Israel insults Japanese PM by serving him dessert in a shoe

This is utterly bizarre.

The Jerusalem Post reports that during Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s second official visit to Israel, he and his wife dined at Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence on May 2, 2018.

Netanyahu’s  private chef — Israeli celebrity chef Moshe Segev (aka Segev Moshe) — capped the gourmet dinner with a dessert of chocolates served in a shoe.

The Jerusalem Post notes that it is considered highly offensive in Japanese culture, but I would think that being served food in a shoe would be offensive in any culture.

While Abe took the unusual presentation in stride, Japanese and Israeli diplomats and Japan watchers were shocked that the Japanese prime minister would be served from a shoe, albeit a metal shoe.

A senior Israeli diplomat, who had previously served in Japan, said:

“This was a stupid and insensitive decision. There is nothing more despised in Japanese culture than shoes. Not only do they not enter their houses while wearing shoes, you will not find shoes in their offices either. Even the prime minister, ministers and members of parliament do not wear shoes to work… It is equivalent to serving a Jewish guest chocolates in a dish shaped like a pig.”

A Japanese diplomat said:

“No culture puts shoes on the table. What precisely was this illustrious chef Segev thinking? If this is meant to be humor, we do not find it funny. I can tell you that we are offended for our prime minister.”

Segev is an award-winning chef, prominent restaurateur, author and television personality, and the head chef for Israel’s El Al Airlines. He is so proud of his insult that he posted to his Instagram account photos of the dinner, including a closeup of the dessert-in-a-shoe.

One Instagram user wrote:

“You’ve made your greatest fiasco ever. The nation will never forget this, Segev. I truly loved you. You should be ashamed.”

Abe first visited Israel in 2015, the first Japanese prime minister to have done so. During his recent visit, he and Netanyahu discussed North Korea, the Iran nuclear deal and Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations.

There is no way the chef would have done the dessert-in-a-shoe without informing Netanyahu before hand, and there is no way Netanyahu did not know that serving dessert in a shoe to Japanese PM Abe (or anyone) isn’t an insult.

The only way I can make sense of this incident is that it was a calculated insult to Abe and the country of Japan in retaliation for:

  1. Abe’s remarks in a speech the day before to the Palestinian National Council, that the Holocaust wasn’t caused by anti-Semitism, but by the Jews’ “social behavior, [charging] interest, and financial matters.” Netanyahu calls Abe’s remarks “anti-Semitic” and the real reason why there is still no Israeli-Palestinian peace.
  2. Abe informing Netanyahu of Japan’s policy position:
    • Japan has no plans to move its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
    • Israel should restrain its settlement construction.
    • Japan still supports the nuclear agreement with Iran, which it sees as a contribution to Middle East stability. (Haaretz)

Jim Stone, the “independent journalist” fraudster, maintains that the 9.1-magnitude earthquake that hit Japan on March 11, 2011, destroying Japan’s Fukushima nuclear reactor and triggering the devastating tsunami, was actually the result of an underwater nuclear detonation by Israel to punish Japan for offering to help Iran with its nuclear program.

Compared to that, being served dessert in a shoe is nothing.

Iran is a terror threat to the Middle East, Latin America & USA

Did you know that in 2010 in New York City, the heads of the New Black Panthers and Nation of Islam met secretly with then-Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and forged an alliance against their common enemy — the white race?

Who's the chickenshit? Benjamin Netanyahu or Barack Obama?

