More fake hurricane-weather news

This morning, FOTM‘s DCG posted a video showing how the Weather Channel broadcasts fake news about Hurricane Florence by exaggerating how strong the wind is.

A reporter pretended to be unsteady on his feet, buffeted by the supposed strong wind. Alas, the video camera showed that right behind the reporter were two people casually strolling by.

I had a GIF made of the video in case YouTube takes it down:

But it’s not just the Weather Channel that is engaged in fake weather news.

CNN, too, faked its Hurricane Florence reporting, as shown in the pics below (source: Mark Dice).

The first pic is from CNN’s live footage of Anderson Cooper standing in the supposed deep flood waters up to his waist.

Notice, however, the camera man standing in shallow water just a few feet away.

Here’s a pic of the same flood waters taken from a different camera angle showing the same camera man and another CNN employee standing in shallow water.

Note: Snopes says the pics are actually of Anderson Cooper reporting on Hurricane Ike in 2008. If true, it just goes to show Cooper and CNN have been engaged in fake weather reporting for at least 10 years.

But it wasn’t just Anderson Cooper faking weather news.

CNN’s senior diplomatic correspondent Michelle Kosinski also engaged in fake weather news.

Here she is, paddling in a canoe, in seemingly deep flood waters.

Alas, her lie is revealed when two men casually slosh by, showing that the “deep flood” is only ankle deep.

If the MSM fake weather news, what else are they faking?

Fake news CNN unlawfully threatens maker of Trump wrestling GIF; Alt-Media vows revenge

On Sunday morning, July 2, 2017, President Trump tweeted a photoshopped GIF of him downing a wrestler whose face bore the CNN logo.

That’s CNN — the peddler of fake news, whose producer recently admitted on Project Veritas’ hidden camera that the network’s Trump-Russia story is ‘bullshit’ fake news, and contemptuously describes American voters as “Stupid as shit”.
Thin-skinned CNN went on the war path to track down the source of the Trump wrestler GIF to a Reddit poster, rumored to be a 15-year-old teen, who calls himself HanAssholeSolo (HAS). The network’s investigative KFile team then uncovered HAS’s real identity by using identifying information of key biographical details HAS had posted on Reddit and a Facebook search.
On July 4, two days after Trump’s tweet, CNN published an article written by Andrew Kaczynski, the head of CNN’s KFile team — “How CNN found the Reddit user behind the Trump wrestling GIF“.  In the article, Kaczynski describes how his KFile team uncovered HAS’s real identity and contacted HAS, after which HAS publicly apologized for the GIF and confirmed his identity.
Kaczynski writes:

“In the interview [with CNN], ‘HanA**holeSolo’ sounded nervous about his identity being revealed and asked to not be named out of fear for his personal safety and for the public embarrassment it would bring to him and his family.”

Despite the fact that HAS apologized to CNN for the GIF — which HAS is under no obligation to do, as he was simply exercising his Constitutional First Amendment right of free speech when he made the GIF — CNN (via Kacsynski) still threatens to dox (publicly reveal the identity) HAS if he does not behave properly in the future:

“CNN is not publishing ‘HanA**holeSolo’s’ name because he is a private citizen who has issued an extensive statement of apology, showed his remorse by saying he has taken down all his offending posts, and because he said he is not going to repeat this ugly behavior on social media again. In addition, he said his statement could serve as an example to others not to do the same.
CNN reserves the right to publish his identity should any of that change.

Kacsynski also claims that HansAssholeSolo is not 15 but a middle-aged man — which may or may not be true, as there is no way for us to verify the claim, unless HAS actually comes forth and reveals his age and identity.
Kacsynski’s threat was followed by an official statement from CNN:

As WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange points out, CNN and Kacsynski’s standing threat to dox HansAssholeSolo if he ever so much as make fun of CNN again is illegal. According to New York Penal Law §135.60, CNN’s threat is coercion in the second degree and a class A misdemeanor. PEN §135.60 states:

A person is guilty of coercion in the second degree when he or she compels or induces a person to engage in conduct which the latter has a legal right to abstain from engaging in, or to abstain from engaging in conduct in which he or she has a legal right to engage, or compels or induces a person to join a group, organization or criminal enterprise which such latter person has a right to abstain from joining, by means of instilling in him or her a fear that, if the demand is not complied with, the actor or another will:

1. Cause physical injury to a person;  or

2. Cause damage to property;  or

3. Engage in other conduct constituting a crime;  or

4. Accuse some person of a crime or cause criminal charges to be instituted against him or her;  or

5. Expose a secret or publicize an asserted fact, whether true or false, tending to subject some person to hatred, contempt or ridicule;  or

6. Cause a strike, boycott or other collective labor group action injurious to some person’s business;  except that such a threat shall not be deemed coercive when the act or omission compelled is for the benefit of the group in whose interest the actor purports to act;  or

7. Testify or provide information or withhold testimony or information with respect to another’s legal claim or defense;  or

8. Use or abuse his or her position as a public servant by performing some act within or related to his or her official duties, or by failing or refusing to perform an official duty, in such manner as to affect some person adversely;  or

9. Perform any other act which would not in itself materially benefit the actor but which is calculated to harm another person materially with respect to his or her health, safety, business, calling, career, financial condition, reputation or personal relationships.

The backlash against CNN-Kacsynski’s threat is swift and furious:

(1) On July 4, 2017, the chat forum 4chan‘s very resourceful /pol/ politically incorrect section declared war on CNN, vowing to utterly destroy the network. Here’s their “Declaration of War on CNN“:

“Sirs and madams,
Herein contained in this post is /pol/’s formal declaration of war against CNN. Your news agency has for years produced propaganda designed to brainwash the public at large into your sick worldview, and has non-stop endlessly harassed the good men and women of our website and in the right-wing at large. Your latest threat to dox an individual for creating a harmless meme is just another example of your malignant nature and the urgent need to shut your organization down for good.
That is why the ascendant nation of /pol/ has unanimously agreed that all of our resources will be put to the goal of ending your reign of terror. Do not take this lightly. We have the best cyber hackers in the world. We have access to memes that will forever damage the psyche of your company and its employees. We could bring you to heel with zero casualties if we so wanted. As such, we are offering you a chance to surrender now by our terms.
-Total surrender/ dismantlement of CNN and its sister companies and investigative organs
-Criminal prosecution by an impartial tribunal to accordingly sentence everyone involved in CNN and its crimes
-Immediate retraction of all hit pieces and false stories against the President of the United States along with an apology
-Cede all of CNN’s current economic and fiduciary assets to a private fund organized by representatives of /pol/ to be used for the development of new, alternative media organizations which will replace CNN
-Well-written apology to the person CNN threatened to dox
You have one week from the time of this posting. Our people will make certain that you see this message. Remember, we are anonymous. We do not forgive and we do not forget.
We’re waiting.”

And as promised, 4chan and other netcitizens delivered and will continue to exact retribution against CNN.
(2) On July 4, a 4chan poster discovered that Andrew Kaczynski follows the Church of Satan on Twitter. Is Kaczynski, like John Podesta, also a spirit-cooker?

(3) On July 5, netcitizens gave Andrew Kaczynski a taste of his own “dox” medicine by posting Kaczynski’s personal info. to pastebin and here.
(4) Someone did the research and discovered CNN is an All Jew Network, which defies the law of probability (click image below to enlarge):

(5) Reporting for the liberal Daily Caller on July 5, 2017, Betsy Rothstein claims that CNN staff have had their home addresses published and received anti-Semitic threats and accusations:

“Several anchors and reporters at CNN have had their home addresses published and have received threats of rape and other violence in the wake of a story published by Andrew Kaczynski . . . . Anti-network trolls are encouraging viewers to wrongly accuse CNN staffers of pedophilia and child pornography. There is also ‘tons of anti-Semitism.’”

Indeed, a 4chan netcitizen posted this list of home addresses of six CNN hosts and correspondents.
(6) Meme-makers got busy and created even more Trump vs. CNN pictures and GIFs. If the network had a hissy fit over the Trump wrestling GIF, this compilation is sure to give CNN honchos a stroke:

In this war, my bets are on 4chan.
Bring out the popcorn!

UPDATE:

CNN’s ratings are plummeting. From Daily Caller, July 6, 2017:

CNN has fallen to #13 in cable TV rankings, according to weekly numbers posted on Thursday by TV Newser.
The ratings slide comes as the network has come under heavy scrutiny for a variety of journalistic missteps, including the retraction of an article alleging that a Trump associate had illicit Russian business ties.
Fox News and MSNBC are listed as first and second, respectively, in the cable rankings, which measured average audience sizes for the period between June 26 and July 2. Fox News drew an audience of around 1.82 million while MSNBC drew an audience of 1.34 million. CNN had only 711,000 viewers on an average day during the measurement period.

