It’s come to this: ICE issues warning to Montgomery County residents about criminal illegal aliens who may be released into the public

Since this past July, Montgomery County (MD) has released numerous sex child offenders who have recommitted crimes against children. These have been illegal aliens who were given a free pass by the sanctuary county. Read my previous posts about these dangerous offenders here.

Now ICE has issued a warning for residents of Montgomery and Pierce George Counties that their children (and women) may be in danger in the near future because of these counties refusal to cooperate with federal authorities. ICE has issued detainers for violent offenders that will most likely be ignored by the local illegal-alien-loving bureaucrats.

And even though Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich said he would reverse some anti-ICE cooperation policies, it’s been all smoke and mirrors.

Liar: County Executive Marc Elrich

ICE issued the following press release on Nov. 22:

ICE announces Montgomery County, Prince George’s County criminal offenders shielded by current non-cooperation policies

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has repeatedly asked local jurisdictions to reconsider non-cooperation policies because those policies put politics before public safety. On Friday, ICE released more examples of foreign nationals with active ICE detainers who have been detained for serious criminal offenses in Maryland’s Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties. These individuals have not yet been released to the community to potentially reoffend, and ICE asks that they are transferred to its custody prior to that happening.

ICE maintains that cooperation with local law enforcement is essential to protecting public safety, and the agency aims to work cooperatively with local jurisdictions to ensure that criminal aliens are not released into U.S. communities to commit additional crimes.

“The county leadership has chosen misguided politics over public safety,” said Francisco Madrigal, acting Baltimore field office director. “The individuals we have lodged detainers against have been arrested in the community and will likely be released directly back into that community under these dangerous policies. We aren’t asking Montgomery County or Prince George’s County to conduct immigration enforcement, we’re asking them to honor a lawful request to transfer these individuals into our custody where they can avail themselves of due process in the immigration court system.”

Tell me again which party is actively engaging in a #waronwomen (and children)?

Read the whole press release here. And if you live in one of these sanctuary counties, you most definitely want to read it and see pictures of the offenders who most likely will be released into your community.

Finally: Montgomery County, MD reverses some anti-ICE policies after women sexually attacked by illegal aliens

County Executive Marc Elrich

Well, it only took nine arrests of illegal aliens for the County Executive, Marc Elrich, to finally decide he needs to protect the women living in his community.

Sorry Marc but it’s too little, too late for the past sexual assault victims. I hope they sue the county.

From Fox News: A controversial sanctuary policy barring Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from accessing Montgomery County jails in Maryland has been partially rolled back following the arrests of several illegal aliens all charged with rape or sexual abuse in a new bid that will force cooperation between county law enforcement and federal immigration authorities.

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich reversed portions of “the Promoting Community Trust Executive Order,” which he just signed in July, and will now allow ICE agents access to certain areas of the county jail in order to apprehend illegal aliens, according to reports by ABC7 News.

A county spokesperson confirmed to the local news outlet on Nov. 1 that correctional officers have been ordered to give ICE agents clearance to “identified areas” of the jail to “ensure that transfers are conducted in a safe environment.”

The move walks back an executive order which barred county police from asking individuals about their immigration status and largely prohibited local law enforcement from cooperating with ICE agents, as Elrich reasserted the blue region’s stance as a sanctuary city that strongly opposes the Trump administration’s hardline policies against illegal immigrants. The policy also banned ICE agents from entering any non-public county facilities.

Only a month after Elrich signed the order, at least nine illegal immigrants were charged with rape and sexual assault between August and September, causing the county executive’s office to reevaluate the policy and concede that it had received “numerous phone calls, as well as emails” in light of the arrests.
