Don’t kid yourself: The corporate liberals care nothing about protecting women

Ever since the #MeToo movement started, we’ve been told by democats that we must #BelieveWomen.

Yet when it comes to telling womens’ stories of abuse and harassment, the media and progressives do everything they can to bury the stories to protect their friends in high places.

Apparently it’s only acceptable to #BelieveWomen when they accuse republican men (even with scant-to-no proof).

NBC killed Ronan Farrow’s expose on Harvey Weinstein in their desire to protect predators.

ABC News spiked a story exposing the truth behind pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Obviously, the above two stories have a certain power couple connection – the Clintons. Funny how the two alphabets killed these stories at the time Hillary Clinton was running for president. Just a coincidence, I guess.

Now comes word that Nike is apparently victim-shaming a women runner who claims that Nike’s former trainer, Alberto Salazar , put her through physical and mental abuse.

The NY Post reports that athlete Mary Cain, while working with Salazar on Nike’s Oregon Project, the coach forced her to lose weight and ignored her acts of self-harm. Just 17 at the time, Cain describes scenes where Salazar would weigh her in front of her teammates and publicly shame her if she wasn’t hitting her weight.

Nike cut ties with Salazar this year after he was banned for 4 years from athletics for doping offenses.

Nike says they will launch an investigation and from their statement: “These are deeply troubling allegations which have not been raised by Mary or her parents before. Mary was seeking to rejoin the Oregon Project and Alberto’s team as recently as April of this year and had not raised these concerns as part of that process.”

The NY Post says that other women are backing Cain’s claims. From their report:

Multiple prominent runners, including New York City Marathon winner Shalane Flanagan, have spoken out in support of Cain. Olympic runner Kara Goucher backed up Cain’s allegations and criticized Nike’s handling of the situation on Twitter Friday.

“So [Nike] responds to [Cain],” Goucher wrote. “Takes the time to victim shame Mary, before saying they will investigate. I hope you come to me, because I have stories to match all of Mary’s claims and so much more. Don’t let this be more lip service, actually do something.

Read the whole NY Post story here.

As a result of this scandal, Nike CEO Mark Parker is stepping down to become executive chairman of the company on January 13, 2020. He endorsed Hillary Clinton for president in 2016.

Just another example of progressives’ and their double standards: They claim to care about women yet put politics, power and profits over the truth and well-being of women.

Lawsuit claims Robert De Niro subjected female employee to creepy and abusive behavior

Demorats set the standard: We must believe all women. He’s guilty!

From NY Post: Robert De Niro routinely subjected his longtime employee to creepy and abusive behavior, including leaving her voicemails threatening “you’re f—ing history” and calling her a “bitch” and a “brat,” an explosive new lawsuit charges.

Graham Chase Robinson says for years she was the victim of “gratuitous unwanted physical contact” from the Oscar winner, who also hurled “sexually-charged comments to her” when she worked at his production company, Canal Productions Inc.

Robinson’s allegations against the “Taxi Driver” star are levied in a lawsuit filed Thursday in Manhattan federal court for gender discrimination and wage violations.

She said she began working for Canal Productions in 2008 as an executive assistant and “forced to resign” in April after rising to the position of vice president of production and finance.

“Robert De Niro is someone who has clung to old mores. He does not accept the idea that men should treat women as equals,” the suit says. “He does not care that gender discrimination in the workplace violates the law. Ms. Robinson is a casualty of this attitude.”

She claims De Niro treated her as his “office wife” and made her do “stereotypically female duties, like housework” while underpaying her and denying her overtime.

The actor also allegedly “urinated during telephone calls” with Robinson and would greet her wearing only his “pajamas or a bathrobe,” the suit says.

“Among other things, De Niro would direct Ms. Robinson to scratch his back, button his ties and prod him awake when he was in bed,” the complaint adds. “De Niro also stood idly by while his friend slapped Ms. Robinson on her buttocks.”

Robinson said she had to endure De Niro’s jokes about his Viagra prescription and that he directed her to “imagine him on the toilet.”

”De Niro suggested that Ms. Robinson could get pregnant using sperm from her (married) male co-worker,” the suit adds.

The suit also contains a link to a recording of a scathing voicemail De Niro allegedly left Robinson when she didn’t pick up his call. “You f—ing don’t answer my calls? How dare you! You’re about to be fired. You’re f–king history,” he seethes.

De Niro and his production company sued Robinson for $6 million in August, accusing her of swiping cash and frequent flyer miles and abruptly quitting. But Robinson claims that suit was brought in retaliation — after she had threatened to sue the actor first.

“De Niro was enraged at the prospect of Ms. Robinson bringing a lawsuit challenging his behavior,” Robinson’s complaint says. “So, he retaliated and struck first.”

Robinson claims she long contemplated quitting but that De Niro would lord his influence as one of Hollywood’s top actors over her, telling her he’d giver her “bad recommendation” if she left, according to court papers.

Listen to De Niro’s voicemail message to Robinson here.

This would not shock me that this woman’s claim is true. De Niro has a history of abusive language and behavior:

TDS-infected Robert De Niro screams at his driver because he went to the wrong spot

Actor Robert De Niro threatens violence against Trump

#BelieveWomen? Charges dropped against cop due to “sophisticated ruse”

This is why we have due process, proggies.