To give some perspective to CNN’s average daily rating of 711,000 viewers:
Fellowship of the Minds, this humble little-known blog with a handful of unpaid volunteer writers, had its best day on August 21, 2014, when we got a phenomenal 355,340 unique views. That’s half of the 711,000 average daily rating of international cable TV and corporate giant CNN, whose anchors are paid $millions.

CNN producer admits Trump-Russia story is 'bullshit' fake news

Despite the fact that the FBI is not and has never investigated Donald Trump, last night in a unanimous resolution, the Oakland City Council joined other California cities in calling on Congress to investigate and impeach President Trump.

Grandstanding for the TV camera, Councilmember Dan Kalb, a co-sponsor of the resolution, specifically highlighted among the impeachable offenses Trump’s “releasing confidential information to Russia”.
Earth to low-info Dan Kalb:

“The Trump-Russia story is fake news, which a CNN producer admitted on camera is ‘bullshit’.”

On June 26, 2017, a day before Dan Kalb’s grandstanding, James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released an undercover video of CNN Supervising Producer John Bonifield admitting on hidden camera that there is no proof to CNN’s Russia narrative.

Calling the Russia narrative “mostly bullshit” and that “we don’t have any giant proof,” Bonifield admits “I haven’t seen any good enough evidence to show that the President committed a crime.” He continues:

“I just feel like they don’t really have it but they want to keep digging. And so I think the President is probably right to say, like, look you are witch hunting me. You have no smoking gun, you have no real proof.”

Bonifield also states that the instructions to “bullshit” the Russia-Trump fake news came straight from the top — CNN’s CEO Jeff Zucker:

“Just to give you some context, President Trump pulled out of the climate accords and for a day and a half we covered the climate accords. And the CEO of CNN (Jeff Zucker) said in our internal meeting, he said good job everybody covering the climate accords, but we’re done with that, let’s get back to Russia.

Bonifeld also admits the driving factor at CNN is ratings and business is booming because “Trump is good for business right now,” and that talk of journalistic ethics is just “adorable” propaganda fluff:

“It’s a business, people are like the media has an ethical phssssss… All the nice cutesy little ethics that used to get talked about in journalism school you’re just like, that’s adorable. That’s adorable. This is a business.”

In fact, at last week’s Cannes Lions festival in France, lying Jeff Zucker crowed that viewers trust CNN “more than ever”.

Project Veritas’ founder James O’Keefe, 32, points out what should be obvious, but evidently is not to liberal so-called journalists:

“To report not on facts, but instead on narratives that yield high ratings, is exactly the definition of fake news. We said we are going after the media, and there is a lot more to come.”

Fake News: CNN Becky Anderson stages fake Muslim 'peace protest' in London

Mon, 05 Jun 2017 15:00:43 +0000

eowyn2

Journalists are supposed to report, not make up, news.

Yesterday morning (June 4, 2017), UK independent journalist Mark @markantro tweeted a video he took of CNN staging a phony demonstration of a Muslim peace group in London. He writes:

CNN creating the narrative

Note the white police officers leaving before the CNN shot & the Asian officers coming in. They then left after they went off air!

The video shows CNN journalist Becky Anderson staging the street theater. See her giving directions to police (or crisis actors) in yellow jackets, and a group of Muslims (a child, men, and women in head scarves), as each lays down flowers to terrorist victims and holds up professionally-printed #TurnToLove #ForLondon signs.

Here’s a GIF of Anderson giving directions, in case YouTube takes down the video:

Anderson then proceeded to report the fake protest she’d just staged as real news. Here’s her tweet:

CNN Anderson’s fake news is being disseminated as real news by other media.

BBC reported it as real news. Scotsman Donald @DonOftheDead tweets:

AP journalist Raphael Satter also reported CNN Anderson’s fakery as real news by posting to his Twitter account a picture of the staged photo-op.

CNN is a habitual purveyor of fake news. See:

CNN Fake News: U.S. intelligence memo says Russia has 'compromising' information on Trump

Wed, 11 Jan 2017 04:11:38 +0000

eowyn2

This is breaking news, for which there’s no verification other than what CNN claims to be true. Bear in mind that CNN is totally biased in favor of Hillary Clinton. See:

If this is true, the implications are very serious. It will give the Democrats the weapon for which they’ve been desperately searching to scuttle Trump’s presidency before he’s even inaugurated. What will happen after that is anyone’s guess because the resulting Constitutional crisis will be something America has never encountered.

