Jay Z Bails Out Violent Protesters

By Doyle Murphy of the New York Daily News
Beyoncé and Jay Z wired ‘tens of thousands’ of dollars to bail out protesters in Baltimore and Ferguson, Mo., a writer says.
Jay Z and Beyoncé bankrolled protesters in Baltimore and Ferguson with tens of thousands of dollars in bail money, a writer and social activist close to him claimed.
“I can say I’ve personally helped facilitate donations they’ve given to protesters directly and that they never ask for anything in return, especially publicity,” author dream hampton told the Daily News in an email.
The writer, who collaborated on Jay Z’s book “Decoded,” first revealed the power couple’s behind-the-scenes support in a series of tweets on Sunday morning.
“When we needed money for bail for Baltimore protesters, I asked hit Jay up, as I had for Ferguson, wired tens of thousands in mins.” hampton wrote.

Colleges embrace pop-culture studies of stars like Miley Cyrus and Beyoncé

NY Daily News: Attention, students: You may now twerk hard and fall crazy in love in the classroom. Miley Cyrus and Beyoncé will be icons of academe this summer, with two area colleges offering seminars on the pop princesses.

At Rutgers University, all the single ladies (and other students, really) can put their hands up in “Feminist Perspectives: Politicizing Beyoncé,” a women’s and gender studies course starting Wednesday. The course covers the growth of Queen Bey’s media empire, with a special emphasis on how she manages her roles as a black icon and sex symbol with motherhood and marriage.

“She’s the most powerful black woman in entertainment and pop culture,” says Kevin Allred, the doctoral student who’s teaching the class. “She’s gotten more confrontational and more explicit when she’s talking about beauty and gender.”

Allred sees Beyoncé as perfect fodder for a women’s studies class because she is a modern ideal of feminism. Her commitment anthem, “Single Ladies,” and her collaboration with hubby Jay Z show she’s the rare star who advocates sexual magnetism as well as monogamy, Allred says. “Her music has always had strong implications for what it means to be a beautiful and strong woman today,” he says.

What it takes to be a beautiful and strong woman...

What it takes to be a beautiful and strong woman…

But Beyoncé is not the only multiplatform star who can teach a thing or two to today’s youth. Starting Tuesday, Skidmore College in upstate New York will offer “The Sociology of Miley Cyrus” to give pupils a crash course in the history of someone the same age they are.

In a career of less than a decade, Miss Miley has already proved herself “a useful primary document” for discussions of sex and power in media, teacher Carolyn Chernoff says.

Cyrus went from squeaky clean Disney star to dirty-minded diva strutting her stuff in every concert. She sparked debates about slut shaming, overt sexuality and the privileges of white stars — as when she borrowed twerking from hip-hop culture and brought it to last year’s Video Music Awards.

“She’s a really interesting case study for how someone can represent sex and gender while maturing in the public eye,” says Chernoff, a visiting assistant professor at Skidmore. “Miley is a work in progress, but you can already see such a complex narrative of how people talk about her unbridled sexuality.”

That kind of analysis is what separates popular publications like Entertainment Weekly from ponderous ones such as American Quarterly, the Journal of the American Studies Association.

“Sociologists have long talked about peeling back the layers to see what’s behind our social phenomena,” says Rik Scarce, chair of Skidmore’s sociology department, who said he had “no hesitation” in approving the Cyrus course.

“Miley Cyrus is a delivery device for themes of American life,” he adds. “When you say, ‘Miley Cyrus? Who cares about her?’ you shut down the very purpose of sociology.”

Miley Cyrus

Of course, it’s not the first time that residents of the Ivory Tower have deigned to study pop culture. In fact, it’s become as widespread on campuses as binge drinking and all-nighters.

Film and television became accepted as worthy of academic study in the 1960s, followed by music when Dartmouth College started teaching Bob Dylan as part of its poetry courses in the 1970s.

But these days, the course load is increasingly likely to include music and other pop culture. Georgetown University decoded Jay Z in a sociology class, the University of South Carolina did the same for Lady Gaga, and New York University brought in Questlove for a Classic Albums course in which he considered the works of the Beastie Boys and Prince in the manner of long-loved works of literature.