From MyNorthwest: All charges against a former Bellevue (Washington) police officer were dropped Monday when prosecutors stated that he did not commit the crimes he was arrested for, which were part of a “sophisticated ruse” put forth by the accuser.

KIRO Radio’s Hanna Scott reports that the King County Prosecutor’s Office is dropping charges against John Kivlin, and is not pursuing rape charges against another Bellevue cop Richard Newell.

According to court documents the accuser “fabricated evidence and used a sophisticated ruse to deceive Kivlin, law enforcement, prosecutors, and the court in order to have Kivlin taken into custody and charged with additional crimes. The result of the (accuser’s) fabrication was that law enforcement arrested Kivlin for crimes he did not commit, prosecutors filed charges against Kivlin for crimes he did not commit, and the court held Kivlin in custody for order violations which he did not commit.”

Kivlin was arrested in April and accused of assaulting his girlfriend twice. The two reportedly met on Craigslist and began a relationship in 2015. But the woman began making allegations against Kivlin and other Bellevue police officers in 2018. After Kivlin was arrested and released for the assault allegations, he reportedly contacted the woman in violation of a court order in July. He was then charged with witness tampering.

Kivlin was arrested again for contacting the woman in August. But prosecutors say the woman making the allegations was lying this time. After inspecting Kivlin’s phone and billing records, it appears that the woman got Kivlin to text with her using a fake name in August.

Prosecutor’s add that she admitted that rape allegations she previously made in 2009 and 2010 were also false.

Prosecutors said that they are not pursuing previous charges in light of the recent developments and the accuser’s lack of credibility.

The case has also wrapped up Bellevue Police Chief Steve Mylett in allegations. Those allegations are under investigation by the Bothell Police Department and have not been made public. Mylett has been placed on leave. Despite not initially knowing the nature of the allegations, the chief denied them.

The woman who waged allegations against Kivlin and Chief Mylett also accused another Bellevue officer, Richard Newell. No charges were filed against him. He has also resigned from the police department.

Hypocrite Lady Gaga: Supporter of Bill and Hillary Clinton is upset by Kavanaugh hearings

Lady Gaga and her Clinton buddies: #BelieveWomen, but only of a certain political persuasion.

Lady Gaga says she was raped at 19 and as a result, suffers from PTSD. In the past, she teamed up with Joe Biden to help sexual assault survivors.

Wonder if this starlet has ever reached out to the sexual assault survivor Juanita Broaddrick? I’m going with NO. What a Hollyweird hypocrite.

From Hollywood Reporter: Lady Gaga stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday night to discuss all things A Star Is Born, as well as share her thoughts on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

When asked if she was willing to talk politics, Gaga said “bring it on.” Of Kavanaugh, who has been accused of sexual assault and misconduct by multiple women including Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, Gaga, who has been open in the past about her own sexual assault, said the ongoing “debate of Kavanaugh versus Dr. Ford is one of the most upsetting things I have ever witnessed.”

“But I will tell you something,” she continued. “Should we trust that [Dr. Ford] remembered the assault? Yes. And I’ll tell you exactly why. She’s a psychologist, she’s no dummy. And when someone experiences trauma, the brain changes. It takes the trauma and puts it in a box so that we can survive the pain.” A vote to confirm the highly controversial Trump pick to the Supreme Court is set to be held Saturday. Kavanaugh has denied all the claims against him.

Gaga added that she believes Ford was probably “triggered” when she realized Kavanaugh would be nominated and she decided to “protect this country.”

(At this point, the article doesn’t expand on any of her claims about Kavanaugh or Ford, it merely moves on to her latest movie. Because when you’ve got a movie to promote #believewomen can take a back seat.)

The pop star-turned-actress was also on hand to promote her new film A Star Is Born, which she stars in with director and writer Bradley Cooper. The film is the fourth iteration of the classic tale of a young up-and-coming star who falls in love with an older, established one whose career is fading as hers takes off. The project is Cooper’s directorial debut and Gaga’s big screen acting debut, although she previously won a Golden Globe for her role on American Horror Story: Hotel.

Of how she got the part, she said that she sang at a charity event the night before she met with Cooper. After he heard her sing “La Vie en Rose,” he wanted to meet with her, and they had an immediate connection. Of first meeting her future director and co-star, Gaga said, “There’s a lot of fake people in Hollywood but Bradley is not one of them.”

And although Gaga is a Grammy-winning artist, she’s not the only one who has a natural singing ability. She told Colbert that she was blown away by Cooper’s singing voice when she first heard it. “That man, he sings from his gut, from his soul and you can be technically perfect, but with no ability to tell a story, and he tells a story when he sings,” she said, adding, “I was drawn to his passion.”

Her character Ally may be a rising pop star, but Gaga said the similarities between her and her character end there. “My character Ally is very different than I was. I knew I had something to say and I wanted to say it… but she’s not that way,” she said, explaining that, “she’s in her 30s and she’s given up. She’s been told she’s not beautiful enough to make it and truthfully she’s insecure.”
