New Emails by Global Warming scientists show them to be frauds

Last Tuesday, a new spate of “warmist” e-mails were anonymously released to the public. The e-mails were exchanged among scientists who claim humans are causing a global warming crisis, which requires drastic and coordinated measures on the part of the world’s governments.
James Taylor writes in Forbes.com, Nov. 23, 2011, that the newly-revealed e-mails are igniting a new firestorm of controversy nearly two years to the day after similar emails ignited the Climategate scandal.
Three themes are emerging from the newly released emails:
1. Prominent scientists central to the global warming debate are taking measures to conceal rather than disseminate underlying data and discussions, in total contravention of science’s defining and necessary Principle of Intersubjectivity. The latter refers to the open sharing of scientific data, theories and procedures so that independent parties, and especially skeptics of a particular theory or hypothesis, can replicate and validate the theory’s assertions, observations or experiments.
Emails between Climategate scientists, however, show a concerted effort to hide rather than disseminate underlying evidence and procedures.

Leading global-warming liar Phil Jones

In a newly-released email, Phil Jones — a leading warmist climatologist at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (CRU) who’s working with the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the world’s premier and most influential institution on global warming — writes:

“I’ve been told that IPCC is above national FOI [Freedom of Information] Acts. One way to cover yourself and all those working in AR5 would be to delete all emails at the end of the process.”

In another email, Jones writes of a collusion with the U.S. Department of Energy to conceal data:

“Any work we have done in the past is done on the back of the research grants we get – and has to be well hidden. I’ve discussed this with the main funder (U.S. Dept of Energy) in the past and they are happy about not releasing the original station data.”

Global Warming co-conspirator Michael E. Mann

The original Climategate emails contained similar evidence of destroying information and data that the public would naturally assume would be available according to freedom of information principles. In an email released in Climategate 1.0, Jones wrote to a warmist colleague, Penn State University scientist Michael E. Mann:

“Mike, can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith [Briffa] re AR4 [UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change 4th Assessment]? Keith will do likewise. … We will be getting Caspar [Ammann] to do likewise. I see that CA [the Climate Audit Web site] claim they discovered the 1945 problem in the Nature paper!!”

2. The “warmist” scientists view global warming as a political “cause” rather than a balanced scientific inquiry. The new emails also reveal the scientists’ attempts to politicize the debate, advance predetermined outcomes, and coordinate attacks on skeptical scientists.
Mann writes in another newly released email:

“I gave up on [Georgia Institute of Technology climate professor] Judith Curry a while ago. I don’t know what she thinks she’s doing, but its not helping the cause.”

In another email, Mann writes:

“I have been talking w/ folks in the states about finding an investigative journalist to investigate and expose” skeptical scientist Steve McIntyre.

Global Warming co-conspirator Tom Wigley

These new emails add weight to Climategate 1.0 emails revealing efforts to politicize the scientific debate. For example, Tom Wigley, a scientist at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, authored a Climategate 1.0 email asserting that his fellow Climategate scientists “must get rid of” the editor for a peer-reviewed science journal because he published some papers contradicting assertions of a global warming crisis.
3. Many of these scientists frankly admit to each other that much of the science is weak and dependent on deliberate manipulation of facts and data.

Global warming co-conspirator Jonathan Overpeck

Jonathan Overpeck of the University of Arizona and the coordinating lead author for the IPCC’s most recent climate assessment, writes in an email:

“The trick may be to decide on the main message and use that to guid[e] what’s included and what is left out” of IPCC reports.

Global warming co-conspirator Peter Thorne

Peter Thorne — who worked at the UK Met Office until 2010 and now, God help us, is with the U.S. National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Climatic Data Center in North Carolina — writes in an email to Phil Jones:

“Observations do not show rising temperatures throughout the tropical troposphere unless you accept one single study and approach and discount a wealth of others. This is just downright dangerous. We need to communicate the uncertainty and be honest. Phil, hopefully we can find time to discuss these further if necessary. I also think the science is being manipulated to put a political spin on it which for all our sakes might not be too clever in the long run.”

In an email to Michael Mann, Tom Wigley acknowledges the lies:

“Mike, The Figure you sent is very deceptive … there have been a number of dishonest presentations of model results by individual authors and by IPCC.”

The legal definition of “conspiracy” is:

An agreement between two or more persons to engage jointly in an unlawful or criminal act, or an act that is innocent in itself but becomes unlawful when done by the combination of actors.

The Climategate 1.0 and 2.0 emails are evidence of a conspiracy of warmist scientists. If the Republicans in Congress have a set, they’d hit these criminals with the RICO Act. But they don’t, and they won’t.
I found the photos of these pseudo-scientists to post here so that we know what they look like. Consider the photos to be their mug shots!
Lest we forget, Americans having notoriously short memories, the two leading GOP presidential candidates Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich both were/are believers in manmade global warming.
In Romney’s case, as recently as in his 2010 book, No Apology, Mitt said that, yes, there is global warming/climate change and that it’s human caused. Now that he’s running to be the GOP nominee for 2012, he’s started to hem and haw.
As for Newt Gingrich — the smartest Republican, ever — he so believed in manmade global warming that he appeared, with Nancy Pelosi, in a 2008 TV ad on global warming created by über climate fraudster Al Gore. As recently as November 8, 2011, Newt still maintains that, gosh darn, he just “doesn’t know if global warming is occurring”.