But there’s a reason for all this genre bending: The mainstream material gives students an easy way into topics such as identity and social change that they otherwise might gloss over.

“Those classes use popular culture as the Trojan horse to sneak in education on other topics,” says Syracuse University media professor Robert Thompson, who taught “The Love Boat” in the ’80s as an example of how TV viewers love shows that don’t demand their full attention.

“If an academic were to responsibly look at Miley Cyrus and Beyoncé, he or she could scratch the surface of all kinds of really important things with who we are as a culture,” he says.

Students in these classes won’t just be tuning in for long lectures. Allred and Chernoff say they’ll show clips of the scholarly songstresses’ music videos and interviews, while citing less sexy theoretical writings. The classes will center on group discussions that bring it all together.

Beyoncé’s work will be accompanied by texts from black feminist writers, including activist bell hooks and abolitionist author Sojourner Truth. Miley will share the intellectual stage with sociologists like Laura Grindstaff and Joshua Gamson. (Who? Exactly!)

So pop scholars, check on it — these will be a true wrecking ball of critical theory. “This will be an intensive experience,” Chernoff says. “It’s just a different way of teaching sociology.”

I’m sure these classes will help many students obtain a high-paying job. /sarc

Hypocrites: Jay Z, Beyonce release star-studded, high crime promo for On the Run Tour

Guess who appeared in a gun control political ad (see 05 and 43 second marks)?

Now guess who has made a video to promote her tour that is filled with guns and violence?

Beyoncé and Jay Z proved to be showstoppers once again with the release of “Run.”

The Melina Matsoukas-directed short film, which debuted Sunday, sets the stage for what audiences can expect from the celeb couple’s upcoming On the Run Tour.

In true Bey and Jay fashion, the nearly 4-minute clip includes a star-studded lineup with the likes of Sean Penn, Don Cheadle, Blake Lively, Jake Gyllenhaal, Emmy Rossum, Rashida Jones and her sister Kidada, and “Scandal’s” Guillermo Diaz.

The modern day Bonnie and Clyde tote guns, rob banks and run from the law while professing their undying love for one another.

While Penn acts as a mentor calming the wild antics of Jay Z, the outlaw, Cheadle and the hip-hop star conduct business together, but aren’t friends.

“I remember this one time when you told me that when the s–t gets bigger than the cat, get rid of the cat,” Hov says to Penn as they meet in a dark strip club. “I didn’t know what the f–k you were talking about, until right now.”

“Don’t get caught,” the 53-year-old “Gangster Squad” actor advises.

In another clip, the tension can easily be felt as Jay and Cheadle split the profits of dirty money in a hotel room. “You nervous man?” the “Holy Grail” rapper asks.

“Do I look nervous,” Cheadle, 49, answers defensively. “Are you hustling me?” The “House of Lies” star becomes angry and makes it clear that he’s not one to be messed with.

“What’s going on is that you come in here and you’re disrespecting me,” he said. “I don’t appreciate it.” “Unless you prepared to do something, don’t ask me no questions,” Jay responds.

Blah, blah, blah. Read more about the video here. Their promo video is FILLED with gun violence. In the first 10 seconds, I noticed 7 guns. Notice at the 32 second mark there’s a bed with 5 guns, including an AR-15.

Beyoncé graces Out magazine’s Power issue: ‘Women should own their sexuality’

NY Daily News: Beyoncé is on a power trip.

The Houston-born pop star has been on a campaign for women’s empowerment that apparently isn’t subsiding anytime soon.

“I’d like to believe that my music opened up that conversation,” Beyoncé, 32, tells Out magazine in an interview for its May Power issue, her first magazine feature since debuting her self-titled album in December.

“There is unbelievable power in ownership, and women should own their sexuality.”

In addition to promoting sexual liberty for women in her songs, like “Partition” and strength in “Flawless,” Beyonce has been representing the national “#BanBossy” initiative.