According to Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic magazine, a senior Obama administration official recently described the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu as “chickenshit.”
Explaining the meaning behind calling the leader of an ally a “chickenshit,” the official told Goldberg, “Netanyahu is … scared to launch wars…. He’s got no guts.” (See “Senior WH official calls Israel’s prime minister ‘chickensh*t“)
This is the same Benjamin Netanyahu who joined the Israel Defense Forces during the Six-Day War in 1967, and became a team leader in the Sayeret Matkal special forces unit. He took part in many missions, including Operation Inferno (1968), Operation Gift (1968) and Operation Isotope (1972), during which he was shot in the shoulder. He fought on the front lines in the War of Attrition and the Yom Kippur War in 1973, taking part in special forces raids along the Suez Canal, and then leading a commando assault deep into Syrian territory. He was wounded in combat twice.
In contrast, not only had Barack Obama never served in the military, there are good reasons to suspect the authenticity of his Selective Service or draft registration form.
The Urban Dictionary defines “chickenshit” as “coward, cowardly, wimp, wimpy, an unmanly being, a man without testicles, a pussy.”
The definition reminds me of these oh-so-manly images of the POS, beginning with one taken with Netanyahu, all of which the White House would rather you forget. Why do you think the White House has put restrictions on press photographers taking pics of Obama, many of whom must now depend on pre-approved photos taken by official White House photographers?

With (alleged) mother Stanley Ann Dunham (l) and half-sister Maya Soetoro

With his then-White House senior adviser Rahm Emanuel who is a former ballerina

I feel pretty…with carefully manicured nails!

Gabbing with the girls

This is a historic first: a President of the United States riding a girl’s bike

And let us not forget this is how manly Obama works out in the gym, specifically a hotel gym in Warsaw, Poland, on June 3, 2014. Pay special attention to the girly man doing the reverse fly with sissy squats at the 1:05 and 2:30 marks.

So I ask you, who really is the “chickenshit” — Benjamin Netanyahu, veteran of the Israeli Special Forces, or Barack Obama? Sound off in our poll!

Senior WH official calls Israel's prime minister "chickensh*t"

The United States of America, the most powerful country in the world, has as our President an uncouth man who picks his nose in public on live TV.
[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oQmLzdTl_U]
We have as our First Lady a “woman” who scratches her crotch (see “First Lady of Itchy Crotch”) and lets her snot drip for more than 5 minutes while making a speech to America’s governors, all recorded on video. Beginning at the 14:20 mark in the video below, you’ll see a drop of mucus coming out of Mooch’s left nostril. (See “First Lady of Snot“)
[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=DiOcVFLYFQI#!]
Here’s a screenshot I took of the shiny droplet under Mooch’s left nostril at the 14:20 mark (click image to enlarge):
First Lady of Snot
And now we find out we have in the White House — “the people’s house” — an official who calls the prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, a “chickenshit.”
Doesn’t that just make you proud to be an American.
Kelly Cohen reports for the Washington Examiner, Oct. 28, 2014, that according to Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic magazine, a senior Obama administration official recently described the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as “chickenshit.” That’s on top of calling Netanyahu “recalcitrant, myopic, reactionary, obtuse, blustering, pompous, and ‘Aspergery'” — as in someone with Asperger Syndrome, a type of autism.
Explaining the meaning behind calling the leader of an ally a “chickenshit,” the official told Goldberg, “The good thing about Netanyahu is that he’s scared to launch wars. The bad thing about him is that he won’t do anything to reach an accommodation with the Palestinians or with the Sunni Arab states. The only thing he’s interested in is protecting himself from political defeat. He’s not [Yitzhak] Rabin, he’s not [Ariel] Sharon, he’s certainly no [Menachem] Begin. He’s got no guts.”
A separate White House official told Goldberg that the administration believes Netanyahu to be a “coward” on the issue of Iran’s nuclear threat, no longer believing he would ever launch a preemptive strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Israeli officials have warned that Iran intends to build a nuclear weapons program.
Earlier this month, the Obama administration had denied reports that it planned to go around Congress on a nuclear arms deal with Iran.

Netenyahu and the POSMr. Netanyahu, a lot of Americans feel the same as you do about the POS.

AP & Reuters use photo of Netanyahu in Hitler pose

Yesterday, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a 32-minute speech at the United Nations.

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhaUVmYBXD0]

Out of those 32 minutes, this is the moment-in-time that two of America’s biggest news wires, the Associated Press and Reuters, chose to use as their photo about Netanyahu’s speech:

The photo shows Netanyahu raising his left arm in a gesture that is uncomfortably similar to the infamous salute of Adolf Hitler. The photos, of course, just capture a moment in time as Netanyahu was gesturing from behind the podium.