Multiple Investigations of Obama and Cronies

Evil flees the light.
Vampires burn up in the sun, whereas Superman, the good guy, draws energy from and is revitalized in sunlight.
Sunlight is also the best disinfectant. In America today, legal sunlight is the best disinfectant to cleanse our country of its political vampires, viruses, and corruption.
In An Avalanche of Obama Investigations Announced,” Ben Johnson of Floyd Reports brings the good news of a bumper crop in just the last 24 hours of new investigations into the Obama administration and its cronies. They include:

  1. The FBI and the Labor Department announced today they are investigating Andrew Stern, the head of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), for financial improprieties.
  2. National Review‘s Andrew McCarthy has called for Republicans to investigate the Justice Department’s racial discrimination.
  3. Lt. Col. Robert “Buzz” Patterson told NewsMax that Obama bundler Jodie Evans could (and should) be tried for treason.
  4. Rep. James Sensenbrenner (R-WI) is considering keeping open a House select committee to investigate climategate.
  5. Democrat Rep. Jim Clyburn (SC) is warning fellow Democrats that a new Republican Congress will — HORRORS! — investigate Barack Obama’s birth certificate and eligibility.
  6. Add to the above Rep. Darrell Issa’s (R-CA) earlier pledge to investigate this and many other crimes in January 2012 should this November’s elections give control of the House (if not also the Senate) to the GOP.

Here’s more info on #1 crook Andrew Stern by Ben Johnson:

The investigation of the former SEIU president cuts particularly close to the Obama White House. Andrew Stern is a former New Leftist who spent $5 million of SEIU union dues to buy into George Soros’ Democracy Alliance and later took a seat on the executive council of Americans Coming Together (ACT), Soros’ get-out-the-vote organ. (Journalists recently learned that ACT, which allegedly closed its doors in 2005, is still open and paid $775,000 in “civil fees” after Ralph Nader filed a Federal Election Commission complaint of dirty tricks in the ’04 election.) SEIU donated at least $27.8 million to Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, and in return Stern visited the White House more than any other person. Obama, in turn, appointed SEIU lawyer Craig Becker to head the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Stern remains a member of Obama’s deficit reduction commission.
When Stern announced in April he was suddenly stepping down as SEIU president, no one knew why. Today’s announcement that the FBI and Labor Department are looking into his finances seems to clear up the mystery. The AP reported agents questioned Stern in May and June about a $175,000 advance he received from 2006 Simon & Schuster for his book A Country That Works, which may have been illegally fact-checked and promoted at SEIU expense. Given Obama’s long and intimate relationship with the union itself and Stern specifically, one wonders if the president had any knowledge of the dealings — and if he gave Stern the heads-up to quit the union before the investigation broke wide open.

Here’s more info on #3 crook Jodie Evans, who’s a “community organizer” and a member of Code Pink:

Jodie Evans is less concerned with helping herself to forced union dues than in excusing Muslims who kill U.S. soldiers. In April 2008, Ralph Nader’s Public Citizen revealed that Evans has bundled “at least $50,000” in donations for Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign. She and her college student son both donated the maximum $2,300 allowed by law to Barack Obama. Evans is a co-founder of Code Pink. I was the first journalist to report that Evans and Code Pink delivered more than $600,000 in cash and supplies to “the other side” in Fallujah in December 2004. Several Congressmen — all far-Left Democrats — signed diplomatic letters facilitating their journey to the recent battlefield and terrorist stronghold: Sen. Barbara Boxer, Rep. Henry Waxman, Rep. Dennis Kucinich, and Rep. Raul Grijalva. Evans had provided aid and comfort to the enemy before. Shortly after the Iraq war began, she and several other radicals established the International Occupation Watch in Baghdad with the explicit goal of getting U.S. soldiers to declare themselves conscientious objectors so they would be sent home and the armed forces would collapse. One of the members of her advisory committee, Tariq Ali, wrote at the time, “There, it is to be hoped that the invaders of Iraq will eventually be harried out of the country by a growing national reaction to the occupation regime they install, and that their collaborators may meet the fate of Nuri Said before them.” In August 2006, Jodie Evans joined 11 others in a Code Pink-sponsored trip to meet Iraqi “political leaders,” an action one team member called a “diplomatic communication.” Such a trip is potentially illegal, violating the prohibition for private citizens to conduct their own foreign policy. During the trip, Evans met a host of local pro-terror activists, including Sheikh Ahmad al-Kubaysi, who once stated those who fight American soldiers “are guaranteed Paradise.”
Evans does not merely support others who want to kill American soldiers; she justifies the slaughter herself. In a June 2008 radio interview, she agreed Osama bin Laden had “a valid argument” for attacking the United States on 9/11. In the same interview, she likened military recruiting centers to “liquor stores and porn shops.” She claimed the American people “must begin by really standing with the Iraqi people and defending their right to resist,” including by force of arms. Finally, she blurted out: “You’re right! We were trying to undermine the war effort!”
I wrote at the time candidate Obama should return the cash. Instead, he returned the favor. Evans visited Obama appointee Buffy Wicks in the White House on June 19, 2009. That such an individual is welcome in the seat of government exposes how ideologically polarized, extremist, and corrupt the present regime is.

The above are only some of the many Obama scandals desperately in need of investigation. There’s also the Black Panthers case, the Joe Sestak scandal, the firing of Gerald Walpin, the use of taxpayer-funded covert government propaganda, and many other crimes all need to be exposed and removed from our body politic.
Note, however, that the investigations will go forward ONLY if the Republicans are voted control of the House and especially the Senate (for impeachment of the Fraud). Repubs are proposing these investigations because they feel emboldened by the polls and the recent Primary elections turning against Dems. I, too, wish they were more courageous, but sadly, that’s human nature for ya.
So, to conclude, we need to continue to protest, to let the GOP know we want these investigations, and to toss out the trash on November 2.
No Democrats and No RINOs!
H/t beloved fellows Tina, Steve, and May.