“I’m not bossy — I’m the boss,” she says, in the new campaign ad, fronted by “Lean In” author Sheryl Sandberg and the Girl Scouts of America, designed to help girls develop self-esteem.

Being that I am a woman in a male-dominated society, the feminist mentality rang true to me and became a way to personalize that struggle,” she said.

Her interview with Out is not by chance either. Beyoncé told the magazine that she is aware of her status as an icon within the LGBT community.

“What I’m really referring to, and hoping for, is human rights and equality, not just that between a woman and a man,” she said.

“So I’m very happy if my words can ever inspire or empower someone who considers themselves an oppressed minority … We are all the same and we all want the same things: the right to be happy, to be just who we want to be and to love who we want to love.”

The “XO” singer also gave new details about the making of her top-selling fifth album, which she secretly released in December, including that she even recorded her latest single while sick.

“I was sick with a bad sinus infection,” she told the magazine. “I really loved the imperfections, so I kept the original demos.”

Quit playing the victim Beyoncé. Your “struggle” as a “feminist” in a “male-dominated society” hasn’t held you back. In fact it’s helped you become worth $350 million.

Jay-Z wears medallion of black supremacist group

Jay Z at Nets game, 4-1-2014Jay Z with wife Beyoncé at Nets game, April 1, 2014

See that huge medallion around the neck of rap mogul and Obama supporter Jay-Z?

The medallion has an 8-pointed star with the number 7 inside it.

The 8-pointed star is the symbol of a black racist sexist supremacist group called Five Percent Nation. The group’s beliefs are similar to Louis Farrakhan’s (black) Nation of Islam, but go even further.

Five Percent Nation maintains black men are gods, racially superior to all others, and that the Christian God is a lie concocted by evil devilish whites.

The number 7 is “god,” which means not only is Jay-Z a racist supremacist, he thinks he is god.

Gary Buiso reports for The New York Post, April 6, 2014, that “Last week, all eyes at the Barclays Center weren’t on Jay Z’s better half, Beyoncé — but on the coaster-size golden pendant swinging from the rapper’s neck as the couple sat courtside.”

The gaudy medallion worn by Jay-Z (and also New York Knicks basketball player Carmelo Anthony) is that of the Five Percent Nation (FPN). FPN believes that black people are the fathers and mothers of civilization, white men are the devil, the Christian god is nothing more than a ghost and only a small percentage of people (5%) really understand the world.

When asked if the group’s symbol — an eight-point star with the number 7 in the middle — held any meaning to him, Jay-Z shrugged, “A little bit.”

Michael Muhammad Knight, 36, a white author of two books on FPN who converted to Islam as a teenager, says Five Percenters believe that “the black man is God and created the universe” and is superior in every way — “physically stronger and intellectually stronger and more [morally] righteous naturally.”

In contrast, white people are “weak and wicked and inferior — basically just an errant child who needs to be corrected.” Knight wrote, “The first lesson I learned from the Five Percent was simple: F–k white people. Seriously. White people are devils.” (Which means Knight, who is white, believes he himself is a devil who should be “f-cked.” But I’m sure that logic escapes Knight.)

Knight says FPN’s beliefs about the races is more a statement about power rather than biology, “For me, it is about who is marked as privileged in the power relations of this society.” Knight calls FPN’s ideas “empowering.” He says, “Anytime someone is saying you have to accept your conditions of oppression and slavery and pray to an unseen god — that kind of god is just being used to keep people down and to keep people from looking to themselves as a solution to their problems. If there is a problem, no one will fix it for you, except yourself.”

FPN was founded in 1964 in Harlem by Clarence Smith, a former student of black Muslim Malcolm X who disagreed with the Nation of Islam over the nature of God. That’s because Clarence Smith thought he was god. Smith later changed his name to Allah, the Arabic word for god or supreme being. Not just Allah, Smith was known as Allah the Father.

Smith rejected the notion of a supernatural deity and instead believed that all black men had God in them and that black women were “earths” who took on a complementary yet subordinate role to their gods. (That would explain why Jay Z’s wife, Beyoncé, submissively called herself “Mrs. Carter” in her recent concert tour. Jay-Z‘s real name is Shawn Corey Carter.)