What a shining example of objectivity and impartiality from the journalism profession!

Why be so subtle, AP and Reuters? Just get it over with and paint a Hitler moustache on Netanyahu’s face already.

You media whores make me puke.

H/t FoxNews Insider.

Despite Obama’s now-overt hostility to Netanyahu and Israel, a new nationwide poll finds that some 65% of Jewish Americans still say they’ll vote for the POS. Go figure.

Rumor of Israel mobilizing for war

I got this from a friend who is a conservative, a veteran, a former journalist, and prolific professional writer.

He says he can’t vouch for what you’ll read below, but it was sent to him by a former captain in the U.S. Navy, who is “very reliable.” Here’s what the naval officer wrote (note that he wrote this BEFORE the assassination of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, and the attacks on our embassy in Cairo and on our consulate in Benghazi):

……………………

Subject: Something unusual is happening in Israel

Date: Sept. 11, 2012

Just recv’d this from a good friend in Bel Air, MD

I got this from one of my close friends who has a brother in Israel and believe it 100%. Something is coming.

I don’t know if you follow such things but…

My brother and his family live in Jerusalem – he is a minister – and a former Navy SEAL – his office is close to one of Israel ‘s largest underground military bases.

He called me last night which is very unusual – usually it is email.

He called to tell me that he is sending his family back to the US immediately due to what he is seeing happen within the last week and what he is being told by his military contacts in both the Israel and US military.

He said he is seeing with his own eyes military movements the likes of which he has never seen in his 20+ years in Israel. What he called a massive redeployment and protective tactics of forces is underway.

Over the last two days he has seen anti-aircraft missile deployments throughout the Jerusalem area including 3 mobile units that he can see from his office windows. In addition, he has seen very large Israeli armored columns moving fast toward the Sinai where Egypt has now moved in Armor.

There are reports of the top military leaders meeting with Israel’s senior rabbi which is something that has happened preceding every prior military campaign.

His admonition is to watch carefully and pray for Israel and its people.

He is convinced that barring something extraordinary Israel will attack Iran – with or without the US – and very soon.  It is the belief in Israel that Obama does not stand with Israel but with the Arab countries.

He has told me before that Israel will saber rattle from time to time but that this time is very different from what he is seeing and hearing. He was at the Wailing Wall 2 days ago and there were hundreds of IDF [Israel Defense Forces] soldiers there. As he was leaving he passed at least 20 military buses full of soldiers in route to the wall.

He has never seen this before either.

Just thought I would pass this along.

My brother is not an alarmist by any means.  When he talks like this it gets my attention for sure and usually I find he knows more than he shares.

There are reports that Israel is asking Obama to come to Israel immediately but they are being answered with silence.

My opinion is that I see the making of the perfect storm.

Obama in fact is refusing to communicate with Israel. Reuters reports on Sept. 11, 2012, that “In a highly unusual rebuff to a close ally, the White House said on Tuesday that President Barack Obama would not meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a U.S. visit later this month….”

In so doing, the POS in the White House is deliberately isolating Israel — at a time when extremist Muslims in the Mideast are rampaging, rioting, killing.

Israel is being pushed into a corner.

God help us. Pray!

Update:

DEBKA is reporting tonight (Sept. 13) that “In the wake of the anti-US Islamist turbulence sweeping Arab capitals, Israel has posted additional military, police and security forces in the West Bank, opposite the Gaza Strip and among Israeli Arab communities following information received that all three are preparing to stage big anti-American protests Friday, Sept. 14, which could easily spill over into Israel.”

