Jihad Jimmy Slams Obama for the One Thing He is Doing Right

The one bright spot in what otherwise has been the most dismal, not to mention dangerous presidency in American history has been Obama’s willingness to continue to arrange meetings between 7th Century, bass-ackward illiterate camel-washers, and Allah.
I have to admit, even if half-grudgingly, this is the one thing Obama has gotten right – regardless of his motives.
Now along comes Jimmy Carter, the 39th POTUS, and the person I hold responsible for rekindling the 14 century-long Jihad that had pretty much laid dormant since WWI.
Apparently, Jimmy Earl is most displeased with Obama’s use of drones to dispatch the Jihadists to Hell:

Carter attacks Obama over assassinations and drone attacks

David Usborne  Wednesday 27 June 2012
Former president Jimmy Carter has blasted the United States for anti-terror strategies such as targeting individuals for assassination and using unmanned drones to bomb suspected targets, saying they directly flout the basic tenets of universal human rights and foment anti-US sentiment.
In an article written for the New York Times headlined “A Cruel and Unusual Record”, Mr Carter, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 for his work trying to resolve conflicts around the globe, suggested that the US is in violation of 10 of the 30 articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It is a rare attack by a former commander-in-chief on a sitting President – especially of the same party.
While Mr Carter does not name President Obama, there is little disguising that he is the principle target of his stinging words. Recent weeks have seen a slew of media reports detailing how Mr Obama has grown increasingly dependent on drones to take out suspected terror cells and describing how he has the final word to approve names on a “hit-list” of most-wanted terror suspects overseas for assassination. “Revelations that top officials are targeting people to be assassinated, including American citizens, are only the most recent, disturbing proof of how far our nation’s violation of human rights has extended,” Mr Carter wrote, concluding that the US is “abandoning its role as the global champion of human rights”.
In the past, Mr Carter, 87, has meted out similar criticisms, most notably George W Bush. This latest assault is embarrassing for Mr Obama as it will serve as a reminder that he specifically pledged to adjust America’s posture in the war on terror. He began by banning interrogation techniques he considered to be torture, such as water-boarding, and by closing down Guantanamo Bay. On the latter, of course, he has failed to deliver.
It is poignant, moreover, that both men are Peace Prize winners. Critics believe Mr Obama has proved himself unworthy of the honour which he received soon after taking office. His supporters believe however that he has pre-empted criticism of his foreign policy performance. Under his watch, Osama bin Laden has been killed and much of the top echelons of al-Qa’ida have been gutted.

James Earl Carter was defeated in one of the most lopsided presidential elections in the history of elections.
Thirty-two years hence, I still do not think he gets it.

DoD Caves In to CAIR

Via  blogs.orlandosentinel.com:
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) announced today that the Department of Defense will begin allowing Muslim and Sikh students who wear an Islamic head scarf (hijab) or a turban to participate in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC).
“We welcome the fact that Muslim and Sikh students nationwide will now be able to participate fully in JROTC leadership activities while maintaining their religious beliefs and practices,” said CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad.
In October, the Washington-based Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization wrote to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta after a 14-year-old Muslim student at Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn., was forced to transfer out of a JROTC class when her commanding officers told her she could not wear hijab while marching in the September homecoming parade.
CAIR requested constitutionally-protected religious accommodations for the girl and for future Muslim JROTC participants.
In a Dec. 19 letter sent to CAIR, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army Larry Stubblefield wrote:
”I have been asked to respond on behalf of the Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta to your October 13, 2011 letter concerning Miss Demin Zawity’s request to wear a religious head covering (hijab) while participating in an Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) event at Ravenwood High School.
“Based on your concerns, the Army has reviewed its JROTC uniform policy and will develop appropriate procedures to provide Cadets the opportunity to request the wear of religious head dress, such as the turban and hijab. This change will allow Miss Zawity and other students the chance to fully participate in the JROTC program. Additionally, a representative from the U.S. Army Cadet Command will contact Miss Zawity and provide her the opportunity to rejoin the Ravenwood High School JROTC unit.
“The Army prides itself in being a diverse organization, comprised of individuals from many faiths and religions. We appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention.”

The Romans allowed their enemies to live within their borders, too.
It ultimately cost them their empire.
Their enemy was, by the way, the Islamists.

Something Tells Me Obama Will Bow to China

Today, China’s President Hu Jintao begins a 4-day state visit of the United States.
China is a rising power made rich since its market-based economic reforms began some 30 years ago. But China’s new wealth is not simply due to its people’s hard work, for that hard work could generate wealth only because of America’s and the West’s trade with and investments in China, which in turn, are the product of our fantasy that economic “engagement” with China inevitably would lead to its political democratization.
Now, through an aggressive policy of investing in Africa and Latin America, China is securing those continents’ natural resources — including oil. With a new blue-water navy and weapons acquisitions that include a new stealth fighter aircraft and a new anti-ship ballistic missile targeted on U.S. aircraft carriers operating in the Western Pacific, China is pursuing its territorial claims to the East China Sea (the Senkaku islets), Taiwan, and the South China Sea rich in undersea oil and natural gas deposits.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is set to deliver a major speech on U.S.-China relations on Friday, Jan. 14, in Washington. (Read the text of the speech HERE.) I’ve read the speech and applaud its clear-eyed view of China and the problems in our relations.
Having said that, something tells me the Fraud in the White House will not stand up to this rising power. Here’s why!

And Taiwan knows it too!