FPN calls the Christian God a “mystery God” concocted by 10% of the world’s population (whites) to control the other 85%.

10%+85%=95%. What about the remaining 5%?

Although Five Percenters don’t consider themselves Muslim, their name however comes from the Nation of Islam’s belief that 5 percent of humanity are “poor righteous teachers” who exist to enlighten the masses about the truth of existence. Members sometimes refer to themselves as “scientists” to drive home the search for truth. Members must learn the “Supreme Mathematics and Supreme Alphabet” — allegedly powerful tools to decipher the meaning of the universe but which are really superstitious numerology. In both, each letter and number represents a concept, for example, 1 is knowledge, 2 is wisdom, while A is Allah and B is be, or born. The number 7 on Jay Z’s pendant stands for God.

Some FPN followers take exception to those who transform their flag into a fashion accessory. Saladin Allah (another god!), a representative of the group’s upstate region told The Post, “Jay Z is not an active member — no one has vouched for him. It was always understood that you don’t wear the regalia if you don’t totally subscribe to the life.”

beyoncejayzobamanothereforthemJay-Z (l) makes the neo-Nazi “Quenelle” hand gesture with his bud Obama.

But then I can’t imagine why Jay Z needs anyone to “vouch” for him or why Five Percent Nation even should have rules. Since all black MEN (not women) are gods, they don’t need anyone’s stamp of approval (“vouching”) or rules. Afterall, rules are only for lesser people.

Hmm. Where have I seen that before?

I know, I know!

The Narcissistic Personality Disorder!

Last but not least, Jay-Z’s god is actually Satan. He has a song to “Lucifer” in his 2003 The Black Album. (See my post “Pop Culture Satanists“.) Of course, we’ll try to overlook Jay-Z’s (and all satanists’) illogic in believing in Lucifer, but not the God who created the fallen angel. And to think Mr. Carter thinks he’s among the godlike five percent of humanity who alone are “enlightened” and really understand the truth! LOL

Obamas’ “role model” for their young girls puts out another trashy video

Daily Mail: With her superstar career, she’s far from being a bored housewife.

But in her newly released video, Beyonce plays an oversexed beauty who attempts to seduce her disinterested husband. One of the 17 tracks included on her self-titled visual album, Partition has now been released as a stand-alone video.

It starts with Beyonce clad in a white dressing gown sitting at a breakfast table in a luxurious castle-like mansion.

The camera follows her face as she attempts to catch the eye of her disinterested husband. As he rustles the paper, turning pages oblivious to the beauty opposite, Beyonce slips open her gown to reveal a plunging black and blue corset.

She drops a napkin to the gown as she sips her coffee, but finding herself ignored begins to fantasize.

The camera cuts to the back seat of a luxurious Rolls Royce, where Beyonce and the unseen man cavort on the back seat.

The 33-year-old sings: ‘He Monica Lewinskyed all on my gown,’ as she rolls around in her underwear and jewels.

Rapid scenes of Beyonce in various states of undress then follow. We see the mother-of-one crawling out of the dark in just a bra and jewelled headdress.

Silhouetted and naked she poses on a couch, her curvy figure on fill display.

We see her twirling on the floor in her lacy underwear, before pole dancing in a thong. In one seductive sequence, a chain pair of underwear cling to her behind as she wriggles, back to the camera. Then in an acrobatic display she leans backward to show her breasts.

Eventually we get a hint as to the identity of her uninterested lover – who suddenly seems as lot more involved.

Through a plume of smoke we see a heavy gold signet ring, before catching a glimpse of Beyonce’s real-life husband Jay Z. As she writhes on his lap in her underwear, there is a brief glimpse of the couple’s faces.

The video then ends with them back at the breakfast table. As Beyonce takes a sip of her coffee, it is clear Jay Z has put down his paper – and is now regarding her intently.

The singer has explained the story behind Partition, and why she chose to film it at the Crazy Horse nightclub in Paris – where husband Jay took her after he proposed.   ‘The day that I got engaged was my husband’s birthday, and I took him to Crazy Horse and I remember thinking “Damn, these girls are fly.”