Here’s the story.

This afternoon, a CNN report by Evan Perez, Jim Sciutto, Jake Tapper and Carl Bernstein alleges that last week when Trump met with U.S. intelligence chiefs* for a briefing on Russia’s hacking and intervention in the November 8 presidential election, among the classified documents presented to Trump was a hitherto-undisclosed 2-page memo that the Russian government has compromising information of a personal and financial nature on Trump.

*The intelligence chiefs who briefed Trump are Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers.

While the CNN report does not say it, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to draw out the implications of this bombshell if it is true — which is that Moscow can use the compromising information to blackmail a President Trump. In fact, CNN claims that Russia has damaging information on both Hillary Clinton and the Democrats, and on Trump and the GOP, but chose to reveal only the information on Hillary & Dems while withholding Trump’s because Moscow meant to harm Hillary’s candidacy and help Trump’s.

The 2-page memo is a synopsis of 35 pages of memos that “originated as opposition research, first commissioned by anti-Trump Republicans, and later by Democrats.”

How does CNN know this? —

  1. CNN was told this by unnamed “multiple high ranking intelligence, administration, congressional and law enforcement officials, as well as foreign officials and others in the private sector with direct knowledge of the memos.”
  2. CNN claims to have actually “reviewed” the 35-page compilation of memos from which the 2-page synopsis was drawn. Paraodoxically, despite having “reviewed” the memos, CNN does not disclose what is contained in those memos.

Here is what CNN says about the synopsis and the source memos:

  • The 2-page synopsis was not an “official part” of the intelligence report about Russian hacks because it “was considered so sensitive,” but was “only shared at the most senior levels of the government” — President Obama, President-elect Trump, and eight Congressional leaders, including Harry Reid and John McCain.
  • At the same time, just about anyone of importance in D.C. already knows “some of the allegations” that “are circulating among intelligence agencies, senior members of Congress and other government officials in Washington“.
  • In addition to compromising information on Trump, the synopsis also includes “allegations that there was a continuing exchange of information during the campaign between Trump surrogates and intermediaries for the Russian government.”
  • Some of the allegations made in the source memos are from an unnamed “former British intelligence operative” — “a former MI6 agent, who was posted in Russia in the 1990s and now runs a private intelligence gathering firm.” The man and “his vast [intelligence] network throughout Europe” were checked out by US intelligence agencies and found “to be credible enough”. Initially, the British spook’s investigations related to Trump were funded by groups and donors supporting Trump’s GOP primary campaign opponents. Once Trump became the nominee, the spook’s further investigation was funded by groups and donors supporting Hillary Clinton.
  • Some of the allegations were first reported publicly in Mother Jones one week before the election.

So what did Mother Jones report one week before the election?

From Mother Jones, January 10, 2017:

“In late October, Mother Jones’ David Corn first reported that a former Western counterintelligence official [who asked not to be identified] with nearly two decades of experience on ‘Russian intelligence matters’ had been assigned the task of looking into Trump’s dealings with Russia as part of an opposition research effort initially funded by a Republican donor. This official was so alarmed by what he discovered that he passed the intelligence to the FBI.”

What did this unnamed “former Western counterintelligence official” discover which he judged to be “sufficiently serious” to share with the FBI?–

  • The Russian government “has been cultivating, supporting and assisting Trump for at least 5 years,” all “endorsed by Putin,” in order “to encourage splits and divisions in western alliance.”
  • Trump “and his inner circle have accepted a regular flow of intelligence from the Kremlin, including on his Democratic and other political rivals.”
  • Russian intelligence “compromised” Trump during his visits to Moscow and could “blackmail him.”
  • Russian intelligence had also compiled a dossier on Hillary Clinton based on “bugged conversations she had on various visits to Russia and intercepted phone calls.”

According to a HuffingonPost reporter named Andrea Chalupa in a tweet on Oct. 31, 2016, intelligence circles say Russia’s FSB (Federal Security Service) “filmed Trump in an orgy” when he was in Russia.

andrea-chalupa-tweet

Calling Trump and the Republican Party traitors to Russia, Colin Taylor of the rabid Occupy Democrats blog gets on his moral high horse and hysterically declares:

“Trump is unqualified to lead this nation and has done nothing since his victory to show us otherwise, or to even indicate that he intends to govern at all. Now that we know he has been compromised by a foreign government, we cannot allow him to be sworn in.”