Stand With Israel

On May 19, 2011, Obama broke with long-standing US policy and completely sided with the Palestinians, by endorsing Palestinian demand for their own state based on the borders that existed before the 1967 Six-Day War.
In effect, Obama demanded that Israel roll back its borders to pre-1967. That, in turn, means that, with the West Bank gone, Israel’s mid-section is severely narrowed. Lacking strategic depth, the state of Israel will be territorially indefensible, as you can see by the red arrow in this map:

Emboldened by Skippy’s speech, now the Palestinians are formally asking the United Nations General Assembly to approve for statehood for “Palestine”.

World leaders including Skippy and Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are gathering in New York for the UN sessions and vote. The United Nations vote is expected on Friday, September 23rd.

Please stand with Israel by going HERE to sign this letter of support:

An Open Letter to:
— Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
— U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
— U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice

We, as citizens of the United States, reject Palestinian statehood. We stand with Israel’s right to secure its borders without giving away additional land to its self-proclaimed enemies who do not even recognize Israel’s right to exist as a nation. We declare the irrefutable fact that earlier “land for peace” agreements, such as the infamous Gaza withdrawals of 2005 and 2009, forcibly displaced thousands of families from their homes, served to increase terrorist attacks from even closer range, and led to the killing of many innocent men, women, and children.

We further declare that the United Nations’ “Peace Plan” for the region is NOT a plan for peace at all, but would dislocate at least 400,000 Jews from their homes and lands. No foreign country or United Nations resolution has the right to decide a nation’s borders!

Further, we acknowledge Jerusalem as Israel’s God-ordained, undivided capital, knowing that Israel’s sovereignty will protect the holy sites of all faiths, rather than allowing them to come under control of Hamas terrorists who hate both Jews and Christians alike.

We honor Israel as our most significant and most trusted friend and ally in the region and are grateful for the vital intelligence and technological advances emanating from Israel that have enhanced our own national security.

We, the undersigned, call upon the United Nations to reject the Palestinian National Authority’s request for statehood. We encourage President Barack Obama, the U.S. State Department, the U.S. Congress, and the whole body politic of the United States of America to stand unwaveringly with Israel, without taking any further actions that would jeopardize Israel’s sovereignty, safety, security, or borders.

Sincerely,

Sign the letter by CLICKING HERE.
H/t my friends Barbara & Bill.
Obama now is back-tracking. Financial Times (ft.com) reports that if Palestinians go ahead with an application to the Security Council, the Obama administration will veto it.
Meanwhile, Congress is readying a wave of measures that will strip funding not only from the Palestinian authority if the UN push succeeds, but also from all UN bodies. The most far-reaching measure put forward in a 153-page bill by the chairwoman of the House foreign affairs committee, Florida Republican Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, makes US funding of UN agencies conditional on how the body votes on the statehood issue.
I say: Why make this contingent on Palestinian statehood?
Strip US funding from the United Nations NOW!!!!

Israel to Obama: Bugger Off

Last Thursday, Obama broke with long-standing US policy and completely sided with the Palestinians in the ongoing Israel-Palestinian conflict by endorsing Palestinian demand for their own state based on the borders that existed before the 1967 Six-Day War. That means Israel must forfeit the West Bank and Jerusalem, rolling back its borders to pre-1967. That, in turn, means that Israel effectively becomes territorially indefensible.

The next day Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu flew to the United States to meet with Obama in the Oval Office, where this interesting photo was snapped. The New York Times describes Obama as listening, “almost frozen,” as Mr. Netanyahu clearly and firmly rejected what Obama had proposed the day before.

Photo taken by Jim Young of Reuters

This is the transcript of what Netanyahu told Obama:

Thank you, Mr. President.

Well, Mr. President — and first, I want to thank you and the first lady for the gracious hospitality that you’ve shown me, my wife and our entire delegation. We have an enduring bond of friendship between our two countries. And I appreciate the opportunity to have this meeting with you after your important speech yesterday.

We share your hope and your vision for the spread of democracy in the Middle East. I appreciate the fact that you reaffirmed once again now and in our conversation, and in actual deed, the commitment to Israel’s security. We value your efforts to advance the peace process.