‘I just thought it was the ultimate sexy show. I was like, “I wish I was up there, I wish I could perform that for my man.” So that’s what I did for the video.’

Keepin’ it classy…I’m sure the Obamas are proud of their girls’ role model.

Double standard: Obama made the same neo-Nazi gesture as Tony Parker

Breitbart.com reports, Dec. 30, 2013, that the Jewish human rights group Simon Wiesenthal Center is demanding an apology from San Antonio Spurs superstar point guard Tony Parker for “repeatedly making a neo-Nazi hand gesture:

As a leading sports figure on both sides of the Atlantic, Parker has a special moral obligation to disassociate himself from a gesture that the government of France has identified as anti-Semitic.

Here are 4 images of Parker and teammate Boris Diaw, a Frenchman, making the offensive gesture:

Tony Parker

The offensive hand gesture is called the “Quenelle” gesture–a right arm extended towards the ground, palm opened and the other one bent across his chest touching his right upper arm. The gesture has been labelled as a “reversed Nazi salute,” made famous a few years ago by Dieudonné, a French comedian from African background who is under fire in France for his repeated use of the symbol.

Haven’t we seen the Quenelle neo-Nazi salute before, in one of FOTM’s caption contests?

Here it is:

Why isn’t the Simon Wiesenthal Center demanding an apology from Obama, Jay Z, and Beyoncé (I don’t know who the other guy is) for making the same neo-Nazi racist salute that Tony Parker made?

Stinking “liberals” and their stinking double standard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beyoncé criticized for using Challenger disaster audio clip in pop song

Fox News: Some of those closest to the 1986 Challenger disaster are speaking out against Beyoncé, after the songstress included an audio clip from the time of the shuttle’s explosion in her new pop song “XO.”
On Jan. 28, 1986, the space shuttle Challenger exploded almost immediately after liftoff, killing seven crew members.
In a six-second audio clip at the start of the song, NASA’s public affairs officer at the time, Steve Nesbitt, is heard saying, “Flight controllers here looking very carefully at the situation. Obviously a major malfunction.”
And those who vividly remember the horrifying disaster were quick to take notice. The widow of Challenger Commander Dick Scobee, June Scobee Rodgers, issued a statement about the use of the audio on behalf of the Challenger Center for Space Science Education, an organization formed by the families of the astronauts in the their memory.
We were disappointed to learn that an audio clip from the day we lost our heroic Challenger crew was used in the song ‘XO’. The moment included in this song is an emotionally difficult one for the Challenger families, colleagues and friends. We have always chosen to focus not on how our loved ones were lost, but rather on how they lived and how their legacy lives on today,” she said in a statement posted on NASAWatch.com.
Keith Cowing, a former NASA employee, who runs NASAWatch.com echoed similar sentiments and called for Beyoncé to apologize to the families.
These words were uttered as the crew and their disintegrating vehicle were still falling into the sea. These words are forever etched into the psyche of everyone who was watching that day and still echo across the years for the generation that followed… This choice of historic and solemn audio is inappropriate in the extreme.”
The pop star responded by issuing a statement about the song, according to News.com.au.
“My heart goes out to the families of those lost in the Challenger disaster. The song ‘XO’ was recorded with the sincerest intention to help heal those who have lost loved ones and to remind us that unexpected things happen, so love and appreciate every minute that you have with those who mean the most to you.
“The songwriters included the audio in tribute to the unselfish work of the Challenger crew with hope that they will never be forgotten.”
The song is about a girl in a relationship and includes lyrics like “I love you like XO, you love me like XO, you kill me boy XO.”
The Challenger Center for Space Science Education could not be reached for further comment.