Here are my observations:

  1. CNN says that the Trump transition team, FBI spokespeople, and the Director of National Intelligence all declined to comment. Furthermore, the officials who spoke to CNN “declined to do so on the record,” i.e., reveal their names, because of “the classified nature of the material.” All of which means that unless the parties who have direct knowledge of the memos talk, at this point we only have CNN’s word — and we all know how reliable and believable CNN is. [sarc]
  2. Why is the information contained in the 2-page synopsis so much more “sensitive” and “classified” that the synopsis was not an “official part” of the intelligence reports that have been published and publicized, and must remain so secret that the “multiple intelligence officials” who spoke about this to CNN refuse to be named?
  3. Since the information about Trump had been discovered months ago by the unnamed former British spook, and conveyed to Trump’s GOP primary opponents, Hillary Clinton and her campaign officials, the FBI, and even Mother Jones, and given how “compromising” and “damaging” the information is to Trump, why didn’t all those people, especially Hillary, reveal the information to the public?
  4. Since the allegations contained in the damning memos are “widely circulated” in D.C. and known to Obama and Congressional leaders including Harry Reid, why did they wait till now to “leak” the memos to CNN?
  5. If the “compromising information of a personal nature” about Trump is a sex tape of him in an orgy, why would this disqualify him from the presidency when President Bill Clinton’s oral sex with and shoving a cigar up the anus of a White House intern in the Oval Office didn’t disqualify him?

When I began writing this post hours ago, there was nothing about this on Trump’s Twitter feed. I just checked it again. Trump is calling the CNN report “unverifiable” “fake news” and “a total political witch hunt”.

trump-tweet-on-cnn-report-1-10-2017trump-tweet-on-cnn-report-1-10-2017a

Until we are shown the actual 2-page synopsis as well as the 35 pages of source memos, I call this B.S. — yet another desperate ploy of the Obama administration and the complicit “fake news” MSM to subvert the 2016 election.

In addition to CNN’s obvious partisan bias, the network also has a track record of deception and fake news.

UPDATE (Jan. 11, 2017):

H/t FOTM‘s Anon, Will Shanley, and Artist.

Here’s a link to the 35-page dossier from which the 2-page synopsis was generated, which BuzzFeed irresponsibly published even though the document is totally unverified. WikiLeaks observes that it “is not an intelligence report. Style, facts & dates show no credibility”.

A poster on the online chat forum 4Chan, which deletes the chatter after a day, claims that the infamous “golden showers” scene (that Trump made people urinate on a bed Obama slept in) in the 35-page source memo dossier allegedly compiled by a British intelligence officer from which the 2-page synopsis was drawn, was a hoax and fabricated by a member of the chatboard as “fanfiction”, then sent to Rick Wilson, who sent it to the CIA, which then put it in their official classified intelligence report on the election. (ZeroHedge)

In other words, what CNN reports to be Russia’s “compromising information” on Trump is a HOAX.

Shame on CNN! Shame on the CIA and other U.S. intelligence organizations! And shame on the Four Stooges: Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers.

This CNN fake news incident reveals, once and for all, how utterly corrupt and incompetent U.S. intelligence agencies have become under Obama. They have lost all credibility. Trump already has said he’ll reform the agencies, beginning with the CIA.

9 more days until inauguration…. Please pray for Trump’s safety. Please pray for America.

UPDATE 2 (Jan. 11, 2017):

russia-denies-compromising-info-on-trumpUPDATE 3 (Jan. 11, 2017):

WSJ (via ZeroHedge) says the name of the mysterious former MI6 spook is Chris Steele, 52. His LinkedIn page, which is now scrubbed, said he’s currently Director at Orbis Business Intelligence Ltd., London, UK.

WSJ asked Andrew Wordsworth, co-founder of London-based investigations firm Raedas, who often works on Russian issues, if the 35-page Trump dossier is credible. Wordsworth said the memos in the Trump dossier were “not convincing at all. It’s just way too good. If the head of the CIA were to declare he got information of this quality, you wouldn’t believe it.” Wordsworth said it wouldn’t make sense for Russian intelligence officials to expose state secrets to a former MI-6 officer because “Russians believe once you are an agent, you’re an agent forever.”