This is something that we want to have accomplished. Israel wants peace. I want peace. What we all want is a peace that will be genuine, that will hold, that will endure. And I think that the — we both agree that a peace based on illusions will crash eventually on the rocks of Middle Eastern reality, and that the only — the only peace that will endure is one that is based on reality, on unshakable facts.

I think for there to be peace, the Palestinians will have to accept some basic realities. The first is that while Israel is prepared to make generous compromises for peace, it cannot go back to the 1967 lines, because these lines are indefensible, because they don’t take into account certain changes that have taken place on the ground, demographic changes that have taken place over the last 44 years. Remember that before 1967, Israel was all of 9 miles wide — half the width of the Washington Beltway. And these were not the boundaries of peace; they were the boundaries of repeated wars, because the attack on Israel was so attractive from them.

So we can’t go back to those indefensible lines, and we’re going to have to have a long-term military presence along the Jordan.

I discussed this with the president. I think that we understand that Israel has certain security requirements that will have to come into place in any deal that we make.

The second is — echoes something the president just said, and that is that Israel cannot negotiate with a Palestinian government that is backed by Hamas. Hamas, as the president said, is a terrorist organization, committed to Israel’s destruction. It’s fired thousands of rockets on our cities, on our children. It’s recently fired an antitank rocket at a — at a yellow school bus, killing a 16-year-old boy.

And Hamas has just attacked you, Mr. President, and the United States for ridding the world of Bin Laden. So Israel obviously cannot be asked to negotiate with a government that is backed by the Palestinian version of Al Qaeda.

I think President Abbas has a simple choice. He has to decide if he negotiates or keeps his pact with Hamas, or makes peace with Israel. And I — I can only express what I said to you just now: that I hope he makes the choice, the right choice, of choosing peace with Israel.

But a third reality is that the Palestinian refugee problem will have to be resolved in the context of a Palestinian state but certainly not in the borders of Israel. The Arab attack in 1948 on Israel resulted in two refugee problems, Palestinian refugee problem and Jewish refugees, roughly the same number, who were expelled from Arab lands. Now tiny Israel absorbed the Jewish refugees, but the vast Arab world refused to absorb the Palestinian refugees.

Now, 63 years later, the Palestinians come to us and they say to Israel: accept the grandchildren, really, and the great-grandchildren of these refugees, thereby wiping out Israel’s future as a Jewish state.

So that’s not going to happen. Everybody knows it’s not going to happen. And I think it’s time to tell the Palestinians forthrightly, it’s not going to happen.

The Palestinian refugee problem has to be resolved. It can be resolved. And it will be resolved if the Palestinians choose to do so in Palestinian state. That’s a real possibility. But it’s not going to be resolved within the Jewish state.

The president and I discussed all of these issues, and I think we may have differences here and there, but I think there is an overall direction that we wish to work together to pursue a real, genuine peace between Israel and its Palestinian neighbors, a peace that is defensible.

Mr. President, you are the — you are the leader of a great people, the American people. And I am the leader of a much smaller people. The…ancient nation of Israel. And you know, we’ve been around for almost 4,000 years. We have experienced struggle and suffering like no other people. We’ve gone through expulsions and pogroms and massacres and the murder of millions.

But I can say that even at the dearth of — even at the nadir of the valley of death, we never lost hope and we never lost our dream of re-establishing a sovereign state in our ancient homeland, the land of Israel. And now it falls on my shoulders as the prime minister of Israel at a time of extraordinary instability and uncertainty in the Middle East to work with you to fashion a peace that will ensure Israel’s security and will not jeopardize its survival.

I take this responsibility with pride but with great humility, because, as I told you in our conversation, we don’t have a lot of margin for error and because, Mr. President, history will not give the Jewish people another chance.

So, in the coming days and weeks and months, I intend to work with you to seek a peace that will address our security concerns, seek a genuine recognition that we wish from our Palestinian neighbors and give a better future for Israel and for the entire region. And I thank you for the opportunity to exchange our views and to work together for this common end.

Thank you, Mr. President.
