. “It is never funny to joke about killing a president.”

Actress Debra Messing tweeted, “It wasn’t right when peoplel hung lynched Obama effigies, just as what Kathy Griffin did isn’t right now.”

ABC News has reached out to Shields for comment.

Trump Stock Rally Leaving Big Media-Entertainment Behind

The most-biased, left-leaning companies are not thriving? Gee, I wonder why…

trump-and-us-media

From Hollywood Reporter: The Donald Trump election rally that’s sent the Dow Jones Industrial average hurtling toward an all-time high of 20,000 has left behind one key industry: big media conglomerates.

The president-elect has spent the election railing against television news giants like CNN and even right-leaning Fox News Channel. And Wall Street appears to be listening now that the real-estate mogul is heading to the White House. Of the 50 entertainment/media stocks tracked by The Hollywood Reporter, 36 of them lag the 9 percent gain made by the blue-chip index ahead of Friday’s potential record-breaking open.

While it’s tough to say there’s an exact correlation between Trump’s criticism of media and falling stock prices, experts say there are some legitimate concerns for the sector — as well as some lucrative opportunities — under a Trump presidency.

“Media and technology have underperformed because Trump wasn’t exactly favorable to leaders of those industries, so perhaps his policies will reflect that,” said Michael Kramer, founder and portfolio manager of Mott Capital Management. “He has been very critical of media. Obviously, the bad-mouthing hurts.”

trump-and-crooked-media

On the flipside, Steven Birenberg of Northlake Capital Management predicts that a lucrative business environment under Trump will help a variety of industries and it’s only a matter of time before media-entertainment catches up. The FCC, Justice Department and IRS could all adopt a more business-friendly, merger-friendly posture, which would keep stocks humming under Trump, he says.

Among Birenberg’s favorite stocks, all of which he owns shares of, are Comcast and Charter Communications, two of the major players in cable television.

“Cable is a big winner under Trump as net neutrality could go away. At least the odds of the FCC enforcing any price caps on broadband will go away,” says Birenberg, who did not support Trump. “I despise the man … but when it comes to managing my clients’ money, my fiduciary responsibility is to do what is best for them, so if Trump helps out media and entertainment stocks, I’ve got to take advantage.”

He also likes video game publishers Electronic Arts and Activision Blizzard due to the transition to digital downloads and in-game purchases, as well as Live Nation Entertainment, the giant concert promoter that also operates Ticketmaster. “The concert industry is booming globally,” he says.

Trump has been beating the drum against what he considers unfair trade deals with China, and among the biggest losers since the election is Alibaba. The massive Chinese new-media company that is co-producing films with Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Partners is off 7 percent since the election.

Another laggard since Nov. 8 is Facebook, down 3 percent. The social networking giant has been under fire from the left for promoting “fake news” and from the right for allegedly pushing negative stories about conservatives and positive ones about liberals.

Also lagging are some theater operators, most notably Regal Entertainment Group, down 7 percent, and Cinemark Holdings, off 3 percent. Movie theaters, though, are expected to get a boost from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which could open this weekend to as much as $350 million globally.

Kramer says the Trump rally has mostly benefited bank, energy and infrastructure stocks, and he suspects it won’t last. “It’s all about tax reform, deregulation and infrastructure and deficit spending under Trump, and those are all pro-growth policies,” he said. “The market is forward-thinking, but it doesn’t know what the actual policies will be, so the rally may fizzle.”

Beyond a Trump effect (perceived or real), there are plenty of issues plaguing individual companies. Disney, for example, will score big with Rogue One, but it lost 2 million ESPN subscribers in the fiscal year ending Oct. 1. As for Viacom, it remains to be seen what new CEO Bob Bakish can do to turn around the Paramount film studio as well as cable channel MTV. And 21st Century Fox was hit by a downgrade Monday by Telsey Advisory Group, which predicts the Rupert Murdoch-controlled company will have to fight European regulators over its planned $14.1 billion acquisition of the 61 percent of British satellite TV service Sky that it doesn’t already own.