Illuminati eye symbol in Sandy Hook charity poster

The word “illuminati” is the plural form of the Latin word illuminatus, which means “enlightened.” The Oxford Dictionary defines “enlighten” as to “shed light” and to “give greater knowledge and understanding.”
With a capital “I,” the word Illuminati can refer to:
1. The Order of the Illuminati — a secret society founded in Bavaria by a German philosopher named Adam Weishaupt (1748–1830) during the European Enlightenment on May 1, 1776, to oppose “superstitionprejudice, religious influence over public life, abuses of state power, and to support women’s education and gender equality.” Modeled on the Free Masons, the Bavarian Illuminati was outlawed 7 years later in 1785, but its critics believed the secret society had regrouped and masterminded the bloody French Revolution. [Source: Wikipedia]
2. In contemporary use, “Illuminati” mainly refers to a secret satanic elitist group that some (like writers Mark DiceDavid IckeTexe Marrs) say is linked to the original Bavarian Illuminati, which conspires to control world affairs by masterminding events and planting agents in government and corporations to establish a New World Order. This Illuminati is satanic, having the fallen angel Lucifer as their master. (The Old English origin of “Lucifer is Latin, meaning “morning star” or “light-bringing”. Lux or luc means “light”; -fer means “bearing”.)

Illuminati Symbols

In popular culture, the eye and the pyramid — or the eye inside a pyramid — are claimed to be iconic symbols of the Illuminati.
But a freemasonry website, Grand Lodge of British Columbia and Yukon, says that neither was used as a symbol by the original Bavarian Illuminati as no primary source material of or about the Bavarian Illuminati contains an image of an eye and pyramid, although the pyramid, as a symbol of hierarchy, is spoken of in the printed ritual.
While insisting that neither the eye nor the pyramid “have ever been uniquely masonic symbols,” the freemasonry site nevertheless admits that both are used as masonic symbols: “a few [masonic] Grand Lodge jurisdictions incorporate them into their seals” and “The first ‘official’ use and definition of the all-seeing eye as a masonic symbol seems to have come in 1797 with The Freemasons Monitor of Thomas Smith Webb — 14 years after Congress adopted the design for the Seal.”

Great Seal of the USAThe Great Seal of the United States, first used publicly in 1782, is used to authenticate documents issued by the U.S. federal government.

Whether or not the eye and the pyramid were symbols of the historical Bavarian Illuminati, they unquestionably are used today to symbolize the conspiratorial NWO Illuminati. By intentional design, both symbols — especially the one eye — are employed by Hollyweird pop culture entertainers like Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Rihanna, and TV shows like Pretty Little Liars. (Go to VigilantCitizen for more pics.)

BeyonceBeyonce flashes the sign of the eye-in-pyramid, with her satanist husband Jay-Z behind.

lady-gaga-muppetsIn a TV show called “Lady Gaga & The Muppets Holiday Spectacular.” Lady Gaga flashes the one eye sign. 3.6 million viewers (including a whole bunch of children) watched this on Thanksgiving.

Pretty Little Liars
Chase Kowalski was one of the 20 children allegedly killed a year ago by alleged mass murderer Adam Lanza in Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012, in Newtown, Connecticut.
In honor of their son, Chase’s parents, Becky and Stephen Kowalski (pic below), created the Chase Michael Anthony Kowalski Sandy Hook Memorial Fund.
Chase Kowalski's parents
The Kowalskis say the memorial fund already has funded 135 scholarships for pre-school YMCA programs. The fund is planning to partner with New Jersey’s YMCA to build a community center, Chase’s Place, where families can exercise together instead of putting kids in day care while the adults work out.
Since Chase loved to run, the memorial fund plans to sponsor “Race 4 Chase” triathlons for kids. Here’s the poster for “Race 4 Chase” that’s erected in a kids’ playground in Normandy Beach, New Jersey. (See the news video of this here.)
Here’s the “Race 4 Chase” poster.
Now ask yourself why would a charity poster for a child killed in Sandy Hook sport the one-eye-in-a-pyramid Illuminati symbol???
Meanwhile, in the event someone wanted to go investigate the Sandy Hook crime scene and verify the official version of the story, here is what’s left of Sandy Hook Elementary School. The school was torn down, ostensibly because of asbestos, the workers sworn to confidentiality.
As Vigilant Citizen wryly notes: “That is how you destroy evidence.”
